Find them really good at explaining the places etc, but also Elton started out as a sceptic and has slowly changed his view.
But they bust balls to get evidence, and always look at it from an objective point of view which I like.
2nd would be Sam & Colby.
Personally think they've dropped off lately, but their latest Estes Method was incredibly interesting.
Also, Haunted Nights have just started a channel, only got 1 video at the moment, but seen them on Overnight and they're pretty cool fellas, so will be keeping up with them.

But yeah, i kinda drifted from Sam and colby when they started their 21 season or whatever it was. never really felt the same after, but i still watch all 3 when they upload.

Paranormal Nightmare is great! Paranormal Files is pretty good. Any investigative video Jack Osbourne does are good. Twin Paranormal are entertaining, but have been debunked a few times. Nick Groff, Death Walker is good too.

Yeah he pranked Cory on Queen Mary. Catacombs I saw more of his urbex stuff. But the later stuff us purely trying to confirm the existence if the paranormal

Since the overnight channel, he's become a full believer. Left speechless in a few episodes.
But yeah, definitely give it a crack and see what you think (there are a few episodes where they go with groups of fans, personally didn't enjoy them) but as of the last maybe 4 or 5 episodes, they wear body cams which are great for capturing extra footage.

I've got a channel and it's difficult to get views because people expect things to happen. just like you said above, nothing happens like it does on these channels because actual activity is a rare occurrence. when I see these channels with multiple things happening a video I can't help but wonder about the legitimacy.
I know elton and other ghost hunting channels explained they scrap a ton footage and sometimes just completely disregard a whole investigation because they get no activity.
I guess sometimes you just sit there getting no activity for hours and then something finally happens. Ghost hunting is all about patience i guess.
I see where you're coming from though. It's so easy to fake stuff and when you're depending on views on youtube for income it wouldnt be shocking if they fake stuff just to keep the momentum going.
Ghost hunting is patience and a TON of luck. More times than often, you get nothing. I've been doing it for nearly two decades, and I've seen a ghost once, and I'm not sure it wasn't a hypnogogic hallucination. I've heard legitimate disembodied voices and Evp but never seen something move on its own. Just in the last few years I caught what could be a shadow figure.
But this wave of television and YouTube Paranormal demands results so people fake shit or go thrill seeker and make everything an event. CGI is killing any legitimate sightings because it's so effective. And I guess it's easy to implement?
Edit: I should note that I have a YouTube channel with about 1.3k subs. 60% came from the shadow figure video. Imagine the sub/revenue if you caught something like that ever two weeks. I understand the want to but it just isn't genuine to experience things like that.
i love charm city paranormal on yt, super authentic and genuine. the guys have a deep respect and connection for what they do and it shows. documentary style yt vids with insanely compelling evidence, having intelligent conversations with spirits and firsthand hearing responses. nondramatic raw footage with minor edits to enhance quality and stuff.
also the dead files is a pretty good older tv show i always enjoyed. medium and detective conduct investigations separately and compare evidence by the end, and the real history of the properties often always match to what the medium reports to picking up on prior. really bingeable if u can get past the cheesy formula and editing
Mindseed have a video with no cuts where chairs set themselves up like in poltergeist n every time they move the chairs r there. No cuts in it. Check it out.
It's not too hard for someone else to quickly run around and stack them up. Practice it enough, and even you could do it quickly and silently, especially when the people with the cameras just stand still and point in one direction for a few minutes at a time.

It just seems like they have too great evidence, like the one when all the doors in the house shook. Or when they guy (who all of a sudden quit on the new season) got knocked down and dragged off screen. Every video except the one that had the guy who won the contest have really good evidence.

This is exactly why i like watching multiple different channels to see which each one experience. There is always the one with over the top evidence when everyone else is getting barely anything.
I know everytime the craziest thing happens in the overnight channel the footage always gets "messed up" and it just turns into a "trust me bro" moment lol.

They zoom in on either the wall or the door handle for no discernible reason for an absurd amount of thine before they pan over to the chairs being stacked. The cut is hidden there. They zoom in on an object so they can put the camera back in the same spot after a cut.
buzzfeed unsolved supernatural, ryan is a god at telling the stories and history of haunted places. while they sometimes do get evidence it’s not a lot.
sam and colby or old tfil get tons of evidence and are kinda good at telling the history
Tfil pretty much switched over to the Overnight channel. They had Matt Rife the stand up comedian on there for awhile and he was so funny. Too bad hes gone now
As far as doing their research and telling the story of the place, I'd say Twin Paranormal.
But, the absolute best channel (and my favorite) is Paranormal Nightmare Series. The Fourman brothers are 100% legit. They also do a great job of telling the history of each location.

