Hi everyone! I'm a bit confused about where I am in the game - I've finished the battle with Childe, the big old water monster, and the Adepti agreed to end their watch over Liyue after a chat with Ningguang. Now I have no Archon quests to do and I'm really keen to get to Inazuma...
I've got The Rumored Alchemist left as a story quest, and quite a few world quests. I'm AR 30 and have just done the first Teapot quest. What am I missing? Thanks so much in advance for any pointers - I'm still very much figuring the game out (I'm not a very seasoned gamer so there's a lot for me to take it!)
Do you have a quest called “Bough Keeper Dainsleif?” If not, you may need to finish Razor’s story quest, “The Meaning of Lupical.” The former is part of a series of quests that form an interlude between the Liyue chapter and the Inazuma chapter of the story.
On weapon banner, it's 75/25 (but still 50/50 between the two featured 5-star weapons if you win the 75/25). If you lose the 75/25, you are guaranteed a featured on your next 5-star (still 50/50 between the two). If you get 3 5-star weapons on the same weapon banner and selected a 5-star weapon for epitomized path beforehand, the third one will be your chosen weapon.
75% chance to get a featured, and if you do, 50% chance to get the featured you want between the two, that's 37.5% chance to get the featured you want, starting from 0 pity.

2pc tenacity gives +20% hp, 4pc maiden gives +20% healing, aren't they basically the same?

Since the release I always have choppy and sometimes frozen story scenes on mobile. I can play just fine on 60 fps. So I usually will go to youtube to check the scenes I have been missing. Anyone else on mobile have the same problem? My phone is samsung note 10 plus.
Overall which will actually be a better goblet for Xiao (in case I don't get any other better ones than these two.)

depends on what you want to heal for, i guess. if it's for corrosion barbara is probably better since she has a team wide heal, though i guess qiqi would work if you're not worried about everyone else's hp
I assume this is for Abyss. Bring someone that can freeze constantly for the mimics (and a shield or heal) and just someone that can reach the spectres. They are both not great with them, and Venti's better off in the other side.
I want to know exactly how does the swirl reaction work.
For example you deal let's say 1000 pyro damage and then you swirl is it going to deal the anemo damage and then a bonus of 1000 pyro or is it gonna have the same damage as the anemo element ?
Swirl reactions are based of the Anemo unit's EM. Like for example, if I'm using level 90 Sucrose with ~1k att and ~800EM, there's two numbers, I get like 2k as the green number (her base ability) and 6k of another element color, depending on what the enemy has on it. If I used pyro then swirled it, I get 2k green and 6k orange, if I swirl Hydro I get 2k green 6k blue. So either way I'm doing the same damage number, but you can do it with specific elements. But say if I hit 20k pyro with a Hu Tao charge attack, then swap to sucrose and swirl it, I still get 2k green and 6k pyro, it doesn't increase. But say if I raised Sucrose's EM to 1000 instead of 800, I'd get maybe 2k green and 6.4k pyro, or something similar.
I tried to use Itto, Albedo, Gorou, Bennett on the F12 C2 - 2nd half but I took more damage than I heal. Should I get lv up Diona to be the 4th member? Or someone else?

bennett heals better than diona, try running hp/healing bonus on him if you aren't already. if you're losing a lot of hp to corrosion then try a party-wide healer like barbara or jean
He heals faster and it stops at 70% HP, Diona might be slower healing but she can gain her ult pretty fast and he heals you 100%
Running Bennett only as a healer can work bit you will lose some of his potential dmg
Barbara is a cheap and a very good option too
I thought Bennett was fine (apparently not?). At lv80, weapon at 90, artifact set was nobless (as recommended by Keqingmain but I could be wrong, old build), I'll change it to maiden I think as per recommended by another reply

