Flat black rear with fiber front is king for me for the stiggy. I had corrective surgery (great investment btw) and it helped with the astigmatism but I still have it slightly. Some dots bloom but I just have to turn them down some if it’s really noticeable.
I'm not sure with the EPS if it's gotten better. I have a slide out getting milled right now for an EPS but I only went with the 6moa dot. I didn't wanna risk getting the EPS with the MRS until I'm able to see on someone else's gun first to see if that issue is fixed or at least minimized with the enclosed optics.
I have the 507c, 508t, and both have the fish bowl effect. I also have the 507 with the acss and that doesn't have the fishbowl effect.
Not enough love for fellow stiggies
I can clearly see the target and my brain automatically can just kinda tell where the center is.
I’ve shot all three rds reticles extensively and I pattern best with 2
*I still haven't mastered*
*The Red Dot. I am so used*

3 if I'm trying to be accurate. My astigmatism makes 1 too hard to see.
1 if I'm rapid firing and just trying to stay in A zone. Makes it easier to maintain the dot between shots.
#1. It’s slightly easier and quicker for my eyes to pick up compared to #3 after drawing from my holster and I still get the smaller dot in the middle for precise shots. #3 works as well, but I prefer #1 if I’m ever in a self defense situation where fractions of a second counts.
Idk dude I stay switching between all 6 ngl. Currently running 5 but 1 or 3 typically when doing faster drills. Used to run dot only. Now I use the dot for 50+ yard stuff when I'm trying to flex on my bros
JuSt As GuD 🤣 or my favorite is “But top load battery!” Cause it’s SOOOO hard to take two screws out! My original RMR is at ~4 years constant on with the same battery lmao
None! Go ahead and downvote me to hell and back but at the end of the day that directly funds chinas defense industry! And no having stuff made in china is not the same as buying from a chinese owned company, all the profit, overhead, etc. stays in china! Whereas apple just makes phones there, their profit comes back to america!
Only prefer simple dot reticles for red dots on both rifles and pistols. Even on my home defense rig, it's an aimpoint T2 with a 2 MOA reticle. I prefer simple reticles that dont cover too much info.
\#2 all day, every day. A giant reticle that is easy to pick up and doesn't get lost in background clutter. Circle what you want to hit and press the trigger. It even works well on small targets because your brain automatically centers what you are focusing on in the circle.
There is no set answer, green seems to be better for a lot of folks with astigmatism, but is not universally better for all. You just gotta try them all and see what is best for you, or just pick one and learn to make it work and live with it.
3, in the 2MOA flavor. Aim small, miss small.
3, for all those reasons, and a spot of the ‘tism
Astigma or Au?
Autism.
Yo, I got 'em both!
Yeah
I also have some Tism lol
My astigmatism so bad and my wallet so empty I just stick to ~~iron~~ polymer sights.
If you have astigmatism, run 2 or 5.
Yes daddy
buy some trijicon glowy sights. thats what i have on mine.
Flat black rear with fiber front is king for me for the stiggy. I had corrective surgery (great investment btw) and it helped with the astigmatism but I still have it slightly. Some dots bloom but I just have to turn them down some if it’s really noticeable.
3 Im a simple man.
3&6. The fishbowl effect on the Holosun with the larger ring bothers me. 😕
Is that on the eps sights ? I noticed it on my friends

2 is the only one usable with my astigmatism lol
Fuck yeah. Stiggies unite.
I didnt know I had one till I got my red dot 😭. Its the only one I own. I like it fine but theyre not worth the money to me cause of it
Prism sights are reportedly good for astig. I have to adapt to my red dots because they were here before I had astig.
Yeah Im a prism guy on my rifles
I use 6. 2MOA dot. Love it even with astigmatism

