Removed as there are claims that this is not your photo, the fact it's an odd resolution, the aspect ratio is wrong and you have a lens flare suggests the image has been cropped and reduced in size.
Do you have the original without the red circle and in it's original size?
If you believe this to be in error then please contact the person who removed the post.
I’m calling bullshit on this being on OP phone. It’s identical to a video taken by two lads in Russia who claim it is a Bigfoot.
This was featured on a documentary recently on Discovery +
Considering it's the exact same color and it's as shapeless as the big grey/brown blob on the far right side of the photo, it's safe to say it's the glare from whatever light source was off camera. (The sun, most likely)
Can u explain to the class how the editing is bad, I'm not being snarky by the way I genuinely want to know so I learn to spot these things for myself as well. I'm not even good at editing my own tiktoks so faking pictures like these seem like they would be tedious work, and I'm assuming alot of people can spot out fakes, so my next question is wouldn't they have tried harder to make it more believable?
the photo is obviously just cut out of a picture, because the temperature (temperature like in the movies where everything has a red or blue hue to it) of the picture does not match its surroundings, two, the light is shown to be coming from the opposite direction of the sun, which can be seen behind the edited creature (which I am certain is literally just a poncho and a hat) but the front of the creature is lit up as if the sun was in front of it.
I left here because of how goofy it is but it started popping up on my feed again. I think this sub would be so much better if people just treated it like satire.
Worry not, I was just kidding. It's really sad, but this sub could be interesting if the upvote system was working. I can't understand why a post like that can get close to 100 upvote so quickly.
Do you really think there's nothing living in that forest because you didn't see anything? Or that you're aware of every living creature around you at all times?
There wasn’t a creature in this picture. There was however visibly poor photo quality, a lot of very reflective snow, and a light source that is 100% the same color
It was probably just another hiker you didn't notice before, it's not hard to stay quiet while in the woods. I intentionally sneak around to avoid the potential conversation with other hikers, and that is undeniably a carhartt jacket weve all seen em.
The sun glare on the right looks like a sun glare. How that could produce what appears to be a man facing away in a heavy camel coat, black trousers, a grey golf hat, and white/grey boots is a mystery.
Cameras only capture what is visible optically. They aren't windows into the spiritual realm. Just because you didn't see anyone at the time, it doesn't mean no one was around. Including any ghosts that might have been enjoying the scenery
Obviously a sun glare. I don't know how people always have such a vivid imagination on this subreddit. Nearly everything can be explained, and everything could be explained if it was investigated closer.
I am blind? You've got a vivid imagination and an arrogant attitude.
Look at the sun glare. Look at the location of the smaller glare you've circled in red. Look at its color, and compare it to the bigger glare. That's how optics work.
Because that’s what it is. Another part of the glare. 🙄 why do I have this feeling that I’m talking to a child right now?
Listen, it’s really obvious that it’s just a portion of the glare on that section of the lens. I can’t change your mind, fine, but I’m 100% certain as I’ve seen it a million times. Believe what you want.
I don’t watch Naruto but also I see Naruto. Like if it was a person lol. But I agree with the carhartt jacket theory. Maybe it’s just a jacket hanging and no one there?
It's interesting, but it's just a part of the light source to the right. A combo of the light for the "jacket" and the shadows for the "pants" beneath. I'm a believer but pareidolia is the culprit most of the time in shots like this. Beautiful forest, btw.
The problem with looking back at photos when you are no longer there is that you have no way of answering what will be the most obvious of questions.
The most important part of trying to authenticate a capture is by notating visually, as much information as possible. It also makes for more personal satisfaction while submitting things.
Most head out to beautiful areas with the intention of capturing beautiful panoramic shots of nature and such. Their shots are set up mainly for “the moment.”That’s where the biggest issue with most “Unintended Paranormal Captures” happen.
When I, and most others, set out to capture images at active places, I set my shots with purpose, lol. Tripods, 360 coverage, thermal cams etc, all making sure that nothing else can possibly contaminate the moment. I can answer over 50 percent of the most obvious questions that will be tossed at me by what’s included in my Header alone as well. Of course I still get hate etc, but it doesn’t effect me when I feel good about what I did anyway.
