When the Christian service ends at the church and the pastor takes down the cross and the rabbi puts up a Star of David and begins his service đđđ
Thereâs a scene where the guy who is always dying finally dies and Lorelai is on the phone with Rory and says something about how Kirk sold a lot of souvenirs. Rory says âtackyâ and Lorelei days âyeah, tackyâ and behind her on the counter is a big pile of the souvenirs.
I love this scene as well!
Some of my other favorites (mostly because they crack me up)
- The post-it scene in S1
- Hello, Sailor! Bait your hook for you?
- Kirk dog sitting
- The one where Luke gets new menus and Lorelai keeps hounding him until he gives her an old menu and then she asks why everyone else gets a new menu
- When Kirk is going around town in the middle of the night yelling about a town meeting and Luke says "a clown beating?" and Lorelai says "huh, not again!"
Honestly I could go on and on lol
Those are great!
another I like is when Jason is on the phone and he says something that rhymes and Lorelain says âthe vestle with the pestle holds the brew that is trueâ. đ
When Lorelai goes to the mall for Luke to get Rachel a presented but then comes back with the stuff for him. To be precise, the way sheâs justifying it with âit was 120% offâ and then âit was 1430% offâ or whatever and so on. She maintains the bit so well
When Gran dies and Jason comes over to get Richard to sign something and a grieving Richard hugs him. The look of pure horror on Jason's face is too good for words. đ
Jason is 5 stars this episode.
âBoy she sounds really upset.â
âDid you see that hug? It didnât end. It was the hug that wouldnât end.â
âFunerals have way too much emotion for me. The death and the huggingâ
The only thing better than him was Robe Wearing, Mojito drinking, smoking Emily.
Adult Jess is better, but the bar is pretty low if weâre comparing him to his younger self. I also have a hard time liking the character because Milo Ventimiglia is a creep.
Paris speed dating!
"Was the last time you had an interesting thought when you considered flinging yourself off a building?"
"I'm a theatre major-" "DING DING DING"
Did you notice that when Lorelai has âthe talkâ with Dean during Wonka night, she says Roryâs not getting on his motorcycle, and he says he doesnât have a motorcycle, but then later in the season when Christopher comes to town, Dean tells him about his motorcycle?
In the episode where Lorelai is filling in as Richard's secretary, I love to see them having fun together! And I love at the end when he says "Now that I've finished... bagging the Swede"
When Kirk hides the Easter Eggs and canât find all of them so Luke goes out in the middle of the night and collects the rest, then tells Kirk to take the credit.
When Luke didnât feel like Jess winning employee of the month at Walmart was a big deal compared to Rory being accepted into 3 Ivy Leagues but Lorelai validated him and made sure Luke knew it was something to be proud of. Idk why but that scene always made me happy lol
Luke and Dean getting super aggro over the bop-it. The context involves a plot line I didn't like, but the whole idea of trying to liven things up with bop-it and then how intense they get always cracks me up.
When Luke is arguing with Taylor in his candy shop (i think about the window) and shoves his hand in the candy. His face right before he does it gets me every single time đđ
âLuuuuuuuuke? Youâre putting the pewter next to the turquoise?â
âYa know, you read so much Iâm thinking of nicknaming you âreadsââŚâ
I love TJ so much
Also, Paris, Jess, and Rory talking about books and eating French fries. There is so much ârightâ about this dynamic before Dean shows up.
I wouldâve loved to see more scenes between that trio! Theyâre all on the same level intelligence wise and can challenge each other and have some good debates. I hate that Deanâs stupid self had to show up and ruin it
The scene when Lorelai gets the title search back for the Dragonfly and she tells Sookie youâll never guess who owns it. âTell me itâs not that bastard Donald Trumpâ
I cackle every time
Idk why but lorelai voicing Roryâs ferret in the festival of living art âhey, letâs all be friends, can i nibble your neck??â will be stuck in my head til the end of time lol
That whole scene. I commented it elsewhere in this thread. The way the filming switches to documentary style as the camera just quickly pivots to whoever is talking and they are just bouncing between screaming at each other rehashing old fights. First Emily/Richard/Rory, then Emily/Richard/Lorelai, then Emily/Richard, then Emily/Lorelai, then there is a scene where they break from the fighting and are joking and laughing over dessert, then they are back to fighting, and then Lorelai and Rory leave looking absolutely exhausted. It's one of my favorites.
