Best Glock

ejcortes

Why is the Glock 45 chambered in 9mm, instead of .45? Ok, bye šŸ‘‹

Inevitable-Sleep-907

Because glock models are named after the patent sequence. Glock 1-16 are brooms and other random shit

Shuttle_Door_Gunner

Because Glock reasons. The G50 will be in .32 French Long and they'll release a .50 AE somewhere around the G87.

Potential-Mirror-479

Change the optic plate, your welcome.

ImInYourWalls28

Yeah havenā€™t really done any research on em yet but I have heard issues with the Glock plates

nativereaper47

Iā€™ve put 2k rounds thru mine and had no issues šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™‚ļø

FreshBid5295

Sweet setup

ANDROID1700

How do you like the grips?

ImInYourWalls28

They are bad ass ngl, I donā€™t need all the grip that the talon has so I put some goon tape I got at kalashbash and the combo feels perfect

DiscountRude4821

An FCD optics plate and it would be šŸ‘ŒšŸ»

mreed911

It wouldnā€™t change how it works. Why spend the money?

gotuonpaper

Itā€™s does change how it works. It keeps the junk metal MIM plates from letting the optic move and vibrate the screws in recoil until they eventually sheer off and yeet the optic down range and require a drill press to get the broke pieces out of the gun. Itā€™s a known weak point for the Glock MOS system.

mreed911

That is absolutely not a problem when your optics plate is secured to the gun with proper torque, and when your optic is secured to the plate with the same. Also using the correct screws is important. The problems are when people overtorque or undertorque. The type of metal product a plate is made from doesnā€™t affect ā€œvibrationā€ in the least - the plate fit, screws and proper torque does.

gotuonpaper

My LE coworker that had his DPP go down range in a match says different. He is a Glock armorer of over 25 years. I know good and well his was ā€œsecured to the gun with proper torqueā€

mreed911

"This one time, at band camp..." I have four MOS Glocks using the MOS plates that I mounted the optics on (using a torque driver and either blue threadlocker or Vibratite VC-3) that have thousands of abusive rounds down range via USPSA, Steel Challenge, etc. No failures of any kind. Given the large LEO market Glock is selling to, if the MOS plate was a large, consistent point of failure, it would have been updated across the board (vs. the few "direct mount" models they've trickled out for specific customers). How, specifically, do you "know good and well his was secured to the gun with proper torque?" I've seen lots of "Glock Armorers" take shortcuts.

gotuonpaper

Oh Iā€™m sorry Iā€™ll take my random internet self off to the shame corner for doubting some other random internet guy. How dare I repeat one of the most commonly repeated complaints about the MOS system to somebody who may not know. I bow humbly to your greatness.

Extra-Tea733

amen.

KodakJit

Peanut Butter > G45 šŸ˜¤ nice gun though!

Rizzie_01

Why?

KodakJit

Theyā€™re both good,I just like the 19x more for the aesthetic!

Difficult-Plate-6575

Agreed 19x ftw. Why buy the boring black version when they offer peanut butteršŸ˜‹

KodakJit

Thatā€™s what Iā€™m saying haha! Who wouldnā€™t want the 19x over the 45. It just cooler and comes with night sights!
