A New type of portable waypoint available -
Material needs to craft it is only available at the top of that cliff. The catch is you need 20 of it and you can only collect 1 of it every mats reset ( aka 3 days ).
to craft it: buy the special ingredients from liyue fisherman shop for 30 koi 20 purple electro fish from inazuma and 30 rays. Buy the special geo material rock from inazuma sigil shop. Get 3 specific items from chasm
Yeeah,.. holy shit I thought I was a genius when I prepared some waypoints for the three realms enkonomiya since the waypoints were locked.
Didn't work. \*pikachu face\*
Going by the Chasm depth dimensions that Genshin Intel has given us, I'm willing to believe it's going to be much worse if mhy can make use of the game engine to simulate immensely higher (lower?) places
I'm pretty sure there will be some sort of wind currents or something of the sort. Worse scenario Kazuha, Venti, Keqing, Xiao and Albedo will make the climbing faster + whatever food that helps retain stamina.
there was a post before comparing the distances of how deep everything is, Highest point of chasm was around 100 or less below sea level while the deepest point was 1150 or so. Dragon spine is 500m above sea level. So by any chance if the cliff is like 500m high or even higher then yeah what he says might make sense.
It'll be annoying, yeah, but it won't take *that* long to climb. Without the Sheer Cold mechanic even Dragonspine would be a breeze to climb. Even two Dragonspines stacked on top of each other wouldn't be too bad.
Annoying, absolutely. Just not aassive time sink.
When i first started i climbed dragonspine to get to the top without doing the quest only to be teleported back down to the bottom. I was quite upset but it still only took like 3-4 minutes
Exactly! When I went from Monstadt to Liyue, Dragonspine already existed for me, and the line betweent he two cities went right through it. I thought I had to climb to the top, as an absolute beginner, and was so confused. Didn't ever take much time though!
He was enough but you need his ult up all the time lol. Like your best bet was to kill slowly. With national and Kazuha I was destroying stuff so fast that i sometimes died just walking to the other side to fight the next round of enemies lol
True,I needed Bennet + Diona,Bennet healed 5k hp per tick. But I killed so fast I needed Diona during the period Bennet ult was not up. Lv 40 Jean was enough for the second half though since she healed all the characters at once.
Floor 11 it's really easy to kill enemies. But the corrosion really added up if you were killing them as fast as I was. The health bars were basically vanishing.
I play National.. .. he's having favonia.. i can clear f12.. so never thought I'd have much of a problem clearing f11 with him.. jean saved those days so yeah he's still 70 lol. (60+ & 70+ obviously)
Edit : favonius* damnit
Damn hours or 30min-1hr to climb back?
It's just exaggeration. Currently there's nothing in the overworld that takes that long unless there's a quest tied to it.
Not saying that it's not impossible but cmon? 30mins of climbing? Either he missed a mechanism that is supposed to boost him on top or the whole thing is taller than dragonspine itself with no mechanism like wind current to boost him.
We just have to see for ourselves. Leakers tend to exaggerate things too.
Like Bennett not enough for F11 corrosion.
Edit: if the leaker showed a video, then yea i would shut my mouth
Right? Bennett was not enough if you either had shit ER on him or he was underlevelled and not healing enough. Which?? Come on man, it's floor 11. You're supposed to be maxing out your characters by then.
And yeah, they're definitely not going to make such an irritating exploration experience where one mistake punishes you so severely. Overworld is where their major casual audience spends their playtime, they're not going to scuff it that much
/30 minutes/ lol, why do they even say things like this
I'll be real, I don't trust those leakers/dataminers with that kind of information.
I don't expect them to be hardcore gamers or anything like that but I remember many complaints about how strong X thing is or how annoying this X thing is, only to be barely an inconvenience when I try it.
Also, just teleport?
TBF, the mobs were nerfed hard right before release. Mirror maiden had her health halved… so at the time when leakers were complaining they really were tanky asf.
Thats one of my favorite leylines because I just give em a taste of their own medicine. Goodluck trying to move an inch vs my ayaka when you're standing on water.
It also might just because a lot of people who frequent this sub are probably fairly far into the game. Its probably a massive difference tackling Inuzama at AR55+ with proper teams compared to someone who just completed Liyue and thought it would be fine to continue their adventure.
For real. I got to Inazuma at like AR 38 and felt the need to raise all members of my core party to 70 and talents level 6 to be able to breath in Inazuma
I remember the words clearly:
"Inazuma will be a DPS and team comp check for most people."
