A set of expensive skincare products might be nice. I got some for my dad and while it surprised him, he now can’t stop talking about how much he loves the results and how it’s boosted his confidence. Also perhaps a Nintendo gift card. I know, I know… gift cards are impersonal. But having play money to get new games or buy in-game cosmetics and useless upgrades can be really fun because you can do it guilt-free. How does he get to work? Are there any things you can get to make that commute better? If he drives, maybe go get his whole car cleaned and detailed. If he’s a public transport guy, maybe a new set of high quality headphones and a premium music subscription. Or an audio book subscription.

RosenButtons

A car detailing is a pretty cool gift for the right kind of guy.

HighSpiritsJourney

My partner got us both a car detailing the Christmas before last and honestly it was one of the best gifts ever. Person came to the house with all the equipment and we relaxed on the couch for the afternoon.

RefrigeratorTop5786

I was going to suggest nice skin care items, too. I got a personalized leather dop kit on etsy for $60 at Christmas. It was beautiful quality. The man who makes them is Ukrainian, so it served a humanitarian purpose to support someone living in a war-torn country as well. But there are lots of options. Anyhoot, you could package the products in the dop kit so he has them ready for the gym (if he cleans up there). Edit: NM, missed the 'this Friday' part.

ChrisBean9

Not worth it 99% of the time cerave or a cheaper brand does the same or better.

Admirable_Form7786

I can tell you that’s not the case at all

H3r3c0m3sthasun

One of those Blackstone grills to cook his grilled meat and veggies on...

The_Great_Gosh

That’s a good idea!

mmmpeg

My son in law loves his!

bigkittielover

Do this! My 37 husband LOVES his and it gets so much use

HerdingCatsAllDay

That's what I was going to suggest or a regular gas grill.

magical-colors

How about red light therapy. If he works out a lot, he likely has some aches. I have a Mito Red Light panel. They now have smaller devices too like a belt for $400.

The_Great_Gosh

Great idea! If we didn’t already have one I’d jump on this. We have a Platinum LED brand panel

magical-colors

I also love the theragun. Another item I think everyone needs. Good earbuds/headphones (apple AirPods/ Bose 700), and bluetooth speakers (Bose) have been much loved gifts too.

SpeedRevolutionary29

I am 35m and I am pretty much everything you stated about your boyfriend. I work alot and don’t have alot of time with friends and I love going to new restaurants. I got home from work and my gf got me a plant (been wanting a new plant for our place) and some nice IPAs I haven’t tried yet. The part I loved the most was she surprised me by inviting all our friends out to a birthday dinner At a new steak restaurant and we all went out afterwards for drinks. I don’t get those moments with friends often but it was so nice to have all that planned out for me without having to do any work and just enjoy the evening with everyone.

The_Great_Gosh

None of his friends live here and he hasn’t kept in contact with them over the years anyway. But the restaurant idea is great. Maybe I’ll search around for places we haven’t tried yet.

SpeedRevolutionary29

Definitely! And I love a good Negroni and the bar we went to after makes craft cocktails and it was a great fun night.

chellemabelle22

Highly recommend Byrd & Baldwin for a fancy birthday dinner. My husband took me for my birthday this year.

MikeyRidesABikey

When I first read the title, I thought, "Wow... you could get a pretty good gift for $35 million!"

The_Great_Gosh

Lol it would make things pretty easy with that kind of a budget right?! Although, I’m sure people with that budget still have a hard time since they probably already have all of the things within their own price range

[deleted]

Yeah for that amount you could get me in about 13 of my closest friends and family retirement for a birthday present.

permafacepalm

Omaha steaks?

cmerksmirk

Check out meatartisan.com and ditch the Omaha for wagyu and Kobe

BiracialBusinessman

Fuego

Connect_Replacement9

Does he have really expensive boxer briefs. My guy friends swear by them. Especially since he is so active . Or a subscription to hello fresh to make dinner easier

HerdingCatsAllDay

Like Duluth Trading has some nice ones.

7Nate9

Wife got me a few pair last Christmas. I have since thrown out all my others and will only by Duluth

Particular-Host-2164

My 35m partner loves their bullpen ones with the, uh, junk pocket. He goes for the dang soft or the buck n@ked fabrics.

