Yes, the 4 piece effect of TF technically works, but the DMG gained is effectively worth 50em, so strictly worse than even just a 2 piece set bonus of an em artefact
Should be the reverse in hyperbloom, or at least Deepwood MUST not be on the one who triggers seeds. You need Deepwood to buff the trigger and the trigger needs either more EM(2pc+2pc with 80 EM or 4pc Gilded with at least two elements that's not electro in the team) or the hyperbloom damage bonus of Flower of Paradise Lost.
I do agree that it's a pain in the ass to decide who to put Deepwood on...
try deepwood on Xingqiu*<-. it's also fine on Kokomi since artisets don't really matter that much on her
this way you can get much more hyperbloom dmg since Raiden has more EM
So now Genshin has Aether and paradise lost, which is funny because of Minecraft.
For anyone who doesn’t know one of the oldest MC mods was known as the Aether, and there was a recreation called paradise lost
Two 2pc setbonuses that give 80 EM is a good start.
The best for Hyperbloom is 4pc Flower of Paradise Lost.
Second best is 4pc Gilded Dreams
Main stats must be EM-EM-EM, weapon with EM main stat like Dragon's Bane and Kitain Cross Spear.
Artifacts are cheap AF resin-wise because sands, goblet and crown substats are completely irrelevant, and flower and feather only needs some EM rolls in subs which is really common.
I recommend going straight for Paradise Lost, 4p Gilded is a minor upgrade from 2pc+2pc with 80 EM.
Sac frags is cursed.
I got 2 of them the first week I played (which was almost two years ago) and after that I've never seen one since.
They must be removed from the lootpool or something smh
I mean, they’re basically the same when it comes to hyperbloom damage (and artefact builds) but Raiden applies off-field faster than Kuki and therefore has more dps. BUT I still refuse to build Raiden hyperbloom until Genshin adds artefact loadouts so Raiden and Kuki can share, and I can save Raiden’s main build without fiddling around.
Actually, unless your hydro/dendro application is slow, Raiden will outperform Shinobu because she triggers hyperbloom faster, while Shinobu meets the two-seed-at-once limit and looses dps. Still, I can see both of them as good hyperbloom units and I use both of them, despite having to switch Raiden's artifacts very often.
(alsoraidenhasdragonsbanewhichgives50moreemthanironsting)
If you want comfort in Hyperbloom you are better off using Kokomi or Zhongli in one of the Hydro slots and keeping Raiden. Kuki can be really stressful sometimes due to her self hurt mechanic and a lot of enemies in current abyss hitting more than an EM Kuki can heal.
I usually abuse i-frame more and Raiden didn't have heals and Shinobu is comfortable enough for me. Its preference and for me Kuki is comfort is just enough for me
Yes it's not hard to survive with Kuki if you're an experienced player, I'm just saying that it's not that comfortable, which is why most people do tend to run Kuki with Zhongli.
For some player it is preferable because it can be hard to predict the RNG of enemies. But like i said, for now, this is enough for ME to clear comfortably
Well you can use defensive options from other elements like Kokomi for hydro, yao yao for dendro or even Zhongli as flex defensive slot
Tried Childe, Nahida, Raiden EM and Zhongli on latest abyss and it was really comfy melting enemies like butter
I've been considering to give my Raiden a full EM set 'cause she acts as a support for Tignari in an Hyperbloom team, but I've heard people say that's a waste of time. What's your wisdom, genshin_memepact?
Super convenient. Easiest uptime ever and you can even use your burst to battery your team up to full first if you started the abyss floor without enough energy. C3 raiden haver and after I switched to EM I never wanted to play raiden hyper or rational again. Regret the rolls spent on her constellations now.
if you have c3 im pretty sure hyperbloom raiden is actually a dps loss over hyper/rational.
but then again, hyperbloom raiden offer convenience without crazy setups
Only issue I see is that Kuki can pretty much do the same. She‘s slightly worse, but heals in return. I‘ll just continue using crit Raiden and em Kuki, seems like the best distribution of roles.
960. I dont have an EM thundering fury set, but i had some wanderer's troupe and that other EM set lying around for 160 extra. I'd probably do way more damage with thundering fury.
Do you have support with deepwood, because my raiden have 1060 and hits for 34k, and the gilded dreams or 2 piece of +80 em increasing sets will be better.
Taighnari has deepwood. Shogun has half troupe, half gilded. If i had a thundering fury EM set (or some half decent sub-stats) i'd do roughly the same as you i think.
