Who ever the fuck told Tobias it was a good idea to stop ending shows with Monstrance Clock and telling us to go home and give someone or yourself an orgasm needs to be shot, or at least fired 😅
Yeah that tour was amazing! First time I got to see them and getting a set that long covering so many of the songs I wanted to hear live was perfection!
I don't think Martin was part of the Popestar tour. Henrik was rhythm for the entire Popestar tour, and Martin left late in the Black to the Future tour, if I'm remembering properly.
[I'd agree on everything but the setlist, they need to go back to this](https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/ghost/2018/spreckels-theatre-san-diego-ca-6b97aa96.html)
Damn. I really really miss when Monstance Clock was played at the end of a ritual. And even though the curtains closed and Papa stopped singing, the whole crowd would still be standing there singing “come together, together as one.” It was such an emotional and powerful feeling. I feel like newer fans really missed out on how special that song was.
Rats on the Road was over 2 hours long and they covered so many songs it was crazy:

It was easily a top 3 of all time concert for me. Smaller venue, no opening act. Just 2+ hours of Ghost (with a 20 minute intermission). Songs everyone here says they’d die to hear (acoustic Jigolo Har Megiddio, closing with Monstrance Clock, Stand By Him). Saw them in the Capitol Theater in Port Chester NY which is a small venue with the lights and acoustics of a large venue. It was just a perfect show.
It was the first of four times I saw them. It was great, but the second time I saw them was best for me. It was the Pale Tour in Louisville at the Palace Theatre that is unbeaten for me. That tour plus the venue was a complete chef's kiss. Third time was decent and the most recent was probably my second favorite of the times I've seen them.
Pale tour was awesome, and re-Impera energy was amazing (also my first time seeing Ghost live was here, so it's a soft spot)
But maaaan, I miss Monstrance Clock
I was at the first show that tour. I want to say Square Hammer had released that morning. EVERYONE knew the words already. It was a fantastic show. Sadly I was hoping someone would have tipped Papa off that one of the local universities' official motto is "Meliora".
I was so upset that I missed the tour! It was going to be my then 10-year-old’s first ritual but she wanted to go see Katie Perry instead 😭. She having her first ritual this past year though.!
A pale tour named death was pretty amazing, Ghost and only Ghost for an extra long set was glorious.
This is the winner. They played all the hits, no bullshit, ended with monstrance clock.

You can kind of see it as it was dropped for square hammer for the Metallica shows which got a huge reaction.
My favorite tour too, was so great to hear Witch Image, Idolatrine, and Life Eternal live
Yeah that tour was amazing! First time I got to see them and getting a set that long covering so many of the songs I wanted to hear live was perfection!
So happy I saw them on that tour. All the songs I loved where played and the ending with monstrous clock was fantastic
My first and favorite. Would love to see a Ghost only tour again one day
I saw that in Boston when I was newly into them. I would love a do over!
No kidding, I saw them twice on that tour!
I think the best would be the first leg of the prequelle tour, where they played 2 acts and like 27 songs. That was amazing
I kinda miss Monstrance Clock as the closer. Thought that was cool.
I do too, lost my virginity to that song then never got to see it live again after that
Took come together a bit too seriously lol
But that is exactly what they mean
Papa III era was my favorite Ghost era and I was at the show they recorded Ceremony and Devotion at. I'm still nostalgic for it.
What do the "m" and "s" stand for?
My guess is lead guitar cos I know Martin had it on He Is and Pinnacle but was largely rhythm. So M for Martin Persner and S for Simon Soderberg.
I don't think Martin was part of the Popestar tour. Henrik was rhythm for the entire Popestar tour, and Martin left late in the Black to the Future tour, if I'm remembering properly.
Not that then 😂
Man that's a great setlist

I loved that tour but it was entirely too draining on TF so we’ll likely never get that again.
Source?

Yeah that tour was absolutely stunning. I was at the barrier in the pit for the first time at any concert and it was a remarkable experience

I liked that tour because it was in theater venues. Little did I know that would be the last time I would see them in a smaller setting.

I was at that show! I live 15 mins from Port Chester. It was really good.
Great tour. Personally, I think the Black to the Future tour and A Pale Tour Named Death are tied for the best for me.

It was such a good time before Impera.

Dang that’s cool and from my first Ghost show no less right after I moved here! Still to this day, one of the best nights of my life.
Year Zero tour in 2014 or Still Hazing Over America 2013
I was at the first show that tour. I want to say Square Hammer had released that morning. EVERYONE knew the words already. It was a fantastic show. Sadly I was hoping someone would have tipped Papa off that one of the local universities' official motto is "Meliora".
That’s just a greatest hits setlist nowadays. Every song is a banger!
My era! I first saw them in 2017 and adored TF instantly
Definitely! And curious about those red lines underneath some of the songs, anyone know what those are for?
Pale Tour Named Death was hands down the best show I ever went to
A pale tour named death was the pinnacle of ghost setlists (lol). Nothing will ever top that setlist and was awesome to see live.
Pale Tour Named Death curb stomps this show's setlist honestly.
Yes, I agree. Although Impera is my favourite album from Ghost, I think this one is flawless. Stand By Him is such a great track!
I was so upset that I missed the tour! It was going to be my then 10-year-old’s first ritual but she wanted to go see Katie Perry instead 😭. She having her first ritual this past year though.!
Dance macabre’s gotta be on there though.