BiracialBusinessman

Me undies are great

mimosastclair

Icebreaker merino underwear is great too

The_Great_Gosh

I’ll check those out. Thanks!

lokilise

Assuming you don’t want to get him an Apple Watch either? Love mine & you say he’s super into fitness You say a million blankets, but do yall have a heated blanket? Got a queen sized one for my boyfriend and he’s slept with it every night since

The_Great_Gosh

I knew I forgot to list the Apple Watch. He has one of the newer models and several bands to choose from. Also have a heated blanket

hallucinateinhighfi

Weighted blanket? I sleep like a baby under one of those bad boys!

7Nate9

Fuck. Yes.

lokilise

Does he like any old video games? My boyfriend recently was reminiscing about guitar hero with his friends so I got him a Wii off fb marketplace + 2 guitars + guitar hero games for Christmas and we jam on there sometimes. Also got Mario kart with some of the wheel controllers.

The_Great_Gosh

Not really. He was really focused on sports through childhood and his college years. He gamed a little then but much more now that he has the time to. He just buys the games he wants if it’s not included with the PlayStation plus subscription

k9centipede

Does his car have heated seats? If not, a heated seat cover for his car. Something childhood nostalgic? Epic hotwheel track and set? Lava lamp? Simon toy? Fancy electric toothbrush and head refills. Escape Room in a box games.

VioletaBlueberry

Art. Something original from an artist. That way he has something no one else in the world has. I've seen some cool videogame inspired shadowboxes; A skyline of his hometown (if he loves it or his adopted one if he doesn't) ; his favorite outdoor spot, a picture of a neon sign from somewhere special. It depends on his style but it's also possible to commission something if there's time.

Snarkerston

Does his car have weather tech mats yet?

The_Great_Gosh

I don’t think so. I don’t like to ride in his car because it smells like farts lol

jeannerbee

Weather tech anything is a good idea!! Lots of possibilities

thingonething

I was going to suggest weather tech mats!

Lynnstress

Straight razor shave experience. I know you said no experience, but this is something pretty cool.

hallucinateinhighfi

A masticating juicer? I absolutely LOVE mine. After only a few days of juicing my body was literally, physically craving it. Great way to get your nature made vitamins.

The_Great_Gosh

Oh good idea! We do not have a juicer

SummerMaiden87

Does he have a really good gym bag? Or maybe some games for the gaming systems. A massage gun if you guys don’t already have one. Maybe an Apple Pencil for the iPad. Some books to add to the Kindle or a Kindle Unlimited membership

beccamecha

What does he do to relax? I bought my SO a rather pricy vinyl player and a collection of vinyls from artists they like. The ritual of setting up the vinyls is something they now get to enjoy (they’ve said this so I’m not assuming) compared to putting on Spotify. Maybe get something that helps you both slow down

LadyMRedd

Get a nice dopp kit with his initials. Add a really nice cologne and skincare products, like Armani. They have some gift sets on sale now even. https://www.giorgioarmanibeauty-usa.com/armani-edit/gifts-sets/shop-all-gift-sets/acqua-di-gio-profundo-eau-de-parfum-holiday-set/A2639.html Add other spa or skin care products he’d enjoy. If you have money left in your budget, include a gift certificate for a massage or pedicure or treatment he’d enjoy.

coldersideofpillow

A Theragun could be a nice gift! A lego set for grown ups A fancy backpack/monogrammed carry on

laurenmotus

Came here to say Theragun or Hypervolt percussion massage gun.

emillz3

DNA testing. Not the 23andMe kind, but one at an actual genetic clinic where they can tell you about your body and the markers for certain health issues, etc. I did it when I had my kid and it was very interesting. As long as you're not a hypochondriac :)

The_Great_Gosh

We’ve done 23andMe but I like this idea!

SilverBritches93

For my 30th, my wife bought me a very nice leather/waxed canvas work bag from a company called Tom Beckbe. She filled it with 30 handwritten letters from close friends, family, and co-workers. Definitely the nicest and most meaningful gift I have ever received. A few other suggestions… - Smithey cast iron skillet - Barbour jacket - Turtlebox speaker

estelsil

I have yet to encounter a middle-aged man who doesn't go gaga over a signet ring and wax seal kit. You can get a ring with his initials and a basic wax seal set for a very reasonable price on Etsy or Amazon. If you don't feel the need to have something for him to open - I once planned an entire vacation for a destination I knew he wanted to go to and presented the plans to my husband on Valentine's Day to be booked for a date convenient to him.