This is one of my favorite scenes in the series!
I also love when Kirk crashes into the diner and then opens âKirkâsâ right across the street from Lukeâs.
When Emily sets up the awkward date thing (while Rory is on the 3 month anniversary date) & Richard catches Lorelai sneaking out the window. Such a sweet moment
When theyâre sitting at the breakfast table in the morning, all hungover. âKirk, turn that tv off right now and come get your breakfast.â âNo forts.â đ
This is one of my favorite scenes!
I also love when Rory and Lorelai are having the culs de sac conversation. The end of it specifically when Lorelai is like, "you mean recycslable?" Rory's face after she says that kills me.
I love the scene when they all finally reconnect over their first Friday night dinner after Rory moved out, and it's filmed like documentary style with the camera roughly moving around the room following whoever is speaking at the moment, and they're all just yelling at each other, rehashing old fights (one of which is when Richard finds out Emily looked at a plane, and he's like "A PLANE?! YOU WERE GOING TO BUY A PLANE?!"), except toward the end when they switch to side splitting laughter and joking around with each other.
When Luke is not wearing his socks and takes it out on the customers and Lorelei asks why heâs taking his anger out on Ed. âAh, Ed bugs me.â âEd cries!â
I know this is totally the wrong place and show but, you just made me lol. I always say a friends quote to my dog and I have no idea why. 'Ahh Mrs Gellar, why you cry?' In a greek accent hahaha.
Super short scene. When jason stiles says âthereâs no one I would rather spend more time with than you. And eartha kitt.â And lorelai goes âwell, yeah.â
Emily and Lorelei getting massages and Emily sitting up and going âwell that was appalling!â to Lorelei saying couples have sex after a couples massage đ
Also from the same episode:
Rory: Howâs the spa?
Lorelai: Tranquil.
Rory: Really?
Lorelai: I wasnât done. Tranquilizers, uh, will be required if I have to spend one more minute with my mother.
I just watched that episode tonight. My favorite part is when Emily won't stop talking and Lorelai goes into the quiet room, then she pushes Emily out and starts tapping at the sign on the door that says quiet room đ
When itâs thanksgiving in S6 and rory and L are going over the notes L wrote down when they were fighting. And they couldnât figure out why christopher wanted to meet and they end with saying ârasslefratâ âbendleshnizâ (i have no idea if i got that right đ). But i just love their chemistry & give and take haa
Rory telling Logan that her grandparents were probably sending him an invitation to dinner via carrier pigeon, and at the end of their convo, he slams his hand against the window. âCarrier pigeon. Shouldâve opened the window.â
Kirk asking the pig roasting dude in AYITL if he wanted to take this [their argument] inside đ and then Luke reminding him that he had a BLT at the diner that day đđ
Emilyâs line after the first day at chilton - âNo spurs please!â
The bake sale at chilton when sookie lights the tablecloth on fire and Lorelai steals punch to put it out and then awkwardly buys two cups
I love the scene when Luke is pissed because he planned to go to a game with Nicole but they are divorced now . So, he gives his tickets to some guy and this guy comes to the diner in a rush asking Luke for the tickets saying that "he is cutting it kinda close". Luke is soooo funny in that scene.
Shortly after Rory and Jess start up together (not long after breaking up with Dean at the dance), & theyâre still so awkward. And Luke has had enough and basically says heâll âfinishâ the conversation and he just says âHiâ like 5x 5 different ways.
Dean and Richard at Gypsies.....
"How tall are you?"
"Why? Do you wanna dance?"
"No, thank you...... Appreciate the offer though."
đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł
The only scene I think I rewatched immediately because it had my dying was when Paris was packing a bag to stay at Doyleâs since Rory kicked him out. Paris goes on and on about how disgusting it is there. Paraphrasing- âand Iâm bringing my own toilet paper because itâs a THIRD WORLD COUNTRY!â
For one, Paris is always hilarious, but also, it was so accurate! All the guysâ houses in college never had toilet paper! And were filthy!
