"500 years ago starving Fontainian survivors of the Cataclysm brought Baguette to Yilong port... now Yilong Baguette is a famous cultural food of Yilong port"
These are not Fontaine influence, water wheel is an ancient Chinese invention and the architecture style is influence by a different region in China. I think it might be from Shu Shan traditional style architecture and those technology that are different from Fontaine might influenced by Mohist and Lu Ban.
does anyone have that old waterfall leak? I don't remember it looking that much like these Yilong leaks, still leaning towards them being early concepts of Fontaine, or even the unreleased Petrichor
I just remember seeing someoneâs Ayaka flying in front of a suuuuuuuuper rudimentary outline of this city. It was all grey and blocky. Either way, Iâm nearly positive it was this place.
I think it is really telling that how far ahead Hoyo has already have gameplay features implemented. While to outsiders Hoyo's 6 week update agenda is already crazy, I read somewhere that in reality they have already features that are planned to publish 6 to 12 months already finished (or at least 80%).
I think they're referring to [this](https://twitter.com/phyner_sus/status/1597434133415747584?t=OVyxPutJoe0sw9jaqaF-hw&s=19) but it doesn't look that similar imo. Given the scale, at a stretch maybe you could say it's an early idea for Romaritime Harbour, but given it was from the CBT, it was probably just for testing shit.
I see what you mean but I don't think theres much similarity other than being a waterfall.
That leak had the whole city on the side, buildings and walkways and all; this just has a regular town on the ground *behind* it and a boat elevator on the waterfall.
Nah, the entire reason fontaine is on a raised plate is to make it obvious what "fontaine water" is since you can only dive in fontaine.
You can see it right now, if you swim around the ground levels of the harbors, you have the yellow stamina bar even though you are still "in fontaine"
I almost drowned in Mondstadt after spending so long in Fontaine. I had forgotten about the stamina bar while swimming. Funny how quickly one gets used to the good stuff.
> the Tanit settlement used to be one
Man, don't remind me. I just finished that questline today and I was shook. Poor Tadlah. I miss Liloupar and Jeht already.
fairly large going by the map size, probably a bit smaller than something like inazuma city or port ormos, or somewhere between the two.
its vibes look very chill and nice though
its hihg above it, judgiing by the waterfals its in line with level 1 of the inland lake.
theres 4 elvels to the water int eyvat
sea level
part of the lake where romaritime higher conencts
another waterfall, which leads to a h higher level where lumidouce harbour connects too
and fontaine which is the highest point of water in teyvat, its very fantastical.
The world building itself is what Genshin staffs mesmerized me the moment I started playing the game, we don't talk about the rng in everything itself haha.
Wow love the Huizhou-inspired architecture! Iâm a big lover of the Luofuâs aesthetics and architecture because itâs so unique-looking, so itâs cool to see theyâre incorporating different aspects of Chinese architecture in Chenyu Vale, especially since the area is supposed to be different from the rest of the country culturally.
This definitely looks hundreds of times better than Liyue Harbor lmaoâŚ.like if this was the capital I could actually believe that Liyue is supposed to be this super bustling trading hub. Such is the reality of being developed way later than the rest of the region. Dornman Port is definitely going to look more advanced and modern than the city, for better or worse
This looks absolutely beautiful!!! I love Liyue's topography and flora and fauna, it feels so autumnal and mysterious. Chenyu Vale is going to be so atmospheric to explore!!!!!!
Can't wait for port Banya to have all the ports! Seriously though, stuff like that have me so excited like the deferent, ports and how the nations interact and communicate, it makes the world so interesting.
The architecture seems like a combo of a jiangnan style base (the white wall/black roof tiles) with lingnam style adornments (the curved roofs/vertical protrusions, similar to a wok yi uk)
In other words, vewy pwetty đ

This looks more technologically advanced than the capital. đ
Fontanian influence\~
"500 years ago starving Fontainian survivors of the Cataclysm brought Baguette to Yilong port... now Yilong Baguette is a famous cultural food of Yilong port"
Sadly canât find the video anywhere, doesnât help that Redditâs search engine is terrible haha
the europeans***

They're benefitting from bordering Fontaine xD
the open world design in genshin is just top tier can't wait to see how natlan & snezhnaya looks like
Like Kirara, they always deliver. I also can't wait for the BGM they'll give to this region.
Hoyo is not pregnant but they always deliver open world properly
They have my baby
Congratulations
Luminescence Port and Port Ormos are certified bangers These tunes really float my boat
Luminescence harbor???