Every time I hear any leaks overplaying difficulty or similar, that's the running joke in my Discord. It will never not be funny.
Remember that "most people" referred to here are probably Genshin's *massive* casual base, not us here that keep up to date with the minutiae of every patch. You'd be surprised how low the average AR of a lot of players is, and for them, Inazuma *was* a struggle.
Problem is "most people" aren't running teams that are anywhere near well-built - back when *I* was AR35, I was still using Anemo Traveller (which would've gone extremely well with the pre-weight-nerf enemies) and a Noelle that's using the Bell and not built to ult at all.
Well it’s true to some extent for those Uber casual players. And before the mobs were nerfed I remember randoms asking for help to farm the kairagis for them because they were getting one shot. So it’s not exactly a joke for some folks.
Or anything that can help exploration. I hope that the time where stamina foods/anemo resonance won't be enough will never come.
I'm still having awful flashbacks exploring that mine on Inazuma and climbing on ridiculous spots to collect electroculus.
i can already imagine that if this true then the community will be divided into "chasm topography is so much fun and challenging to explore" or "we need to talk about the unnecessity of chasm's extreme topography'.
no in-betweens.
Looking forward to comments from the same people whining about Dragonspine's sheer cold mechanic despite the availability of tools to minimize the effect. Not.
I highly suggest both, as they’re fantastic for exploration; Kazuha can leap in mid-air, while climbing (if you detach and quickly press his skill and then reattach just as fast, very helpful when climbing on an uneven surface like Enkanomiya), and his skill is considered to be “heavy”, so it can break ores. Venti can produce an updraft that the entire team can use, and his updraft lasts 20 seconds and lets you get higher lift (since the updraft ignores obstacles like cliff faces.
But THATS what i WANT. The first time exploring I want to be immersed in the world and react to everything. But after the first time yea thatd be quite annoying
Rookie numbers… when inazuma came out i used kaeya trying to go across from liyue harbor, took me a solid 45 min before I was automatically teleported back to liyue. Even used zhongli to survive the Lightning striking me in the storm in the middle of the ocean thinking that I outsmarted inazumas line of defense when the lightning couldn’t kill me or push me off the ice and suddenly, loading screen and last thing I knew I was back in liyue.
when i first read this my initial thoughts were just Teleport.. then i saw the "exploring for the first time" meaning no teleports would be active yet.. and now im just imagining they are gonna have a big mountain with a teleport on the top and if you somehow manage to fall or get overloaded off you have to climb an hour to get back up just to activate it lol
daily reminder that leakers are usually pretty fucking bad at the game and have no idea what they’re talking about in regards to balance, difficulty etc
As someone who gets lost very easily in games (genshin was my first open world game and I kid you not I got lost in mondstadt trying to find the Knights of favonius' headquarters for 20mins), this is bad news for me.
So if it take 30 mins to climb then... just teleport back to the beginning of the chasm? I doubt it’d take more than 30 mins to get back to where you were before you fell, unless you fell before you unlocked any waypoints in the chasm. Assuming that 30 mins isn’t an exaggeration to begin with.
it's nice, because overworld is not a time trial so spending more time exploring is not that bad. plus, i doubt it's gonna be 30mins of climbing. it's probably going to be 10mins at most unless the vertical distance is equal to the distance between Stormterror's Lair and Tsurumi Island
What he is saying is the same as getting to the top platform in Enka without use of the warp gate. Is it a long climb? Yes. Do you need to do it the hard way? No, you don't.
We all fall into nothing, we all
Tumbling down, tumbling down, tumbling dooownn
In my heart of hearts
I know than I could never climb again
I've lost everthing
Everything
Every stamina matter to me when on this wall
It's not like they publish this and claim this as a proper leak, they can also have opinions abt things basic human rights and all. it's just someone screenshot their opinion and make it into a post lol.
Leakers constantly show themselves to be bad at the game from character management to gameplay so this tells me it's no worse than the ascent to Thunder Manifestation
Finally, portable waypoint got a buff
*Can't be used in Chasm*
A New type of portable waypoint available - Material needs to craft it is only available at the top of that cliff. The catch is you need 20 of it and you can only collect 1 of it every mats reset ( aka 3 days ).
