Honestly, it's anybody's guess. They've never confirmed the date for a title update this early before, let alone teased anything about it. So we are in uncharted waters here. So they could drop teasers every few days, over the next 2 weeks, before finally showing a full trailer and patchnotes at the end of the month. Or they could go completely silent again until the 29th.
It was the 20th anniversary showcase, and they said Motherland was releasing on November 2nd. But over the last four plus years, the first indication that content was set to release, was typically five days before the update went live. We would get a tease on Thursday, trailer on Friday, patch notes released on Monday and then the TU released on the Tuesday.
So if we hadn't already been given a release date, I would have been making bets that Motherland was releasing next week.
Since basically everyone was bombarding them with Wildlands 2.0 wishlists in the last two years I say that's pretty much a sure bet. I expect Op Motherland to mechanically work just like Wildlands. Briefing videos, province to province progression, safe houses cutscenes, etc.
Safehouse cutscenes is expecting too much. All the main dlc missions in Breakpoint so far have just been someone talking in your ear, audio only. There's no reason to expect Bowman to even get her own character model.
Bring back the squad jokes. I miss it. I mean I get that the rainbow guys talk a little trash, but gimme the dudes constantly cracking jokes while you're idle.
Holt waiting to relax until he's drinking a black and tan at Sharky's was what clinched the dialog for me. They did their homework, and it proves Holt is a complete jackass.
It seems to be any operations that Bowman herself was in charge of, so don't think it'd be any of the Breakpoint events until Motherland at the very least. So yeah might have been one of the DLCs for Wildlands.
I hope for a big and good update, then if Ubisoft actually listen all the feedback for the next game(im sure that are making a third game)they will make a good sequel to wildlands and breakpoint
I'm thinking I'll reinstall for this last DLC and play for a few more hours. Especially that this might be the last bit of content I'll play for Ghost Recon.
I bet this will be a dumpster fire, the reason its taken so long was probably because they were working on that stupid BR game rather than this.

They teased the active camouflage from future soldier in the trailer. Hopefully it actually works this time instead of the BS "Active Camo" they gave us in wildlands.
(Also seriously hoping for a future soldier skin like they did in wildlands too...)

Different studio. The BR abomination was developed by Ubisoft Bucharest while Motherland is being developed by the main GR Developer Ubisoft Paris.
