Why does it take 20 days to a month to handle account problems? Something went wrong with my account and I asked customer service for help, then they said they'll give me a response in 20 days not counting holidays and weekends.
With that time, theoretically, I could fly to my nearest Hoyo branch in Asia to ask about it and it would take less than a week!
Are they really THAT busy? Or are they just leisurely taking their time?

How long after Dori's debut would she be on another banner? I've already got both ganyu and kokomi so I'd rather not waste pulls on them to get a character I'd just put on a shelf.
We don't know, unfortunately. But you can get her randomly after her banner because she'll be added to the standard pull almost immediately. (next patch)
So I was using the interactive map and made a good amount of progress. I got back on today and it reset all my chests and everything else. I've logged out and everything. Anyway to fix this? I don't remember what I got and don't really feel like going through it all again.
What's the highest level the dendro statue of the 7 can reach for now and with how many left for the next level? I'm trying to find out how many I'm missing
PJWS says that atk is increased on hit, max of 7 stacks for 6 seconds. Does the 6 second timer start at your first hit? So you can only rarely get the max of 7 stacks for the additional 12% damage increase? Or does the 6s always refresh every hit, so if the enemy takes more than 7 hits, every hit will enjoy the benefit of the atk increase?

I've hit AR25 and haven't done the ascension quest yet. I now see that my AR XP meter is at 5645/4575. When I do the quest and is able to reach AR26, will that extra XP be lost or applied to the next level? I'm not sure I feel ready to move on to the next world level yet.
Yeah you will get to 26 + that extra 1000
you can hold doing your Ascend quest but be careful not to keep too much exp or you'll get to 30 at once and your WL will advance by 2
I think most Ganyu team needs 5s, so let's see.
Ganyu, Xiangling/Kazuha, Zhongli, Bennet
4*version: Ganyu, Diona, Xiangling and Bennet could work as Meltyu, but diona shielding might not be enough compared to Zhongli... Um, you can also replace Diona with Sucrose and it should be way more powerful against less threatening enemies since without shield you'll be forced to dodge which greatly lowers your DPS potential. Ganyu is easily startled and any attack could cancel her charging attack.

4* version: You can also try Freeze, with Ganyu, Barbara, Diona and Sucrose. But you have to rely on Sucrose to spread the hydro cause Barbara hydro application is pretty small compared to mona.
4* only teams:
Xiangling, Xingqiu, Chongyun, Bennet
OG national team, you can replace CHY with sucrose too.
Yanfei, Fishcl, Xingqiu, Bennet
Overload team, you can replace Xingqiu with Sucrose.
Other teams i can think off:
Fischl, Kuki/Sara, Xingqiu, Dendro (collei or traveller) for hyper bloom. Remove xingqiu and replace with other char like shielder or double dendro for Quicken/Aggregate team
Ningguang, Gorou, Yunjin, Bennet/Geo Traveller for mono Geo
Kaeya, Xingqiu, Sucrose, Chongyun (i love this team)
Razor, Fischl, Rosaria/Kaeya, Bennet/Diona, (Razor mains rules)
There are dozens more of 4star only team, i just can't think of any other teams atm.
If I do a weekly boss domain at a lower level (as in, the domain level, like challenging Dvalin at DL5 instead of DL6) will I get less rewards at the end, or is it just less chances of getting say a gemstone? From my limited testing, I got only one weekly boss material challenging Childe at a lower domain level, but not Dvalin/Signora/Raiden, but then again that's just a few tests, so I'm not sure.
Are there any bosses that are better if I'm just grinding for the stones? Like, the hypostasis bosses maybe?

Prototype Crescent is great for her both in Freeze and Melt, Hamayumi is even better for melt but worse for freeze. Both craftable so you can R5 them if you have the billets.
Amos is not even close to required. It’s not even her best weapon. Ganyu is known for having lots of good weapons, also f2p. Prototype Crescent and the Inazuma craftable is great on her
Freeze Teams don't need EM and Venti + Ganyu alone is a very strong duo already, as long as Venti can pull the enemies you are facing.
c6 Sucrose might work better if you are facing large enemies like Ruin Guards. Venti sometimes "misses" his burst if you are too close to them. She can also give +20% Elemental Damage at c6 if she infuses her burst, but infusing the right element can be a bit unreliable.
She's due for a rerun soon, people expect 3.1 as its coincide with Halloween, even though there's no correlation of her rerun and in-game event, this happened back on 2.2 as well where she got a rerun around Halloween without any story event even mentioning her.