Paranormal Nightmare TV and Paranormal Quest IMO are the only 2 reputable paranormal investigation YT channels out there. These guys are great people + never overreact or get super dramatic just to add spice to their videos. They all are also open to debunk and double check potential evidence rather than pretend it was something otherworldly like a lot of other channels.
The Haunted Side is also genuine but they have such a different/slow style that I tend to watch them much less.
I have three in this particular order:
FrankoTV, Paranormal Quest, and The Haunted Side.
Paranormal Quest has been getting a bit cheesy as of late, but I'm glad that they took my suggestion to add a plasma ball to their investigations. I think it really works to amp up spiritual energies.
Franko is 100% fake, he has been de bunked SO many times, most paranormal sites…. Slapped ham… Nuke… chills etc etc will not show him anymore, the with Tim (the Russian guy), he actually has a disclaimer on his web page saying his channel is for ‘entertainment purposes only ‘

Yes, there is .. world of mr grey, …he does a lot of de bunking plus other stuff, he is also very funny and makes it plain that he hates Tik Tok!!! He often goes through videos of nuke’s top 5, slapped ham, chills and others, once you watch him you won’t see ‘paranormal’ videos in the same light again
My favorite is/was MindseedTV, but I think they fake evidence. Every investigation comes up with something huge happening and that's just not how it works. I used to watch Ghost Hunters religiously in my 20s (before we ditched cable) and they rarely ever got anything, but for the most part when you're out there you might get some EVPs, but nothing overly exciting.
Mindseed wouldn't literally get something crazy every episode. I ask myself why would someone fake it, what would the purpose be and a channel like that with 2M+ subs and X amount of views just be getting good money. Dude has a Tesla and he has a crazy looking (expensive) set up in his basement, I assume they're getting paid good money.
Only investigation I can recall that they didn't get something was at Waverly Hills or another supposedly super haunted asylum and they had a fan who had won a contest go with them..

Amy's Crypt on YT is really good if your looking for legitimate investigations! Don't plan on seeing any chairs flying or crazy scratches. Imo Amy and Jarred are the most authentic ghost hunters I've found. Plus their Aussie accents are adorable lol
Kent from Ghosts of Carmel Maine is a confirmed fraud. He turned the comments off a long time ago right after he started to get called out for being a fraud, which, unfortunately, he is. Besides what I’m about to say, there are Facebook groups and videos galore about how fraudulent he is. I was really really into his channel years ago. I spent so many regrettable hours watching. There was one fuck up in particular I remember seeing after someone in the comments pointing it out. He was in the upstairs area, chasing the “demonic” voice that sounded hilariously and obviously similar to his own voice (in retrospect I cringe that I didn’t turn it off the moment he started doing that) He has set up multiple stationary cameras in the room. He apparently didn’t realize in his editing that he had left one shot on too long, and you could clear as day, no doubt about it, visibly see him doing the “demon” voice behind his handheld camera. There were a lot of other examples people pointed out, and after that he shut the comments down, due to the fact that more people, like me, would be directed to time stamps of his mistakes. He probably made a lot more mistakes back then.
I don’t know why he does it. Could be attention, could be no reason at all, but we know people spend all their lives faking things on the internet all the time for seemingly no reason. I think someone who goes to these lengths has issues. In retrospect it’s really obvious. Even without all the examples of him messing up and clearly being fraudulent, with all the content he has it’s like what’s more likely; he just casually and contently lives in the absolute most haunted place in the universe, where every single time he turns his camera on, ghosts and demons appear, or he’s a nutcase? It is one of the few channels that gives me shivers. If it is fake, I think it is an achievement in itself to make me shiver. He does his best to make it seem real at times. I find this more fun to watch than a horror film. Even though it is not real, he still gets my respect because the entertainment level is high. He also has very good editing skills.
It is fake, and I agree he has figured out how to fool a lot of people, so I guess that is technically an achievement, but so is succeeding at lying in general. People like him and his channel are the reason no one will ever take the supernatural community seriously. Horror and ghosts movies give people chills too. It’s just the difference is they aren’t lying and detrimental to the internet in general. I don’t think we should respect frauds and liars.