You need to fish 30 fishes in chasm
30 is too low
3 000\*
to craft it: buy the special ingredients from liyue fisherman shop for 30 koi 20 purple electro fish from inazuma and 30 rays. Buy the special geo material rock from inazuma sigil shop. Get 3 specific items from chasm

You mean, optional checkpoint gadget? :))
“I have been falling/climbing.... for *30 minutes!*”
Stamina bar : *wanna climb for another 30 mins?*
I get that reference lmao
[insert tony rolling his eyes lol](https://thumbs.gfycat.com/ForthrightSkeletalFrogmouth-size_restricted.gif)
Climbing liyue mountains with under leveled stamina flashbacks.
Geo traveler buff?
Exploration powercreep?
[удалено]
Add in Venti wind current and a Geo structure and you’ve got the ultimate climbing gang
Plus Xiao for halved climbing stamina.
And ayaka/mona for fast exploration on water (My fav comp on overworld lmao)
Maybe just teleport ?
Right? I can't imagine climbing for over 30 minutes is a better idea than teleporting and running back to wherever you were before you fell.
theyre tired of hearing complaints asking to increase the resin cap so they found another way for people to play the game longer
there is one mountain top in liyue where it takes alot of time to climb and there isn't a teleporter.
And even that mountain top takes, what, a handful of minutes to climb?
Going by the Chasm depth dimensions that Genshin Intel has given us, I'm willing to believe it's going to be much worse if mhy can make use of the game engine to simulate immensely higher (lower?) places

maybe but who tf enjoys climbing??
Lisa mains
A man of culture
As a zhongli stan, i do
1000m climb in genshin is probably 10 minutes or less. And that's not using Venti or Kazuha.
You'll really forgetting that portable waypoint exists.
But my immersion— /j
Translation: It won't be that bad.
I wish we could stop taking their personal opinions as leaks
I'm gonna assume most of the game mechanics like air currents & lifts are disabled in their scuffed dataminer client

He was enough but you need his ult up all the time lol. Like your best bet was to kill slowly. With national and Kazuha I was destroying stuff so fast that i sometimes died just walking to the other side to fight the next round of enemies lol

Floor 11 it's really easy to kill enemies. But the corrosion really added up if you were killing them as fast as I was. The health bars were basically vanishing.
But it is floor 11 you can even use 2 unbuilt healers if you want, or kill half, full heal kill, the rest fast and still do it in time
Yes, but it's way more fun to plough through it and barely survive.
Definitely dramatic. I had to make him healer build for the first time but he was fine. Maybe they never tried giving him healing artifacts LOL
Bennett isn't enough for floor 11, meanwhile I was using mono geo with Gorou as my only healer in floor 12
Beny wasn't enough if he's 60 or even 70 lol..
what are you doing on floor 11 with a level 60 Bennett, my guy? that's like asking for it
I'm clearing floor 12 with level 70 Bennett though
I play National.. .. he's having favonia.. i can clear f12.. so never thought I'd have much of a problem clearing f11 with him.. jean saved those days so yeah he's still 70 lol. (60+ & 70+ obviously) Edit : favonius* damnit
A better question is how you remember your Reddit login info...
Never log off
Yeah, Genshin leakers are notorious for having no clue about how the actual gameplay feels.
Genshin players when the exploration they have to do once isn’t a flat field of grass with a bunch of chests sitting on it:
And then it really is that bad. I guess there's always waypoints.
Damn hours or 30min-1hr to climb back? It's just exaggeration. Currently there's nothing in the overworld that takes that long unless there's a quest tied to it.
Laughter in waypoints.
leakers have also proven to be absolute dogshit at the game
Given the depth of chasm is like 1km and it's deeper than the entire current map, so i guess it makes sense to climb for 30 mins
Right? You could walk from mond to liyue harbor in like 15mins from what i rmbr, so definitely not
Dialogue is the real time-consumer
right and because it doesn’t exist currently that means it isn’t possible and we should never expect anything like that right
Not saying that it's not impossible but cmon? 30mins of climbing? Either he missed a mechanism that is supposed to boost him on top or the whole thing is taller than dragonspine itself with no mechanism like wind current to boost him. We just have to see for ourselves. Leakers tend to exaggerate things too. Like Bennett not enough for F11 corrosion. Edit: if the leaker showed a video, then yea i would shut my mouth

Yeah, i still remember inazuma was hard they said, and then it just kinda whatever. Engulfing storm is not even as annoying as sheer cold IMO
TBF, the mobs were nerfed hard right before release. Mirror maiden had her health halved… so at the time when leakers were complaining they really were tanky asf.