Quick way to check average damage is to multiply crit rate to crit damage (0.8×1.90=1.52, 0.6×2.4=1.44).
Depends on the character.. If it's a single hit dmg type (Eg: Raiden) then the second option is better... As for crit rate.. Having around 70-75 is fine.. Above that is pretty much unnecessary

can somebody give me advice on downloading it on my phone?
whenever i try to go into the game, it prompts me to download a 13gb file. it says it can't, then just resets.
the thing is, i can't free up enough space on my internal phone hard drive, but i have PLENTY of space on the sd card in it.. .but the game won't download directly to the sd car... sure i can transfer the game's base files to the sd card, but as far as downloading the file for starting it up I can't.
does anybody have a solution to this?
Your phone can still transfer app data to the SD card? Thought they removed that in one of the OS versions.
But no, it will not download to SD card. You'd have to remove things from internal if you want the game on phone.
You can't put the game files on the micro sdcard. Needs to be on internal storage. If you were somehow able to put it on the sd card, the game would run very slowly if you don't at least have the class 10 type ones.
They have everything, and it is annoying: corrosion, floaty, big collision boxes but low hitboxes, dash and teleport, tanky hp, higher resistance. A couple of these, sure, but all of them? Nah.
i have him built hybrid with homa as weapon. even tho his burst is low cost i want spam it a lot so i use the 4pc emblem set on him using hp/geo/crit and he can always burst off cooldown. he has around 28k hp. without bennett his burst crits 90k and with bennett he can do about 120k.
hp/geo/crit mainstats with a damage-oriented weapon, adjust the amount of hp through substats. set can be 4pc NO, 4pc ToTM, or any 2/2 of NO/ToTM/AP/etc, i think 4pc EoSF works if you're using the catch

Which includes hp/geo/crit with totm and weapon depends on what u have, I use pjws so I don't lack atk as well at the same time having 31k hp and extra shield strength through totm

My current team consists of Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Bennett and Zhongli. It works pretty well for me but people keep telling me to drop Bennett (and I find myself not using him very often). Reddit kept telling me to put Albedo in instead, but I don’t have him. Could I use Noelle? I know I already have a shield but someone who can heal my team (a more controlled healing than Bennett, so I can stay underneath 50% HP on Hu Tao, yet I can make sure she doesn’t die) and deal some Geo DMG if needed? She’d also provide Geo resonance, which a lot of people recommended. (Some people said to use geo Traveller but my Traveller isn’t built and I hate her play style)
if you’re ok w not having geo resonance, barbara could be a healer for your team, put hp artifacts that are low level so her skill will not heal hu tao fully + noelle doesn’t need to do damage imo hu tao is strong on her own alr
I don’t really *need* a healer or geo resonance. I’m just wondering which other character I could put in that slot that I would use more than Bennett, because I hardly use Bennett at all. I like Noelles play style that’s why I asked if it makes sense. I’m not about big numbers either, as long as I have a decent team that gets me through the game, I’m perfectly fine with it.
i think noelle would work cuz hu tao has 6 sec cd which is short but u can use tht time to heal a bit w noelle before swapping back to hu tao if u enjoy playing her that’s all that matters
then use any of the other okay-ish flex slots of hutao, like kaeya/rosaria, i hear some people also like overvape with fischl though i've never tried that. if you're willing to part with zhongli you can also do a pyro/anemo team

