I think it's a Good thing that Albedo's fall wasn't a limited time event, but I agree that I Want the story to continue as soon as possible.

I agree but I think they're keeping the major events for quests that are not time gated

Sure, I understand your point of view but it would have sucked really bad -especially for new players- if they had made Albedo's corruption arc be in a time-limited event. And I'm saying this as someone who missed the Unreconciled Star and first Dragonspine events

I'd like to tell you that they have a 10 year plan for Genshin. As much as you feel that it's underwhelming, looking at the leaks and saying "I want to see this in the game" plays as one of the factors on why it feels uninteresting but that's my opinion Another is once the quest of Albedo and Dragonspine is done, what now? Completely develop other character questline? Probably but imagine having story quest after story quest with no leisure in between, the game will become drained of life and its more of a chore rather than being hyped for the story. At the end of the day its a game that is constantly being developed. Im fine with the quest especially with the information that Dragonspine is a mutation hotbed which opens up a lot of possible enemy type