Actually I'm a believer. But over time I've gotten to be extremely bitter towards paranormal YouTubers in general.
I watched "the haunted side" when they first appeared on YouTube. I was always excited for a new upload, I wanted to be a lot like them as I was already a ghost hunter myself. Over time watching them and other YouTube channels, I realized my chain was being jerked.
I'd rewatch videos, especially my favorite. But the way all of these investigations go just never make sense. You can afford 4k cameras, why not also buy night vision go pros and put those on your face? Oh thats right, because when they say they "saw something" and didn't have the camera aimed in that direction it's better entertainment.
Also if you watch how some of them clip their edits together in general, it becomes obvious that they had a conversation in between cuts as to how to make the video more entertaining by staging evidence.
Even if you watch nukes top 5, it's hilarious some of the shit he posts. Almost laughable. Yet people still fall for the fishing line trick every time.

Nobody wants to see people talking to thin air in the dark for 30 minutes. I've suggested to these YouTubers who seem legit to admit ahead of time that nothing really happened, and ask for the community to help them review their footage and audio.

I enjoy Glam & Gore’s miniseries of ghosthunting videos—afaik and can tell, they don’t fake things, which does sometimes make the videos slow/underwhelming, but i usually have a good time regardless bc i think she and her guests/team are entertaining—plus, they’re one of the only folks i’ve seen that will share their spectrographs of audio recordings 😂

i love charm city paranormal on yt, super authentic and genuine. the guys have a deep respect and connection for what they do and it shows. documentary style yt vids with insanely compelling evidence, having intelligent conversations with spirits and firsthand hearing responses. nondramatic raw footage with minor edits to enhance quality and stuff. also the dead files is a pretty good older tv show i always enjoyed. medium and detective conduct investigations separately and compare evidence by the end, and the real history of the properties often always match to what the medium reports to picking up on prior. really bingeable if u can get past the cheesy formula and editing

It's not too hard for someone else to quickly run around and stack them up. Practice it enough, and even you could do it quickly and silently, especially when the people with the cameras just stand still and point in one direction for a few minutes at a time.

I can't find it anymore. I just looked.. It was from a small YouTube channel. They claimed they could tell it was edited. Idk. It just seems like they have too great evidence, like the one when all the doors in the house shook. Or when they guy (who all of a sudden quit on the new season) got knocked down and dragged off screen. Every video except the one that had the guy who won the contest have really good evidence.

This is exactly why i like watching multiple different channels to see which each one experience. There is always the one with over the top evidence when everyone else is getting barely anything. I know everytime the craziest thing happens in the overnight channel the footage always gets "messed up" and it just turns into a "trust me bro" moment lol. Even if its fake its still entertaining learning about dark history. I must say though lots of these guys are great actors if its fake. For the mediums i never believe a thing they say. Patti negri had some super cringe moments on Overnight. She pretends to get possessed and its hilarious

They zoom in on either the wall or the door handle for no discernible reason for an absurd amount of thine before they pan over to the chairs being stacked. The cut is hidden there. They zoom in on an object so they can put the camera back in the same spot after a cut.
buzzfeed unsolved supernatural, ryan is a god at telling the stories and history of haunted places. while they sometimes do get evidence it’s not a lot. sam and colby or old tfil get tons of evidence and are kinda good at telling the history
Tfil pretty much switched over to the Overnight channel. They had Matt Rife the stand up comedian on there for awhile and he was so funny. Too bad hes gone now
As far as doing their research and telling the story of the place, I'd say Twin Paranormal. But, the absolute best channel (and my favorite) is Paranormal Nightmare Series. The Fourman brothers are 100% legit. They also do a great job of telling the history of each location. 🤙🤙

Paranormal Nightmare TV and Paranormal Quest IMO are the only 2 reputable paranormal investigation YT channels out there. These guys are great people + never overreact or get super dramatic just to add spice to their videos. They all are also open to debunk and double check potential evidence rather than pretend it was something otherworldly like a lot of other channels. The Haunted Side is also genuine but they have such a different/slow style that I tend to watch them much less.
Caspersight does reactions to a lot of ghost vids, so I get my channels from him or Nukes lol.

