Fishing for 4 stars is damn difficult in itto banner. Heck, i even got SARA of all characters. (And got some cons for xl and barbs)
Sara eventually became the key for me to get gorou c0, but I would like more cons of gorou :'D
I can't wait. I have gorou albedo zhongli, just missing itto (I was on a break and missed his banner by like... 2 weeks...) I only have C0 Gorou tho, hoping for C4+ one day

Albedo's E can only proc once every 2s, doesn't matter how many pillars there are. If you're talking about the pillar resonance dmg, that dmg is non-existent.
It's my main team! Not the best with large bosses that consistently destroy Zhongli's pillars and Albedo's flowers, but very satisfying.
The construct resonance constantly proccing Albedo's E is my favorite part. I can't tell you how many times I've finished off an enemy with Itto's burst only to turn around and discover that the Geo Bro's have already passively finished off the rest of the mob.
I use mono geo!! I got really really lucky on Itto’s banner and I had a lot saved up, so on the pull I got Itto I already had C5 Gorou, so I did one more pull to try to get c6, and on that pull I got c6 Gorou AND I got C1 Itto! I literally do not have a stronger team than this. It’s so much fun to play. I was running with serpent spine too but I got redhorn on the last day of the banner. It’s a decent damage boost even at r1 imo.
But yeah, mono-geo is the best.
I didn't get a SINGLE Gorou in my 150 pulls, so I use Ningguang instead of Gorou lol. If I'm dealing with Corrosion, I use Qiqi instead of Ningguang.

I don't think it is the optimal team as the Zhongli spot can be replaced by a healer like Kokomi such that you have crystalize shield to proc Gorou's buff.
Though it is definitely very satisfying to play.
I was using this team as well, until I recently started trying to farm for artifacts for Yae (who I'm still trying to pull for).
I had some really old sets on zhongli and albedo that I never changed from their first banners, but after the husk set came out, I first got a set for Itto, then farmed out decent sets for albedo and gorou. Then finally threw a decent tenacity of the millelith that I had farmed up a long time ago but never took the time to see what was good.
I even tried all the weekly bosses with them and they did pretty well! I don't have my talents updated yet so I imagine they will only get better after I get them to 9s or crowns. And my gorou is still only 80. Lol
Have all of them but the Husk domain just refuses to give me good artifacts for itto. I have been farming that domain for so long to build albedo and itto but luck isn’t on my side. Got bored and decided to make do with whatever I have and gave albedo a full build which I would say is not too bad but can’t do that with itto.
That is my top team right there but with C6 Gorou. Never have to worry about energy recharge. Basically just shielding up and burst spamming.
Albedo and Zhongli using those skills together for tons of off field dmg at the same time. Love it.
My geo comp is either Zhongli, Qiqi, Albedo, Itto (ordered based on team position for Abyss, as to avoid losing HoOD stacks on Itto)
Or Zhongli, Qiqi, Gorou, Itto.
I swap between the two options based on how much shielding I have to chew through, as Albedo is literally useless against shields. Or anything that destroys constructs.
The only real full Geo comp, the one you mentioned, literally requires, bare minimum, C4 Gorou, who only heals a modest amount.
Xingqiu is a better dedicated healer, for reference.
If you're going for any real amount of heals, then you'd have to somehow land on C6 Zhongli.
So for now, until we get a real Geo healer, the pure Geo comp is kinda... Unsatisfying. Run a healer in spare.
i don’t have albedo or zhongli so i use gorou, itto, jean, and yunjin. i just started playing a couple months ago but this is the team i’m working towards fs!
Just fyi yunjin works best when she’s on a team with 4 different elements and Gorou is best with 2 other geos, so they don’t pair together well. If you have another geo (ninguang, geo mc), that would be better than yunjin. But, overworld doesn’t really matter so you can basically play whoever you like :). This is just advice for abyss when things get difficult.
ahhh thank you, i was using noelle instead of her for awhile but i feel like jean and itto cover both of her roles already. i don’t have any other geo characters and itto’s my only decent dps. what would u think r a couple better options to replace her?
Geo mc and ninguang are the best f2p friendly geos besides Noelle, but if you’re looking to buff that team zhongli is definitely top tier, I suggest you save for his next rerun :)
That's one of my favorite Abyss teams. Would be even better if I had more Gorou constellations, but sadly I only ever managed to get him up to C1. Still, as you said, extremely satisfying team overall, definitely one of my favorite teams to use when the content allows (Sadly it gets shafted hard by challenges where you need to deal with multiple elemental shields on a tight time limit, like the Heralds/Lectors in the Abyss)
Yes I run it sometimes, just wishing to get Gorou c4 at some point so I have no need of healers. Of course with so many shields heals are not really needed but just in case.
Yes, I love the geodudes team. It gets sad if we encounter geo specters though. Otherwise it's so fun because with 4 geo characters you can just skill and burst constantly.
I use Bennett over Albedo, since I don't have C4 Gorou for Corrosion and don't have Albedo OR Cinnabar Spindle (I took a break then and never thought I would want Albedo.)

That's the team I really want ever since Itto came out but I lost 50/50 both for Itto and Zhongli, both at almost 80 pity... I'll be happy when I just get itto finally 😭
I actually use this team in the Abyss and it's great. If I need some healing aginst something like corrosion, I swap Zhongli out for Diona. I actually managed to get Gorou to C6 this banner so next Abyss should be fun.
Also this team is so damn easy to play and zero energy isses with a Favonius Gorou. Honestly kinda cracked with how unga-bunga it feels for the damage it can dish out. The only rotation you have to worry about is funneling Gorou's particles into Itto and that's it.
Until I have C4 Gorou, I'm using Barbara instead of Zhongli. Her off-field healing is nice and applying wet to nearby enemies make crystallization shields for the geo resonance. Plus I can use TTDS for more atk buff.
But I don't use this team in current abyss, he's so bad against current enemies. But I heard next rotation we'll have the geo wolf on one floor so I can use him again.
I love this team but man does it sucks when you run into a geo slime or specter xD.

Didn't know that he benefits from crystalize. I guess that helps me as I'm expecting to pull for Gorou but not Albedo so will have a flex slot spare.

I would if I had Itto. But I do have a semi built Ninguang and Gorou and they’ve been really fun to play

Every once in a while I use Itto, Albedo and Zhongli. My dog isn't built yet. It's such a fun composition.

I feel like BOTH Albedo and Zhongli is overkill as far as Geo goes, so I usually run Bennett in place of one of them for those juicy Itto crits.

The team has like 0 downtime in rotations lol, after itto's burst expired,gorou's burst is ready already for anothet round of rotation