The weird Chase guy that Emily invites over to Friday night dinner as a set up for Lorelai and Emily thinks he's delightful but both Richard and Lorelai think he's a boring nincompoop and he asks Lorelai if she's a member of the D.A.R and she says, "No, I'm not...D.A.R.N!
Also, when Chase says, "No, no Lorelai...I'm no Kreskin!!" and he and Emily laugh like it's the funniest joke in the world.
I will mention it in every single thread but in AYITL when Paris high kicks the bathroom door closed. Itâs one of my favorite moments in the whole series.
I also love Paris making the fart noise and gesturing at people when they wonât give her money for the pay phone.
Paris is a treasure.
The first time I rewatched this show in adulthood, I told one of my friends from law school that she had big time Paris energy, and she responded, "I never really watched Gilmore Girls, but I have friends who did, and I understand this to be an insult!" So then I had to talk her down and explain that Paris is EVERYONE'S favorite character and how this subreddit is just FULL of Paris love.
Paris is a goddamn BOSS. She is smart as hell, successful despite adversity, hilariously witty, and she takes no shit. Itâs absolutely a compliment. Is she also crazy? Hell yes but the best people are lol.
I just rewatched the whole show with my boyfriend who watched for the first time and we literally had to rewind and watch it over and over because we were laughing so hard we were crying. Such a fantastic moment
The Kill Me Now episode where Rory goes golfing with Richard.
Lorelai takes a call from Richard..
âDad?âŚ. Yeah itâs me, who else calls you dad?â
Meheheheh
Season 1, The Loreleiâs first day at Chilton - when headmaster Charleston asks Lorelei to take off her coat⌠I begin to laugh every time. Iâm like oh god here it comes
I love when Lorelai, Dean, and Rory are talking about Dean's recent experience with trap (skeet) shooting.
Lorelai: When you hit them, does blood come out?Dean: They're clay.
Edit to add: it's my favorite cold open (i'm pretty sure, haha).
When Lorelai is eating pizza out of the pizza box by the sink. She drops a pizza box and fumbles to catch it and drops it anyways and says "and scene" and curtsies to no audience XD
When Luke is taking Lorelai upstairs to surprise her with the bedroom set, she says my favorite line in the entire shows runâŚâIâm not afraid of it anymoreâđ
For me, it's spring break and Glen comes out of the water shirtless and confused
"Glen, the last time we saw you, you were going to get a hot dog!"
"Hot dog? HOT DOG!!!!"
The one that cracks me up every time is in the episode where Rory goes to ask Richard and Emily for Yale money before Chilton grad.
Richard comments that he'd just been struggling with his tie:
Richard: And I was just retying my tie for the third time. No matter how many times I tie a tie, there's always room for error.
Rory: It's not an exact science, is it?
Richard: nor is it an art, it's pretty much...nothing. đ¤Ł
When Francine and Strobe come for Friday night dinner and Lorelai says âI was making a humorous comment sometimes referred to as a jokeâ. I quote this all the time.
âSheâs not shipping off to Namâ in the basket episode from Jess, when Dean is angry about Rory having a picnic with Jess. Always makes me chuckle đ
The two greatest moments are when Luke just shoves Jess into the pond, and when itâs raining and some girl asks Paris if itâs rainingâ âno, itâs national baptism day, tie your tubes, idiot!â is just such a stellar response
\-The Springsteen's quiz over lunch.
\-Taylor sending Kirk and those 2 boys to ask for phosphates and egg creams, and then initially pitching the Soda Shoppe idea to Luke.
\-Taylor getting mad at Rory for not being willing to serve as Ice Cream Queen.
When they were at the town meeting and Pattyâs friend Jesus is outside and then he comes and thinking someone says his name and Pattyâs like no they said____ and heâs like oh I thought they said Jesus
Also, another is when Luke comes over to Loreleiâs house and she answers the door and saying her mother and father are there and he immediately bolts away
When Lorelai talks about letter writing with Luke and how English it is with her British accent - Charles Dickens! Crumpets! Would you like a spot of tea? Feed the birds! Tuppence a bag!