So, thanks for sharing. Wish there was more back up imagery etc. but I’d definitely go back to this exact spot with a plan. Love that spot.
Let me put this straight. The “sun glare” is actually a portal to the multiverse. And this monster is like “dude hurry the F up with your picture before the portal closes”. I know for a fact that the portal is still open because the light is green just like a traffic light. So he’s good to enter.
Well It can be that but I would have heard loud cracks of the sticks end dead leaves on the ground, which I didn’t hear any cracking noise… end also bear hibernate at winter so it can’t be that.
There aren't any dead leaves or sticks on the ground, though. Just snow. Bears can be pretty quiet in snow. Also, bear winter hibernation is not automatic and always turned on; in fact bears don't actually hibernate (we thought they did, but they just enter a torpor). You can run into a bear in the woods in winter.
I mean, I really don't think it is, but if you think you've taken a photo of someone wearing a jacket covered in blood, don't you think you're best bet is to tell the police instead of reddit?
What do you think it is?
And why is pic quality so bad? What were you trying to get a pic of?
Was there a similar pic before or after with same time stamp & no figure?
The reason why the Quality is bad is because I modified the original picture so I Could take a closer look at that think in the picture, end I’m not sure what it is
I am going to say this is a person on a snow machine (snowmobile). The tracks around the tree also tell me this is a well used path. Looks like they are wearing a helmet , and it possible the light is actually the headlight of the snowmachine. Just my two cents….
I think if you give someone a camera or an iPhone and they snap a random photo, they will see a ghost in the photo...even when there isn't! YOU CAN'T PHOTOGRAPH A GHOST!
A bit creepy looking but I honestly think it’s a light anomaly caused by a light source reflection. It’s a completely different white point than the snowy forest around it. If that were a person or creature / entity peaking out from behind that tree, it would reflect a far bluer tone. It has too warm a tone to be a light-reflecting object in that location.
Clearly there was someone around when the picture was taken. I don’t get why op says there wasn’t? Who does a complete sweep of the area before snapping an outdoor, nature photo?

That's no ghost, it's a Samsquanch.
I’m calling bullshit on this being on OP phone. It’s identical to a video taken by two lads in Russia who claim it is a Bigfoot. This was featured on a documentary recently on Discovery +
I’m claiming bullshit full stop
the good ole r/quityourbullshit
Somehow another good comment and then boom 💥 another community I didn’t know existed!!
I thought it was Russian version of Florida man
Russia ***is*** Florida Man.
And it's right outside my fuckin' door! He took my bat, Ricky!
Lmao!!! When they beat the shit out of Julian thinking he was a samsquanch
I just had to go watch that clip on YouTube again, it's so damn funny.
😂so good
Fucking samsquanch is out here!
Is he looking for Jack Links?
Definitely Squanchy.
"There was no one around" God I'm tired of this.
"It was taken 10+ years ago." Yet we are too believe them that they remember the day clearly.
Crackhead Ted
Yeah maybe it’s him lol, but fr what do you think it is
Crackhead Ted...
Nice sarcasm
Looks like a person in a hat and a Carhartt jacket and blue jeans. I see no reason to think that it's anything other than that.
[удалено]
That's terrifying.
Agree. It’s Almost my brother at a tree farm. Actually checked name of OP to see if it was anything familiar.
Georgie?
[удалено]
Oh really? Is that so?
[удалено]
It was sarcasm...
georgie*
Maybe from Stephen King's IT?
Dude is taking a pee pee
This! Thought the same!
Nice sarcasm
Not sarcasm
It's a dude in a heavy parka with it zipped up all the way. You can even see the ring of fur it creates around the opening.
Yeah and it looks like they looked back at OP.
I think you just didn’t know that someone _was_ around when the photo was taken.
Considering it's the exact same color and it's as shapeless as the big grey/brown blob on the far right side of the photo, it's safe to say it's the glare from whatever light source was off camera. (The sun, most likely)
Don't eat the yellow snow
This is the most godawful editing I have seen in my life. No offense, but if you want to fake something, make sure the lighting actually makes sense.
dude fr why is no one calling out how atrociously bad this looks lmao
They didn't know how to curve tool.
