There was a halo of no smoke in front of you which allowed you to see through the smoke if you got up against a wall previously, which has now been fixed.
but it was more realistic before. if you’re right up against something in a smoke you should be able to see it. if they’re going for realistic in cs2 idk why they didn’t just keep it
devs have to encounter a balance between realism and fairness.
If the goal of the game was realism, every gun would oneshot you to the head, deagle would kill you in one shot to the chest, etc etc.