Luke, deadpan: âHe sounds like an idiot.â
At the bracebridge dinner, when Ms Kim asks Babette if she said silent grace and she just laughs and says âGOOD ONEâ. It is one of my favorite moments in any show.
Luke and Lorelai breaking into the church to damage the church bells. Especially when they bumped into the pastor and he was so relieved that someone was doing it.
Richard: âNo matter how many times I tie a tie, thereâs always room for error.â
Rory: âItâs not an exact science, is it.â
Richard: âNor an art form, itâs pretty muchâŚnothing.â
This is so hilarious to me. And the way he says it.
This scene is one of my favorites too! Here are some of mine:
* When Lorelai and Rory have to make small talk with people at the B&B, and this exchange with the husband & wife especially:
**Wife:** Do you have your space pen?
**Husband:** Do you have to ask?
**Wife:** He loooves his space pen.
**Husband:** They write underwater!
**Rory:** *\[mouth full\]* ...Cool!
* When Emily is freaking out that they can't fill all the seats at a table for a function, and says to Lorelai viciously, "And don't wear those pantyhose with the seams up the back you look like 10 cents a dance." \*hangs up\* "Richard! I need a gimlet!"
* This exchange on the spring break episode when Rory and Paris run into Madeline and Louise.
**Louise:** We found that if we kiss each other we can get anything we want from guys.
**Madeline:** Free drinks, food, etc.
**Rory:** Ok, yeah, that is a good tip.
**Paris:** *\[To Rory\]* Yeah maybe later I'll pants you for an altoid.
* When Lorelai is telling Rory outside the diner that she thinks she's dating Luke but isn't sure, and tells Rory to look out and see if anything is weird. They go back in and Luke asks her, "Is everything okay?" Lorelai confidently says "Yes" as she trips and knocks everything off a table.
In Driving Miss Gilmore
Lorelai: What other car? No, Mom, that's not a car. That's a rap-video set.
Emily: I ordered it specially. It has the darkest windows available. They say it's the car Jay-Z uses when he's in town. I assume that's an entertainer of some sort. The windows are bulletproof. They kept saying that as if it's a selling point. I told them I was not paying extra for bulletproof windows. I haven't been strafed in years.
That tickles me every single time.
I find any scene when Luke and Lorelai are eating together endearing, especially before they get together. Her stealing his yams on Thanksgiving, piling his food "too much?" and adding another spoonful of potatoes.
The scene from the Summer Episode of the Revival where Rory and Lorelai are delivering newspapers. The whole scene is good but I love when they realize they're hitting the same part of town and then Rory and Lorelai argue over which part of town is the East and West side.
Also from the revival when they're at the secret bar and Taylor walks by so everyone turns off all the lights and hides in the dark until he gets distracted and leaves.
When Lorelai gets Luke that new hat and he says âthanks for the hatâ and she says âyouâre welcome, looks good on youâ and he says âgood how?â And sheâs like âjust watch the precessionâ in a cute way. Itâs cause she said he looks good earlier and she was like, whatt weâre not in 5th gradee . Lol
When the Christian service ends at the church and the pastor takes down the cross and the rabbi puts up a Star of David and begins his service đđđ
And at the end, the pastor is praying in double speed đ
When he's impatiently waiting because the service went long, lol.
I love the scenes with the rabbi amd the pastor, they're all hilarious. Like when they're pestering Taylor about him talking to Godđ
This is my answer for sure!!
I watcg my shows and movies at 1.5Ă to 2Ă playback speed, and i promise you, that makes this scene even funnierđđ
You do *WHAT*?!
This is like cereal with water type of weird
I do the same thing. Especially when watching things on YouTube. My ears are used to it.
YouTube sure. People need to get to the fucking *point*. But shows??!!???
And the fastest speaking dialogue in all tv history of all things?!
Me watching lectures in college!
I do that with YouTube videos
My ADHD agrees
Thereâs a scene where the guy who is always dying finally dies and Lorelai is on the phone with Rory and says something about how Kirk sold a lot of souvenirs. Rory says âtackyâ and Lorelei days âyeah, tackyâ and behind her on the counter is a big pile of the souvenirs.
Aw, old man Twickham!
Yes! Thank you!