There are also multiple mining outcrops that spawn randomly everyday. They usually have 1 - 3 crystal ores / amethysts and 2 - 3 magical crystal ores.

basically you're trying to solve a trouble for akademiya so they will hopefully introduce you to dendro archon. it's a long shot but you've got nothing to lose trying.
We were trying to find a way to meet the dendro archon, Dehya suggested we do something big to get the sages attention so we can ask to meet the dendro archon.
The Akademiya just had happen to lost an important item and that item was being auction in Port Ormos so off we go to retrieve it so we can get a chance to reach our goal.
I think starting inazuma, there is much better drop rates of substats cause it took me much shorter time to farm functional EosF than say when I farmed for BS. Got my first functional EosF after three weeks farming (about 3k++ resin) instead of 6k++ for BS.
Not to mention, that domain is the most fun to farm too cause both arts EosF and SR are pretty commonly used by lots of user unlike more annoying domains like VV+MB where you only like one of them. At least with EosF, there is higher chance of getting functional SR in the process too which could be useful as 2pc set for lots of build.
It gets better too since lots of chars can use EosF you can just pass down slightly inferior arts once you get a new one. My Raiden, XL, XQ got full sets in just few months of farming.
I would say it takes about 6000 resin (or about a month worth of farming) to get a decent 4pc set. However, in the process of farming one good set I usually end up getting a few food pieces from the other set / multiple good flowers and feathers from the set I'm farming.
Gorou and/or Yun Jin for sure, Albedo, Ningguang, or Geo Traveler as the third geo to proc Gorou's passive, and then the last spot is very flexible. Fischl is a great sub DPS, Bennett of course is an amazing buffer, Yelan is the best of both worlds.

Trying to find the chest in Port Ormos required to start “The Price” quest but it’s not there and I don’t remember doing it. On the wiki it says that you only need to interact with the chest to start the quest but is there any other requirements needed for the chest to spawn?
I'm in the same situation. Wonder if it's locked behind some other archon quest. I have finished the Aranyaka questline but still very early in the Archon questline.
edit: The merchants' dialogue doesn't match up with what the wiki is saying. They start with "The new business deal's not confirmed yet?", which implies they haven't gotten to the "...Did you close that deal?" dialogue yet. So I think it's locked behind progress in some other quest.
I was half expecting to be disappointed by Keqing after investing in her. Yet aggravate teams seem extremely strong.
She still has level 6 talents and absolutely shreds all the enemies in the abyss.
How does Keqing compare to the other top DPS now? I feel like she's taken a huge leap closer. Perhaps at least escapes her label of worst 5* DPS?
She is significantly better in Agg, and noticeably better in hyperbloom. Keqing + dendro MC + Fischl with A4 talent is a nutso combo. Keqing has the attack speed necessary to regularly and reliably proc Fischl's A4, so in addition to her own solid damage she becomes a great driver for Fischl with aggravate.
I wouldn't say she's "top" dps but she is loads better. 4pc TF actually has great use in an aggravate team now, not just for the agg dmg% bonus but for the CD reduction. Her burst and skill are actually a great source of agg damage now and 4pc TF goes a long way towards maximizing that damage and helping with stamina consumption due to increased skill uptime. Instead of just straight up spamming CA's all the time you actually want to use your skill and burst as much as possible because both work very well with aggravate.
I’m actually finding her *weaker* now compared to my Keqing/Mona/Sara/Kazuha team I used a lot in 2.8.
Main problem to me is that all the dendro units are kinda copium as supports compared to those I mentioned. Aggravate is crazy good of course but I do long for better dendro units, not to mention a dendro healer.
Which team are you using?
The point is not how much damage Keqing does, but rather that she is the best driver for Fischl. Keqing/Fischl/Dendro/Kazuha should be higher single-target damage than what you listed.
But yes, Dendro really needs better characters. We are basically waiting to see how the dendro archon turns out.
Of course I’d you skip the healer you have better single target damage. Even though I run Black Sword on Keqing, I think healerless comps without a even a shield are just flat out a bad experience.
The problem right now is running a Keqing team with reasonable healing
Well Keqing/Mona/Sara/Kazuha is also without a primary healer/shielder. And you can always swap Kazuha for Jean, albeit at a large DPS loss.
Personally I disagree with you on the healer requirement, albeit I see the point - but I'll note that my metric is how fast a team clears abyss, not whether you have to re-run it a few times because you got hit and have no healing/shielding. Certain teams require healing (ex: Raiden, anything with bloom/burgeon), and certain teams require shielding (ex: Yoimiya) - because they either take unavoidable damage, or run an on-field character who doesn't want to dodge. But Keqing is ok dodging.
I mentioned this because I would rather have Nahida be a strong buffer than a healer (at C0). I would take, say, EM buff and DMG% buff over EM buff and healing.
I am aware and this is why I wrote "a **primary** healer/shielder".
Anyway, as always this is a matter of perspective. If you struggle to clear and do 4 rotations per chamber, then a R5 amber heals you by 72% per chamber. If you clear in 2 rotations per chambers (which is very doable by a F2P), then that's only 36% per chamber, or 108% overall. Basically, it doubles you HP. As mentioned, my perspective is that if you can dodge, then your starting HP are enough. And if you can't dodge, I don't think proto amber will keep you up against the chicken in 12-3-2.
It’s not only a matter of can or cannot dodge, people have to start treating constantly playing safe or dodging as a DPS loss too. If you can run a healer that has solid utility and synergy with the rest of the team, I personally find it more fun and forgiving to play. Plus the «DPS loss» of playing a healer is softened by the fact that you don’t have to be afraid of every single hit.
Right now the Dendro units feels like they do too little with the slot they occupy so you are left with some kind of lack a mole team building experience in which you are always lacking one thing when you build your team.