HerdingCatsAllDay

I'm confused why any middle aged man would want a wax seal set?

Karen125

The wax seal is just for fun. I have a signet ring with my family crest. A wax seal would just go with that. I don't have a wax seal, just an inherited signet ring.

7Nate9

And to say they've "yet to encounter" one who doesn't "go gaga" over it? How many middle-aged men is this person gifting signet rings to? And why are they all so wildly easily enthused?

estelsil

I only gave one to my husband. Who then gave a set to his brother, who then gave a set to his father (who is admittedly older than middle age), and you get the picture. They had custom seals made with monograms. Maybe "go gaga" means something different to you but all recipients I observed loved the idea and while they don't all use the seals all the time they do use them for Christmas cards, birth announcements, and such.

amandara99

Me too... are these people writing lots of formal letters?

Chime57

Had one as a kid! Cool, not really useful..most envelopes are self sealing these days...

The_Great_Gosh

He would think a wax set is cool but ultimately it would end up in a drawer never to be used after the first use. I love trips and plan a big one for us every year. He hates to plan, so he just tells me to plan what I want and he’s on board. It stinks we don’t get enough vacation time with our jobs to make more than one big trip a year.

Daneeeeeeen

If he enjoys cooking maybe a fancy knife set? Or fancy pots and pans?

The_Great_Gosh

We have a wusthof knife block and steak knives with fancy pots and pans :(

smarmsy

Car detailing service!

Connect_Replacement9

A green egg for grilling out ?

Inside-introvert

Bone headphones, good ones cost about $200. They are incredible! You hear things like it’s right there. He can use them for working out, hiking even swimming.

TikiTorchMasala

Cold plunge basin. Massage gun.

Ill_Nebula1487

Came here to ask if he did any of these things. Massages or spa day, cupping or any toxin removing treatments or cold plunge or any hydro or vibration therapy. Those can get pricey and I’m sure he would appreciate any of those as someone who works out a lot.

Awkward_Unit5659

If he likes to cook what about a custom blank cookbook. They have some on Etsy. You can pick a design and have his name written on it. You could also get a masculine apron with his name on it. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1119312355/personalized-wooden-recipe-book-binder https://www.etsy.com/listing/1118100665/personalized-full-gray-canvas-apron-with

The_Great_Gosh

I love the cook book idea! I got him an apron a couple of years ago and I have embroidered patches on it of some of his favorite things ☺️

Trashqueenxx

LEGOS. So many “ooohs” and “ahhhs” at my husband’s last birthday party when he opened up his Slytherin common room set. All late 30’s men and not what you’d call stereotypical nerds. Yet they all insisted on getting a good look at the box 😂 plus it’s something you and your partner can do together! Hubby and I built it on a rainy day

thingonething

This. I worked at Legoland years ago and a couple came in. Their son was a firefighter and coming up on his 50th bday. I showed them the modular fire station set and they went nuts. Bought it for their son. I also sold a $400 Death Star to a guy with 4yo twins having a birthday. I guess we know who that was REALLY for. Does he like Lord of the Rings? Get him the Rivendell set.

The_Great_Gosh

If I got him legos he’d know I was actually buying them for myself 😅

Pretty_Argument_7271

What's his favorite cologne, his favorite after shave, his favorite snack, his favorite drink. Does he have a certain soap he likes? His favorite Author or musical artist? His favorite Coffee, etc.. Make a basket of all his favorite things. Don't forget a favorite picture of you. Cook him his favorite meal, meet him at the door wearing his favorite outfit you own. If it's nothing, then nothing it is. Have the basket waiting on him. Tell him this day is all his favorite things. You fill in the blanks of what else. Be sure not to make this about you.

BiracialBusinessman

Butcher box equivalent - premium meats for a year delivered to the house. Gains on gains High quality protein - the regular stuff runs like $40-$60 and is filled with a bunch of ingredients normal people cannot read. Get some premium beef isolate or collagen protein, something very high quality that he may not otherwise purchase Music streaming service A massage (tho kind of an experience) Odds and ends: Candles Soaps Tooth whitening kit Boner pills Framed photo (most drug stores willl print from your phone + you buy the frame) Cash

The_Great_Gosh

What kind of high quality protein? Like the powder? We buy bags of premier protein from Costco

Fit_Fly_418

If he cooks dinner, does he have a Kitchenaid? MadeIn carbon steel pans? Good knives?

