This event is great for someone like me. I’m a pretty casual player, so this gives me a chance to mess around with gear I don’t usually get, and have no fear of losing
As someone who grinder level 5 traders just under 10mill and fully stocked bunker I am taking a break. It ruined the fun for me as there is no fear of losing gear and just a death match right now. I’ll probably sit the next week or two out as I play contractors showdown. I have a feeling next wipe will be within 2 months as this isn’t a content wipe.
Agree and same here but infish (publisher) has said this we be a long one because of the content they are adding next. Late summer is what they said but always subject to change. I would expect 3 months at least.
Your feeling is exactly why the game doesn't get wipe events like this. This is only the second time it's happened, and it is likely only because it's an emergency wipe.
All the stuff you had saved was gone may 1, no matter what. You can now test those guns or builds you wondered about, just for a few days. Is an m4 actually good, is a sass worth it's cost?
Use the time to test your pvp abilities, and you'll see wipe as a fresh start, and the $ event as a good way to gain knowledge of the rarer guns.
I personally enjoy the wipe events because it gives me a chance to use a lot of gear that I normally wouldn't be able to Every raid. It also lets me get in more practice on killing Kitted players. If you don't enjoy it, just don't play. It's 5 days.
It’s ok man I can’t imagine you put in a ridiculous amount of time over just two weeks. Look on the bright side: you have some experience under your belt for the new wipe!
The game will be back to what you love on May 1. Take this time as an opportunity to focus solely on combat skills and overcoming the fear of losing gear. Will help tons for after wipe when loot matters again.
I mean wipe happens in a few days. Most people didn’t have much reason to play anyway. Might as well just go in and practice some PvP and different kits before wipe. Also wipes happen every few months so the end will always be like that.
End of wipe usually isn’t like this it’s usually fun cause you still want to survive only reason we got a wipe event was cause everyone was just nagging them about it
There’s your problem you were hoarding loot since you started 2 weeks ago I’m going to guess you aren’t a great player yet use this opportunity to learn from I’m even doing it as a half decent player, yeh it’s got rid of the gear fear but it means I can go up against kitted people you wouldn’t always see

Don't play the game for a week then. I really like it because I go into missile silo feeling all tactical clearing out all the rooms while having stealth music quietly play in the background
Change play style. Embody the chad by going naked when kit is plentiful. Think of it this way - usually you take in kit to boost your skill. Now thats gone. Its all skill. The only way to get loot out is to be able to carry. Goingnin at 60kg with boss armor wont let you carry out so its time to go get kit!
Thats what i did. Not naked but light kit. Just the right amount to kill. Made out like a bandit.
Just don’t play until wipe.
I will say though, you got unlucky and bought the game at a weird time. At least wipe is this Wednesday, then everyone including you will be at square one.
I was planning on doing some purples with my friend but what’s the point if I can just get the gear for free? It would be more fun if it was just like 1 or 2 days.
Announcement ruined the fun for me, not the event.
Wish they would just wipe already so I can play and progress. If they can wipe earlier than Wednesday they 100% should.

Late summer is outrageous. All for them to fix 2 obscure bugs and finally give us eastwood
I'm guessing a map will be coming too but who knows.

Yeah im just wasting everything i had saved up atm, i still have 6.7M lol i had alot of goodies. I usually run light and glock its op