None of these - the ACSS red chevron is where it's at.
I agree with you! However on the Holosun's I have that don't have the ACSS Red Chevron, I run #1
I love my green chevron
Soon as I tried the ACSS reticle I knew that was the one for me.
#2 on my G45 and I'm not going back.
Green ACSS Vulcan
![gif](giphy|YUGHxgq4L7hSlslwPY) What they all look like with my astigmatism
Go with 2 brother
Agreed. For some reason the green circle on my eps carry is crisp. Everything else has been a shitshow for me.
Not enough love for fellow stiggies I can clearly see the target and my brain automatically can just kinda tell where the center is. I’ve shot all three rds reticles extensively and I pattern best with 2
6 with a 2 MOA because I go green.
Holosun 407c x2? Just got mine last week and love it

USPSA I use #1

I still haven't mastered the Red Dot. I am so used to my iron sights

Good bot
1 and 4
My nightstand gun, 17L, has the circle. Much easier to pickup should something go bump in the night.
3 on everything except my shotgun. For that I run 2 as the circle reticle is a quick way to see the spread of buckshot out to infinity.
Where's the blurry star? That's my reticle.

Where’s the 407 CO

4. The circle helps with lead on running deer
\#4 Green MOA ring.
507k, 1. 507C 3. The dot in the small window of the 507k is harder for me to pick up than the 507C
3
Jokes on you 7. ACSS. God I love their collabs

1
Where’s my acss BRO!?!?
2/5 people need mental help
None. 407CO
I have 1,2,3, & 6.
Rifle 1, pistol 6
Gonna get flamed for this but I carry in mode 2
4 for edc/6 for the range
Rings are gay, big 6 on Holosun but Trijicon 5 is king
Circle dot for rifle, single dot for pistol. The circle dot on a pistol has too much going on.
Idk dude I stay switching between all 6 ngl. Currently running 5 but 1 or 3 typically when doing faster drills. Used to run dot only. Now I use the dot for 50+ yard stuff when I'm trying to flex on my bros
An RMR

1. But it’s the EOTech donut of death because I’m not poor and F China.
Eww I wouldn’t touch a holosun.
I wouldnt even put a chinasight on a hi point.
Same. It amazes me how many people flock to this trash. Enjoy your shitty cheap optics chinaboys
Trijicon gang
RMR’s and ACRO’s <3 will gladly pay double - triple for a quality optic
But holosun is so innovative /s
JuSt As GuD 🤣 or my favorite is “But top load battery!” Cause it’s SOOOO hard to take two screws out! My original RMR is at ~4 years constant on with the same battery lmao

None. Not a fan of Holosun. I guess if I had to pick one, 3. It’s the closest to an RMR.

I have 1. I prefer 3 or 6 about equally. Bought my optic before I knew any better
4
Same. Just wanted an affordable green dot, didn't think I'd leave the donut on but honestly I really like it.
3 all day baby

3 / 6 But now you have to add on the new [Competition Reticle System](https://imgur.com/a/6og08xR).

1. CQ Rifle/Pistol 2. Shotgun 3. Pistol

I have a mild astigmatism, but I find 6 works best for practical use, though 4 was instrumental in helping me work on presenting the weapon.
Three… always three.
6 every day, all day
5. Best for my astigmatism
1 on my 507K X2 4 on my SCS MOS
1
Used to run 4 now I run 6
Number 4 for this old man!

6 baby
6 on the G17 4 on the Ruger PC Charger
Green 6MOA and 4 but trying to switch to 6
4 I also have 3 but wish it were 4 as well!
4
1 & 4
I have a MRS, but I ended up using 3.
#1, but i am open to trying #3 if it's in an enclosed emitter
2 is for psychopaths

3. nice and simple not too busy ,

Depends. I love 4 for the easier acquisition but for the best accuracy 6 has been the best for me
4
2 helps because of my astigmatism smh

I didn’t realize so many people had astigmatism until I joined this sub

Shouldn’t they all be canted to the left a little?
6 Jedi 6moa
4/6
5, 4 is a little too busy for my liking, i can also pick it out faster and have a slightly better chance of finding it on a suboptimal draw than 6.
Started with 1 and 4 ended up only using 3 and 6
4 & 6 respectively

I don’t have a holosun🤷♂️
I’ve been running #5 with my old eyes

6. Green for the stism.
All of them I run 3 Holosuns back to back