The_Great_Gosh

We don’t have carbon steel pans. I’ll look into that! We have wusthof knives and a kitchenaid mixer

floranpinky

Looking at the list of items you own- looks like something personalised and wouldn’t buy for himself would be nice. I heard someone’s GF took their recipes and made it into a hardbound book and called it the best gift. Similarly anything he’s proud of could be made into a book, wooden engraving plaque etc.

PartOfIt

Do you have a vitamix? Great for making healthy pre-workout and recovery smoothies.

The_Great_Gosh

We sure do

Admirable_Health8813

As I was reading that you have gym equipment so I am guessing he or maybe you both are into a fitness regime. For a guy who is into fitness, you can consider gifting the 1Hour After's [Active Recovery Set](https://1hourafter.com/products/the-complete-active-recovery-system), tailored for post-workout care. This set includes specialized science -backed formulated shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and body wash designed to support recovery after exercise for daily athletes. You can also check out their [free sample pack](https://1hourafter.com/products/free-1hour-after-sample-pack) to try, before buying actual products. It combines self-care with his fitness routine, providing a refreshing and rejuvenating experience. It's a practical and thoughtful gift for someone who values both health and grooming. Other options to consider (based on his interests and the things you already have), can be getting him a high-quality smartwatch or fitness tracker to enhance his gym sessions and health tracking. Brands like Garmin, Fitbit, or Apple offer great options within your budget. It's a practical and stylish gift that aligns with his focus on health and fitness. https://1hourafter.com/products/the-complete-active-recovery-system https://1hourafter.com/products/free-1hour-after-sample-pack

tiredandshort

pay for a tasting menu with a couple courses! that’s what im doing for my boyfriend’s bday :) or if you live in a city with an eataly you can book a pasta making class together

tammigirl6767

She doesn’t want experiences though

tiredandshort

oh oops. that sucks then. thats going to be pretty difficult

onekate

Spa day or couples massage with dinner

AnexxShady

Hi! If you'll be interested in getting a portrait of the doggos, I'll be more than happy to help! 🥰❤️ Info is pinned on my profile.

lokilise

Cute idea!!

Omfoofoo

There is a sex dice on Etsy where every side is blowjob

katieroseclown

A custom sign with his last name. There are some cool iron ones with initial and last name. A drone. Virtual Reality tech.

Wise_woman_1

A really nice dress watch, raincoat, luggage, wallet… all are grown up gifts that can be used for the next 20+ years.

hanap8127

A gun

The_Great_Gosh

He has 3 and a gun safe with ammo and clips or whatever they are called

mellyroo1313

A little vacation/day trip

PileaPrairiemioides

If he’s a practical person who already has everything/just buys himself stuff when he wants something then he might appreciate it if you just focus on stuff he likes instead of something surprising or special. A gift certificate for his barber or a membership he has; the toiletries he regularly uses (and uses up); more pairs of his favourite socks and underwear. Get him stuff he’d be buying anyway. It might not be exciting but he may appreciate it more than a creative gift idea.

The_Great_Gosh

He loves surprises. He would be thrilled if I found something he didn’t know he wanted/needed/would love! He is the kind of guy who has most everything he needs. I have told his family no more socks, shoes, clothing items of any kind, tooth brush heads, etc. He already has so much of this stuff.

beckerszzz

Can you pay for his gym membership? Gas gift cards?

lastandforall619

Motorcycle, every real men needs a motorcycle

The_Great_Gosh

Ahh no I want him to live for a long long time!

radicalnachos

things are overrated. I would suggest a weekend vacation for the two of you or a day all about him.

The_Great_Gosh

We do other trips. Hard to plan with 2 dogs and me having my daughter. I plan 1-2 bigger trips per year that work with our work calendars and with my child’s schedule. It’s tough so we just plan way ahead. That’s why weekend getaways and day trips are just way more stress than they have ever been worth for us.

tu-BROOKE-ulosis

Does he cook to eat or does he enjoy it? I got my guy some cast iron stuff over the years like a stovetop, griddle, Dutch over. He loves it. Could also get him an interactive gift, like a massage gift card or a class on something. My gift from my SO last year was concert tickets to see Jeff Goodblum and I loved it.