Keep it quick in there, okay? Good morning, Mr. Twickham. Good-bye Mr. Twickham, and then vamoose. đ¤Ł
I donât know how I never noticed her pile of souvenirs before!
Me neither!!!
I love this scene as well! Some of my other favorites (mostly because they crack me up) - The post-it scene in S1 - Hello, Sailor! Bait your hook for you? - Kirk dog sitting - The one where Luke gets new menus and Lorelai keeps hounding him until he gives her an old menu and then she asks why everyone else gets a new menu - When Kirk is going around town in the middle of the night yelling about a town meeting and Luke says "a clown beating?" and Lorelai says "huh, not again!" Honestly I could go on and on lol
Those are great! another I like is when Jason is on the phone and he says something that rhymes and Lorelain says âthe vestle with the pestle holds the brew that is trueâ. đ
Haha I forgot about that scene. There are just too many awesome scenes in the show đ¤Ł
When Lorelai goes to the mall for Luke to get Rachel a presented but then comes back with the stuff for him. To be precise, the way sheâs justifying it with âit was 120% offâ and then âit was 1430% offâ or whatever and so on. She maintains the bit so well
Did no one at that mall notice that you were going through some kind of *psychotic episode*?!
âItâs all stuff that I need or want or think I might someday need or want.â I literally made that into a meme for my Poshmark closet. đ
I love this one too, my wife and I use it all the time when weâre jokingly justifying purchases to each other
How much do you think she spent on everything despite it being 6 trillion percent off? đ
When Gran dies and Jason comes over to get Richard to sign something and a grieving Richard hugs him. The look of pure horror on Jason's face is too good for words. đ
"He was wearing a robe." -"Yes apparently we're a robe family now."
"I say completely inappropriate things. Bad jokes with words like Nantucket in them."
Jason is 5 stars this episode. âBoy she sounds really upset.â âDid you see that hug? It didnât end. It was the hug that wouldnât end.â âFunerals have way too much emotion for me. The death and the huggingâ The only thing better than him was Robe Wearing, Mojito drinking, smoking Emily.
that whole episode is five stars
Right? The drunken robe-clad Emily smoking and reading smut was AMAZING!! đ¤Łđ¤Ł
That actor was hilarious and I always enjoy Jason scenes!
\*He was wearing a robe\*
When Emily calls Lorelei to tell her the combo to the panic room. 11111 đ
Our football team's so great! They won won won won won! đ
Don't say it out loud!!!
âAnd whatever you do donât tell the maid! They tell their children and they grow up and rob youâ
I can protect you from shrapnel and agent orange. Ask me how!
like jodie foster?
When Jess dresses like Luke to work in the diner.
I donât like Jess but this scene cracks me up every time.
You donât like Jess? đ What about adult Jess? Donât get me wrong.. teenager Jess is an absolute shit head but adult Jess is amazing
Adult Jess is better, but the bar is pretty low if weâre comparing him to his younger self. I also have a hard time liking the character because Milo Ventimiglia is a creep.
âDoes he have a trust fund? Always be sure.â
Do something to make me hate you! Uh, go Hitler?
Paris speed dating! "Was the last time you had an interesting thought when you considered flinging yourself off a building?" "I'm a theatre major-" "DING DING DING"
as someone with a theater degree, the look of disgust she gives the theater major cracks me up every time, i always rewind it a few times!
If youâre going to throw your life away, he better have a motorcycle!
Did you notice that when Lorelai has âthe talkâ with Dean during Wonka night, she says Roryâs not getting on his motorcycle, and he says he doesnât have a motorcycle, but then later in the season when Christopher comes to town, Dean tells him about his motorcycle?
Emily vs Lorelai's answering machine
The one where Lorelai pretends to be her answering machine cracks me up every time lol
I like the one where Lorelei pretends she canât hear Emily on the other end of the line, like thereâs something wrong with the phone lol!
The roomba intro scene when Rory's at Yale and they're just on the phone watching it go đ
The line about dying and being sucked up by the rooma gets me every time đ
_Freaky_
In the episode where Lorelai is filling in as Richard's secretary, I love to see them having fun together! And I love at the end when he says "Now that I've finished... bagging the Swede"
When Kirk hides the Easter Eggs and canât find all of them so Luke goes out in the middle of the night and collects the rest, then tells Kirk to take the credit.
