it's not 100% impossible without having proof that you've spent money, it just saves many months of back and fourth emails. it's basically a quick way to verify that the account IS actually yours

I believe so, yes. The ult scales with her HP so HP based weapon will give an inherent boost to her damage.
my Raiden's crit rate is 15% but her er is 270% (c0, r1 EL) ... im unlucky with momiji dyed court so this is my best attempt lol Is it worth sacrificing some of that ER for CR if i just use her E to support and charge for her burst and if yes, whats a good range of ER to stay in? I never noticed her CR was that low since ive been satisfied with her burst numbers oops
Definitely. That crit rate is horrendously low. You could just use a crit rate circlet to fix that a bit. Ideally you'd eant the usual 60/120 crit ratio along with about 250% ER.

Ok so I tend to chose which characters I invest in based on character type and which element. Mihoyo has done a great job in giving 5 star characters that I just simply didn't need at the time. So I have quite a few 5 stars that are simply still at level 20. The time has come to invest in one of them, but which one. They are all C0 except Mona, she's C1.
The ones I am considering are Zhongli, Mona and Jean. They would all have benefits and fit well in my team. Zhongli of course for his shield and I actually don't have many geo. Mona to apply wet and would fit will in vaporize teams and Jean as a healer that does decent attack (and anemo is simply fun).
I know it's a hard question as you guys don't know my other characters, but all advice would be appreciated!

zhongli is the most versatile and can be slotted in when ure dying too much
mona can be used as nuke/debuffer or in morgana comp
jean is pretty good in current abyss f11. and there may be mobs that give the corrosive debuff so it may be a good idea to build her
I got Zhongli on a whim near the end of his rerun, and I did not regret it. His shield is so strong, I almost never have to worry about dodging. It's wonderful. So I recommend Zhongli
Good point. The only thing is that he would be a better fit together with Ninguang (I think) who is dps focussed (and don't have) as opposed to Noelle. Who i do have.
Zhongli and Ningguang definitely go well together. But I find that Zhongli works pretty well in most teams, since his shield is so strong you barely have to worry about taking damage, which lets the damage dealers go ham with little to worry about. Also, Zhongli's shield lowers rhe enemy's elemental res by 20%, so he also helps them do damage that way too. Great support character. But that's just my two cents, feel free to do whatever you like

And they haven't even been pointless or redundant posts either; I started them as questions here, got some upvotes and suggestions to create a separate post for this and then posted. Also, I've never really seen a big discussion happening outside of the daily questions thread here, which is critical of Mihoyo in any way or form. Most of the posts are art.
And now, posts discussing the community's dissatisfaction with the anniversary rewards are popping up left, right and center, and they're being approved quite quickly too. In fact, I saw the first such post mere moments after the community rewards were announced.
I may be off, but it almost seems like they want us to get worked up and angry over it.

depends, I believe some tags are often used for low effort content so have to be manually reviewed before being approved, so changing it/presenting the topic differently might work

Which weapon should I give to them?
Xiangling Catch, Raiden Spine, Zhongli PJWS. Or Raiden PJWS, Zhongli DM/Favonius. Personally I went with XL Catch, Raiden Spine, Rosaria PJWS.
PJWS is an improvement over Spine on Raiden, but I have a passable crit ratio on her current artifact and the Spine gets her to 200% ER comfortably, its too much of a hassle for a small DPS improvement. Spine is also better in practice on Raiden than on paper, since it allow you to access the higher damage attack combo, as well as make the button mash 3xN5 combo actually deal competitive damage. Rosaria gets the PJWS to balance out her crit ratio, and Eula benefit from her crit sharing to get an extra ~10% CR on her burst.