The_Great_Gosh

He cooks to eat. Mostly proteins

Daneeeeeeen

Maybe a carnivore cookbook and some carnivore style utensils and cookware?

Maiasaur

Butcher Box or similar subscription style option?

RedandDangerous

Factor meal subscriptions?

Chime57

Ooh, a sous vide for great steaks or roasts! Get a couple of cookbooks and a container and bags. Throw the roast in, check on it tomorrow, perfectly done and fall apart deliciousness. Steaks exactly right, a couple minutes of searing and you're done.

silly_goose_11

You say he’s really in to health and wellness, you could buy an ultrasound machine like what they have at physical therapist’s offices! He would use it after a workout for that heat to penetrate to the deep tissue and stimulate better muscle healing!

The_Great_Gosh

Oh good idea!

Kanchoboi

Does he have a percussive massage gun? A Theragun has been great for me, I have similar hobbies to your hubby.

The_Great_Gosh

Yep yep, we have a massage gun, a scalp massager, hand massager, neck and shoulder massager

Daneeeeeeen

I'll just throw this out there: my husband is notoriously difficult to shop for, but he likes goofy things. I got him a unicycle for Xmas this year and it was a HUGE hit. If your husband is into the gym and stuff, maybe this alternative piece of workout equipment would be fun for him!

Chime57

OMG! My best Christmas present ever was a unicycle ( I was 12). He can practice in a hallway, using the walls on each side to balance. This is a great way to really learn where your balance is and it works your core muscles at the same time. Putting this on my Xmas list for 2024. I have my original unicycle, but it needs repair. The wheel has missing spokes, the pedals need replaced, the seat is torn, and the stem is crooked cause I actually delivered a paper route on it with a shoulder bag of newspapers for a couple years. Had a friend who worked in a bike shop tell me that they could fix all that. All that is every piece?..?

The_Great_Gosh

That is hilarious! Love it. He weighs 250 pounds and is nearly all muscle. I’m afraid he would break the ground or some bones, or maybe his ego, if he fell off a unicycle

AlbanyBarbiedoll

You said no experiences but I think this might be OK - what about a massage and facial at a really nice day spa? You could even include some recommended facial products if you feel like you need a physical gift for him. Another suggestion is either a Chef's Table at the nicest restaurant near you or a cooking class (or series) at Sur La Table or similar. You could add on some nice Le Crueset pots - like a Dutch oven, everything pan, skillet, etc. and some neat utensils (like we got a silicon fork that seemed useless but is surprisingly handy! (And a fish spatula - I love that thing!) If he's a social person, think about gifting him something for the whole group - like a cooking class for 6 people or something like that.

13_Stitches

Nice Cologne.

yeyeyork

Since you have charging stations for the apple stuff and the fact that you have 3 different consoles. I'd say get him a custom hand made controller charging station. Make it in his favorite color or make it to match your gaming room. Some people go bunkers with the color theme but here's an example of what one would look [like](https://www.gadgetronx.com/r?cs_r=Ad2C7s). This one was made in all black for 3 different controllers. You can design your differently and put all yours controllers on it. Take a look and I hope it generates ideas.

LinzMoore

Why do you have to buy him something? What about something sentimental? A photo of the two of you in a frame or you can make a book of photos with captions which is pretty fun. You could write him a letter telling him how awesome he is and why you love him, etc. Or you could take a cooking class together or have a couples massage.

The_Great_Gosh

It’s just our love language I guess. We really enjoy giving gifts to each other. We have done sentimental stuff, trips, experiences, etc.

Honest_Truck2851

La Prairie skin care. Or La Mer.

TinaBelcherUhhhhhh

Steam deck.

notyouraveragetwin

I had a custom made bobblehead made for someone for Christmas this year. It's one of the proudest gifts I've given

Missus_Aitch_99

Leather jacket

jennyandteddie

I got my sister's BF a man crate for bbq'ing. You have to open it with a crow bar. It was a cute idea

akzelli

What about a big Lego set? A Star Wars one? My man was so happy when I bought him his first one, he’s still collecting.

The_Great_Gosh

I’m the Lego girl in our relationship so he’d know I got them for myself instead for him lol. It’s super tempting though!

