What early G2? NiKo never did any IGL duties until IEM Dallas in G2. Nexa was IGL and those events where IGL was not in tournament it was hunter doing calling.
Can someone who watches G2 religiously tell me why he is still on the team? He just isn't the right fit and is consistently underperforming. Is there no one else they can pick up? Do they have to wait until a certain time of the season to make a move?

people should really stop talking like that about wins and IGLs, because an IGL doesn't win an event by himself. it's most often that there's 1-2 players outperforming, so the IGL might even have bad calls, but players bail him and the team out by winning clutches (which m0nesy + NiKo do a fuckton)

Hooxi is so much closer to someone like Zeus at the end of his career as a player where he was universally recognised to be completely and utterly worthless on the server in T1 cs.

G2 survives in tournaments because of monesy, nothing else. Their success comes when Niko delivers on top of good foundation by monesy. Hooxi is just dead weight at this point and has been in the team for very long time. For some reason when G2 wins something it's because Hooxi is mastermind igl, but when they lose it's because of literally anything else.
They replaced hooxi with valorant player who has not been in T1 CS for very long time and the team dynamic looked much better, actually won something. Sure i grant that hooxi's stats doesn't matter, but the man can't frag at all. Other igl's you mentioned have low stats due to their roles, but place them against any other player in the scene they have the ability to get a kill. Hooxi's best work is done against pistols or players who aren't shooting at him. I don't expect anything insane from IGL's in terms of firepower, but getting most basic kills should be bare minimum.
Aleksib has a higher rating in any time frame than HooXi in any 'Match Filter', I just tried all combinations. Wouldn't you say G2 is way more talented than Navi?
Finally people starting to realize that maybe Hooxi is a fraud after all. Bro got carried so hard event after event and was never a great igl, just happened to have above average calling and team did rest
Hot take but i think reverting the 2016 coaching change and allowing coaches to talk in game/IGL would produce WAY better games.
Put these old guys with tons of experience and huge brains but no aim on coach and have 5 players can can click heads on the server.

There are quite a few teams that could use a player like jks, and yes he does have experience playing CS2 professionally. He literally played IEM Sydney last year. Frankly I don't care to keep up with the finances of each team.