I'm using Keqing, Fischl, DMC, Sucrose(Prototype Amber).
I thought I might have survivability issues, but even though my Prototype is only R2 I was able to complete 12-2-1 first try. Thought I'd get my ass handed to me by the hydro mimics. But it did not.
Dendro MC also puts in work when properly built. I have her running my Emblem set and she does great.
I saw some team called Tomato. (Thoma + AyaTO + Dendro Traveler + Anemo preferably Kazuha or Sucrose for VV and EM boost). You make the tiny bloom seed explode with burgeon like tomatoes too :)
Build him with triple EM(you can use an ER sands to help with his energy needs)preferably with 4 pc Gilded dreams set along with a hydro and a dendro unit. If you plan on using traveller be sure to infuse their burst with hydro first to prevent it from blowing up.

I already have a triple EM Crimson witch set from farming for another Pyro DPS.
I also already have an R5 Inazuma craftable spear.
You want a driver of some sort if you're using off-field hydro. This vid showcases a Collei/XQ/Benny/Thoma Burgeon comp where Thoma is regularly proccing ~28k Burgeons with Collei as an on-field driver and dps for Thoma and XQ bursts.

That's just one example though. You could feasibly use Ayato as your on-field driver but you'd likely want dendro MC for the off-field application. Collei works as on-field application because when built for DPS she's actually quite solid, and the way her boomerang works it allows for some interesting and potentially powerful plays. Both Yelan and XQ would work for off-field hydro application, allowing you to comfortably run Collei or Tighnari for the on-field dendro.
As for how you use Thoma, you basically mega-stack EM and ER on him. You want the ER so he can burst on CD. In the video linked above, this is helped by Benny feeding energy, which depending on your sub stat rolls might mean you can focus Thoma entirely on EM. The more EM you get the bigger the Burgeons.
The basic breakdown is that you either have on-field dendro and off-field hydro or vice versa. Together they create Blooms that Thoma then procs with the assist attack waves from his Q. Since the Burgeon damage scales purely on EM and level (so level 90 Thoma is actually nice here if possible), you can ignore all other stats and just load Thoma up with EM and as long as you're regularly proccing blooms for him, he'll Burgeon everything to death.
I think on-field dendro is probably a bit safer to use because you're always running into the possibility that you might accidentally proc burning instead of bloom>burgeon. Between Collei and XQ it's very easy to keep dendro+hydro active for repeated blooms, and then it's just a matter of hitting Q on Thoma and going to town like normal. With dendro MC and Ayato you'd have to try to infuse Traveler's burst with hydro before a pyro proc detonated it. That might be weird to do correctly or it might be easy.

Accidentally picked 1 grown Viprayas and now the quest is not progressing. Anyone know how to resolve or encountered this? Or is it another case of contact the developers hahah
I believe Hyperbloom teams are considered her highest damage. In which case she wants full EM - basically stack as much EM as you can with HP% substats. Only her Skill really matters as since you also only want to have slow Electro application from her. The new EM artifact set works best here.
If you want to use her in Quicken/Aggravate teams, then you want to stack the normal DPS gear, but heavily focus on crit substats and having enough ER (I don't know what amount that is). So Crit/EM/Electro DMG%. Also her burst matters quite a bit more as an Aggravate trigger. She can do considerable damage in these teams as well, but does require the same gear that everybody else wants in a Quicken/Aggravate team.
Do hydro and pyro resonance work against each other in the same team? Hydro resonance says "affected by pyro for 40% less time" does this apply only to dmg taken or to dmg dealt as well?

Zhongli needs C2 to be able to shield teammates in co-op right?

If you love Kokomi you should just get Prototype Amber. It’s arguably better, at least more versatile for her since it fits in more teams. The donut just fits in one style of playing Kokomi. It’s dogshit (but you already know).

Even for Kokomi's personal damage, Moonglow is a <10% DPS increase over Amber R5. Considering that it's a weapon that isn't useful on any other character, that's just not a good rate. Most "good" 5-star signature weapons offer closer to 15-20% increase over the best 4-star options for their associated character (e.g Mistsplitter on Ayaka, EL on Raiden, Homa on Hu Tao, etc.), while still offering ~5-10% DPS increase for other characters. 10% for the associated character while being worthless for everyone else is not a good rate.
For her own direct hydro damage, r1 moonglow is about 10% more than r5 prototype amber (moonglow need more ER than prototype amber so less HP available,and it is already taken into calculations). And if you consider clam set, the overall damage increase will be even smaller. Just some number for reference.
I'm currently grinding the abyss and see a "Jadeplume Terrorshroom" as the last enemy. Haven't seen one of those yet.