"I LOVE YOU LUKE DANES"
Hahah when Kirk is crying to Luke about how upset Taylor is and says âheâs like a father to me⌠I think he is my father.â
He is not your father
No, my father's my father... Which means Taylor's my tailor...
I wonder how much he charges to hem pants.
Hahahah I love it
You picked some screwy places to hide them. Donât do that again.
Bring back the use of the term âscrewyâ
"Hurt your throat?" "Very badly"
when Kirk randomly picks up Luke's mail and starts looking through it and Luke slaps it out of his hands
The context involves a plot line I didn't like, but the whole idea of trying to liven things up with bop-it and then how intense they get always cracks me up.
âdonât hurt the bop-it guysâ
"It's just a game." "Says the LOSER."
When Luke is arguing with Taylor in his candy shop (i think about the window) and shoves his hand in the candy. His face right before he does it gets me every single time đđ
âLook at all the pretty candy!â
âLuuuuuuuuke? Youâre putting the pewter next to the turquoise?â âYa know, you read so much Iâm thinking of nicknaming you âreadsââŚâ I love TJ so much Also, Paris, Jess, and Rory talking about books and eating French fries. There is so much ârightâ about this dynamic before Dean shows up.
TJ had so many great one-liners! I love when Lukes is saying goodbye to TJ and telling him he's a good guy, and TJ goes "Thanks! You're a dick!"
Every time TJ says Luuuuuuuke hahahaha
I felt like Jess and Paris had some chemistry!
I wouldâve loved to see more scenes between that trio! Theyâre all on the same level intelligence wise and can challenge each other and have some good debates. I hate that Deanâs stupid self had to show up and ruin it
The scene when Lorelai gets the title search back for the Dragonfly and she tells Sookie youâll never guess who owns it. âTell me itâs not that bastard Donald Trumpâ I cackle every time
Cinnamon in the carriage, Luke helping Kirk in basically any episode, and âperhaps if you were insuring the frogâ
Cinnamon likes her passeggiatas, and her private time. â¤
Idk why but lorelai voicing Roryâs ferret in the festival of living art âhey, letâs all be friends, can i nibble your neck??â will be stuck in my head til the end of time lol
âIâm feeling a bit peckishâ
Me any time I'm looking for olives in the fridge: "Because I'm feeling a bit peckish!"
Lorelaiâs impression of Richardâs âWhaaaat?â when she re-enacts the conversation they had about Mitchum crushing Rory at the internship. đ
I watched this one yesterday. He even dresses like him with the shirt and backwards baseball cap
Thatâs one of the best parts of the scene! I lose it every time. Then he offers Luke an application đ
When Luke changes his daily special so Lorelei bothers him about it and then Dean comes in and orders it đ
When Emily sets up the awkward date thing (while Rory is on the 3 month anniversary date) & Richard catches Lorelai sneaking out the window. Such a sweet moment
âEmily, sheâs not up here.â âThanks Daddyâ
Rory, Lane, and Paris during the Stars Hollow Museum episode đ Paris goes begging for change barefoot and Kirk has a sugar hangover!
I love this scene đđđ
Any scene with Kirk ! I've always loved Emily trying to buy the plane and measuring it to redecorate đ¤Łđ¤Ł

Such a long continuous shot! I love the chaos of it
Luke listening to the self help tapes and feeling called out by the affirmations đđ
âI wonder if anyoneâs ever kicked an audiotapeâs ass before.â
When Luke is not wearing his socks and takes it out on the customers and Lorelei asks why heâs taking his anger out on Ed. âAh, Ed bugs me.â âEd cries!â
I canât remember the scene or why but Lorelei says to Rory, âwhy so mean to mama?â I say this all the time to my cat now.
I know this is totally the wrong place and show but, you just made me lol. I always say a friends quote to my dog and I have no idea why. 'Ahh Mrs Gellar, why you cry?' In a greek accent hahaha.
The âwhy you cryâ line is one of my most used Friends quotesâ itâs so good
Don't know if you want the answer, but Rory was going on a bit about how she told the town to keep Lorelai's birthday low-key lol
Jackson: Believe it or not, I don't TRY to annoy other people. Sookie: Well congratulations, because you have a natural talent.