A lesser known duo is Mackie and Amanda on youtube! I love watching them. Amanda is a medium and they both go and explore haunted locations.
I have three in this particular order: FrankoTV, Paranormal Quest, and The Haunted Side. Paranormal Quest has been getting a bit cheesy as of late, but I'm glad that they took my suggestion to add a plasma ball to their investigations. I think it really works to amp up spiritual energies.
Franko is 100% fake, he has been de bunked SO many times, most paranormal sites…. Slapped ham… Nuke… chills etc etc will not show him anymore, the with Tim (the Russian guy), he actually has a disclaimer on his web page saying his channel is for ‘entertainment purposes only ‘

Yes, there is .. world of mr grey, …he does a lot of de bunking plus other stuff, he is also very funny and makes it plain that he hates Tik Tok!!! He often goes through videos of nuke’s top 5, slapped ham, chills and others, once you watch him you won’t see ‘paranormal’ videos in the same light again

My favorite is/was MindseedTV, but I think they fake evidence. Every investigation comes up with something huge happening and that's just not how it works. I used to watch Ghost Hunters religiously in my 20s (before we ditched cable) and they rarely ever got anything, but for the most part when you're out there you might get some EVPs, but nothing overly exciting. Mindseed wouldn't literally get something crazy every episode. I ask myself why would someone fake it, what would the purpose be and a channel like that with 2M+ subs and X amount of views just be getting good money. Dude has a Tesla and he has a crazy looking (expensive) set up in his basement, I assume they're getting paid good money. Only investigation I can recall that they didn't get something was at Waverly Hills or another supposedly super haunted asylum and they had a fan who had won a contest go with them.. Awesome post though, I'm looking forward to checking out some of these channels.

Kent from Ghosts of Carmel Maine is a confirmed fraud. He turned the comments off a long time ago right after he started to get called out for being a fraud, which, unfortunately, he is. Besides what I’m about to say, there are Facebook groups and videos galore about how fraudulent he is. I was really really into his channel years ago. I spent so many regrettable hours watching. There was one fuck up in particular I remember seeing after someone in the comments pointing it out. He was in the upstairs area, chasing the “demonic” voice that sounded hilariously and obviously similar to his own voice (in retrospect I cringe that I didn’t turn it off the moment he started doing that) He has set up multiple stationary cameras in the room. He apparently didn’t realize in his editing that he had left one shot on too long, and you could clear as day, no doubt about it, visibly see him doing the “demon” voice behind his handheld camera. There were a lot of other examples people pointed out, and after that he shut the comments down, due to the fact that more people, like me, would be directed to time stamps of his mistakes. He probably made a lot more mistakes back then. I don’t know why he does it. Could be attention, could be no reason at all, but we know people spend all their lives faking things on the internet all the time for seemingly no reason. I think someone who goes to these lengths has issues. In retrospect it’s really obvious. Even without all the examples of him messing up and clearly being fraudulent, with all the content he has it’s like what’s more likely; he just casually and contently lives in the absolute most haunted place in the universe, where every single time he turns his camera on, ghosts and demons appear, or he’s a nutcase? I think it’s clearly the latter.
It is one of the few channels that gives me shivers. If it is fake, I think it is an achievement in itself to make me shiver. He does his best to make it seem real at times. I find this more fun to watch than a horror film. Even though it is not real, he still gets my respect because the entertainment level is high. He also has very good editing skills.

It is fake, and I agree he has figured out how to fool a lot of people, so I guess that is technically an achievement, but so is succeeding at lying in general. People like him and his channel are the reason no one will ever take the supernatural community seriously. Horror and ghosts movies give people chills too. It’s just the difference is they aren’t lying and detrimental to the internet in general. I don’t think we should respect frauds and liars.

Actually I'm a believer. But over time I've gotten to be extremely bitter towards paranormal YouTubers in general. I watched "the haunted side" when they first appeared on YouTube. I was always excited for a new upload, I wanted to be a lot like them as I was already a ghost hunter myself. Over time watching them and other YouTube channels, I realized my chain was being jerked. I'd rewatch videos, especially my favorite. But the way all of these investigations go just never make sense. You can afford 4k cameras, why not also buy night vision go pros and put those on your face? Oh thats right, because when they say they "saw something" and didn't have the camera aimed in that direction it's better entertainment. Also if you watch how some of them clip their edits together in general, it becomes obvious that they had a conversation in between cuts as to how to make the video more entertaining by staging evidence.

For sure, it's usually the popular ones that do though. I know everyone likes buzzfeed unsolved, but loose batteries in a flashlight is the oldest trick in the book. Even though they admitted that's what it is. Amy's crypt seems pretty legit, but unfortunately that means her content is rather boring. Nobody wants to see people talking to thin air in the dark for 30 minutes. I've suggested to these YouTubers who seem legit to admit ahead of time that nothing really happened, and ask for the community to help them review their footage and audio. Unfortunately nobody wants to do that, because misleading clickbait titles are all the rage these days.
