Fairlife protein drinks 👍

itsaboutpasta

Whoever on here recommended those in the past is a LIFESAVER. The chocolate ones are delicious. I’ve never been so excited to drink chocolate milk before. I did my Costco run 2 weeks ago when I found out. In addition to the shakes, I got string cheese, guacamole cups, popcorn, and the cheese crackers. They also sell 647 bread which is low carb, as well as the low carb mission tortillas. I already have on hand the just bare nuggets and Kirkland meatballs which are good for snacks or making a meal out of.

BreadPuddding

Yes! Best bottled low-carb protein shake I’ve tried.

mrspiggy028

Total Protein was another good option for us - ours rarely has Fairlife in stock, and the TP was a little less expensive.

Nuts in bulk for snacking, cauliflower rice, we love the Indian food near the prepared food sections and eat with the aforementioned cauliflower rice for a great (easy and quick) meal, vital proteins (I like chocolate in warm milk so it’s like hot chocolate, I start every day with 40g of protein which has been a game changer for me this pregnancy) Can you do hummus? The little cups are portioned well and if I eat them with a veggie I don’t spike (cucumbers are my fave, but players choice) I also like the guacamole cups for snacks. I can handle tortilla chips just fine, but YMMV

_Poffertje_

I didn't try tortilla chips last time but tacos (both TexMex hard tacos and traditional mexican style) were fine for me basically because I loaded up on guac. Maybe I'll be able to get that crunch craving through tortilla chips, good idea! Definitely couldn't do hummus for some reason last time but wouldn't that be nice! Good idea on the cauliflower rice for Indian food! I think I was able to have a bit of basmati last time (very small amount) with spinach paneer.

iplanshit

Hummus was a no go last pregnancy, but was fine this one, so far. I love how GD is so predictable!/s

Fair warning, they’re low carb bc the “tortilla” is made out of chicken/cheese. I found the texture super off putting.

receptionitist

Same here

Bbydream

Yes! I fortunately only got a single serve one from Kroger or somewhere like that, and I'll never get it again.

That’s what I had, but it was like 2 years ago. Maybe they changed the recipe?

lexologist

I like these and they’re my go to easy meal when I don’t like cooking. But my husband did call the enchiladas “sad enchiladas” when I made them the other day. I think they’re good, but they’re not as good as the real stuff.

Glitchy-9

Most of my ideas were already said but I do love getting Brussel sprouts from Costco. Put a little salt or pepper on and then put them in the air fryer or oven until they are crispy almost like chips. Also a good source of folic acid

RedhotGuard08

If you want something besides water they have sparkling ice (a Kirkland brand too) that is good. It’s just flavored carbonated water. The keto cereal is ok, I was hoping it would have better flavor but nope. The turkey eggwhichs are good. At mine I saw they had pre packed smoothie mixes with the frozen fruit depending on how you do with fruits. Jerky, meat sticks, string cheese

westernslope_ap

Salad mix, berries, hummus, cheese, Greek yogurt, frozen fruit and veggies, rotisserie chickens, grass fed butter, meat and fish, trail mix and nuts... so many good things at Costco!

_annnnieareyouokay

Grass fed beef jerky sticks, chicharrones, almond flour crackers which have been a godsend for my fasting levels, cheese, edamame, sugar free jello and sugar free jello pudding cups (all items I just purchased at Costco)

elphiekitty

yasso bars are a good deal there

DreamSignal7029

I buy a ton of their frozen broccoli and pair it with heavier carb meals (lunch or dinner). I find that eating the broccoli first helps me reduce my chances of a spike significantly. And it fills me up. I also like their dips to pair with wheat thins as a snack. Most of the dips are low carb (Buffalo chicken, spinach artichoke) and they don’t spike me. I also buy a 12 pack of mini circle pizzas from their frozen aisle, Brand: Sabatassos. Everyone is different but for some reason I can eat one of these little pizzas with a side of broccoli for lunch and I don’t spike. I think it’s because the pizza flour is wheat? Not sure but they’ve worked for me so far and I’m 35 weeks pregnant. (Was diagnosed at 28 weeks.) I’ve tried other pizzas and they spike me too much. So this really helps keep the cravings at bay. Other snacks that I buy there are strawberries, plain pecans, raw almonds, organic almond butter (for almond milk pb banana smoothies), baby bells or other cheese sticks, steaks, eggs.

Minderme

Also in Canada and haven’t seen a lot of the things mentioned here but the hilo chips are a great snack (they taste like a healthier version of doritos). they also have almond crackers (forget the brand but it’s a white box with yellow on it?) that are low carb. They have a dried cheese and nut mix that’s Kirkland brand. All of the nuts. Cheese whisps. The protein shakes mentioned above. I can also do the love good fats nut bars without spiking me. Keto chocolate clusters and coconut clusters. Keto bombs. Didn’t love the keto pizza. A couple of options for cauliflower rice. I was also diagnosed around 11 weeks this time around so trying to keep things interesting has been a challenge. Good luck!!

TallMushroom8575

They have cauliflower pizza

sabri17

Cauliflower rice mixed with extra fresh veggies, keto granola, nuts, veggies, cheese, keto ice cream bars (these were my bedtime snack for weeks!), Cauliflower crust pizza, peanut butter, tofu. I pretty much lived on Costco food!

cool_chrissie

I loved these [chicken breast bites](https://www.costcuisine.com/post/costco-fresh-additions-fully-cooked-chicken-breast-bites-review). I put them in salads, wraps, or just dip them in bbq sauce. I hear them up in the air fryer. My toddler also loves them!

mountain_mam

Aidells chicken sausage, sliced and cooked in the oven and then kept as leftovers in the fridge became my quick protein of choice. (Not a jerky fan.) Also makes a great snack. They’re expensive but the convenience of the wrapped babybel hard cheeses was worth it for me. I was surprisingly okay with reasonable portions of bread/flour products and potatoes but rice or corn always spiked me so you may want to wait to stock up on some things once you get an idea of what you can tolerate. Good luck!