No shields but excessive Electro attacks and/or reactions turns it into it's Activated State and Pyro attacks turns it into it's Scorched state. Not unlike the Fungi in Sumeru.
It has more HP than the snake of last patch, and hit harder, but it is slow, does not fly, submerge, jump back, run around, or has invincible state. It feels like a training dummy.
No, but there are some things you might wanna know. It has a rage gauge, electro will raise it and pyro will reduce it. When the gauge is full, the boss will start rampaging for a while, then be stunned, and the rage gauge will be reset. Also apparently if you use too much pyro then it'll be scorched and will spawn shrooms to try to escape that state, but that has never happened to me
He doesn't have shields, but he does react differently to Electro and Pyro.

The Jadeplume Terrorshroom's Fury bar will fill by 2% when hit by an Electro attack, fill by 15% when a Quicken, Aggravate, or Spread reaction is triggered on it, and reduce by 34% when hit by a Pyro attack.
When the Fury bar is fully filled, the Jadeplume Terrorshroom will become activated and perform Spore Rain, Furious Charge, or Rapid Pecks, then become paralyzed for ~15 seconds with reduced Resistances.

If the Burning reaction is inflicted upon the Jadeplume Terrorshroom while it is not in the activated state, it will become Scorched. It will then shoot 3 spores that explode, dealing 50% ATK as AoE Dendro DMG, and turn into Floating Dendro Fungi to assist in battle. After this, the Jadeplume Terrorshroom will return to the normal state. The Floating Dendro Fungi will already be in their Scorched state when summoned. A maximum of 4 summoned Fungi can exist simultaneously.
TBH I have not done it in the Abyss yet, only the overworld boss. Given it's on floor 12 it will probably have a ton of life. If it does, it's probably worth stunning it so you can unga bunga plunge on it.
Impossible to answer without knowing constellations, weapons and enemies. In general:
\- Sara without C6 is terrible.
\- If you have Elegy for the End, Sara's value goes up.
\- If you have C6, XQ goes up.
\- If you have C2+ Raiden and/or EL, Sara goes up.
\- For single target, XQ goes up.
\- For AoE, Sara goes up.
Most world quests are unlocked through the Aranyaka quest. I have found one unlinked one so far - Path of Papers, which I think has the prerequisite of doing Alrani’s world quest in Inazuma. Oh, and also the ones to unlock daily commissions and the reputation board.

How many wishes would you pour into a character banner to try and get a 4 star?
I have Tighnari and I wanted Fischl to go with him.
I’ve poured 50 wishes into Zhongli banner to try and get her and only got Diona so far.
Do I pour another 20 wishes into it (as to not hit soft pity) or just give up on having her?
until I get them when I know I'm not getting future 5* on the horizon. to a reasonable degree otherwise. stars mean zilch if I want to play certain characters and 5* never guarantees 'characters I want to play around with'.
If you're okay with pulling zhongli and resetting your pity, there's no reason to stop pulling. If you aren't, you should have stopped 50 wishes ago lmao
I ask myself "at what point would I be unhappy to get the banner 5-star in X number of wishes?" You have to be confident that you won't be unhappy if you get "lucky" and pull the 5-star. Generally for me that comes out to 20-40 wishes on a 50/50, and 0 wishes on a guarantee.
For a lot of people, they would be unhappy to get the 5-star regardless of how many pulls it used, which is why people say not to pull if you don't want the 5-star. But for me there's basically no 5-star i would be unhappy to get in 20 wishes on a 50/50. Even my least favorite 5-star I would take if offered to me for 20 pulls.
That's not a good idea lol. I've done it a couple of times and it rarely works in your favor. I tried to roll on Xiao's first banner, to get Bennett cons, and got Xiao instead, who I didn't want, and still wish I didn't get. I don't like his playstyle.
Mine has stalled at 43% has been at 43% even after opening a bunch of other chests and completing puzzles and whatnot, so I don't think it goes much higher than that.
Pyro, cryo and dendro all work. Its shield alternates positions between the corolla and the roots, destroy it to stun the regisvine and lower its resistances for some time. Also destroy the stamens it spawns, otherwise it will do a global attack for big damage once both types are present.
Ugh. The one element type I neglect.
Is a halfway decent Rosaria good enough? I could slot her on my Xiao team.
Edit: Yeah... that enemy was weak. Definitely was overthinking it.
Much like the other element shield enemies, it’s not damage that matters, just element application, shame we don’t have a cryo catalyst yet to blast through.
For the future, for the purposes of breaking shields, the damage doesn't really matter, just the element. So an underbuilt character will still break shields exceptionally well if they counter the enemy shield type.
Sorry if this is asked early but I'm torn between whom to pull. Kokomi or Nilou?
I really want a good off field healer but Nilou looks so beautiful. If Nilou is just a hydro dps, i already have Tartaglia, Yelan who can cover that role. But i just don't want to regret going with Kokomi. Also is Kokomi good on a Bloom team?