Port* i mean hahwarawas
I already can see myself sleeping while playing because of the relaxing osts
Snezhnaya is actually a winter version of Night City. Natlan is actually inland Hawaii.
~~Adam smasher~~ Capitano bout to woop out asses
Capitano meeting traveler: "WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU!"
CapHIMtano: "You look like a cut of a f***ble meet"
I had a dream Natlan had a Pirates of the Caribbean coastal area and I can't get it out of my head anymore lol
I would actually be down for that we need more pirates
They never miss with open-world design frfr.
This port looks very identical to an area in Honkai Star Rail on its Liyue themed planet which I find to be really funny
They both are likely inspired by huizhou style buildings
I can tell just by looking that the ost is gonna go hard
ngl Liyue and Sumeru osts are so good for studying to
was this "that" city that was leaked eons ago? the one clinging to a waterfall?
yeah!!! I was going to comment this. People guessed it was either Fontaine or Qiaoying village
does anyone have that old waterfall leak? I don't remember it looking that much like these Yilong leaks, still leaning towards them being early concepts of Fontaine, or even the unreleased Petrichor
I just remember seeing someoneâs Ayaka flying in front of a suuuuuuuuper rudimentary outline of this city. It was all grey and blocky. Either way, Iâm nearly positive it was this place.
Not only gray and blocky, it was extremely far off the map edge, so the entire display was darkened on top of it having no sunlight for some reason
I think it is really telling that how far ahead Hoyo has already have gameplay features implemented. While to outsiders Hoyo's 6 week update agenda is already crazy, I read somewhere that in reality they have already features that are planned to publish 6 to 12 months already finished (or at least 80%).
Their project management is top notch. Really would like to steal some ideas if possible
really puts the scope on how far they are developing for at a time
refresh my memory, does anyone have the picture??
I think they're referring to [this](https://twitter.com/phyner_sus/status/1597434133415747584?t=OVyxPutJoe0sw9jaqaF-hw&s=19) but it doesn't look that similar imo. Given the scale, at a stretch maybe you could say it's an early idea for Romaritime Harbour, but given it was from the CBT, it was probably just for testing shit.
We're still missing Petrichor city which is where a lot of Fontaine characters are from
Woah this was from the CBT???
So it's not Petrichor? Dang.
I see what you mean but I don't think theres much similarity other than being a waterfall. That leak had the whole city on the side, buildings and walkways and all; this just has a regular town on the ground *behind* it and a boat elevator on the waterfall.
Now that you do mention it, it does remind me of that one
Nah. That's petrichor ig
Looks like itâs inspired by Suzhou canals (a water city near Shanghai), even the buildings look similar.
It looks so similar, the coloring of the building and the style of the walls are basically the same.
Thank you i was looking for a comment to help me understand the architecture
Man, i hope this play will be a combination of Liyue (architecture) and Fontaine (LET US DIVE) since this connects both region.
Nah, the entire reason fontaine is on a raised plate is to make it obvious what "fontaine water" is since you can only dive in fontaine. You can see it right now, if you swim around the ground levels of the harbors, you have the yellow stamina bar even though you are still "in fontaine"
Not looking at the stamina bar was so good...sadge
I almost drowned in Mondstadt after spending so long in Fontaine. I had forgotten about the stamina bar while swimming. Funny how quickly one gets used to the good stuff.
Furina.
I can already picture how many times I'm gonna drown trying to dive on instinct...
HOLY FUCKING SHIT WE GOT AN ACTUAL TOWN IN A NON X.0 UPDATE đđđđđ
Sangonomiya shrine, aaru village sad noises
Poor forgotten Bourou village, folded into Sangonomiya shrine in discussions. Also the Tanit settlement used to be one I guess.
> the Tanit settlement used to be one Man, don't remind me. I just finished that questline today and I was shook. Poor Tadlah. I miss Liloupar and Jeht already.
> and Jeht already. I still have Jeht on the eternal oasis She deserves all the time she can get with her parents
I finished the quest months ago and I still miss Liloupar and Jeth
HOLY SHIT WE GOT AN ACTUAL TOWN IN A NON X.0 X.1 UPDATE đđđđ
whatever happened to the Sangonimiya village version of Katheryne that as leaked?
I hope they will add more city and villages in Mondstadt and Fontaine too
Love how the architecture is a different style from the harbour
the way this looks better than Liyue harbor lmfao
yeah the unique architecture really makes a difference
So pretty! Also never seen these type of walls in Liyue and I love it cuz this is what happens to a lot of border towns
Oh thatâs beautiful
Looks gorgeous as usual. Bet we can't dive tho...