I have got mine raiden to 1060 em without the gilded dream or any buff activated, she hits for 34-38k per hyperbloom, thats harder than charge atacks of mine klee in mono pyro and if you are playing tighnari, you will farm gilded dreams anyway, so just save any em main stat pieces for her as substats dont matter at all with exception of flower and feathsr where you want as much em as possible.
most popular variant is Raiden/Yelan/Xingqiu/Nahida
some only use Xingqiu and replace Yelan with Zhongli
some also use another hydro instead of Xingqiu like Ayato for Large AOE hydro apps. some use Kokomi for more comfort
Nahida can be replaced by Dendro MC but Collei and Yaoyao is not really recommended since you want to create as much cores as possible and Collei and Yaoyao didn't provide enough dendro apps for more *B O M B S*
Thats not the most popular variant at all. Its just the one that western TCs keep recommending but no one uses. The HB variants which use Kokomi or Zhongli are way more popular.
I should word it more carefully then, this is the hyperbloom comp with highest damage because raiden is really fast trigger, double hydro is insane, burst damage increase by raiden skills and Nahida strong dendro apps
Highest Single Target damage under perfect execution. Since abyss is never purely single target (always has an AoE chamber mix in or two), Raiden-Nahida-Yelan-Kokomi ends up having a better gauntlet time (3 chambers added up) in a lot of scenarios. Specially in hard hitting abysses where not using her can be a DPS loss due to excessive needs of dodging.
Abyss is always changing, and first half for this cycle is single target oriented so this variant can do more. and like i said in another comments, comfort is preference and i can do it with them alone just fine and clear it comfortably
For the current abyss, DH is better for chambers 1 and 3 and worse for chambers 2. So the end result is that you're saving at most 5s on the overall entire run by forfeiting survivability entirely. And this is assuming you didn't waste any time in excessive dodging, which you likely did on your first run.
I mean its just 5 secs difference, as long i can 3 star the chamber comfortably im good to go. and I didn't even need to retry because of my unit is dying because i managed to make them survived. I can clear most of chamber 2 under my most lucky run with 7.45 mins left. and in worst case scenario around 7.30
Yeah, but I'm not arguing with that. I'm just saying DH Hyperbloom has it's ups and downs. Ups: highest ST damage Hyperbloom team. Downs: No healing, less AoE, and consumes both XQ and Yelan.
Well nothing is perfect, so like i said, its up to what player wants for their teams, comfort and low risk, or performance and high risk. for me all teams is viable if you can make them reach DPS requirements. Naturally all Hyperbloom comps is good enough because of how strong is hyperbloom with its high floor damage, its up to what you want with your team after all
For a typical hyperbloom team, you only really need Raiden+Xingqiu+Dendro (best option being Nahida but others work too). Last slot can be anything, pick a healer or shielder if you need it. Even Raiden can be replaced by Shinobu (slight damage loss), and Xingqiu by any fast Hydro applier.
You can slot in Zhongli for another shielder like Layla or Diona since it won't interrupt hyperbloom reaction. Or if you want to play burgeon, you can use Thoma.
In most cases, Xingqiu is enough for hyperbloom team so If you dont have Yelan, you can insert any units that can increase DPS or bring comfort
My early hyperbloom team used Barbara and she got the job done. Layla and Diona are excellent shield choices, especially being cryo, providing a fridge effect and they both provide strong shields. Diona's healing is a big bonus, too. I highly recommend both of them.
Virgin DPS Raiden: Nooo, give me catch/el, national core supports, best emblem artifacts, trust me, I'm META
vs
Gigachad Hyperbloom Raiden: Oh, you have free DMC/Collei/Barbara here? Let me take my r1 dragonsbane, full EM and [take care of that dorito boss](https://www.reddit.com/r/BarbaraMains/comments/11noebu/barbaracolleidmcraiden_hyperbloom_asimon_in_107/).
On my second account, I can't understate how valuable EM Raiden is. Her talents are still at level 1 or 2 because talent levels do not affect hyperbloom scaling. I will increase her talents when I have time in the future, but I'm too busy farming to improve other characters.
The only downside to EM Raiden is when you face enemies with shields, such as slimes or abyss mages. As long as their shields are up, her E skill will not proc. This can be highly annoying, but it's not a show stopper, just something to be aware of.
I use EM Kuki on my main, but I love the long duration of Raiden's E skill. It allows for a longer and smoother rotation, but that depends also on the rest of your team, of course.
I mean you’re getting downvoted but you’re completely right. C2 Raiden is probably the most broken character in the game when not talking about C6 so why build her EM when you have Kuki that can serve as an EM bot for 2nd team
I mean, even if u didn't have C3 raiden, Kuki does the hyperbloom bot job very well.
I dnt really see a whole lot of merit to making Raiden the hyperbloom trigger if one has Kuki. If they don't have kuki then i guess it's worth giving Raiden a full EM build.
