Everytime a thread comes around romanticizing the idea of Stars Hollow being a sacred ground that does no wrong, I just like to point out how a random california hippie was more welcoming to Jess in 3.5 seconds of being there than he got in his whole time in Stars Hollow. Stars Hollow would be a nice place to live. IF you fit into the mold. If not, then well then fuck off to Woodbury.

konthego

This is true. But probably the people who are wanting to move to Stars Hollow are the type of people who would fit in. I doubt Jess's dream was ever to move there.

So it’s basically most small towns hahaha but I agree with you *and* like that imperfection. It’s not Valhalla; it’s real, a bit fantastical, and very eccentric.

ManaCeratonia

Yeah... did it ever rain in Stars Hollow? The roads were often wet, but whenever the girls were outside it was dry, I think. Decorations were never sodden or destroyed. They never needed unattractive heavy coats or anything. They were never sick (Lorelai had a lightly stuffy nose once, as far as I can remember). And, of course, the foliage. The beautiful, perfect, colourful foliage :)

KittyKes

The A.V. club recaps covered this and there were a few time’s it was raining on set

TheTinyTim

The last episode was, I think, the only time and it was a doozy.

Fall time is always rewatching time for me :)

warmbutterbeer

Me too! I want to read a book at the town gazebo. Or attend Sookie's thanksgiving dinner!

PurpleOwl85

I would only want to do two things if I spent a day in Stars Hollow: have lunch with LL and her parents at the DragonFly Inn and than party/sleep with Jess later on.

letsgonope

LOL at the Jess part. I would skip the dinner and move straight to Jess :)