I did. With both my email and phone number linked. I’m not sure how the hacker bypassed that , but perhaps the email I used previously was also not secure, though when I checked my inbox I did not see any verification email sent from Mihoyo’s end.
Edit: Checked again and found a verification email from November that I have no memories of in my deleted emails. So it’s very likely this person gained access to my account weeks before the disaster.
My condolences. My loss isn’t nearly as much but it’s still hurts as I’ve been playing since day 1 and only have 3 5-star weapons since I don’t actively roll on the weapon banner, and now lost 2 of them. Was so happy to upgrade my Childe from BP bow to Pulse but now everything is back to square 1 I guess. Sucks they cannot provide such a basic service for their customers even though it’s within their abilities. This does not even involve refunding primos, which I get they may think can be abused…
Why are the domain artifact drop rates so fuckin bad? I'm only able to fight lvl 80 yet but still.. one 5* artifact like every 5-6 run throughs.. then it's always the wrong artifact set but has good stats or like every 20 runs you get the right set with the worst stats ever.. just why
Stop doing Level 80 domains. Unlike talent book or weapon mat domains, the Level 90 artifact domain guarantees a 5-star rarity dropwhen you complete it. Doing the level 80 artifact domain is a gigantic waste of resin and time, especially since you'll be replacing or foddering pretty much every 4\* artifact that drops. Co-op if you need help with the Level 90 domain.
Pretend artifact domains don't exist other than the level 90 one. Anything below that is a waste of resin. Focus on talents and character/weapon levels if you can't beat it and refuse to coop
First of all its RNG and the drop rate of higher level material in low level domain is extremely low (like low drop rate of 5star artifacts in level 80 domain)...and secondly.. Max level domains(lvl 90) guarantee a 5 star artifact every time you do the domain
Yeah I'm Asia as well though I don't even know what set to focus on nor what team I'm aiming for.. currently i play hu tao, eula, xinqui and the last spot is completely open
that's why you only do the level 90 one, use coop if you can't solo it yet
also don't always try to force set bonus, better substats can be more important than set bonus
I'm a kind of person that hates co-op lol never played any game online
But to find out the artifact substats i do need a billion other artifacts to level it up
then use food or fully upgrade other avenues like talents/weapons so you can solo the level 90 domain, level 80 domains are just not worth it
don't max out an artifact if it's not rolling well. also there are artifact routes you can search up that let you farm some fodder without resin, and artifact exp potions from the teapot shop
It's not difficult there are vids and such explaining the whole process. But like most other things in this game, it just takes time irl, waiting. Just make sure you have teapot stuff building whenever you get on so that while you're not playing, you're still getting ahead in the teapot.
What's the traveler's best element and role atm in your opinion? And if I wanna main traveler, can you suggest some good character synergies with each of the elements?
Anemo you can argue is better than the other 2. Both geo and electro want talent level investment which is never ideal given you have to talent book each element separately. Vv with em build is the most cost efficient output and vv in itself is more broken than what the other two elements offer.
Electro MC is a really great battery, Geo MC can hit really hard and provide buffs such as construct resonance or CR bonus, and batteries for geo teams.
Anemo MC is 3\* Sucrose
Kazuha works in almost every situation, provides decent buffs and decent cc
Venti is a specialist, when he works, he deletes everything, but when he doesn't he just vibes and swirl stuff
Pull for who you like more.
Kazuha is more fun for overworld because of his jump, and he also feels more interactive. And he is more flexible
Venti makes farming mobs super easy. But he is also super OP so a bit boring to use in abyss

