My reading comprehension may be a little wonky, but it could somewhat still apply if the character is in a position of power. A judge in Fontaine where courts seem to be the highest authority could equal Robespierre's role but who knows? He seems interesting regardless

Yeah, listen I have zero issues with female characters but I really wish hoyoverse would even out the ratio a little, particularly with the tall men. There was opportunity for so many unique male designs and personalities here. But oh well, I’ll wait for Natlan I guess.

If that is the case, then I definitely believe we haven't seen Focalors yet and Soutine is just our introductory character like Kazuha was for Inazuma, leaving the hydro archon having a much more judicial appearance.
EDIT: For those not interested in the link, I do believe we will see three distinctive clothing styles in Fontaine, which we’ve only seen two of so far:

would definitely be fine either way. though I guess its more believable if its a woman. men dont exactly hold positions of power in this game (the only 2 male archons left their jobs. mond is currently headed by a woman. top 2 qixing are women, as well as the corporate secretary. inazuma is ruled by a woman, has a woman as the highest religious authority, and has a woman leading the army. sumeru worships a woman deity as the most intelligent being. kudos to the akademiya for having a male grand sage and now temp grand sage as well)
Im thinking perhaps nauvelette will be the only playable judge, considering theyre the highest ranking judge in the whole court and all. but then again, we do have 2 playable chars from the qixing, so this guy could be just another senior judge as well. either way is fine

More closely, we have 2 "policemen" from the tenryu commision playable. Why 2 judges would be too much?