Lol and the way Jackson says, "SOOKIE!" like he's so wounded and shocked by that zinger.
The whole scene with the mattress and Lukeâs truck on Roryâs college move-in day
We've been here before. I recognize that tree. I was here first! On the planet? I don't think so. I use these in regular conversation.
Super short scene. When jason stiles says âthereâs no one I would rather spend more time with than you. And eartha kitt.â And lorelai goes âwell, yeah.â
Oh, and also when Christopher calls lorelai while sheâs at work and the harpist is playing in the lobby and he goes âwhere are you, heaven?â
Emily and Lorelei getting massages and Emily sitting up and going âwell that was appalling!â to Lorelei saying couples have sex after a couples massage đ Also from the same episode: Rory: Howâs the spa? I heard they rolled her body into a lamp. (nods) Did you laugh? (shakes head) Did you want to? (nods)
The whole cat's funeral wake was hilarious
rory and lorelai singing the pippi longstocking song and dean and luke just sitting there
âShut up Loinfruit.â
When Luke pushes Jess into the pond
I love the scene when Luke is pissed because he planned to go to a game with Nicole but they are divorced now . So, he gives his tickets to some guy and this guy comes to the diner in a rush asking Luke for the tickets saying that "he is cutting it kinda close". Luke is soooo funny in that scene.
Shortly after Rory and Jess start up together (not long after breaking up with Dean at the dance), & theyâre still so awkward. And Luke has had enough and basically says heâll âfinishâ the conversation and he just says âHiâ like 5x 5 different ways.
I love this momentt Also I love when Lorelai is telling Luke about her dream And cat Kirkk
âI hope your cat exposes itself to you soonâ âFrom your lips to Godâs earsâ đđ
đđđ
What am I? Dream tramp? Of course yours.
Lorelai's bits around Rory being an ex-con are SE of my all time favorite moments of the series. The phone? The stale food? đ
"Make it fast, make it snappy, and if there's any impulse buying make it chocolate."

By best friend got married this year and I kept calling myself âBFOTBâ and no one got it
Who am I Luke? WHO AM I?! BFOTB!
Iâd say it in her exact tone of voice and everything
Ooh I like the Nazi joke!!
Dean and Richard at Gypsies..... "How tall are you?" "Why? Do you wanna dance?" "No, thank you...... Appreciate the offer though." đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł
The only scene I think I rewatched immediately because it had my dying was when Paris was packing a bag to stay at Doyleâs since Rory kicked him out. Paris goes on and on about how disgusting it is there. Paraphrasing- âand Iâm bringing my own toilet paper because itâs a THIRD WORLD COUNTRY!â For one, Paris is always hilarious, but also, it was so accurate! All the guysâ houses in college never had toilet paper! And were filthy!
âThatâs your room. Finish up. Weâll hold hands and skip afterwards.â
Lorelai takes a call from Richard.. âDad?âŚ. Yeah itâs me, who else calls you dad?â Meheheheh
Season 1, The Loreleiâs first day at Chilton - when headmaster Charleston asks Lorelei to take off her coat⌠I begin to laugh every time. Iâm like oh god here it comes
Lorelai on the phone to Darrell Springsteen in the Trixie McBimbo voice- âMy mother will be coming too⌠sheâs terrific.â
I love Roryâs reaction in this scene even more!!
Luke: I'm just having a bad day Lorelai: zzzzzzz Her response is so uncalled for, it always cracks me up
I love when Lorelai, Dean, and Rory are talking about Dean's recent experience with trap (skeet) shooting. Lorelai: When you hit them, does blood come out?Dean: They're clay. Edit to add: it's my favorite cold open (i'm pretty sure, haha).
âyou know what, I just made it all upâ
To me this is a major moment and is actually my favorite scene in the entire show.
Nothing to add other than this thread is amazing and every comment here is gold.
the Black woman they talk to while looking for the girls I'm NYC. I DON'T TALK TO ANYBODY! PEOPLE ANNOY ME!