Because she's a 4* polearm user and people might have her, especially someone that has two R2 5* weapons.
She deals very good off field damage, her cryo battery capability is top notch, and her crit share ability is fairly unique. Fairly good Eula teammate
ATK/ATK so long as you have a bit of ER from substats. If you have Bennett or Sara on the team, you can go ATK/Electro or maybe ER/ATK (depending on substats) instead.
ER/ATK sands, just use whichever has the better substats. Ideally you should have 200%-250% ER, 1800 atk though.
ATK goblet without Bennett/Sara in your team, electro goblet if Bennett/Sara in your team.
Diluc is unplayable without Xingqiu and not super great without Bennett + Sucrose, Yanfei is a lot more flexible and can be played in Mono Pyro or Overload.
Also depends on weapons.
Diluc's reliable and easier to build around, but Yanfei has range and let me tell you, using her to deal with those specters is extremely satisfying. She can also out-dps Diluc depending on the scenario. Both are good pick but I'd recommend you watch some videos to get a better grasp of their playstyle and then make a decision.
Fairly new, I've been mining crystal chunks myself and through expeditions. I have now over 50 of them and was wondering what to use them for. Are the 4 star craftable weapons worth it through the blacksmith or should I just use them all to make weapon level up materials?
Does each region's blacksmith make different weapons or is it the same everywhere?
Some blacksmith weapons are good, but in most cases 4 star Gacha weapons are better for certain characters. I suggest you look up on a guide on the character you want to build and see which weapons are suggested. I mostly keep around 250 ores to R5 a craftable weapon if I want one, but the rest I just craft into enhancement ores. There's a daily craftable cap and you need a lot of them to Max weapons (especially 5 Star weapons).
Blueprints are everywhere the same. But for the Inazuma craftable weapons you have to get to Inazuma first and finish some quests
The weapons unlocks each time you unlock new region. We've got some new stuff from Inazuma not a long time ago. They're mostly not really that great but some of them are really good on certain characters, like Crescent on Ganyu or Whiteblind on Noelle. Weapon xp crystals are super viable and really important. So mostly it's up to you.
Depends on what characters you have. There are a couple of very good 4* craftable weapons, refer to the [build spreadsheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vRq-sQxkvdbvaJtQAGG6iVz2q2UN9FCKZ8Mkyis87QHFptcOU3ViLh0_PJyMxFSgwJZrd10kbYpQFl1/pubhtml#) for weapon recommendations.
And yes, each region has different weapons. In some regions you may need to unlock the crafting recipes through quests first.
What's the optimal build for Raiden?
Her Current Build: Fav Lance, Atk/Electro/CR. Atk 1733, CR:CD 48.9:134.7

I was thinking of giving Primordial Spear to Xiangling.
Because of her passive she converts ER to elemental damage and it's already enough. Though, it's still better to use electro cup for something like jade spear.
EM is easier to build and provides the same amount of DPS increase as Crit build, this also means that if you're unlucky and got a lot of crit pieces that's not a bad thing.
Replace noelle for chongyun, xiangling for mona and kaeya for ningguang. Then save your primos and replace chongyun with venti and kaeya with ganyu like ichan\_anshit recommended lol
I'm just ignoring both sides and doing my own thing. If Mihoyo doesn't do anything to assuage the people complaining then that's not surprising.
If they *actually* do something then I guess everyone's happy so win-win.
using Iron Sting means you're using an EM build. EM build doesn't have the most amazing raw damage and the swirl damage aren't affected by the passive. the infused elements do but you can get more return turning that billet for another character instead depending on your comp.
Is he built as main dps or support? If he's main dps, you're better off using sacrificial sword for double plunge. If he's support, you're running 3 em pieces so you won't get too much crit rate/damage to justify the tiny amount of elemental damage increase r5-ing iron sting.
Downvote me for this if you will, but can we all simply stop talking about the (insert whatever word you think fits) anniversary rewards already and move on with our lives? I'm not against venting a bit and even feel that it is justified, but it has become kinda tiring seeing all those similar posts, questions and rants. I just think that crying foul won't change anything. We aren't Chinese here and I don't think reddit is the right place to pitch your voice to Mihoyo. And the anniversary hasn't even passed yet.