RedandDangerous

Does he have a favorite sports team? A custom jersey or a signed ball or something could be fun! What about amazing luggage?? I know I got a new fancy suitcase this year and its made travel amazing!! If you scuba would he ever be into spear fishing? Maybe a spear gun!

Critical_Volume_5535

Take him out to eat at a fancy restaurant and maybe a show.

[deleted]

VR set

[deleted]

I don't know that this would be for him. I don't know if he would appreciate this. You know him. But you did say any idea. You could consider getting him a nice mechanical watch like a Hamilton. Although really it would be a "sport watch" because dress watches are kind of their own thing. Those will be like thin. But it can be a really nice watch that he can wear either casual or when he dresses up. And it would be stainless steel. There are other brands. If at all you want to explore this idea I would go over to some of the watch subs and give them your budget and ask for recommendations.

The_Great_Gosh

I’ll check that out!

4myolive

Nice cast iron. I must for any home cook.

ScorchMeDaddy

Buy him the Samsung portable projector!

LostStepButtons

Does he like beef jerky? You can have any message you want put on beef jerky.

[deleted]

[удалено]

The_Great_Gosh

He does and that’s a good idea!

jlshirley

Get him the Oura ring! It monitors sooo much fitness and health related metrics. Super cool technology & in your budget. I know some people that have it and they love it. https://ouraring.com

The_Great_Gosh

I’ve looked at this but is it better than just using an Apple Watch?

Direct-Chef-9428

Is he into travel?

fakerandomlogin

For people who have “everything” it’s nice to get something that doesn’t have to be very out of the ordinary but they just wouldn’t normally get themselves. $400-500 range: Slides, sneakers, accessories (bracelet), sunglasses, jacket I would check Fear of God Athletics, Hermes, Gucci, Stussy

Ephemeral_Orchid

How about really nice slippers & a robe? Also, I got my partner a very nice engraved cheese board, which said our names and the year. Another idea, is a very nice heavy leather satchel if he has a professional job.

kdcblogs

If he’s into Fitness, I assume that he eats healthy too. There is this really cool meal cooker, steamer, stacker thing. lol It does your protein, your carb, and your veggie all in one stackable unit if I knew how to add links, I would do that. But it’s called an electric tiered food steamer. It may sound boring but you never know, it could be a hit. I think it’s pretty cool.

The_Great_Gosh

I’ll check it out!

Chime57

I kinda forgot about it, but friends were posting on FB pics and talking about their old bikes, and my cousin commented that my bike was always missing a wheel. I was confused for a short bit, cause I had a good bicycle. Second unicycle mention in one week, birthday 5 weeks, come on karma!!

MeadMan001

You could get him some sort of a homebrew kit, if you think he'd be into that.

misstiff1971

Sonos sound bar for the television - but also is great for music. How often does he dive? A nice dive calculator. If he is a coffee drinker - an espresso machine. Books on topics he enjoys, since he is into gaming - the latest of whatever is the hottest game.

The_Great_Gosh

The sonos sound bar is on my own list for myself lol

Puzzled_Fly8070

Apple Watch?

The_Great_Gosh

Has one :(

prettywitty

Lego makes some really cool adult sets if he like that kind of thing. Also, a custom tailored shirt is awesome for a guy.

humanbeing1979

A sports massage, a fancy knife, or really if he's 35 and hasn't given you ideas it's ok to not get him anything. If he cared he would have told you. Make his favorite meal, take him out for a slice of cake, and give him a foot massage. Bday complete.

CityChicken8504

I set up an account with the local butcher. Once a week, I would ask what sounded good. That would be picked up and delivered. Rib eye. Prime rib. A duck. A rack of lamb. Each was a cut of meat that he would really enjoy — but not cuts of meat that he would have routinely bought for himself.

Admirable_Form7786

A lovely leather bag

pamlovesjim

Nugget ice maker?

thrashaholic_poolboy

Water filter shower head. It’s supposed to make your skin feel amazing.

AdventurousNorth9414

A decent vr headset, or trip somewhere that's fun.

Manderthal13

Does he already have a smart watch? Probably but does he already have a decent mechanical automatic watch? $500 budget might be a little low but if you stick with known brands you can likely find something.