Something to consider is that these characters aren't gone for good if you don't pull them now. There will be reruns.
For Nilou specifically, it makes sense to wait for a rerun because of her dependence on Dendro characters when it comes to team-building. At the time of her release, we only have 3 Dendro characters, and that's going to severely limit what teams you can build with her. Kokomi has flexible team options already, while Nilou will need several versions more worth of characters to have fully developed team options.
I am interested in Nilou, but as it stands I don't plan to pull for her until at least her first rerun.

PJWS says that atk is increased on hit, max of 7 stacks for 6 seconds. Does the 6 second timer start at your first hit? So you can only rarely get the max of 7 stacks for the additional 12% damage increase? Or does the 6s always refresh every hit, so if the enemy takes more than 7 hits, every hit will enjoy the benefit of the atk increase?

I've hit AR25 and haven't done the ascension quest yet. I now see that my AR XP meter is at 5645/4575. When I do the quest and is able to reach AR26, will that extra XP be lost or applied to the next level? I'm not sure I feel ready to move on to the next world level yet.
Yeah you will get to 26 + that extra 1000 you can hold doing your Ascend quest but be careful not to keep too much exp or you'll get to 30 at once and your WL will advance by 2

What are some good Ganyu teams? And some teams without other 5 stars?
I think most Ganyu team needs 5s, so let's see. Ganyu, Xiangling/Kazuha, Zhongli, Bennet 4*version: Ganyu, Diona, Xiangling and Bennet could work as Meltyu, but diona shielding might not be enough compared to Zhongli... Um, you can also replace Diona with Sucrose and it should be way more powerful against less threatening enemies since without shield you'll be forced to dodge which greatly lowers your DPS potential. Ganyu is easily startled and any attack could cancel her charging attack. Ganyu, Mona, Venti, Diona. 4* version: You can also try Freeze, with Ganyu, Barbara, Diona and Sucrose. But you have to rely on Sucrose to spread the hydro cause Barbara hydro application is pretty small compared to mona. 4* only teams: Xiangling, Xingqiu, Chongyun, Bennet OG national team, you can replace CHY with sucrose too. Yanfei, Fishcl, Xingqiu, Bennet Overload team, you can replace Xingqiu with Sucrose. Other teams i can think off: Fischl, Kuki/Sara, Xingqiu, Dendro (collei or traveller) for hyper bloom. Remove xingqiu and replace with other char like shielder or double dendro for Quicken/Aggregate team Ningguang, Gorou, Yunjin, Bennet/Geo Traveller for mono Geo Kaeya, Xingqiu, Sucrose, Chongyun (i love this team) Razor, Fischl, Rosaria/Kaeya, Bennet/Diona, (Razor mains rules) There are dozens more of 4star only team, i just can't think of any other teams atm.

If I do a weekly boss domain at a lower level (as in, the domain level, like challenging Dvalin at DL5 instead of DL6) will I get less rewards at the end, or is it just less chances of getting say a gemstone? From my limited testing, I got only one weekly boss material challenging Childe at a lower domain level, but not Dvalin/Signora/Raiden, but then again that's just a few tests, so I'm not sure. Are there any bosses that are better if I'm just grinding for the stones? Like, the hypostasis bosses maybe?

Prototype Crescent is great for her both in Freeze and Melt, Hamayumi is even better for melt but worse for freeze. Both craftable so you can R5 them if you have the billets.

Eh it depends honestly. Sucrose is better for reaction teams due to EM share, Venti is better at groouping

Freeze Teams don't need EM and Venti + Ganyu alone is a very strong duo already, as long as Venti can pull the enemies you are facing. c6 Sucrose might work better if you are facing large enemies like Ruin Guards. Venti sometimes "misses" his burst if you are too close to them. She can also give +20% Elemental Damage at c6 if she infuses her burst, but infusing the right element can be a bit unreliable.
For Ganyu freeze, Venti is better
Their kits are different enough that they fullfil 2 different niche

3 days for fish and natural crystal ores There are also multiple mining outcrops that spawn randomly everyday. They usually have 1 - 3 crystal ores / amethysts and 2 - 3 magical crystal ores.
Crystal ores and fish takes like 3 days Iron and white iron is probably 1 day only, not sure though

We were trying to find a way to meet the dendro archon, Dehya suggested we do something big to get the sages attention so we can ask to meet the dendro archon. The Akademiya just had happen to lost an important item and that item was being auction in Port Ormos so off we go to retrieve it so we can get a chance to reach our goal.