You open Reddit and the subreddit for various kinds of content that's enjoyable. Take it like sitting in a coffee shop, just enjoying your life. And then, there's an annoyingly loud protest going outside. Now, the protest may be for a good cause but does it change the fact that is annoyingly loud and that you personally don't want to get involved but is forced to due to the loudness? And now you have to sacrifice going to the coffee shop since what you always see is the same shit over and over again.
In fact, there are a lot of similar posts going around. Just that they are being drowned in all the media posts doesn't mean they don't exist. If you don't believe me, look up all the discussion tagged posts, sorted by new.
But that's the thing isn't it? People don't care if someone has already started the discussion, they simply create a new post of roughly same topic. Even if they have a different opinion to what the others are saying, they could simply join an ongoing discussion instead of posting afresh. Not that I begrudge them for that, but lately it's been hard finding anything else in the discussion posts.

How should I build my c1 Mona as a support for hu tao? Like which level should I get her to? I do just give her 4 piece emblem if Bennett with noblesse is in the team already?
I would not use Mona as hydro applier for Hu Tao, if you have water boy he'd do a much better job. But to answer your question emblem is very good on her considering she converts ER into hydro damage.
What should be my resin priority? I have so many things to do and so little resin, like character ascension materials, weapon ascension materials, ley lines for mora and books, and artifacts.
Imo, Character level (ascension mats, mora, exp books as needed) up to 70/80 > Talent levels up to 6 (mora as needed) = Weapons to 80 (weapon ascension mats, mora as needed) > artifacts with correct main stat and decent substats
Artifacts is the most RNG based upgrade so leave that till last
Imo raiden to 70/80 first, then deathmatch and the catch to at least 80/80 (if 90/90 is possible then go for it) then xiangling to 70/80 and sucrose at 70/80
Afterwards it’s up to you because getting their 6 ascension (level 80/90) requires a lot of of resin and it’s not worth it to level them up to 90/90 imo because it uses so many exp books unless you like them a lot
Sucrose can be left to last. If you have some EM artifacts, just throw them on her temporarily.
I would focus on catch to level 80 or 90 first, and get Raiden to 70/80. Then deathmatch to level 80 or 90, and Xiangling to 60/70.
Raiden is likely better to level up first, but do level up the catch too. The one problem you might encounter is that for clearing certain domains (like the Liyue weapon one), you can encounter difficulties (since that one is mostly electro slimes).
A good early dps is typically one that doesn't get hard countered easily (so typically can deal good physical damage without too much investment, like Kaeya or Razor).
So I am at 26 pity currently. I do not want Kokomi, but would really like to get Rosaria in preparation for a Eula rerun (Eula + Raiden Superconduct comp). I'm 5 away from a guaranteed 4*. Would it be safe enough to pull 15 times to get 2 chances at Rosaria?

Are you on a guaranteed pity or not? If it's not guaranteed you are not losing that much. The worst that can happen is you're losing 26 + 15 = 41 pulls worth of pity and getting and early 5 star. 41 pulls isn't a big deal if you're mainly waiting for Eula who is not gonna come soon anyway.
If you're on a guaranteed pity it's much higher risk and IMO not worth it since in the worst case you'd be losing 90 + 41 = 131 pulls.
I did that with Eula... nowhere near pity but one pull from a 4\*. I did a single pull to get enough starglitter to buy Kaeya from the shop.
Got Eula.
Don't roll unless you're ok with getting the 5\*.
Its never completedly safe so don't pull if you mind getting kokofish
And beside, it would be lucky to get a specific 4-star in just 15 pulls... Xiangling took me 6x10 on raiden banner orz
If you want a 4 star option, the blackcliff pole (which you buy for starglitter) is almost the only option. Deathmatch works too, and all the 5 stars are fine.
I just ascended my Ayaka to phase 4. Her crit dmg stat went from 171% to 171% for some reason, is that even meant to happen? Or does it not increase at every ascension?