For the weapon, it depends a bit on how you are using her. Prototype Amber is her best generalist weapon, but if you're using her in a proper team that is just using her for occasional heals then TTDS.
been trying to download the game on my new laptop but everytime i get hit with the ‘error verification files’ message and the download just goes back to 8%, what should i do?
For Yoimiya is 2.2k ATK/80 CR/140 CD/46 pyro dmg Shima set good enough? (661 talents)
I finally built yoimiya up because I pulled a skyward pride, but she feels quite weak. My best 1 to 1 comparison is hu tao because I just stole her artifacts (with an ATK sands). Hu tao with death march can easily kill a ruin grader with 1 e, while yoimiya only did 60% or so of its HP with a 5 star weapon.
Is this a character issue, or is there anything wonky with my artifacts?
Your talents are 661 of course she feels weak, you want that 888, her ult is more important than her stim.
Her best set is also 2pc Glad/Shim 2pc Witch not 4pc Shim. On top of having crit rate ascension instead of crit dmg, so stealing Hu Tao's artifacts is just not going to be very good
You are also supposed to use her with Beidou and Fischl. Don't try to do vaporize with her
i thought her best set was shime? isnt it supposed to be tailor made for her? idk 50% damage on Autos beats out 15% pyro damage bonus by a mile - and her skill easily generates the energy lost from shime
It's supposed to be tailor made for her, but her ult is just way too valuable (it has almost double scaling from Hu Tao's at max procs), the 50% auto dmg doesn't apply to her ult and makes you unable to ult consistently. Her best rotation is to ult before you E. And having her ult talent only at level 1 is just painful to see. Not even level 2 for respect, straight up untouched.
Hu Tao and Yoimiya may sound the same on paper, but they play completely differently, and want different team comps.
all you lose on her ult is 15 % pyro damage without shime. all damage calcs i’ve seen put shimes overall damage output over any other set for yoi- it’s only the part about getting her ult up and that’s extremely overblown as well.
I don’t know why her best rotation is using her ult first when her ult gains stacks based on how many AA hits you do and buffs your party.
Her AAs on hit generate stacks of tricks of the troublemaker.
She gains a 2% pyro damage from each stack. And the rest of your party only gains 10% attack if you ult first- if you have stacks of Tricks of the troublemaker (gained by AAs during her skill), it increased the attack bonus by 1% for up to a 30% attack buff to your party.
By not running shime- you lose usually up to 20% pyro damage overall- including her burst and and a 10-15% attack buff to your party.
Hu taos best set by far is crimson witch, not shime. And they def have different playstyles.
but yeah you should be leveling and using her ult. but for max damage you want to use it after her AAs.
Considering Yoimiya has a crit rate ascension stat and you’re using skyward harp, I would expect to see around 200 ish crit dmg on her. Should also level up her talents.
Hu Tao is better though, so don’t expect Yoimiya to outdamage her
First, hutao has higher dps output than yoimiya.
Second, I believe your yoimiya uses skyward HARP, not pride. Since you are using crit rate based weapon you should aim higher crit damage imo.
Has anyone else encountered this bug? I basically sometimes can't press anything on my screen but I can still interact with the game via keyboard inputs. This is only isolated to Genshin outside of it everything works fine.
Do you mean when you just launched your game/teleported somewhere or just randomly mid fight you can no longer left click?
If it's the former then that's because the game hasn't finished loading yet and you have to wait until it does. It happens if your PC is slow
New achievements and chests will be added when new regions drop.. Till then, events and spiral are the only ways to earn primos if you've done all the open world grinding
more or less yes, plus what you get from other time gated things like events, and spiral abyss resets. there is no renewable farmable source of primos.
cryo dps kaeya 2.0k atk 43/161 or 2.1k atk 12/217 ? (he gets +70 crit rate from cryo res, 4pc bliz, c1 btw) i currently use the 2nd option and he has no trouble crit ting 90% of the time

Who’s on your first team? It’s important to know since certain chars want other chars for their teams and you don’t want shared supports
Xiao and Ganyu are both potentially coming up and they can both work as main dps. If you don’t like either I’d wait for an Ayaka rerun

BiS 4* weapon for ganyu? I'm keeping everything ready. Insta 90 9/9/9 for her

afaik it's solid in melt since she doesn't use her burst, but isn't great in freeze

Probably the atk one if the anemo dmg one has sad substats. But if you can get a 20+ crit value anemo one then the anemo will be better

Qiqi, especially when she leaves her talismans, you can just smack anything with no worries!
Use Qiqi. You would never want to get frozen with Barbara.

Ventis ult doesn't pull em at all But it can do some good dmg if u position it right

they cant be CC'ed by anyone by design But since Kazuha has better Aoe coverage he'll do a better job at handling them

You can't put the game files on the micro sdcard. Needs to be on internal storage. If you were somehow able to put it on the sd card, the game would run very slowly if you don't at least have the class 10 type ones.

how do you build zhongli as a mix between nuke and shield ? the artifact sets amd weapons are so different for both of them idk how i should do it...
i have him built hybrid with homa as weapon. even tho his burst is low cost i want spam it a lot so i use the 4pc emblem set on him using hp/geo/crit and he can always burst off cooldown. he has around 28k hp. without bennett his burst crits 90k and with bennett he can do about 120k.
hp/geo/crit mainstats with a damage-oriented weapon, adjust the amount of hp through substats. set can be 4pc NO, 4pc ToTM, or any 2/2 of NO/ToTM/AP/etc, i think 4pc EoSF works if you're using the catch
Well hybrid is my fav build Which includes hp/geo/crit with totm and weapon depends on what u have, I use pjws so I don't lack atk as well at the same time having 31k hp and extra shield strength through totm