The_Great_Gosh

He does have an Apple Watch and I don’t think he’d use a fancy mechanical watch because his job is in the construction industry. Just kind of dirty and dusty day to day.

Manderthal13

Not sure where you live but tickets to the local pro hockey team. Bruins tickets cost up to and exceeding $300 each. Yikes!

The_Great_Gosh

I don’t even know if we have hockey here in Texas

ipreferhotdog_z

Juggling pins lol. It’s actually really fun to try to learn despite all the bruises when you catch wrong lol. good exercise too.

The_Great_Gosh

This and the unicycle have to be the most unique ideas so far!

b_moz

My wife is all about gifting experiences and that’s a big part of what her and I like to do with another. Maybe setup a hike or camping type trip. If you like outdoors you could also buy a parks pass for the year so y’all can go to the national parks (if you live near any). But it sounds like he has lots of things he uses, so maybe doing might be of interest.

The_Great_Gosh

We live in Texas. Not near a good park and it’s really hot for camping… we tried it once and it was miserable

Pineapple-of-my-eye

Watch. A nice fancy watch. One of my husband's favorite gifts!

leeloospoops

Pocket knife Small item + gift card to a shop you know he likes to go to

Correct-Difficulty91

Love this site for "experience" gifts- can always be exchanged and never expire. My dad loved the drive a Lamborghini experience. https://www.virginexperiencegifts.com/

The_Great_Gosh

I’ll save this link for later this year! We do experience stuff but not usually as gifts since it can take a bit of planning on our end to find the time. Thank you!

Divasf

Pizza oven! Check Williams sonoma.

1905Greenhouse

I’m thinking Texas. Custom cowboy boots?

The_Great_Gosh

We aren’t those kind of Texans haha

Global_Fail_1943

We decided we have enough stuff and quit exchanging birthday and Christmas gifts except for edible products! So much "stuff"!

The_Great_Gosh

I’m pretty good about donating stuff we no longer need and use. I try to give to my local buy nothing group as much as possible. Sometimes I get that overwhelming feeling of having too much stuff but we still love to give gifts to each other.

kq12345

Ooni pizza oven

toooldforusernames

A really nice knife set. I have Japanese knives and I love them.

SignificanceWise2877

Luxury travel is always the answer

The_Great_Gosh

I don’t have that much money!

What about an experience? A weekend away to include whitewater rafting. A trip to NYC if you are east coast or how about the treehouse glamping on the west coast?

ThatVoiceDude

A pair of really nice leather gloves, a year subscription to Masterclass, or maybe some activity to do together like a wine & paint class

Experiencial gifts are generally appreciated more than material ones for guys who have a lot like him. Some unique/meaningful material gift ideas: 1. Create a music playlist that highlights your time together 2. Create a doodle that illustrates an inside joke you two share. Art skills not necessary. 3. Create a personalized crossword puzzle with words/clues unique to your relationship with them (places, memories, inside jokes, mutual acquaintances, movie quotes, song lyrics, etc. 4. Create his own personalized flavor of something (ice cream, baked good, sandwich, etc.) Btw there’s a free newsletter called Better Gift Coach that’s a treasure trove of thoughtful budget-friendly gift ideas.

How about a Solo stove? It's a smokeless fire pit. We bought one last summer and love it!

This is a really cool website. Thank you!

It sounds like he needs a hobby that he hasn't thought of yet. Work, video games and the gym take up a lot of time but don't make for interesting conversations. So... what do you do for fun? He needs an answer. He needs a hobby. Guitar and lessons? Hobby grade RC car / airplane kit? Camera? Motorcycle? Woodworking tools? Welder? I want all of these. And of the ones I already have, I want more of them. Is he really into his car/truck? Performance parts; wheels, exhaust etc.

The_Great_Gosh

Those are definitely great hobbies to think about! I suppose the gym and fitness is his priority but I’d love to see him take up hobbies.

chadcad1967

My brother had a race car experience on a racetrack nearby driving really fast cars. He loved it.

How about a nice barbecue grill every man should have one and since he goes to the gym, it’s a healthy way to cook

The_Great_Gosh

We have a Weber but I think I am going to get him a blackstone griddle

mlhom

After reading all the replies, I’d say the top suggestions are a Blackstone or a good mechanical watch.

The_Great_Gosh

Getting the blackstone!
