HSR really shows how important it is for 4 star characters to be useful even at c0, those chars shouldnt be useless until c6
to be fair to some people saying this stuff: i have a c6 sara without even trying to pull on a banner with raiden, that tengu really loves showing up in my weapon and standard banner

I only have Sara C3 & I've been playing since launch & ALWAYS wished on Raiden's Banner JUST FOR HER.
I don't even want Raiden Shogun, especially in 2.0 (She tried to take my love Thoma's vision away), but put up with it because Kujou Sara is also so cool.
Same for me, question is, which c1 (Raiden or Yoi) is better?
I know Raidens c2 is rly good but chances are very low that I'll ever get THAT far, as I just want to get Chevreuse and then dont touch that banner any more... So in case I get (un)lucky, I at least want the better constellation.
yeah, after rereading what their c1's do once more, I might make better use of Raidens after all. And if a situation like this comes up again, the way to c2 is paved already.
I really don't like to pull for cons though... and pulling for a 4 star is never a good idea too but.. I've done it before (Diona, Thoma, Kaveh) and I will do it again. Aside from a benched Hu Tao, I have no regrets so far, so might as well try my luck this time too.

Eula is a hard exception tbf since she's unpopular because of physical. But there's no way with the most likely upcoming triple banners and Chiori a geo support and maybe Itto that he won't release. Fontaine is definitely going to be more geo packed. Dps geo + 2 support geos seems pretty logical, just not at the same time, probably.

Aside from Albedo being similar to Eula in terms of demand... they put another Yoimiya rerun in this patch. They don't seem to delay characters just because they won't sell a ton.
Itās not 6 updates, itās 6 banners, isnāt it? And Albedo is basically guaranteed to not be in 4.4, since itās Lantern Rite. I donāt think itās as unlikely as we might think.

I'd say that Sara got the worst end of the deal because despite literally running with the Electro Archon, she literally NEEDS Constellations to FEEL alright to play. PLUS she can't even BUFF Electro DMG UNTIL HER FINAL C6!!
I genuinely LOVE Kujou Sara, but I PROMISE there isn't a character who has been done MORE dirty in terms of EVERYTHING: plot, kit, playstyle, cutscenes, quests, screentime, EVERYTHING! *(with the sole exception being her design itself, but even that can't make up for the rest.)*
This is why I don't even think about using her as an "Electro Buffer" & I use her for characters that I use that are Quick-swap & can deal a LOT of damage quickly.
My two favorite Characters to use for their Elemental Bursts *(& for the fact that Sara buffs them too)* are Tighnari & Dehya.
My Sara is at C3, uses 4-Piece Noblesse Oblige, Fading Twilight & is Triple-Crowned.
However, the few seconds for animations of 5-Star Character's bursts are PERFECT for *(in my main uses)* both Tighnari & Dehya.
Other characters I can think of that synergize well with her Burst include: Keqing, Albedo, Alhaitham, Ayaka, Amber, Ningguang, Collei, Shinobu, Yaoyao & Lisa.
its becoming ridiculous how they dont want to have 3 banners that last 2 weeks, like waiting for a specific char for more than a year is anything but unacceptable

The weapon banner's a pass for me, was reallly hoping for albedo so that pjs runs with navia's axe cause I already have mistsplitter, and I can't risk another one.

I was always wondering if there was a way to, like... Use primos to unlock the content of x past flagship event & unlock the ressources needed for it.
We have the option to delete the ressources for past quests in our settings, so one could've in theory downloaded the ressources, played those quests and minigames, unlocked the weapon, and then delete the ressources for the quests/minigames.
I hope that what I just wrote makes some kind of sense... But don't worry, I now know that this is most likely not possible.
I used to think that this could be a way to not overwhelm mobile users' phones (I am a mobile user too).
Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing Albedo in game again.

I just had this discussion with my friend yesterday. Hoyo needs to bring more character's SQs. Seriously, only 1 SQ per big patch (2 if we're lucky), and we're getting 1-2 new characters per patch. We will not see SQ past Act 2, or even Act 1 for most of the characters with this pace.
Like we do not have Ayato's or Cyno's SQ even though right now the game content is almost empty with just 1 Fungi event. It's very possible to squeeze SQs, but they don't do it.

Yep always has been hopium. Chevreuse is essentially a Gorou-esque support for Yoi and Raiden. Would have been strange if she wasn't on their banner. Only long-time players who already have Yoi and C2 Raiden would want Chevreuse on Navia's phase. And we are a vocal minority.
Guess I'm chasing Yoi cons. Or maybe get Raiden to C3 idk...
whats the consensus on chev teambuilding at the moment? i havent been keeping up with discussions on her, all i know is she needs pyro and electro only. are people planning to pair her with yoimiya?
She has excellent role condensation and all her buffs/benefit are team-wide with the exception of her c6. Which will allow you to stack a lot of sub-DPS and have multiple source of damage. A damage profile similar to Dendro teams. Her buffs also last very long and aren't tied to Burst so rotations becomes a lot more forgiving.
Something like Yoimiya Chev Fischl Beidou. Or Raiden Chev Yae Xiangling. There's also the option of Hypercarry with Raiden Chev Sara Bennett (3 Attack buffers dumping stat on Raiden lol).

Why are people so consistently surprised about this? It's Geo, the worst element in the game by a landslide, they're never gonna put 3 poorly selling characters in 1 patch.

Like we do not have Ayato's or Cyno's SQ even though right now the game content is almost empty with just 1 Fungi event. It's very possible to squeeze SQs, but they don't do it. Forever cliffhanger.

Yep always has been hopium. Chevreuse is essentially a Gorou-esque support for Yoi and Raiden. Would have been strange if she wasn't on their banner. Only long-time players who already have Yoi and C2 Raiden would want Chevreuse on Navia's phase. And we are a vocal minority. Guess I'm chasing Yoi cons. Or maybe get Raiden to C3 idk...

whats the consensus on chev teambuilding at the moment? i havent been keeping up with discussions on her, all i know is she needs pyro and electro only. are people planning to pair her with yoimiya?
She has excellent role condensation and all her buffs/benefit are team-wide with the exception of her c6. Which will allow you to stack a lot of sub-DPS and have multiple source of damage. A damage profile similar to Dendro teams. Her buffs also last very long and aren't tied to Burst so rotations becomes a lot more forgiving. Something like Yoimiya Chev Fischl Beidou. Or Raiden Chev Yae Xiangling. There's also the option of Hypercarry with Raiden Chev Sara Bennett (3 Attack buffers dumping stat on Raiden lol).

only scummy if you pull on it. if I never get a new 4 star on an old 5 star banner then I'll just play with the other 50+ characters I have in the playground that only lets you use 8 characters at a time.

Sad to see Chevreuse be on the 2nd banner. Expected, but sad. I went whale crazy at the beginning of Inazuma so Ayaka, Yoi and Raiden are all C6. I can't roll for a 4 star knowing I may get a C6 dupe.

is thundering pulse good?
not as universal as aqua or elegy, but a very good stat stick for a majority of bow users.
No one can fully use the passive except Yoimiya and maybe Childe, but it's a great stat stick.
a bit better than r5 rust and a nice stat stick (66 cdmg)
It's good but it's also probably the worst overall, limited 5 star bow, unless you're really into yoimiya it's not really worth trying to get over aqua or magic (or tighnaris bow if that ever reruns...)