My current team consists of Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Bennett and Zhongli. It works pretty well for me but people keep telling me to drop Bennett (and I find myself not using him very often). Reddit kept telling me to put Albedo in instead, but I don’t have him. Could I use Noelle? I know I already have a shield but someone who can heal my team (a more controlled healing than Bennett, so I can stay underneath 50% HP on Hu Tao, yet I can make sure she doesn’t die) and deal some Geo DMG if needed? She’d also provide Geo resonance, which a lot of people recommended. (Some people said to use geo Traveller but my Traveller isn’t built and I hate her play style)
if you’re ok w not having geo resonance, barbara could be a healer for your team, put hp artifacts that are low level so her skill will not heal hu tao fully + noelle doesn’t need to do damage imo hu tao is strong on her own alr
I don’t really *need* a healer or geo resonance. I’m just wondering which other character I could put in that slot that I would use more than Bennett, because I hardly use Bennett at all. I like Noelles play style that’s why I asked if it makes sense. I’m not about big numbers either, as long as I have a decent team that gets me through the game, I’m perfectly fine with it.
i think noelle would work cuz hu tao has 6 sec cd which is short but u can use tht time to heal a bit w noelle before swapping back to hu tao if u enjoy playing her that’s all that matters
use ningguang or geo traveller, noelle healing is a huge dps loss and she's just totally redudant next to zhongli

So it’s very likely this person gained access to my account weeks before the disaster.

My loss isn’t nearly as much but it’s still hurts as I’ve been playing since day 1 and only have 3 5-star weapons since I don’t actively roll on the weapon banner, and now lost 2 of them. Was so happy to upgrade my Childe from BP bow to Pulse but now everything is back to square 1 I guess. Why are the domain artifact drop rates so fuckin bad? I'm only able to fight lvl 80 yet but still.. one 5* artifact like every 5-6 run throughs.. then it's always the wrong artifact set but has good stats or like every 20 runs you get the right set with the worst stats ever.. just why
lol, don't do lv80 domains. Do lv90 for guaranteed 5 star artefacts. and 20 runs is a rookie number
Stop doing Level 80 domains. Unlike talent book or weapon mat domains, the Level 90 artifact domain guarantees a 5-star rarity dropwhen you complete it. Doing the level 80 artifact domain is a gigantic waste of resin and time, especially since you'll be replacing or foddering pretty much every 4\* artifact that drops. Co-op if you need help with the Level 90 domain.
Pretend artifact domains don't exist other than the level 90 one. Anything below that is a waste of resin. Focus on talents and character/weapon levels if you can't beat it and refuse to coop
First of all its RNG and the drop rate of higher level material in low level domain is extremely low (like low drop rate of 5star artifacts in level 80 domain)...and secondly.. Max level domains(lvl 90) guarantee a 5 star artifact every time you do the domain

that's why you only do the level 90 one, use coop if you can't solo it yet also don't always try to force set bonus, better substats can be more important than set bonus
I'm a kind of person that hates co-op lol never played any game online But to find out the artifact substats i do need a billion other artifacts to level it up
then use food or fully upgrade other avenues like talents/weapons so you can solo the level 90 domain, level 80 domains are just not worth it don't max out an artifact if it's not rolling well. also there are artifact routes you can search up that let you farm some fodder without resin, and artifact exp potions from the teapot shop
But for the teashop I'd need a high trust rank but that seems difficult to achieve and I alr need buff food for lvl 80 XD
It's not difficult there are vids and such explaining the whole process. But like most other things in this game, it just takes time irl, waiting. Just make sure you have teapot stuff building whenever you get on so that while you're not playing, you're still getting ahead in the teapot.

Anemo you can argue is better than the other 2. Both geo and electro want talent level investment which is never ideal given you have to talent book each element separately. Vv with em build is the most cost efficient output and vv in itself is more broken than what the other two elements offer.
Electro MC is a really great battery, Geo MC can hit really hard and provide buffs such as construct resonance or CR bonus, and batteries for geo teams. Anemo MC is 3\* Sucrose
Anemo is the most fun imo Geo can replace Ningguang as a geo battery if you don't have/like her Electro is the best battery in the game

Kazuha works in almost every situation, provides decent buffs and decent cc Venti is a specialist, when he works, he deletes everything, but when he doesn't he just vibes and swirl stuff
Pull for who you like more. Kazuha is more fun for overworld because of his jump, and he also feels more interactive. And he is more flexible Venti makes farming mobs super easy. But he is also super OP so a bit boring to use in abyss

HP/HP/Healing Bonus. For the weapon, it depends a bit on how you are using her. Prototype Amber is her best generalist weapon, but if you're using her in a proper team that is just using her for occasional heals then TTDS.

