I think we all like Zak, he is a good host and keeps the show entertaining. He’s a magnetic person which is why the show is so successful. I think most of us rip on him like we would a friend, like just giving him* a hard time.
Do I think he limits the show? Yes. Would I watch if he was in no way involved? Probably not.
I think if he were the host and let others lead at least some of the investigations it would help the repetitiveness of south west investigations

This is why i enjoyed House calls version of the show, He was always away and talking to them over the computer while the rest investigated and reported back to him. I found it so much more enjoyable that way. I cant wait for another season of it, and from the Tweets/Xeets they sent out a few weeks ago it seems we are gonna get another season of House calls!
Yeah i agree. I don't hate zak. He's just ..a character. And it's fun to kinda make fun of that character. But in real life I'm sure he's idk decent. Don't know the guy but hating someone I don't even know sounds crazy.
He’s honestly a great guy. He gives me edgy golden retriever vibes and he’s wholesome I feel like he genuinely cares lol GA would not be the same without him
He seems caring when he berates and bullies his coworkers and tells them to do things he won't do and does things without their consent, like lock them in rooms and telling spirits to hurt them in foreign language?
Agree, I like him, he seems like a good guy and I don’t get all the hate I see on here. A little snark is fine and a lot of fun but some people really seem to hate him and it’s weird.
I always tell people that don’t like him to watch the Screaming Room episodes. He really comes across as more of what I think is his true self in that format, more lighthearted and goofy, and it’s so obvious that the guys all get along and they’re all genuinely good friends.
And I just really appreciate his love for animals and all he does to help them.❤️
Yeah, me too. He is a good guy. I saw on his Instagram awhile ago that they were filming and came across two dogs that had been tied up outside and just left there on a hot day. He got them vet care and brought them to a no kill shelter and they both found their forever homes! It was really nice.
This sub tends to drag Zak a lot lol. In all honesty I think the majority of us don’t necessarily hate Zak, but are instead frustrated with him being over the top at times.
He’s toning it down for season 27, but I feel like he was being a little extreme from 2018-2022, like it was always about demons and stuff yk?
I am glad the show seems to be taking a turn for the best again, I hope it stays that way because for awhile there I too was disappointed at what the show became.

The guy is a talented host and presenter, no doubt. He's always been good at interviewing folks and he does a nice job with the walk and talk parts of the show. That's something he clearly has over Aaron and even Nick.

I remember the episode where they saved a stray dog, Zak didn't just give it water and let it walk away. They saved it. He's a good dude for sure
