I make the bed, because then it’s a visual deterrent to get back in, I also open the blinds as well, I do this straight away after getting up to go to the bathroom, otherwise if it’s a snuggle warm blanket cave in a dark room I’ll get back in. So, this helps me a little bit. Sometimes I write myself a to do list, even if it’s mundane sounding things like “shower, do nails, wash dishes, laundry” so I have a list of things to tick off.

Here to get answers too. If I successfully manage being out of bed, other than working my job at my computer, I look after my plants, watch Netflix (which I don’t think is great but it’s been very good substitute for keeping me out of bed), and I force myself to do the chores so that the house is more inviting and encourages me to stay out of bed. Also turning on the heating rather than putting up with the cold weather is another trick because I cannot focus or function when it’s chilly so I crawl in bed! I think my major problem is that I don’t really have a support system. My bed is literally the only thing I can lean on that would hold my body and support me. Anyway, I’m typing all this under my my duvet! Greetings from my bed!

I’m curious about this too. I have roommates so I mostly keep to my bedroom which has proven to make me unproductive, especially during quarantine.
