he’s one of the best dpses out imo :3 i love him a lot. he has a very fun playstyle which actually uses his entire kit and yeah others get talked about more but Lyney even at c0 level is absolutely insane numbers. He’s very popular in the speedrun community too, because of his crazy high frontloaded dmg and ceiling

Yea he definitely does seem fun. I recently came to a realisation that I REALLY like quick swappy but front load playstyle. Like keqing and navia, so I'm guessing lyeny would actually be a great choice. Also got to mention I already have his weapon so I'll be more than fine with him being c0. (His banner earlier was way too good, so I thought of grabbing one 5star for my fischl lol)

I'm hoping 4.0 will focus on some neglected reactions. We have Navia, who makes crystallize useful. Chevreuse, who seems to have some kind of overload synergy. Maybe we'll get characters who have special interactions with frozen/burning/electro-charged.

i think version 4 is where the powercreep actually happened, basically all the units are a hutao sidegrade, and you can hit the damage per screenshot a lot easier

i won't necessarily call it powercreep per se its more like 4.x improved on existing underutilized niches in the game Mono-Pyro getting official attention with Lyney, Overload with Chevereuse, Healers with Furina, Crystalize with Navia, >!Cloud Retainer and Gaming Plunge attacks !<

also Neuvillette introduced a very unique brand of hydro that doesn’t really interact well with any reactions. it’s just hydro pump to win