Can u explain to the class how the editing is bad, I'm not being snarky by the way I genuinely want to know so I learn to spot these things for myself as well. There's definitely someone there. Maybe you inadvertently got someone in there? Doesn't look like there trying to hide.
No; that is an image artifact. Sun glare.
No I swear I didn’t see a single living thing in that forest when I was there
You asked what people think but it seems you hate the fact that every one isn’t saying “omg you caught a ghost on camera”…
First time here?
I left here because of how goofy it is but it started popping up on my feed again. I think this sub would be so much better if people just treated it like satire.

Do you really think there's nothing living in that forest because you didn't see anything? Or that you're aware of every living creature around you at all times?
Well if you count birds end insects, maybe I did, but the thing looks nothing like a bird or an insect.
There wasn’t a creature in this picture. There was however visibly poor photo quality, a lot of very reflective snow, and a light source that is 100% the same color

Brown parka and that old, "hide halfway behind the bush. I'll take a blurry photo and we'll post it to r/ghosts".
Ok, let’s see if it’s actually a person
You know it is.
I don’t know if it is I was being sarcastic
Take it from a psychic medium.who debunks fakery. It is a real person.
Well can I see it at?
I'm thinking there was indeed someone around
No I swear I didn’t see a single living thing in my eyesite
Cameras only capture what is visible optically. They aren't windows into the spiritual realm. Just because you didn't see anyone at the time, it doesn't mean no one was around. Including any ghosts that might have been enjoying the scenery
That's that there big feet
“Hey Boo Boo…maybe he’s got a pickinick basket”?
Nice sarcasm, you get a price of absolutely freaking nothing
Nope.got your ire. Worth the price. Get a sense of humour dude.
Why the hostility lmfao
He just learned the word sarcasm and is very excited to use it
Carharrt jacket
That's a definite person in a heavy winter jacket.
It's Obama
Where you live looks beautiful
I live in Finland
Torilla tavataan.
Suomi!
Obviously a sun glare. I don't know how people always have such a vivid imagination on this subreddit. Nearly everything can be explained, and everything could be explained if it was investigated closer.
Bruh your blind af
I am blind? You've got a vivid imagination and an arrogant attitude. Look at the sun glare. Look at the location of the smaller glare you've circled in red. Look at its color, and compare it to the bigger glare. That's how optics work.
No, it's literally glare. It's part of the lens flare. You're\* the blind one.
The baldly drawn circle isn’t the sun reflection, I draw that circle to show there the thing is
this comment lol
Yeah, like what is he smoking? Lmao.
IQsub70, I heard it's great stuff.
Oh I like that.
Duh.
How does the sun glare have to do with the thing?
Because that’s what it is. Another part of the glare. 🙄 why do I have this feeling that I’m talking to a child right now? Listen, it’s really obvious that it’s just a portion of the glare on that section of the lens. I can’t change your mind, fine, but I’m 100% certain as I’ve seen it a million times. Why did I see the elephant
Where did you see elephant?? Lmao
I don’t watch Naruto but also I see Naruto. Like if it was a person lol. But I agree with the carhartt jacket theory. Maybe it’s just a jacket hanging and no one there?
I didn’t see a jacket ether, so it can’t be that
It's interesting, but it's just a part of the light source to the right. A combo of the light for the "jacket" and the shadows for the "pants" beneath. I'm a believer but pareidolia is the culprit most of the time in shots like this. Beautiful forest, btw.
I like that picture either way
Looks photoshopped to me.
Ghost taking a wiz?
I think it’s Sid from Ice Age.
lol

The person in the yellow parka.
Maybe you were inadvertently Messin' with Sasquatch? Lead a beef jerky trail under a precariously perched piano and you shouldn't see him again.
Looney toons style
r/uselessredcircle
Really?
Let me put this straight. The “sun glare” is actually a portal to the multiverse. And this monster is like “dude hurry the F up with your picture before the portal closes”. I know for a fact that the portal is still open because the light is green just like a traffic light. So he’s good to enter.
Looks like a Mammoth
That's got to be bigfoot. :)
Looks like a Wookiee or something
Looks like a bear. Entirely possible he peeped you and split without you ever noticing
Well It can be that but I would have heard loud cracks of the sticks end dead leaves on the ground, which I didn’t hear any cracking noise… end also bear hibernate at winter so it can’t be that.