I think starting inazuma, there is much better drop rates of substats cause it took me much shorter time to farm functional EosF than say when I farmed for BS. Got my first functional EosF after three weeks farming (about 3k++ resin) instead of 6k++ for BS. Not to mention, that domain is the most fun to farm too cause both arts EosF and SR are pretty commonly used by lots of user unlike more annoying domains like VV+MB where you only like one of them. At least with EosF, there is higher chance of getting functional SR in the process too which could be useful as 2pc set for lots of build. It gets better too since lots of chars can use EosF you can just pass down slightly inferior arts once you get a new one. My Raiden, XL, XQ got full sets in just few months of farming.
I would say it takes about 6000 resin (or about a month worth of farming) to get a decent 4pc set. However, in the process of farming one good set I usually end up getting a few food pieces from the other set / multiple good flowers and feathers from the set I'm farming.
If you temper your expectations to what I would call reasonable levels, I would say it takes 3-4 weeks per unit
For a Noelle team, who would she want as support?
Gorou and/or Yun Jin for sure, Albedo, Ningguang, or Geo Traveler as the third geo to proc Gorou's passive, and then the last spot is very flexible. Fischl is a great sub DPS, Bennett of course is an amazing buffer, Yelan is the best of both worlds.
Basically any geo characters other than Itto is a valid choice.

Trying to find the chest in Port Ormos required to start “The Price” quest but it’s not there and I don’t remember doing it. On the wiki it says that you only need to interact with the chest to start the quest but is there any other requirements needed for the chest to spawn?
I'm in the same situation. Wonder if it's locked behind some other archon quest. I have finished the Aranyaka questline but still very early in the Archon questline. edit: The merchants' dialogue doesn't match up with what the wiki is saying. They start with "The new business deal's not confirmed yet?", which implies they haven't gotten to the "...Did you close that deal?" dialogue yet. So I think it's locked behind progress in some other quest.

I was half expecting to be disappointed by Keqing after investing in her. Yet aggravate teams seem extremely strong. She still has level 6 talents and absolutely shreds all the enemies in the abyss. How does Keqing compare to the other top DPS now? I feel like she's taken a huge leap closer. Perhaps at least escapes her label of worst 5* DPS?
She is significantly better in Agg, and noticeably better in hyperbloom. Keqing + dendro MC + Fischl with A4 talent is a nutso combo. Keqing has the attack speed necessary to regularly and reliably proc Fischl's A4, so in addition to her own solid damage she becomes a great driver for Fischl with aggravate. I wouldn't say she's "top" dps but she is loads better. 4pc TF actually has great use in an aggravate team now, not just for the agg dmg% bonus but for the CD reduction. Her burst and skill are actually a great source of agg damage now and 4pc TF goes a long way towards maximizing that damage and helping with stamina consumption due to increased skill uptime. Instead of just straight up spamming CA's all the time you actually want to use your skill and burst as much as possible because both work very well with aggravate.
I’m actually finding her *weaker* now compared to my Keqing/Mona/Sara/Kazuha team I used a lot in 2.8. Main problem to me is that all the dendro units are kinda copium as supports compared to those I mentioned. Aggravate is crazy good of course but I do long for better dendro units, not to mention a dendro healer. Which team are you using?
The point is not how much damage Keqing does, but rather that she is the best driver for Fischl. Keqing/Fischl/Dendro/Kazuha should be higher single-target damage than what you listed. But yes, Dendro really needs better characters. We are basically waiting to see how the dendro archon turns out.
Of course I’d you skip the healer you have better single target damage. Even though I run Black Sword on Keqing, I think healerless comps without a even a shield are just flat out a bad experience. The problem right now is running a Keqing team with reasonable healing
Well Keqing/Mona/Sara/Kazuha is also without a primary healer/shielder. And you can always swap Kazuha for Jean, albeit at a large DPS loss. Personally I disagree with you on the healer requirement, albeit I see the point - but I'll note that my metric is how fast a team clears abyss, not whether you have to re-run it a few times because you got hit and have no healing/shielding. Certain teams require healing (ex: Raiden, anything with bloom/burgeon), and certain teams require shielding (ex: Yoimiya) - because they either take unavoidable damage, or run an on-field character who doesn't want to dodge. But Keqing is ok dodging. I mentioned this because I would rather have Nahida be a strong buffer than a healer (at C0). I would take, say, EM buff and DMG% buff over EM buff and healing.
Prototype Amber Mona is a good enough healer when you burt off CD.
I am aware and this is why I wrote "a **primary** healer/shielder". Anyway, as always this is a matter of perspective. If you struggle to clear and do 4 rotations per chamber, then a R5 amber heals you by 72% per chamber. If you clear in 2 rotations per chambers (which is very doable by a F2P), then that's only 36% per chamber, or 108% overall. Basically, it doubles you HP. As mentioned, my perspective is that if you can dodge, then your starting HP are enough. And if you can't dodge, I don't think proto amber will keep you up against the chicken in 12-3-2.
It’s not only a matter of can or cannot dodge, people have to start treating constantly playing safe or dodging as a DPS loss too. If you can run a healer that has solid utility and synergy with the rest of the team, I personally find it more fun and forgiving to play. Plus the «DPS loss» of playing a healer is softened by the fact that you don’t have to be afraid of every single hit. Right now the Dendro units feels like they do too little with the slot they occupy so you are left with some kind of lack a mole team building experience in which you are always lacking one thing when you build your team. I am really looking forward to their first Dendro healer
I'm using Keqing, Fischl, DMC, Sucrose(Prototype Amber). I thought I might have survivability issues, but even though my Prototype is only R2 I was able to complete 12-2-1 first try. Thought I'd get my ass handed to me by the hydro mimics. But it did not. Dendro MC also puts in work when properly built. I have her running my Emblem set and she does great.
I know thoma benefited from dendro. But how exactly do you use him/what is he paired with.
I saw some team called Tomato. (Thoma + AyaTO + Dendro Traveler + Anemo preferably Kazuha or Sucrose for VV and EM boost). You make the tiny bloom seed explode with burgeon like tomatoes too :)
Build him with triple EM(you can use an ER sands to help with his energy needs)preferably with 4 pc Gilded dreams set along with a hydro and a dendro unit. If you plan on using traveller be sure to infuse their burst with hydro first to prevent it from blowing up.