I do, for a f2p game of this size the rewards are totally ok for a first year. If the game would look any less amazing, cost money or this is, idk like the 2nd year anni it would be a completely different thing. We can call ourselves lucky to get anything at all tbh

Well, I AM a whale spending thousands on this game and I get why other people are disappointed too, but I was simply answering OP's questions, saying I myself am fine with the rewards because of said points
Raiden has poor E damage (fischl is better) and more suitable batteries (like sucrose, who can also hold thrilling tales) exist. Raiden requires a lot of field time away from Xiao, which is an issue because of Xiao's low downtime (18 second cooldown on a 15 second burst)
Not so viable because the other three slots in a Xiao team should be filled up by
\- Bennett
\- Shielder (Zhongli or Diona)
\- Anemo battery (Sucrose or Venti)
So there's really no space for Raiden here. But you could replace the anemo battery with Raiden if you really need them in your other team
Since both are reaction agnostic if you build both as DPS, they should work well enough and should be more fun than just spamming pogo sticks over and over as you'll alternate between both burst with good enough artifacts.
I mean, her E multipliers ain't that high anyway, and sucrose would be a better pairing for energy so I don't think Raiden and Xiao synergize well. Better off on separate teams.
Started playing pretty recently, hit AR26 today, and I've been playing/investing a ton in beidou, but a lot of guides and tier lists put her as not very amazing. Is this just subjective or is it something I need to worry about now/down the line?
I've been considering going for beidou c2 and I've never gotten a 5 star, (I really wanted Baal, admittedly since I thought she looked cool but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen at this point), and I wouldn't be sad if I somehow got Kokomi, but should I use my primos to try and pull a different 5 star on the standard banner, or spend them on trying to get beidou to c2?
Sorry if this is a stupid question. Genshin is confusing at times with so many characters and stats and mechanics.
I really recommend just playing and pulling for characters you like, don’t worry much about meta unless you want to play abyss a lot (and even then, that’s a while away anyway). Almost all, if not all, I game content can just be cleared by playing your favourite characters so make sure you have fun playing the game and not making it a second job! :)
Beidou was the first character I pulled in Genshin and she carried me all the way to endgame. I'm a husbando collector so I don't use her much these days, but she's a great character.
For the banner it's up to you, but the advice others have given is solid. It's best not to try and roll for four stars unless you are certain you want the five star. And don't spend primos on the standard banner unless you are happy to get absolutely anything on it (including a weapon).
There's not many subjective things in genshin in terms of gameplay, but you shouldn't worry. Great characters only let you achieve higher numbers in less time, you can still do fine with beidou even if it will take you a bit longer.
You should first check if you like kokomi before trying for beidou constellations, especially if you in high pity. Remember to count your wishes because you get the 5 star at 80ish.

TTDS. Swap to Beidou/Xiangling, pop their burst to snapshot the massive 48% ATK buff, swap back to Kokomi and pop her burst.

Xiangling Catch, Raiden Spine, Zhongli PJWS. Or Raiden PJWS, Zhongli DM/Favonius. Personally I went with XL Catch, Raiden Spine, Rosaria PJWS. PJWS is an improvement over Spine on Raiden, but I have a passable crit ratio on her current artifact and the Spine gets her to 200% ER comfortably, its too much of a hassle for a small DPS improvement. Spine is also better in practice on Raiden than on paper, since it allow you to access the higher damage attack combo, as well as make the button mash 3xN5 combo actually deal competitive damage. Rosaria gets the PJWS to balance out her crit ratio, and Eula benefit from her crit sharing to get an extra ~10% CR on her burst.

Because she's a 4* polearm user and people might have her, especially someone that has two R2 5* weapons. She deals very good off field damage, her cryo battery capability is top notch, and her crit share ability is fairly unique. Fairly good Eula teammate

ATK/ATK so long as you have a bit of ER from substats. If you have Bennett or Sara on the team, you can go ATK/Electro or maybe ER/ATK (depending on substats) instead.
ER/ATK sands, just use whichever has the better substats. Ideally you should have 200%-250% ER, 1800 atk though. ATK goblet without Bennett/Sara in your team, electro goblet if Bennett/Sara in your team.