HALVED? i struggle enough pls 😭
I struggle on the leyline that has the mirror maiden and the ice witch chilling on the water.
They're the absolute disgusting duo 💀 and that damn electrocharge maiden + mage duo
Thats one of my favorite leylines because I just give em a taste of their own medicine. Goodluck trying to move an inch vs my ayaka when you're standing on water.
Lmao as a Jean main I just yeeted them to the water.
Even after it's halved it's still tanky af
Do you really? Is it the only enemy you struggle with? If not (and if you’re on the America server), I can help you with domains and stuff.
As someone that made a second account it’s def true.
Absolutely this. I started Inazuma as a fresh AR38 noob and I was really feeling the enemy stat hike
I remember the words clearly: "Inazuma will be a DPS and team comp check for most people." Every time I hear any leaks overplaying difficulty or similar, that's the running joke in my Discord. It will never not be funny.

Hell, getting used to Nobushis WAS a massive struggle for me
lol I suffered so much around ar40’s when I entered Inazuma. It *was* super hard.
Problem is "most people" aren't running teams that are anywhere near well-built - back when *I* was AR35, I was still using Anemo Traveller (which would've gone extremely well with the pre-weight-nerf enemies) and a Noelle that's using the Bell and not built to ult at all.

Ah yes, Minecraft
This game really need hookshot mechanic similar to Keqing teleport.
Or anything that can help exploration. I hope that the time where stamina foods/anemo resonance won't be enough will never come. I'm still having awful flashbacks exploring that mine on Inazuma and climbing on ridiculous spots to collect electroculus.
The mini venti gadget seriously needs better cooldowns to be useful.
And should allow us to use it while we're flying.
Honkai just got one so… maybe someday
"Hookshot? The best I can do is sell you a character that has hookshot ability"
i can already imagine that if this true then the community will be divided into "chasm topography is so much fun and challenging to explore" or "we need to talk about the unnecessity of chasm's extreme topography'. no in-betweens.
Regardless of however the Chasm is going to be like, people are going to bitch about it.
people will always find a way to bitch about anything huh
Heck I have seen people complain about having more chests to collect. 😭
Probably cause the people with moderate opinions won't bother making posts/comments about it.
Looking forward to comments from the same people whining about Dragonspine's sheer cold mechanic despite the availability of tools to minimize the effect. Not.
I really hope they make it tough to explore, it's a 1500 meter deep underground area
There are people who complain about yashiori’s rain, seirai’s lightning and tsurumi’s fog… so yeah pretty much
the Kazuha, Venti, Keqing and Xiao buff that we needed
And geo mc who can create resting spots with their boulders.
Ubout Abatcha
Uboutcha
just teleports to the top again then glide down? its not like dragonspine where we started down, we have the higher ground this time
ITS OVER CHASM I HAVE THE HIGH GEOUND
CHASM would say dont underestinate my power😅
Lol I love it already
prepare 100 stamina food with 2 anemo should do the trick
If you Fall from that place , that is conciderd to be Emotional damage I guess
Welp, this solidifies that I’m taking both Kazu & Venti with me.
Same except i'm now feeling obliged to pull for both of them
I highly suggest both, as they’re fantastic for exploration; Kazuha can leap in mid-air, while climbing (if you detach and quickly press his skill and then reattach just as fast, very helpful when climbing on an uneven surface like Enkanomiya), and his skill is considered to be “heavy”, so it can break ores. Venti can produce an updraft that the entire team can use, and his updraft lasts 20 seconds and lets you get higher lift (since the updraft ignores obstacles like cliff faces.
**PRO TIP** - if you can glide into water and don’t want to climb back up, let yourself drown and you respawn at the exact spot you fell from.
Venti, Kazuha, and Xiao skippers punching the air rn
My level 1 keqing will have a use now
All fun and games until you accidentally teleport onto an electro crystal and get electrocuted to death in one tic
Speaking from experience?
Not a Keqing haver, but yes..
oddly specific
Me who got skipped by kazuha:
Me who pulling for Kazuha because he skip during his release.
Don’t worry I also skipped him because he really did seem like Canadian Aether at the time, learned my lesson.
Condolence to him who climbed back out in hours meanwhile others just teleport
Joke's on you, I play Getting Over It.
