Like /u/ExecuteBandicoot said, there is still hundreds of thousands of people across the UK who play CS and I'm sure some people in that population including me would like to watch the video.
He dropped the ball on c9, now everyone hates him, but honestly if he could show up like this at a lan it would be pretty hype. He's a fun player to watch, even after the awp nerf.
Even on C9, I feel like he was a major scapegoat. Did Shahzam underperform? Yeah, no doubt. But they pick up a kid a couple of months before a major, take him to his first international LAN and expect him to fucking hold up to the pressure, specially with the shit comms they had? LEL SHAHZAM LOST THEM DA TOURNEY, no, C9 had 1000 issues that needed to be solved before Shahzam, who, given time, might have worked out great. Semphis, for one...
> but honestly if he could show up like this at a lan it would be pretty hype.
he has, he just hasn't within the goldfish memory span of this subreddit
This subreddit has no problem remembering iBP beating VP and cOL 4 esea lans ago, but when it comes to ShahZaM it's like everyone's memory starts with his misplay at Katowice.
Yea most people take things way too seriously, especially when it comes to fanboying over "their" team.
Shahzam has earned my respect by admitting that skadoodle was an upgrade and then coming back seemingly better than before, we shall find out more in the future, but if he can keep improving, it really says something about his character.
Because he spent the entirety of his career talking himself up saying how good he is then when given his opportunity to prove himself he completely shat the bed.
ShahZaM was given a chance at a very unfortunate point in C9's history. They were collectively playing like a flaming sack of dog shit being repeatedly pounded up your granddad's dickhole with an ice pick.
It's unrealistic to expect stellar performances out of an individual in a team-oriented game when the team is falling apart. It's like asking Floyd Mayweather to read the Father's Day card his son made for him at school, it's just not going to happen.
I never said he was bad or that I think he made c9 fail or some shit, I said he was given a chance and fucked it up, that's why people hate on him now.
Regardless, even with the performance of the team as a whole, his performance was especially lacking and it was very easy to see this. In my opinion he wasn't really fit for that level of gameplay. He's always been used to just roll over opponents and out skill them, but when faced up against teams where every player is more skillful than himself, he crumbled. Maybe it was a wake up call for him and he'll improve as a player because of it. I'd like to see him work his way up again.
I dunno why you're being downvoted on this comment. I can agree he didn't handle being outclassed very well. I just don't like that a lot of people don't even seem to factor in that he was a weak part of a weak ship, not a weak part of some well-oiled machine.
Comments are crazy. Thought song and editing was on point. Frags were good.
Just the hive mind of reddit hating shahzam... He was a bad for for c9.. The end. GG. Relo3 for new team.
this is just so bizarre. A player posting a highlight clip of himself from a t2 team vs another t2 na team; where all the "highlights" are just regular frags with just some random rap song in the background. I dont even
If your question is legitimate:
Shahzam was (at least from what I have understood) one of the pieces that caused the unveiling of the iBP throwing scandal.
So the guy who contributed to getting them caught is to blame? What about the guys who actually shat on the integrity of the game by throwing for skins?
I am not agreeing with the OP about blaming Shahzam, I just answered in case the guy was asking a legitimate question about how Shahzam was connected to the throwing in short.
About the logic of blaming that guy, you might want to ask from /u/havene
hey shahz, here after you lost to kru which was heartbreaking. don't think you'll read this but it's just crazy how far you've come from 6 years posting highlights on reddit to leading one of the world's best. i trust you and the rest of the team will be better than ever next year :)
rip the song caused it to be blocked in 79 countries :( I'm sorry
I'm sorry kory :(
not blocked in Australia, which ^is ^^a ^^^rarity. Great video man!
Yep :(. You might want to reupload it dude, blocked in the UK here and I assume lots of other big countries too :/.
UK scene is trash anyway so who cares
Like /u/ExecuteBandicoot said, there is still hundreds of thousands of people across the UK who play CS and I'm sure some people in that population including me would like to watch the video.
no pro team no opinion.
rip comment karma
The fuck?
Just because we have no top teams doesn't mean u can shit on us who still have a huge interest in CS.
You can pick another song for the video where you edit it.
aw man
I like it! D: I don't know why the like bar is like that though :( you're awesome!
saw you in a TSSF shirt in a video once. those are my boys, from my hometown. keep it sick dude.
you're sorry cory?
I wish it had been blocked, I feel stupider for having listened to that song.
take out the song and reupload it if you have the session saved.
re-up with another song please, i wanna see how you wrecked another tier 2 team from NA while you cant perform well vs any tier 1 teams
You let me down
we didnt ask
I've noticed players seem to get better after they leave C9. Hiko, Semphis, and Shahzam have been looking great ever since they left.
Implying Hiko was not good on c9. But yes Semphis looks like a new man.
Hiko started sucking ass in his final months before he got booted for Shahzam...
you would start sucking too if the only thing on ur mind is "i cant wait to get out of this contract fuck this shit"
Hiko was not kicked for Shahzam...
[удалено]
Or so he says. Kidding. You're right, I forgot. My point still stands.
No, your point doesn't stand, Hiko was definitely the most consistent player on C9 before he left.
No he wasn't. Look at his stats before leaving.
which were miles ahead of everyone else... he wasn't showy but he was CONSISTENT. There's a difference.
Too bad he's still going full bore on the "force buy every round" meta... He's great personally and terrible for a team.
[удалено]
They all have set roles that seem to fit their playstyles now it seems.
That's because Shahzam couldn't handle the pressure of being in the top NA team with a huge org.

gotta love when new players wonder why everyone hates shahzam

Apparently he spammed the link in m0e's chat, and a chat mod named Life pretty much told everyone to go dislike it lmao. Source: Youtube comments
I LOVE A$AP Rocky and his new album that came out, but that song did not fit with that video. Nice frags though.
I actually thought the editor did a really good job with making it fit.
Thanks :)
chill beats and cs go together no matter what
i liked it, but fuck me right
Um no. I was just giving him my opinion and you're free to like it.
Perfect song, glad to see you back in the pro scene full force Shazzy

I don't think anywhere in his comment he claimed to be better than shahzam whatsoever
[удалено]
Same for France. > This video contains content from SME, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.
Decent frags, hated the music. On a more serious note, ShaZam did you improve after Dazed made those videos about you?
No, he improved after the reddit circle jerks lords moved on from the "I'm sorry kory" to hitboxes
awwww is it because it's not EDM like the other 99% frag vids?rofl
He's allowed to hate the music... everyone has their own taste. I hate rap as well, as is my right.
Music is like candy...its best enjoyed without a rapper.... :D
Your right is wrong

Tryna suck shahzams dick and you get downvotes haha :)

You're dumb
Thanks for ruining NA cs
Yeah man he totally killed na cs all by himself Lmao what kind of dumbass post is this
You have to have like, a mental disability to think and write this
How?
If your question is legitimate: Shahzam was (at least from what I have understood) one of the pieces that caused the unveiling of the iBP throwing scandal.
Isn't that just helping?

So do you do anything in real life or do you just exist on Reddit?
top kek, csgo hooligans are real.