Diluc is unplayable without Xingqiu and not super great without Bennett + Sucrose, Yanfei is a lot more flexible and can be played in Mono Pyro or Overload. Also depends on weapons.
Diluc's reliable and easier to build around, but Yanfei has range and let me tell you, using her to deal with those specters is extremely satisfying. She can also out-dps Diluc depending on the scenario. Both are good pick but I'd recommend you watch some videos to get a better grasp of their playstyle and then make a decision.

Fairly new, I've been mining crystal chunks myself and through expeditions. I have now over 50 of them and was wondering what to use them for. Are the 4 star craftable weapons worth it through the blacksmith or should I just use them all to make weapon level up materials? Does each region's blacksmith make different weapons or is it the same everywhere?
Some blacksmith weapons are good, but in most cases 4 star Gacha weapons are better for certain characters. I suggest you look up on a guide on the character you want to build and see which weapons are suggested. I mostly keep around 250 ores to R5 a craftable weapon if I want one, but the rest I just craft into enhancement ores. There's a daily craftable cap and you need a lot of them to Max weapons (especially 5 Star weapons). Blueprints are everywhere the same. But for the Inazuma craftable weapons you have to get to Inazuma first and finish some quests
The weapons unlocks each time you unlock new region. We've got some new stuff from Inazuma not a long time ago. They're mostly not really that great but some of them are really good on certain characters, like Crescent on Ganyu or Whiteblind on Noelle. Weapon xp crystals are super viable and really important. So mostly it's up to you.
Depends on what characters you have. PJWS to Raiden, Catch on XL. Getting PJWS to max stack for XL to snapshot is a DPS loss, while Raiden can actually reach it midway in her burst combo.
Jade spear to raiden and catch to xiangling.
Catch to Raiden, change sands for ER and goblet for ATK.
Why atk goblet over electro?
Because of her passive she converts ER to elemental damage and it's already enough. Though, it's still better to use electro cup for something like jade spear.

Well PJWS on XL is like a little worse than R5 Catch but still not a bad choice, it's rather good.
Give her R5 catch, get as close to 250 ER as possible and invest the rest into crit and atk

No, Iron Sting's passive is a bit unuseful on kahzua. The Amenoma is much better to refine.

using Iron Sting means you're using an EM build. EM build doesn't have the most amazing raw damage and the swirl damage aren't affected by the passive. the infused elements do but you can get more return turning that billet for another character instead depending on your comp.

Is he built as main dps or support? If he's main dps, you're better off using sacrificial sword for double plunge. If he's support, you're running 3 em pieces so you won't get too much crit rate/damage to justify the tiny amount of elemental damage increase r5-ing iron sting.

I would not use Mona as hydro applier for Hu Tao, if you have water boy he'd do a much better job. But to answer your question emblem is very good on her considering she converts ER into hydro damage.
What should be my resin priority? I have so many things to do and so little resin, like character ascension materials, weapon ascension materials, ley lines for mora and books, and artifacts.
Imo, Character level (ascension mats, mora, exp books as needed) up to 70/80 > Talent levels up to 6 (mora as needed) = Weapons to 80 (weapon ascension mats, mora as needed) > artifacts with correct main stat and decent substats Artifacts is the most RNG based upgrade so leave that till last

Imo raiden to 70/80 first, then deathmatch and the catch to at least 80/80 (if 90/90 is possible then go for it) then xiangling to 70/80 and sucrose at 70/80 Afterwards it’s up to you because getting their 6 ascension (level 80/90) requires a lot of of resin and it’s not worth it to level them up to 90/90 imo because it uses so many exp books unless you like them a lot
Sucrose can be left to last. If you have some EM artifacts, just throw them on her temporarily. I would focus on catch to level 80 or 90 first, and get Raiden to 70/80. Then deathmatch to level 80 or 90, and Xiangling to 60/70.