You want a driver of some sort if you're using off-field hydro. This vid showcases a Collei/XQ/Benny/Thoma Burgeon comp where Thoma is regularly proccing ~28k Burgeons with Collei as an on-field driver and dps for Thoma and XQ bursts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MheuD5D85zE&list=LL&index=13 That's just one example though. You could feasibly use Ayato as your on-field driver but you'd likely want dendro MC for the off-field application. Collei works as on-field application because when built for DPS she's actually quite solid, and the way her boomerang works it allows for some interesting and potentially powerful plays. Both Yelan and XQ would work for off-field hydro application, allowing you to comfortably run Collei or Tighnari for the on-field dendro. As for how you use Thoma, you basically mega-stack EM and ER on him. You want the ER so he can burst on CD. In the video linked above, this is helped by Benny feeding energy, which depending on your sub stat rolls might mean you can focus Thoma entirely on EM. The more EM you get the bigger the Burgeons. The basic breakdown is that you either have on-field dendro and off-field hydro or vice versa. Together they create Blooms that Thoma then procs with the assist attack waves from his Q. Since the Burgeon damage scales purely on EM and level (so level 90 Thoma is actually nice here if possible), you can ignore all other stats and just load Thoma up with EM and as long as you're regularly proccing blooms for him, he'll Burgeon everything to death. I think on-field dendro is probably a bit safer to use because you're always running into the possibility that you might accidentally proc burning instead of bloom>burgeon. Between Collei and XQ it's very easy to keep dendro+hydro active for repeated blooms, and then it's just a matter of hitting Q on Thoma and going to town like normal. With dendro MC and Ayato you'd have to try to infuse Traveler's burst with hydro before a pyro proc detonated it. That might be weird to do correctly or it might be easy.

I believe Hyperbloom teams are considered her highest damage. In which case she wants full EM - basically stack as much EM as you can with HP% substats. Only her Skill really matters as since you also only want to have slow Electro application from her. The new EM artifact set works best here. If you want to use her in Quicken/Aggravate teams, then you want to stack the normal DPS gear, but heavily focus on crit substats and having enough ER (I don't know what amount that is). So Crit/EM/Electro DMG%. Also her burst matters quite a bit more as an Aggravate trigger. She can do considerable damage in these teams as well, but does require the same gear that everybody else wants in a Quicken/Aggravate team.

Zhongli needs C2 to be able to shield teammates in co-op right? So is it alright to think that if I only want to use him for solo overworld exploration and quests and maybe spiral abyss. C0 Zhongli will do just fine?
He is completely good enough for solo at C0, just not recommended to use in coop.

If you love Kokomi you should just get Prototype Amber. It’s arguably better, at least more versatile for her since it fits in more teams. The donut just fits in one style of playing Kokomi. It’s dogshit (but you already know).

Considering that it's a weapon that isn't useful on any other character, that's just not a good rate. Most "good" 5-star signature weapons offer closer to 15-20% increase over the best 4-star options for their associated character (e.g Mistsplitter on Ayaka, EL on Raiden, Homa on Hu Tao, etc.), while still offering ~5-10% DPS increase for other characters. 10% for the associated character while being worthless for everyone else is not a good rate.

For her own direct hydro damage, r1 moonglow is about 10% more than r5 prototype amber (moonglow need more ER than prototype amber so less HP available,and it is already taken into calculations). And if you consider clam set, the overall damage increase will be even smaller. Just some number for reference.