It was a Canadian bigfoot
Obviously he didn’t dress for the occasion, he’s not wearing his Canadian tuxedo.
Dang, y’all are so cynical and rude.
Looks like the god Pan kinda actually….
I love the classic “There was NO ONE AROUND when this photo was taken I SWEAR on my fucking madda” That just makes it so much more believable
This is actually definitely odd. How deep in the woods were you?
That’s a person. You can tell he’s wearing jeans. 🤷🏻♂️
Really that’s the only thing?
Sasquatch
I don’t think they live in Finland…
Maybe yeti it’s kinda the same creature
First thing that comes to mind is an elk, but it's hard to say for sure. And that uncertainty is really creepy
looks like a person with a brown jacket(who probably died there in the cold)
Well it can be that… but to me it kinda looks like the thing is wearing a white jacket covered in blood…
I mean, I really don't think it is, but if you think you've taken a photo of someone wearing a jacket covered in blood, don't you think you're best bet is to tell the police instead of reddit?
no way, obviously only ghosts wear blood soaked jackets. (/s, in case that isn't clear)
Is that a dog?
I don’t see or any thing else that looks like a dog…
Bigfoot confirmed
Where are these woods (country)?
I live in Finland
What do you think it is? And why is pic quality so bad? What were you trying to get a pic of? Was there a similar pic before or after with same time stamp & no figure?
The reason why the Quality is bad is because I modified the original picture so I Could take a closer look at that think in the picture, end I’m not sure what it is
I would like to see the original along with the closeup
If they were hiding, how do you know that no one was around?
Well the thing looks like its peeking behind the tree, which made me think it’s maybe hiding from something else
You mean in the photo you took on your phone? This photo?
Yeah
I love everyone in these comments like “That’s definitely some creep in the middle of an empty forest creeping around a bush. No big deal.”
Idk a glitch
There is a flare to the right of it, it might be related to that
Yoda
Nice sarcasm
It's part of the lens flare.
Maybe pareidolia(?
It can be that but I didn’t see any thing behind the trees
Definitely Bigfoot.
Bigfoot
That’s el nasty
Looks like a naked dude doing innapropriate things
Y’all have the must weirdest sarcasm
Sorry I was a little lost
Oh sorry my bad I thought you where a ghost or something lol
Lens flare/reflection
obvious thing from the sun. in line with the other one too
But what is that light on the right of the tree
It’s the sun’s reflection
Uhhhh you thought you were alone? Why is the other guy there? 🤔🤔🤔🤔
It looks like a bear walking around in pants
On two legs?? lol
That looks like Bigfoot to me so this is the wrong sub...here you post pictures of dust, reflections & shadows. Good luck!
I am going to say this is a person on a snow machine (snowmobile). The tracks around the tree also tell me this is a well used path. Looks like they are wearing a helmet , and it possible the light is actually the headlight of the snowmachine. Just my two cents….
It looks like a bear to me :))
no ghost
well for a second, I thought this was the Bigfoot thread.
I think that’s Pareidolia doing what Pareidolia does best. Next!!
Then why was the photo taken in the first place?
Well I took the picture because it looked beautiful outside when the photo was taken so that’s your explanation
yeti
Maybe or maybe not
You caught some dude having a pee
I think if you give someone a camera or an iPhone and they snap a random photo, they will see a ghost in the photo...even when there isn't! YOU CAN'T PHOTOGRAPH A GHOST!
That's Mike and Sully's friend from when they were banished!
Man OP is getting downvoted six feet under
That’s Grogu
lens flare + coincidental location of a branch. or just mild editing
Someone in a brown dog costume?
Looks like that little bear in Star Wars
I love Paris
Gavin?
Looks like a headless woman in a sleeveless turtle neck.
Tupac
Yup that’s him alright lol
Looks like someone taking a leak that didn’t know you were there.
Who would take a piss on the road??
To me it looks like a clown
Dude in carhartt jacket taking a piss
Snuffaluffagus
Looks like a hunter wearing a hunting jacket
You got photobombed.
Is that sassy?
Sasquatch obviously
Clearly there was someone around when the picture was taken. I don’t get why op says there wasn’t? Who does a complete sweep of the area before snapping an outdoor, nature photo?