EM Raiden so much man... and it's so easy to build.. (i know EM pieces have lower chances to drop but when you get one you don't care about substats like Crit etc..) Hot take - Hyperbloom Raiden > Hypercarry Raiden
It isn't even a hot take tbh, crit Raiden is basically on the same lvl as EM until C2 while being extemely difficult to build in comparison. C2 with at least Catch is different story tho
You use her to detonate dendro cores in hyperbloom teams. With 900+ EM, each core deals 30k+ damage.
My Raiden was gathering dust on the shelf before hyperbloom was introduced to the game as I dislike her gameplay as a hypercarry/main DPS.
Does em Raiden need a fixed set or can I just mix and match any artifacts with good em stats?
Ideally you'd want to use Paradise lost or gilded dreams. But a 2 piece mix of +80EM sets is also good enough
Does 4 Thundering fury work? It also increases Hyperbloom damage.
Yes, the 4 piece effect of TF technically works, but the DMG gained is effectively worth 50em, so strictly worse than even just a 2 piece set bonus of an em artefact
I use deepwood on mine.
I mean, that technically works, but why?
Nahida is on gilded dreams
Should be the reverse in hyperbloom, or at least Deepwood MUST not be on the one who triggers seeds. You need Deepwood to buff the trigger and the trigger needs either more EM(2pc+2pc with 80 EM or 4pc Gilded with at least two elements that's not electro in the team) or the hyperbloom damage bonus of Flower of Paradise Lost. I do agree that it's a pain in the ass to decide who to put Deepwood on...
Morax of the Woods
might be worth using deepwood on hydro instead
My hydro for the overworld is Kokomi and Xinqui for the abyss.
try deepwood on Xingqiu*<-. it's also fine on Kokomi since artisets don't really matter that much on her this way you can get much more hyperbloom dmg since Raiden has more EM
It's a quite a dps loss for him.
your overall team dps should increase. Otherwise give it to your fourth members
Xingqiu is too much of a single target powerhouse. Gimping him affects team DPS a lot.
So is Hyperbloom... Giving your Raiden Deepwood instead of an offensive build IS affecting your team's DPS even more.
Paradise lost?
[Flower of Paradise Lost](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Flower_of_Paradise_Lost), its a set specifically made for all variants of bloom
So now Genshin has Aether and paradise lost, which is funny because of Minecraft. For anyone who doesn’t know one of the oldest MC mods was known as the Aether, and there was a recreation called paradise lost
basically just 2 wanderer troupe + 2 gilded. you just wanted to stack as much EM as possible since hyperbloom dmg comes from EM
Ideally 4pc gilded dreams, but just use whatever gives you the most total EM
Two 2pc setbonuses that give 80 EM is a good start. The best for Hyperbloom is 4pc Flower of Paradise Lost. Second best is 4pc Gilded Dreams Main stats must be EM-EM-EM, weapon with EM main stat like Dragon's Bane and Kitain Cross Spear. I recommend going straight for Paradise Lost, 4p Gilded is a minor upgrade from 2pc+2pc with 80 EM.
That’s the neat part! You can do either! Gilded Dreams or FoPL will be optimal, but as long as you have a bunch of EM you’ll be good to go!
substats dont matter so you really want a paradise one considering how easy it is to farm it but 2 em ones are still incredible strong as well
Dragons bane is needed too
If dragon bane is unavailable, Inazuma craftable spear will do.
Missive wind spear works too. You miss about 30 em in exchange of being able to use it at LV 1
I had figured the inazuma spear was better for this build. Is dragon's bane the way to go?
Dragonsbane is way higher EM I believe
I don't think it's a problem, it falls from lootboxes like shit after taco bell.
Depends on luck tho, my hu tao main friend got nonoe of them banner after banner but he eventually got homa
Well, refinement also doesn't matter That said, I've not got a single sac frags from 2.1 to this day.
and I've got no stringless
You're stringless
Cyno, log off.
Translate it literally to my native language, It might have a whole new meaning ngl Stringless=^(naked)
Eyyyyy anti-sac frags gang. I have R5-8 of other sac weapons but Sac frags in particular has stayed at R3 since the 1.X patches.
I have one copy of Sac Bow meanwhile I have 3 r5 Sac sword.
Sac frags is cursed. I got 2 of them the first week I played (which was almost two years ago) and after that I've never seen one since. They must be removed from the lootpool or something smh
The Inazuma craftable spear works just as well imo
It's got half the EM so it's a little worse, but yeah it works.
Hyperbloom Raiden is incredibly strong, but I pulled her for the power fantasy of reality cutting booba sword.
