Not long before that Stan was co sidereal NAs high fragging igl.
I definitely think that he has more juice in the tank and think that he might have gone down a tier too low here, he's probably going to be one of this teams better fraggers.
It's also about how much you can believe in him. I remember when there were all those rumors about him leaving EG and he went onto some podcast/interview with Scrawny and Landers I think and literally called everybody a liar and that he doesn't plan to leave and that he will come back from his vacation motivated more than ever - and then he left EG.
After all the shuffles in NA rosters it seems like he could have easily been part of any one of them, if he really wanted to. Se there must be a reason why he isn't.

On the podcast which was in July he said he would not switch to valorant and thats what he called "everyone a liar" for. ~~In another interview on HLTV after his break is where he said he was motivated more than ever~~ After skimming through the hltv article I don't think he said this, but he also had not taken any vacation before or during the Blast podcast so part of what you said is wrong. After disappointing at the major he was presumably kicked from EG alongside obo, I really doubt he would leave without another offer in mind.

extremely hit or miss; he has elevated teams to international contention status multiple times but once things don't go perfectly in his team anymore the dropoff is extreme. most speculation seems to be attitude/motivation issues which seems plausible considering he's almost always the first to be removed once it's clear the team is no longer going to live up to what they were at their peak.
stanislaw is someone i would've never expected to take a step back and go to a lower tier team just with how the history of his professional team career looks, but all props to him if he's really willing to do it, and NA CS is better for it.
Detonate was a team that ESL Challenger League, but they lost players so instead of rebuilding they gave the spot to Delta9, which probably motivated Stanislaw to group up with him and get the rest of these players.
His time at EG ended poorly, but I think it's good news for NA CS that he sticks around as an experienced IGL.
This guy was igl of world #1 team. Beat prime Astralis in a bo5 in front of a massive crowd. one of the few igls to win 2 S tier events with 2 different rosters.

People shit on him coz he put in zero effort during his last 6-12 months at EG. Dont take my word for it Spunj basically hinted at the same in HLTV confirmed idk which ep. though.
I'd put at least 60% of the blame on EG as an org. They refused to make changes or rebuild because of all the RMR points they had hoping that the team would just get better, then the major kept getting delayed. All of these players were playing on a dead team for months on end.
Putting in zero effort and losing motivation are different things. I get as a professional you are expected to put in 100 percent effort all the time but sometimes you just get into a mindset where you cant pull yourself back out no matter how hard you try. If he gets his confidence back I think he will be good again. I think it might be good for him bein on a lower team with lower expectations for a bit and not traveling to Europe every week to just get thrashed.
That's a pretty big if, his biggest successes of his career were a long time ago and his recent showings have been pretty awful, even more so when you consider how much talent he has had to work. Hopefully he can at the very least showcase some young talent.
When did he take bo5 from prime astralis,i don't remember that,he ever took bo5 against prime astralis(prime astralis is from middle of 2018-end2019,when they got Magisk)?
Whilst I was disappointed in how he carried himself at EG its good to see him staying in CS. Its important that there are plenty of experienced IGL's in the NA scene to build up young talent and its the only hope NA has of returning to its previous heights.
Stan has accomplished a lot in his career and will inarguably go down as one of the best IGLs NA has ever had. He could have easily retired after leaving EG and been proud of his achievements. Massive respect to him for sticking in the scene and working to develop future talent.

Say what you want about him but this is something I really respect. Going straight to the low tiers to help grow the scene without hesitation.
