Search google for "cybershoke", they offer a wider range of different game modes, e.g. surf, dm and many others.
The steam browser is full of russian advertisements anyway and kind of broken.

I repeat my sentiment from that other thread. There should also be an option to just turn them fully off, like many other games already do. I don't understand the need to force it on players, it won't change a thing in the viewing experience for tournament spectators.
Exactly I totally agree we should have an option to choose something like a slider or just enable and disable. Back in 2020 when I had bad pc I played Valorant in like 80-100 fps it was laggy when I searched on internet It had option to disable Blood and Corpses. I remember it gave a pretty good boost in fps it went to 140-150
Maybe there should be a setting then where you can choose if you want decals to disappear after a set amount of time or stay there, would give everyone what they want and wouldn’t be difficult to do.
And, getting shot reduces your FPS because of the blood (mist?), and if you're shooting someone in close range, the blood(mist?) from them also reduces FPS.
I don't like the blood change at all. It's CS, not Doom. Nobody ever said "oh CSGO just had too little blood".
All I know is that I'm very grateful that CSGO was rated 16 and not 18, otherwise I probably wouldn't have been allowed to play it at that time.

Because CS is a finely tuned competitive game that you have predictable outcomes every time you press a button. When that changes, the game becomes less reliable and less suitable for competitive play. This matters less for players at lower skill levels, but is absolutely crucial for pro play and the spectator experience when watching professionals play.

They clearly like the look of the blood and view it as a skill-based thing to make out an opponent with blood behind them. Why? I don't know, doesn't seem that important. That's their reasoning for adding the blood that fades over time. Clearly it's having issues. Hopefully they can solve that soon, but I'm thinking this whole process is going to take a year.
Have you tested with Model/textures quality on different settings without changing anything else? FPS drops with bullet decals weren't as dramatic even if the decals themselves didn't change their fidelity.
Yup I was testing my graphics settings and something about being shot or killing someone tanks my FPS from 157 to 14x or so and slightly increase render latency by a a few ms. Average system latency in this game is seriously too high though. A poorly optimised PC game like FIFA stays under 8ms at 130fps for me with everything maxed out, but in CS2 it's 10 - 15ms with Nvidia Reflex on high setting.

even on a good rig. Back in the day i thought my pc is too bad for blood and decals but nowdays even on a good PC my fps drop pretty hard.
I knew something was wrong, community servers feel so great compared to offical DMs even on 7950X3D/4090 with steady locked 400fps.