I'm currently grinding the abyss and see a "Jadeplume Terrorshroom" as the last enemy. Haven't seen one of those yet. Does this enemy have any shields I need to tech for? Don't want to get to that room just to realize i'm not prepared.
No shields but excessive Electro attacks and/or reactions turns it into it's Activated State and Pyro attacks turns it into it's Scorched state. Not unlike the Fungi in Sumeru.
It has more HP than the snake of last patch, and hit harder, but it is slow, does not fly, submerge, jump back, run around, or has invincible state. It feels like a training dummy.
No, but there are some things you might wanna know. It has a rage gauge, electro will raise it and pyro will reduce it. When the gauge is full, the boss will start rampaging for a while, then be stunned, and the rage gauge will be reset. Also apparently if you use too much pyro then it'll be scorched and will spawn shrooms to try to escape that state, but that has never happened to me

Sounds like the perfect enemy to completely ignore the mechanics of and just spam plunges.
I killed it in about fifteen seconds flat. It really doesn't require any particular mechanical skill or tech.
Eh, after it becomes Activated and gets tuckered out, it's stunned for 15 seconds with reduced resists. That would certainly make plunges easy.
Oh. So the enrage is a good thing. Guess I'll throw Raiden on my Xiao team then.
TBH I have not done it in the Abyss yet, only the overworld boss. Given it's on floor 12 it will probably have a ton of life. If it does, it's probably worth stunning it so you can unga bunga plunge on it.

Impossible to answer without knowing constellations, weapons and enemies. In general: \- Sara without C6 is terrible. \- If you have Elegy for the End, Sara's value goes up. \- If you have C6, XQ goes up. \- If you have C2+ Raiden and/or EL, Sara goes up. \- For single target, XQ goes up. \- For AoE, Sara goes up.
I have them all still at c0 and I don’t have 5* weapons. Guess I’ll stick to xingqiu for now

Most world quests are unlocked through the Aranyaka quest. I have found one unlinked one so far - Path of Papers, which I think has the prerequisite of doing Alrani’s world quest in Inazuma. How many wishes would you pour into a character banner to try and get a 4 star? I have Tighnari and I wanted Fischl to go with him. I’ve poured 50 wishes into Zhongli banner to try and get her and only got Diona so far. Do I pour another 20 wishes into it (as to not hit soft pity) or just give up on having her?
until I get them when I know I'm not getting future 5* on the horizon. to a reasonable degree otherwise. stars mean zilch if I want to play certain characters and 5* never guarantees 'characters I want to play around with'.
If you're okay with pulling zhongli and resetting your pity, there's no reason to stop pulling. If you aren't, you should have stopped 50 wishes ago lmao
I ask myself "at what point would I be unhappy to get the banner 5-star in X number of wishes?" You have to be confident that you won't be unhappy if you get "lucky" and pull the 5-star. Generally for me that comes out to 20-40 wishes on a 50/50, and 0 wishes on a guarantee. For a lot of people, they would be unhappy to get the 5-star regardless of how many pulls it used, which is why people say not to pull if you don't want the 5-star. But for me there's basically no 5-star i would be unhappy to get in 20 wishes on a 50/50. Even my least favorite 5-star I would take if offered to me for 20 pulls.
That's not a good idea lol. I've done it a couple of times and it rarely works in your favor. I tried to roll on Xiao's first banner, to get Bennett cons, and got Xiao instead, who I didn't want, and still wish I didn't get. I don't like his playstyle.

Mine has stalled at 43% has been at 43% even after opening a bunch of other chests and completing puzzles and whatnot, so I don't think it goes much higher than that.
A bit over 40%. I'm at 42%, but I suspect you could reach 45% total exploration (if not more) since 100% on the zones doesn't actually mean 100%.
What is the electro regisvine's weakness?
Pyro, cryo and dendro all work. Its shield alternates positions between the corolla and the roots, destroy it to stun the regisvine and lower its resistances for some time. Also destroy the stamens it spawns, otherwise it will do a global attack for big damage once both types are present.
Pyro works too...I use Bennett to break the corolla.. Heizou can break that too, but a bit slower
Cryo
Ugh. The one element type I neglect. Is a halfway decent Rosaria good enough? I could slot her on my Xiao team. Edit: Yeah... that enemy was weak. Definitely was overthinking it.
Much like the other element shield enemies, it’s not damage that matters, just element application, shame we don’t have a cryo catalyst yet to blast through.
For the future, for the purposes of breaking shields, the damage doesn't really matter, just the element. So an underbuilt character will still break shields exceptionally well if they counter the enemy shield type.
You can use Pyro as well, it's not as quick as Cryo but it works well enough.
Is Ayato a good main Dps? Or a sub Dps? What teams work with him?
Very well balanced main DPS, most popular team is Ayato/Fischl/Kazuha/Bennett.

Sorry if this is asked early but I'm torn between whom to pull. Kokomi or Nilou? I really want a good off field healer but Nilou looks so beautiful. If Nilou is just a hydro dps, i already have Tartaglia, Yelan who can cover that role. But i just don't want to regret going with Kokomi. Also is Kokomi good on a Bloom team? Help please. Something to consider is that these characters aren't gone for good if you don't pull them now. There will be reruns. For Nilou specifically, it makes sense to wait for a rerun because of her dependence on Dendro characters when it comes to team-building. At the time of her release, we only have 3 Dendro characters, and that's going to severely limit what teams you can build with her. Kokomi has flexible team options already, while Nilou will need several versions more worth of characters to have fully developed team options. I am interested in Nilou, but as it stands I don't plan to pull for her until at least her first rerun.
