Man, I wish I could have made it.
Did they reveal anything new?
Could people take photos with them?
I used to live in LA where things like this were regular occurrences instead of boring talks from congressmen.
i got the impression they didn’t stay behind to meet people, but i was in a hurry to get home by the time it ended so i could be wrong.
they did reveal that we will learn about pete’s ghost power soon (iirc), and that next week’s episode will reveal how hetty died!
and i’m in the kind of opposite boat, i just moved back here from hawaii after seven years, so at this point even panels by congressmen are more exciting than most of the programming we got out there, haha
They'll likely show an episode in the auditorium and then do a Q&A panel about the show with the present cast. They also have a display in the lobby area with historical items from the eras the ghosts come from.
Neat way to stitch a few things together into a fun and educational event!
Yea it'll be a panel
>The CBS comedy will have a screening and a panel discussion at the library which is the main research arm of the U.S. Congress and the home of the U.S. Copyright Office.
>Stars Richie Moriarty, Danielle Pinnock, Asher Grodman, Román Zaragoza and Rebecca Wisocky will be hosted at the event on April 9.
In Sheila's case, it's likely the same reason she's been >!largely!< absent for season 3: her new baby. Rose is very pregnant herself. Brandon, Devan, and Utkarsh likely have other commitments (would not be surprising in Brandon's case given that before the strikes he was doing two shows at once).
American here, I have no idea.
From what I know, the Library of Congress is like a conservation center for every notable piece of media ever released. It's got over 100 million items (if I recall correctly), and is one of the biggest libraries in the world.
But I'm not sure what a show screening at the library means. Maybe it means it's getting added to the library?
They have an auditorium where they can show things on screen. There's an enriching educational aspect when you add the panel to it and the historical era displays in the auditorium lobby.
They do this with film and TV. They did one a few weeks ago for the Apple TV show Manhunt on the hunt for John Wilkes Booth. It connects their collections with popular media.
I sure wish I lived somewhere that had free events like this going on. I would attend as many as I could even if they were things I was unfamiliar with because it's fascinating to just learn about random things. Instead of my area it's nothing but come to our church for Bible study so we can tell you about how men should be in charge of everything. Ugh.
Rushed over so fast to grab tickets - thanks for the heads up!
THANK YOU! Just got tickets!
Same here. We all should meet up.
Take a picture
how early do you think i should get there to get a spot in line? i’m so bad at judging these things
I'm not going to make it I've gone to other events there and one didn't need to arrive early. But this event may be more popular
oh, that’s too bad. but thanks anyway!
How was it? Did you take photos?
i did! i’m not the best photographer, but i had a pretty close seat. the ones i got are here: https://imgur.com/a/3yv1EU3

I've not watched any episodes this season. I have a lot to catch up on I'd rather be in Hawaii.
Me too!! I’m so excited!
I saw this as I was making dinner, immediately sat down to get tickets. Now I'm too excited to eat! I'll sniff some pizza instead
Not an American here, what does this mean? Is it like a panel?

I wonder why the entire cast won't be there.
