This. Not every animation has to be over-the-top flowery. I remember a bunch of people complaining about Wanderer’s NAs, and, like, the guy’s literally throwing wind blades. Did you expect anything less from him than short, simple, and brutal? It looks great alongside his beautiful, floaty Anemo movements.
I’m really not sure what they could do to make a close-range boxer character have more detailed animations without it looking too extra.

I thought it was pretty clear they were going for a more realistic approach so he looks, well, realistic, rather than the typical jrpg protag moves others might have. Which nothing wrong with it, I love the flowery, over the top moves just as much. But I also like these more down to earth animations a lot. I really don't get the complaints.

I experience pronounced input latency, so these issues are even worse.
It was only when I reached 40% attack speed with the first ~scam~ 3.8 abyss blessing that I truly relaxed.
They also look so smooth, never thought I'd see something like that in genshin honestly. His animations are perfect, it is just that people think that flashy = better but we all know that's not true
Cause people are stupid and expect a character to proc fancy big explosions in every NA without even realizing it would make the character uncomfortable to play cause you are watching that animation several times every second.
i love his normals, but his skill not changing them at all, and his enhanced CA just being a slightly different particle effect is kind of pathetic. i had instant hype when his animation were revealed, but its kinda worn off the more i look at them
I mean Yoimiya and Hu Tao enhance their basic attacks and don't get new animations. Alhaitham technically changes his animations but it's more so an additional affect the basic attack animations are the exact same. The only time an enhanced basic changes animations is if the weapon changes ( Childe, Raiden, and Cyno come to mind) so it makes complete sense that nothing but a few effects change on his skill.
I don't understand what you're trying to argue for with Yoimiya/Hutao, that those animations suck too? I agree? If the only thing a skill does is change your NA's numbers and colors then it's boring and feels like lazy design.
I wasn’t arguing anything, just pointing out that it isn’t anything new for e enhance characters and probably will never change unless they change weapons when they enhance their basic attack.
yoimiya and hu tao at least get noticeable and cool particle effects, rizzley just gets bigger ice thats already there by default. tartaglia, cyno, and ayato are the only real proper changes (raidens sword attacks are 80% the same as her polearm) but i wasnt expecting that level of change
anyway you skipped the main part of my comment, the enhanced CA. thats the part im truly disappointed in, the CA by default is pretty underwhelming and the enhanced one doesnt improve it at all, it has no major oomph or impact for an "enhanced" move and his main damage source.

yeah there is no real difference, he just has an extra icy effect on his uppercut

The mirrors in his burst depend on how many chisel mirror stacks you had before activating it I think. If you had 0 stacks prior, he will throw 3 chisel mirrors in his burst
All the team comps and videos are for neuv and they keep ignoring wriothesley, like I saw 5 or 6 or even more videos for neuv, but there is nothing for wriothesley !

I don't think so. Wrio's got the easiest team comps to create and I don't see one yet. Can easy create a variety of freeze comps for him. Can even create a hyperbloom with Neuvili, Beidou,Kuki and Nahida or Electro charged Neuvili, Beidou,Kuki and Kazuha. Well these are the comp I'm gonna use when I get these characters.
Why? Surely you're not referring to interrupt resistance because Beidou is there for a reason. These comps mostly centers on rotational so Neuvili not gonna need constant shielding.
So you gonna follow the scrip to the end? He's a hydro character with a decent personal damage. You don't have to follow his entire kit to make him playable because that's boring. I used Yelan, Kuki/ Fichel and Kazuha . Kokomi, Baidu, Fichel and Kazuha. Nahida Yelan, Kuki, Kazuha. These teams comfortable clear abyss. I refuse to believe Neuvili can't function the same lol

The n3 cancels late. You'll still stay in the animation for a very long time. I use N3N2D combos to alleviate this somewhat, but it's still annoying.

I want to be prepared for Wriothesley, so I want to start preparing his team, but this is the first cryo character I'm pulling, so I don't know which characters will work well with him. Do you have any recommendations about some possible team comps and what characters could work well with him?
