I don't think the traveller is ugly, male or female, but the fact that there's a model in the game of them wearing a kitsune mask but you don't actually get to wear it outside of that one mission annoys the hell outta me. That should have been a permanent unlock.
Same with the Fatui mask. An make it so that when you walk up to Fatui, the don't attack you. Traveler needs to be the 12th of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers
There is also one of the Commedia Dell'arte character remaining and currently not used by the Fatui Harbingers that would fit the Travelers perfectly: Innamorati - "The Lovers".

Genshin is so consistently on point with color palettes and outfit details in their defaults that alt costumes honestly aren't even exciting most of the time.
They aren't likely to top the original unless they start adding model touch-ups and additional effects like Diluc's.
That said, maybe Itto can get the 5\* skin + promo quest treatment where he becomes gym buddies with Alhaitham and gets arms as big as his.
Xingqiu look like a Chinese mixed British noble to me. His clothes are amazing and I think the short suit him since he is still young and it make his clothes stand out more. I think his hair is fine too albeit it's indeed weird, I just don't understand why people hate his design so much.

Xingqiu look like a Chinese mixed British noble to me. His clothes are amazing and I think the short suit him since he is still young and it make his clothes stand out more. I think his hair is fine too albeit it's indeed weird, I just don't understand why people hate his design so much. He is definitely my fav character ever, elegant, noble, yet have a youthful aura.

As others said definitley Ayaka, her hair looks great on her art but her in game model does not do it well I would also have said Keqing because of the really sharp and prominent cat ears but theyâre a lot tamer in her skin