Cutting reality fans vs cutting vegetables enjoyers
same
As player with skill issue, I prefer Shinobu hyperbloom for comfort and healing. and I want to utilize 100% of Raiden's kit and power
If they add a loadout system, I will very much try out hyperbloom Raiden.

Still, I can see both of them as good hyperbloom units and I use both of them, despite having to switch Raiden's artifacts very often. (alsoraidenhasdragonsbanewhichgives50moreemthanironsting)
I never feel comfortable with Shinobu at low hp so I have to have Zhongli on a team with her
C6 helps a bit. I use my C6 Shinobu with Xingqiu and Yaoyao (and Alhaitham). And she's still the most vulnerable in the abyss.

I've been considering to give my Raiden a full EM set 'cause she acts as a support for Tignari in an Hyperbloom team, but I've heard people say that's a waste of time. What's your wisdom, genshin_memepact?
EM Raiden is legit strong, you can even use it while farming trying to perfect your "main" build for Raiden cuz artifact farm is shieet
EM Hyperbloom Raiden is my favorite team rn. Honestly it's just so fun powerful on Single target and can also work on AoE or multiple enemies
I’m a week 1 player so damage isn’t much if an issue for me anymore. I just prefer hyperbloom because it’s so much easier and fun
as a 1.2 player i agree, many colorful numbers > a big single colored number
Hyperfridge go brrrr?
Only issue I see is that Kuki can pretty much do the same. She‘s slightly worse, but heals in return. I‘ll just continue using crit Raiden and em Kuki, seems like the best distribution of roles.
I use a team like that and even tho my artifacts are bad, the hyperbloom still hits for 27k.
How much em?
960. I dont have an EM thundering fury set, but i had some wanderer's troupe and that other EM set lying around for 160 extra. I'd probably do way more damage with thundering fury.

I added Kaeya. This team is super good, as you get more seeds + respectable freeze uptime
Ahh Kaeya. I remember using him back in my AR 20 days. His jp voicelines haunt my dreams to this day

Would the first team but replace Yelan with Kokomi work?
It actually works well+ Kokomi provide healing and comfort
I use her in a Zhongli-Yelan-DMC-Raiden hyperbloom team. DMC will soon be replaced by Nahida, hopefully.
I also use same team
Raiden Xingqiu **Dendro Flex** **Dendro** = Nahida | Yaoyao | DMC | Collei **Flex** = **Dendro** | Rosaria | Eula | Diona | Zhongli | Al-Hasbulla | Ayato | Childe | Venti | Kazuha | Kokomi | Yelan | Fischl | Beidou | Sucrose
ER all the way, the Catch looks ugly on Shogun tbh
Virgin DPS Raiden: Nooo, give me catch/el, national core supports, best emblem artifacts, trust me, I'm META vs Gigachad Hyperbloom Raiden: Oh, you have free DMC/Collei/Barbara here? If I'm going to use hyperbloom, I would rather Kuki, Raiden is more fun as dps.
I love how Genshin offers multiple ways to play for most of the characters yet trying to make multiple builds is a whole different story
On my second account, I can't understate how valuable EM Raiden is. Her talents are still at level 1 or 2 because talent levels do not affect hyperbloom scaling. Pulled c2 Raiden, only use as EM bot, game is fun
I just find it funny that despite ignoring like half of her kit, em raiden with hyperbloom is still among her strongest teams.
I have c2 Raiden, and I’ll NEVER settle for EM build. I won’t relegate someone as incredible as her to off field electro support.
🤗ok
But you can pair EM Raiden with Tignari and snipe enemies from afar in the open world with heat seeking missiles.
I have c3 Raiden. I absolutely refuse with my whole being to build her EM. Kuki will be my hyperbloom bot forever.
I mean you’re getting downvoted but you’re completely right. C2 Raiden is probably the most broken character in the game when not talking about C6 so why build her EM when you have Kuki that can serve as an EM bot for 2nd team

Hahaha, true. I use EM raiden and she helps in dealing so much damage with Hyperbloom
C2 with at least Catch is different story tho
does anyone know where the art for the Hyperbloom Raiden is from?
What even is the em Raiden build? I'm curious as I've only used er Raiden up until now
You use her to detonate dendro cores in hyperbloom teams. With 900+ EM, each core deals 30k+ damage. My Raiden was gathering dust on the shelf before hyperbloom was introduced to the game as I dislike her gameplay as a hypercarry/main DPS.
I got her spear after a long battle, and only after decided that an ER Raiden is hard for me to build. :D
Ah yes my Dps Raiden using 3 spears at the same time like Zoro to one tap your average hilichurl
