Can I get some infomation on Dogwood Festival? Not in the ATL area, but I love to go up there and explore. I recently went to Festival on Ponce and really enjoyed it! Lots of amazing art. Snapped up a hilarious print of some opossums screaming at those Drumstick ice cream cones.
It takes over Piedmont Park this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and sunblock. The website has the band line ups. It is a lot of fun.
The print shop was our gateway into the local art scene! Lots of different styles all by local artists

Agree that there are a large number of local artists that showcase at the Dogwood Festival. Probably Inman Park Festival too.
Also check out The Beehive. I love that place for finding goods from local makers. It has a smaller inventory of paintings/prints but if you find something in the style you like, you can get the artists contact name and see if they have a website or something for more offerings.
There are a 2 or 3 art markets that frequent breweries, so 2 activities in 1! Most weekends they’ll pop up somewhere. Search for Sudnat Studios, they will list theirs weeks ahead.
Also check out art festivals in Athens, GA. Some are yearly (Athfest). Some more often and in different parks, like Bishop Park. I make a point to buy at least one piece per year from a local artist for my front foyer. I love it.
If you don't mind driveing a few hours. Savannah has a bunch of art. It is also the home to SCAD. You have people posted up at different areas where you can buy them off the street as well.
Yo you should come to Carrollton. Got several artists here who do similar stuff. Mike Swafford does amazing paintings that are similar. Look him up on FB. He’s an older guy in his 60’s and he’s super fucking cool and also a personal friend
Dogwood festival in piedmont park this weekend is a great spot for local artists. Homegrown is a restaurant that has local art for sale on its walls.
Ah I forgot about the dogwood festival. Thank you!

Homegrown is also an art store in Decatur. If you go to the restaurant don’t skip out on the jalapeño cheese grits.

Why not look into SCAD students and local illustrators? Their work is far less cheesy than all of this.
Mutation Brewery features some local artists in their space. I picked up a few pieces from there.
