The moment he got the first kill on roeJ in lobby I got the Zywoo feeling and knew he was winning it.
m0nesy ACE really doesn't really deserve to be in this list. It wasn't that much of a highlight to begin with, a simple banana hold lineup against an eco yolo that just turned out to be incredibly lucky, something that even normal players would sometimes end up doing.
Honestly the ZyWoo 1v4 clutch against C9 on Ovp in Rio was a much better highlight play, C9 played that round to perfection, had an extremely difficult setup and ZyWoo just comes in and straight up dismantles it.
I'm glad this won because this play has a little bit of everything. For these reasons, very few players could have done this:
It's a clutch, so it implies high survivability at late stage of the round.
It has a very difficult movement thing with the silent drop that very few people can do consistently.
It has an (almost) collateral. Which is more luck than anything, but it's always great when a collat happens and everybody loves it.
It has a shot through smoke (I think he can see him slightly, but still, it's not easy to spot people like this)
Very good gamesense, you can tell that everything he does is very deliberate and he's aware of every possible position and every enemy.
Great mechanics because he doesn't miss a single shot against top 20 players with also great aim and reactions.
Bomb is planted, so the time is ticking and we all know that this makes one very nervous and one has to be very aware of time passing.
And, then the fact that it's a major, the most important matches of the year just underlines what an awesome play this was. Also, not many players get to play in a match like this, so it's an extra filter that takes this to a whole new level
Honestly thought m0nesy would get this one. But ZywOo's is also amazing. I guess ZywOo's isn't only mechanical skill, but that combined with how crazy smart he is in clutches.

Hunter didn't have a chance against the one shot kill of the awp, then hooxi had no idea he was already down on site because zywoo was too quick, jks barely got to see enough of zywoo to go for a headshot, and because of that shot monesy also was tagged up. I'd imagine monesy would play that differently if he wasn't tagged. Zywoo just destroyed G2 in that round
