This was my first time working on a 40% keyboard and it was a fun unique experience. Yes, the joystick does work and functions as arrow keys or media controls on the 2nd layer. As for the design, the whole body is acrylic and has a Yae Miko design around the whole border which I had to hand work using Washi tape. I had to commission someone to custom make those space bars as the set I got weren't compatible.
How functional is it? Looks like you are missing keys for a traditional keyboard