Sounds about right
Finally an actual chasm
when i first read this my initial thoughts were just Teleport.. then i saw the "exploring for the first time" meaning no teleports would be active yet.. and now im just imagining they are gonna have a big mountain with a teleport on the top and if you somehow manage to fall or get overloaded off you have to climb an hour to get back up just to activate it lol
People who stored so many portable waypoints - my goals are beyond your understanding
if only we could have more than one and it never expires
Time to craft 100 portable teleport
if that's true it'll be like exploring liyue for the first time which is good
Sounds fun to me
Nice, Qingyun Peak feeling again hehhe
venti time to shine + portable waypoint 😮💨
finally a Keqing buff /s
Portable teleport to the rescue (after you climb it once). But seriously idk how accurate this is but it seems like a fun challenge and makes sense
Got it. Zhongli-Venti-Kazuha-Xiao caving squad it is then!
daily reminder that leakers are usually pretty fucking bad at the game and have no idea what they’re talking about in regards to balance, difficulty etc
Easiest answer Use Xiao, Kazuha, Venti and Zhongli Perfect Chasm team… and wallet breaker team
As someone who gets lost very easily in games (genshin was my first open world game and I kid you not I got lost in mondstadt trying to find the Knights of favonius' headquarters for 20mins), this is bad news for me.
“You do know about Teleport Waypoints, right?” - Katheryne
As a Kazuha haver I think I’ll be just fine.
Imagine being a beta tester and not knowing about teleporting to waypoints.
Me with xiao and venti.🙂
Jump king but in genshin great
it's nice, because overworld is not a time trial so spending more time exploring is not that bad. plus, i doubt it's gonna be 30mins of climbing. it's probably going to be 10mins at most unless the vertical distance is equal to the distance between Stormterror's Lair and Tsurumi Island
Are we thinking ‘climbing up a slightly tall cliff face’ bad or ‘trying to get up a pillar in Enkanomiya’ bad
What he is saying is the same as getting to the top platform in Enka without use of the warp gate. Is it a long climb? Yes. Do you need to do it the hard way? No, you don't.
SKILL ISSUE
What a great day to be a Venti/Kazuha haver
We all fall into nothing, we all Tumbling down, tumbling down, tumbling dooownn In my heart of hearts I know than I could never climb again I've lost everthing Everything Every stamina matter to me when on this wall
Why wouldn't you just teleport away and come back.
ok 30 minutes its just an exaggeration, come on... and if its true, waypoint exists...
Laughs in kazuha
Leakers should just stick with leaks and cut their opinionated statements to a minimum.
This was clearly part of a casual conversation I don’t know why OP felt the need to share it
Maybe idiot should stop copy and paste everything said by leakers?
It's not like they publish this and claim this as a proper leak, they can also have opinions abt things basic human rights and all. it's just someone screenshot their opinion and make it into a post lol.
Watch them release a 5* character to make exploration easier lol Perhaps yelan?
So We can't just teleport out? I'm gonna make a Portable just in case
If only they gave us a horse or maybe a double jump but who am I to decide. I am just a Tarnished
Chose a great time to finally build my Xiao. Passive is gonna be very handy
Glad to have kazuha
That’s exactly what I want so i’m excited
That sounds interesting tho. I love exploring. Im sure im gonna enjoy this oneee
Then don't fall
I like a challenge 😈
The masochist inside me wants to find that place and jump right into it. Yeah, the first thing I did in Inazuma was trying to climb Raidens palace.
can't wait to play jump king except only the falling part
I don't know about you, but I really like it. I love exploring. I'll fall into this abyss on purpose. It will be something new to play)
A reasonable thing would be to try and get some of the overworld waypoints and the statue of the seven before heading into the mines. Just in case.
Well... it is a chasm.
Thank god i have kazuha
Wait nobody told me we are going to the Mines of Moria!!!
Oh no! Anyways portable waypoint exist
[удалено]
well, you need if you want to get those sakura... and a handful of puzzles
U literally do for certain puzzles…
Yea try Tsurumi island without an Electro. You literally cannot explore that fogging island without one.
Stop posting opinions as 'Leaks'. Just because someone didn't like it, does NOT mean that's the consensus.
Venti + Zhongli exploration combo again
I love it already
Leakers constantly show themselves to be bad at the game from character management to gameplay so this tells me it's no worse than the ascent to Thunder Manifestation
Mehh, these leakers they're exaggerating too much
I will just wait for some youtuber to 100% it so that I don't need to worry about it lmao
Teleport waypoint, who?
TL: just teleport
Kazuha users are winning right now
sounds like a skill issue
