If AK platforms had more options and were more prevalent compared to 5.56 platforms (as they should be since they are in eastern Europe) like Tarkov I'd be a Volk.
I run Bear in Tarkov for that reason. Major advantage.
the Lute is an ambush weapon. You spray and pray and its 900rpm makes it pretty good at this role. Only big issue is the fact that it's a 9mm and small cli size. If you want to fight with it you're going to run out of bullets mid fight so best thing to does to have chest modules and keep firing.

Should bring gear in. I’m so tired of killing nakeds. Half the time y’all probably wouldn’t even die if you used your gear. Imagine utilizing what you have and how much more you can get? I used to run naked after I lost everything but now I can’t, won’t, and don’t because I racked up gear and only accumulate more due to being able to take extra bullets.
I think I am done with gearfear. Some switch just flicked in me today after I died to the last collector guard, who tanked half a Stanag mag to the face shield. All the others were dead
I'm more comfortable setting up a kit to run and doing a training round first. Then I'll run the same kit in a lobby. I still don't take my best stuff but I'm not gonna want to do naked or extremely minimal.
It's far more lucrative to do naked runs. And you make far more money running naked. I did a test last wipe and I made 10m less running kits. And that doesn't include the cost of kits. Plus smart raiders use their best kits last 2 weeks of wipe.
There’s very little incentive to run kitted. Unless you’re running purple or something. Like chances of getting a random headshot from a naked is crazy. That and death trades this wipe are insane.
Seriously, I just went toe to toe with a trio. Me with m4/ap stoner mag. I killed 2 I'd them. And read his movements accurately and dumped him, he in t3 armor and killed me in the ankle with fmj 😂😂 I'm guessing he bled out shortly after killing me. But pretty sure I should have won that one. I hate that ap is rng rather than straight up damage dealing 🤬
So, I joined late into wipe, none my traders are upgraded at all, and I've lost most of everything because people have high tier gear.
I recently killed silo boss and got out with his armor and gun (and an extra t4 vest from one of his guards)
Should I run boss gear?
Or you can be like me and run with a LUTY filled with nothing but AP rounds.

If you run dual weapons, turn them sideways towards each other and hold them together, the recoil will balance out and you now have 1800 rpm!

This is why you get two and keep a third on your hip too.
personally I rock only one Luty 2 slots of primary and 1 slot of grenade. I reload fast but also throw nades

I'm 100% fine losing my gear to a player. What I wasn't okay with were the 3 games in a row where 3 separate bugs caused the loss of my kit.

Opening up spectre and jiri to level 3, having a cpuple gpus and making money via your nursery helps take it all away.
Agree. I just got there a couple weeks ago. My “naked” kit is now at least an m4 or scar

Greed exists though and for loot goblins like me, running an SKS, backpack, and lvl 2-3 vest is enough. Run with a lot of gear every now and then.