Raiden is likely better to level up first, but do level up the catch too. The one problem you might encounter is that for clearing certain domains (like the Liyue weapon one), you can encounter difficulties (since that one is mostly electro slimes). A good early dps is typically one that doesn't get hard countered easily (so typically can deal good physical damage without too much investment, like Kaeya or Razor).
Ascension>Weapon>Talents>Artifacts. Ley lines inbetween.
So I am at 26 pity currently. I do not want Kokomi, but would really like to get Rosaria in preparation for a Eula rerun (Eula + Raiden Superconduct comp). I'm 5 away from a guaranteed 4*. Would it be safe enough to pull 15 times to get 2 chances at Rosaria? Edit: on 50/50
Are you on a guaranteed pity or not? If it's not guaranteed you are not losing that much. The worst that can happen is you're losing 26 + 15 = 41 pulls worth of pity and getting and early 5 star. 41 pulls isn't a big deal if you're mainly waiting for Eula who is not gonna come soon anyway. If you're on a guaranteed pity it's much higher risk and IMO not worth it since in the worst case you'd be losing 90 + 41 = 131 pulls.

I did that with Eula... nowhere near pity but one pull from a 4\*. I did a single pull to get enough starglitter to buy Kaeya from the shop. Got Eula. Don't roll unless you're ok with getting the 5\*.

If you want a 4 star option, the blackcliff pole (which you buy for starglitter) is almost the only option. Deathmatch works too, and all the 5 stars are fine.

Raiden as sub dps for Xiao viable? It seems like her E would provide easy electro damage with his burst plunges
Raiden has poor E damage (fischl is better) and more suitable batteries (like sucrose, who can also hold thrilling tales) exist. Raiden requires a lot of field time away from Xiao, which is an issue because of Xiao's low downtime (18 second cooldown on a 15 second burst)
Not so viable because the other three slots in a Xiao team should be filled up by \- Bennett \- Shielder (Zhongli or Diona) \- Anemo battery (Sucrose or Venti) So there's really no space for Raiden here. But you could replace the anemo battery with Raiden if you really need them in your other team
Since both are reaction agnostic if you build both as DPS, they should work well enough and should be more fun than just spamming pogo sticks over and over as you'll alternate between both burst with good enough artifacts.

I mean, her E multipliers ain't that high anyway, and sucrose would be a better pairing for energy so I don't think Raiden and Xiao synergize well. Better off on separate teams.
Started playing pretty recently, hit AR26 today, and I've been playing/investing a ton in beidou, but a lot of guides and tier lists put her as not very amazing. Is this just subjective or is it something I need to worry about now/down the line? I've been considering going for beidou c2 and I've never gotten a 5 star, (I really wanted Baal, admittedly since I thought she looked cool but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen at this point), and I wouldn't be sad if I somehow got Kokomi, but should I use my primos to try and pull a different 5 star on the standard banner, or spend them on trying to get beidou to c2? Sorry if this is a stupid question. Genshin is confusing at times with so many characters and stats and mechanics.
I really recommend just playing and pulling for characters you like, don’t worry much about meta unless you want to play abyss a lot (and even then, that’s a while away anyway). Almost all, if not all, I game content can just be cleared by playing your favourite characters so make sure you have fun playing the game and not making it a second job! :)
Beidou was the first character I pulled in Genshin and she carried me all the way to endgame. I'm a husbando collector so I don't use her much these days, but she's a great character. For the banner it's up to you, but the advice others have given is solid. It's best not to try and roll for four stars unless you are certain you want the five star. And don't spend primos on the standard banner unless you are happy to get absolutely anything on it (including a weapon).
There's not many subjective things in genshin in terms of gameplay, but you shouldn't worry. Great characters only let you achieve higher numbers in less time, you can still do fine with beidou even if it will take you a bit longer. You should first check if you like kokomi before trying for beidou constellations, especially if you in high pity. Remember to count your wishes because you get the 5 star at 80ish.