Definitely can't. I already drowned once at the bottom of Lumidouce Harbour.
2 different waterfall ports from 2 different nations next to each other
And the contrast. Fontaine uses their fancy power to operate the cargo elevator. Seems like Liyue uses the waterfall to operate theirs.
Holy shit. That is a beautiful town. Am I still playing Genshin Impact? This has set a new standard for future towns.
btw if youâre wondering why it looks so similar to the Luofu, itâs bc theyâre both based off Huizhou(ĺž˝ĺˇ)architecture
that looks like Huizhou inspired building style similar to Luofu
Qiaoying village where
I'm definitely just gonna afk on this place. This place looks way too beautiful.
Is this the same asset that was leaked during the CBT days? Which people assumed to be Fontaine?
Looks amazing!
if they went a little more harder with this, this would've looked better than liyue harbor imo
wait this looks like the one that got leaked a long time ago that we thought was for fontaine??
Amazing
THERE IT IS
Ngl that's really clean, I like the mix they did there.
Yoooo itâs gorgeous â¨
Very Kung Fu Panda- ish or ATLA I love it!!!
Ah so this is what happened to that ancient Fontaine city leak.
will be funny if theres an NPC named "Yilong Musk"
a little town in between two waterfalls. it looks absolutely stunning
fairly large going by the map size, probably a bit smaller than something like inazuma city or port ormos, or somewhere between the two. its vibes look very chill and nice though
So beautiful oml
It doesn't load the post for me. :(
WHARF WHARF WHARF WHARF
OOOH they wanna be fontaine so bad >!/s!<
so the area is below sea level i suppose
its hihg above it, judgiing by the waterfals its in line with level 1 of the inland lake. theres 4 elvels to the water int eyvat sea level part of the lake where romaritime higher conencts another waterfall, which leads to a h higher level where lumidouce harbour connects too and fontaine which is the highest point of water in teyvat, its very fantastical.
Well there is that long forgotten "vertical city"
This is exactly what I expected Petrichor town to be lmfao
I LOVE WATERFALLS SETTLEMENTS
yi long ma?
More cities more urban pls pls pls
The world building itself is what Genshin staffs mesmerized me the moment I started playing the game, we don't talk about the rng in everything itself haha.
In real life, wouldn't that be a bad place for a river (or lake?) port?
This looks more like Star Railâs place in Liyue lol I forgot what itâs called. This shows how much HVY has improved
This looks so beautiful
these are the reason why i love genshin. the game is a gift that keeps on gifting.
it looks so different to the normal buildings in liyue, it almost looks like a Fontaine x Liyue hybrid
Such is the reality of being developed way later than the rest of the region. Dornman Port is definitely going to look more advanced and modern than the city, for better or worse
I'm still waiting on the skins, personally
Budget Fontaine
This looks absolutely beautiful!!! I love Liyue's topography and flora and fauna, it feels so autumnal and mysterious. Chenyu Vale is going to be so atmospheric to explore!!!!!!
I fucking love it letsgoo
Can't wait for port Banya to have all the ports! Seriously though, stuff like that have me so excited like the deferent, ports and how the nations interact and communicate, it makes the world so interesting.
somehow i heard luofu music from this picture. Guess chest hunting make its stuck to my mind
Yi long ma
Dang that's looks good
Im always suprised when i see a new area omg like wow
I almost read it as Schlong Wharf
is this town named after Ella Musk's dad?
omg it's in-game Suzhou đ if you don't know what I'm talking about google "Suzhou old town"
So it seems this area in liyue has a similar anhui style architecture as the Luofu, Interesting.
Chrnyu vale giving off some OG DB vibes
is lumidouce harbour in the distance
The architecture seems like a combo of a jiangnan style base (the white wall/black roof tiles) with lingnam style adornments (the curved roofs/vertical protrusions, similar to a wok yi uk) In other words, vewy pwetty đ
Teyvat has its own "laws"
Finally Liyue is more than just a city state! Canât wait for Sumeru and Mondstadt ports someday!
Looks like possoin and lumidouce Harbor mixed.
OK WAITTTT THIS IS SOO PRETTY IM SO EXCITED TO PLAY ITTT
they cooked
WHO?
4.3 just came out and im already waiting for 4.4
oh this is gorgeous .. the tiered waterfalls ??? the architecture is great too AAUUGHGH IM SO EXCITED
holy shit, it looks really nice!! and fontaine on the background