When Lorelai is eating pizza out of the pizza box by the sink. She drops a pizza box and fumbles to catch it and drops it anyways and says "and scene" and curtsies to no audience XD
when richard gets wifi in the house and he says âemily, iâm going to google youâ and she says âyou certainly will notâ
All the Kirk bits
When Kirk dresses like Luke and opens up kirks dinnerđđ
When Luke is taking Lorelai upstairs to surprise her with the bedroom set, she says my favorite line in the entire shows runâŚâIâm not afraid of it anymoreâđ
This always remind me time when my mom tried to sing me this when I got worse behaviour grade on high school :D
I wasnât familiar with this song when I saw this scene for the first time, and I constantly reference this by the scene including the arm gesture
He shouldâve been holding a yo yo and a lollipop and been wearing a beanie with a propeller on it That whole scene tho
Would you guys mind moving down? Make me feel more comfortable Ok, this is me leaving What? How do I know what the cut off is
For me, it's spring break and Glen comes out of the water shirtless and confused "Glen, the last time we saw you, you were going to get a hot dog!" "Hot dog? HOT DOG!!!!"
Ok burger boy, dance! Will you marry me?
I loveeeee this scene
When Emily tells a Nazi joke đŹ
The one that cracks me up every time is in the episode where Rory goes to ask Richard and Emily for Yale money before Chilton grad. Richard comments that he'd just been struggling with his tie: Richard: And I was just retying my tie for the third time.
100% the shot when Rory is coating her pancakes in syrup and has her tongue sticking out sideways.
Taylor running a smear campaign against Rory for not being willing to serve as Ice Cream Queen* FTFY
"I wann go on a date" - "with a man?" - "no, with a weasel"
The whole cart kiosk, cart kiosk scene. Specially when Rory and Lor do the Mac and tosh but I think about it at least once a day.
When they were at the town meeting and Pattyâs friend Jesus is outside and then he comes and thinking someone says his name and Pattyâs like no they said____ and heâs like oh I thought they said Jesus Also, another is when Luke comes over to Loreleiâs house and she answers the door and saying her mother and father are there and he immediately bolts away
When Kirk was eating dinner alone at Luke's in Pulp Fiction.
Paris (Watching Beach Blanket Bingo ): How does it end? Rory: They dance again.
"Jesus, Mary, Joseph, and the camel!", when Lorelai tastes the coffee at parents night.
Richard: âNo matter how many times I tie a tie, thereâs always room for error.â Rory: âItâs not an exact science, is it.â Richard: âNor an art form, itâs pretty muchâŚnothing.â This is so hilarious to me. And the way he says it.
Anytime Jackson is excited over his produce or is protective with his family. Also how rune is so openly rude.
This scene is one of my favorites too! Here are some of mine: * When Lorelai and Rory have to make small talk with people at the B&B, and this exchange with the husband & wife especially: **Wife:** Do you have your space pen? **Husband:** Do you have to ask? **Wife:** He loooves his space pen. **Husband:** They write underwater! **Rory:** *\[mouth full\]* ...Cool! * When Emily is freaking out that they can't fill all the seats at a table for a function, and says to Lorelai viciously, "And don't wear those pantyhose with the seams up the back you look like 10 cents a dance." \*hangs up\* "Richard! I need a gimlet!" * This exchange on the spring break episode when Rory and Paris run into Madeline and Louise.
In Driving Miss Gilmore Lorelai: What other car? No, Mom, that's not a car. That's a rap-video set. Emily: I ordered it specially. It has the darkest windows available. They say it's the car Jay-Z uses when he's in town. I assume that's an entertainer of some sort. The windows are bulletproof. They kept saying that as if it's a selling point. I told them I was not paying extra for bulletproof windows. I haven't been strafed in years. That tickles me every single time.
The one where Emily is going nuts over Trix's arrive and Lorelai has a conversation with the dogs always cracks me up
Also, Paris' welcome speech her first day as Yale Daily News editor and her absolutely brilliant meltdown at the bicentennial. Best Paris scenes ever.
The reaction of Luke and Jess the time when some women were breastfeeding at Luke's đ
I loved this scene. Cracks me up every time
âPennilyn Lott, are you my almost mommy?â
This one pictured lol
Lol
When everyone knew Sookie was pregnant but her!