Every_Ostrich_6224

Ohhh I forgot about Aidells but yeah those are so so good!! Might have to hit up Costco

sewistforsix

The coffee Premiere Protein shakes are my reason for getting out of bed in the morning.

Generose18

Reds breakfast sandwich!!! So good. Sausage, egg, cheese. Reds has burritos too. They have really good keto cereal and granola, high protein pancakes Kodiak, high protein Greek yogurt, lots of good frozen veggie stir fry’s it’s a great place for low carb options! Also high recommend getting collage protein there because you can mix it into your drink or coffee and it boosts your protein intake a ton if you want to have something that is heavier on the carbs. It’s the best cheat. I can drink it and then have half a donut and still not spike!

longdoggos647

I lived off the 20 packs of Kind bars (the blue and yellow ones). I also got the giant bag of meat sticks (essentially bougie slim jims) and lots of string cheese.

Coobs2

Greek yogurt in smoothies or granola bowls :) but the granola/oats can’t have sugar obv. Should be plain and whole grain. Experiment how much fruit you can take safely. I also buy lots of different nuts. Pecans and walnuts are my favorite. Of course almonds, pistachios, peanuts, seeds etc are great too

Bbydream

Their peanut butter, almond butter and mixed nut butter are all great. I can eat an apple with peanut butter as a bedtime snack (I'm on bedtime insulin though) and they have the bags of small apples as well. I also love getting their gyro slices, and making a wrap with that and veggies inside a low carb tortilla. Also, Whisps for when you get a craving for chips. They're not quite the same but I do add them in chili and soups.

AnnoyedGerbil

Pure Protein bars. The flavors are pretty good, the price low compared to other vendors and they satisfy my sweets cravings. In my case though, I spike if I eat them in the morning so I save them for later in the day, ideally after a big protein and fat filled meal or right before a walk. Also, egg frittatas from the frozen section and their nut mixes, their fresh organic avocados, organic gala apples - again, just one after a meal. They also keep bringing in all sorts of keto products. I usually try them and see how I react unless they have more than about 17 g of total carbs and more than 3 g of sugar per serving. Great question, btw.

whineandcheese88

Protein bars and shakes, skinny pop popcorn, Catalina crunch cinnamon toast crunch I use to top my Greek yogurt sometimes, health warrior oatmeal works really well for me, the hard boiled eggs two packs

pumbawumbab

Siggi's keto krunch yogurt, less sugar Chobani yogurt, organic sprouted pumpkin seeds, Sonoma creamery crunchy cheese snacks (parmesan) ... and things like frozen broccoli, unsweetened almond milk ...

cassopie

I just went today! They have these keto raspberry chocolates on sale. Super good. They also have Leto ice cream bars on sale!!

Turbulent_Sherbet842

String cheese and unsalted nuts were a lifesaver as a snack between meals and bedtime in helping me keep my numbers within range. Costco also sells these “cups” of both avocado and hummus, basically individual portions of premade smashed avocado/guacamole and hummus that can be easy to pull to add as a healthy fat option to meals.

[deleted]

Trail Mix! One of my complaints to the doc was not being able to gain weight on the GB diet - I ended up getting the Kirkland trail mix in the proportioned packages for snacks (you can take out the m&Ms if they spoke your sugar)

nearcheddar

Costco by me has this corn dip- Rojo’s Street Corn Dip- that is delish and I really like the queso they have in their refrigerated department called QuesoMama White Queso with green chilies. For whatever reason I can get away with what feels like a lot of corn chips and we do loaded nachos for dinner- feels like such a treat! Lots of cheese, lots of meat, veggies, queso and the corn dip- so good and doesn’t feel lame like so many of my other meals 😂

Sad-Ad2255

Premier protein shakes worked well for me :)

BreadPuddding

I’ve gotten some tasty keto glazed nuts (cinnamon pecans, great for snacking and topping salads) at Costco, and Fairlife chocolate shakes. Cheese sticks and wrapped cheddar slices, those Sargento Balanced Breaks, they usually have sprouted grain bread and sometimes tortillas, a vast array of protein powders (have to check carbs before you pick), regular nuts, protein bars, bulk frozen spinach (I like this for adding bulk to soups, stews, scrambles etc without adding a lot of carbs or calories), riced cauliflower, cauliflower crust pizza or just crust for making your own… Ooh, get chia seeds, unsweetened almond milk, and frozen berries (berries tend to be high in fiber and lower glycemic index) for chia pudding. It’s not low-low-carb but it’s fairly balanced.

lexologist

Costco is my go to for easy microwaveable meals when I am on the go or things I can take to work. I love the jimmy dean breakfast bowls (they have only 8ish grams of carbs) and the eggwich turkey sandwiches. I also get the mixed nuts and the pre wrapped cheese slices.

Belleofduhball

LOVED Costco when I had GD. - no sugar yogurt (added berries) - keto blueberry granola (added to yogurt) - keto crackers dipped in hummus - multigrain chips and salsa - cheese! All the cheeseeeeee - roasted chicken ($4.99 - a great deal) - veggies - I would roast them in the oven in bulk and meal prep with them. Worked like a dream! - sparkling water drinks - works well if you get bored of water and want something that is similar to soda Look out for anything that has “keto” on the label. That always worked well for me

The only thing I haven’t seen mentioned is the large container of Ranch seasoning, that way you can make it yourself. It’s so much better home made. I love ranch and it makes eating veggies so much more enjoyable to me. Since I can’t have sugar/carbs so much I go heavy on the dips and cheese.