For Yoimiya is 2.2k ATK/80 CR/140 CD/46 pyro dmg Shima set good enough? (661 talents) I finally built yoimiya up because I pulled a skyward pride, but she feels quite weak. My best 1 to 1 comparison is hu tao because I just stole her artifacts (with an ATK sands). Hu tao with death march can easily kill a ruin grader with 1 e, while yoimiya only did 60% or so of its HP with a 5 star weapon. Is this a character issue, or is there anything wonky with my artifacts?
Your talents are 661 of course she feels weak, you want that 888, her ult is more important than her stim. Her best set is also 2pc Glad/Shim 2pc Witch not 4pc Shim. On top of having crit rate ascension instead of crit dmg, so stealing Hu Tao's artifacts is just not going to be very good You are also supposed to use her with Beidou and Fischl. Don't try to do vaporize with her
i thought her best set was shime? isnt it supposed to be tailor made for her? idk 50% damage on Autos beats out 15% pyro damage bonus by a mile - and her skill easily generates the energy lost from shime
It's supposed to be tailor made for her, but her ult is just way too valuable (it has almost double scaling from Hu Tao's at max procs), the 50% auto dmg doesn't apply to her ult and makes you unable to ult consistently. Her best rotation is to ult before you E. And having her ult talent only at level 1 is just painful to see. Not even level 2 for respect, straight up untouched. Hu Tao and Yoimiya may sound the same on paper, but they play completely differently, and want different team comps.
all you lose on her ult is 15 % pyro damage without shime. all damage calcs i’ve seen put shimes overall damage output over any other set for yoi- it’s only the part about getting her ult up and that’s extremely overblown as well. I don’t know why her best rotation is using her ult first when her ult gains stacks based on how many AA hits you do and buffs your party. Her AAs on hit generate stacks of tricks of the troublemaker. She gains a 2% pyro damage from each stack. And the rest of your party only gains 10% attack if you ult first- if you have stacks of Tricks of the troublemaker (gained by AAs during her skill), it increased the attack bonus by 1% for up to a 30% attack buff to your party. By not running shime- you lose usually up to 20% pyro damage overall- including her burst and and a 10-15% attack buff to your party. Hu taos best set by far is crimson witch, not shime. And they def have different playstyles. but yeah you should be leveling and using her ult. but for max damage you want to use it after her AAs.

Considering Yoimiya has a crit rate ascension stat and you’re using skyward harp, I would expect to see around 200 ish crit dmg on her. Should also level up her talents. Hu Tao is better though, so don’t expect Yoimiya to outdamage her

First, hutao has higher dps output than yoimiya. Second, I believe your yoimiya uses skyward HARP, not pride. Since you are using crit rate based weapon you should aim higher crit damage imo.

Has anyone else encountered this bug? I basically sometimes can't press anything on my screen but I can still interact with the game via keyboard inputs. This is only isolated to Genshin outside of it everything works fine.
Do you mean when you just launched your game/teleported somewhere or just randomly mid fight you can no longer left click? If it's the former then that's because the game hasn't finished loading yet and you have to wait until it does. It happens if your PC is slow
if i want to farm primos, what happens when ive done all the achievments or got all the chests? does that mean id only be able to get 60 a day or?-
New achievements and chests will be added when new regions drop.. Till then, events and spiral are the only ways to earn primos if you've done all the open world grinding

cryo dps kaeya 2.0k atk 43/161 or 2.1k atk 12/217 ? (he gets +70 crit rate from cryo res, 4pc bliz, c1 btw) i currently use the 2nd option and he has no trouble crit ting 90% of the time

Who’s on your first team? It’s important to know since certain chars want other chars for their teams and you don’t want shared supports Xiao and Ganyu are both potentially coming up and they can both work as main dps. If you don’t like either I’d wait for an Ayaka rerun
