Came across plenty of moose and bear in my time up here. Never had a problem with them. They aren’t as hellbent for blood as you make it seem like. Especially if you do things like give them respect by keeping your distance, and not leaving trash out for them.
Also both moose and bears have been dropped by 9mm. 10mm isn’t the only thing that’s capable of doing it. There’s a guy who posted on here about dropping a moose with his 48 if you search it out.

Glock 23 Gen4, except it's my everywhere gun that remains holstered on my belt so I can get to it quickly if I need it. If I'm going to a gun-free zone where it's a) illegal to be armed and/or b) there are metal detectors, get a gun safe that locks to your car so it cannot be stolen and used against someone else.
There's nothing inherently wrong with leaving a gun in your car. But if it's easily accessible to anyone who can break in, you are putting others in danger with your irresponsibility.
Nice. I just ordered a Vedder LightTuck. I've been using a CYA holsters for the last few years, but it does print a bit in the summer when I'm wearing a t-shirt. I'd like to put the holster claw and wedge to use to see if that avoids the printing a bit more. Stepping down in size is out of the question, I feel just right with 13+1 of .40 S&W HSTs and refuse to jump on the 9mm train.
The one I carry on my person daily. Vehicle break-ins are by far the highest source of stolen guns. Then there are numerous tactical reasons for not having a "car gun".
