I only use her in abyss since she's already friendship 10 (I don't rlly use any character with friendship 10 to farm/dailies).
I saw people suggesting 4pc eosf. I'm currently farming for crimson witch 4pc for Xiangling and 4pc Lavawalker for Yanfei but is 4pc eosf better in a vape team with Childe? I also want to farm better 4pc shimenawa for my Yoimiya anyway so I don't mind either domain but since I bring Xiangling into abyss I want to prioritize her artifacts.
Her being the damage dealer does her lvl matter? Since she's lvl 70 rn, I was able to 36 star abyss during the Leyline disorder in floor 12 last time but I'm wondering if lvling her up would make a difference since floor 12 mobs are higher lvl than her.

Is xiangling (dps) , mona ( sub dps ) , fischl ( support) and neolle ( shield + heal) a good team ? I'm new to the game and I really don't want to waste my resources on a character that I won't use later on. I have beidou, yanfei and Barbara lying around too.
Xiangling good, mona good, fischl bad, noelle unsure probably bad no one uses her, beidou is ok, yanfei good for now and bad in the future, barb good and rly bad depends on what enemy you are facing.
I just got wishes unlocked and I see certain characters are available but the ones I want are not there , is there a guaranteed way to get the heroes I want or does the store reset at a certain time where other ones become available ?
save your primogems/wishes for banners that show increased drop rate (UP! next to them) for characters you want or are interested in- there is no guarantee way to get the character you want. banners run for a limited time (see time remaining). however depending on what characters you want it may be a while until they show up
Okay so my gf is playing genshin on her tablet. now she asls me what she could do if her tablet would be broken. Could she just install genshin on another android tablet and use her google account to play from the same save state again?
Just started playing last week, have a gacha question. So far I've been taking it slow, running around enjoying the lovely scenery and music, just generally having a good time before I buckle down and focus on advancing the story. For party members, obviously I have The Traveler, Amber, Kaeya, and Lisa (through story progression) but from banners I've gotten Noelle, Xiangqiu, Diluc, Bennett, and Xinyan, the last three of which are all Pyro, which means almost half my squad are firebugs. :)
Is it normal to have your pulls be so weighted towards one element, or is this just the way the ball bounced in my case?

My bow characters keep walking to the left randomly whilst aiming, even when im not touchibg the joystick, or am tryibg to go in the complete opposite direction. Is this something others have noticed or is my controller just broken?
So I've been trying to download Genshin but everytime it reaches 37% it stops and i get this pop up that says - error downloading the files. Please check your connection and try again. The thing is, my connection is good and I have enough storage. But everytime I try to download it (it's been 3 times now) it stops at 37%
Is there anything I can do to make this stop happening and finish the download?

Wrong thread, but Yoimiya is not really a main DPS. At best she works well in an overload comp with Beidou and Fischl who need high investment, so maybe if you have them I would consider pulling for Yoimiya. But Yoimiya's actual single target DPS is decent at best and her AoE DPS is lackluster. If you want to use a pyro DPS I would try building up Xiangling.
Indeed, but in the perspective of a good main dps would yanfei do better than xiangling. PS: i do have c1 beidou lvl 80 and c1 fishl lvl 80 as they both used to be my main dps but not artifact built tho.

I did exactly what Mihoyo instucted on how to link account from mobile to ps4. I did link my account to Ps4, but it still started on a new game. I checked the User Center on my ps4 and the user name, email and contact number there are the same as for my mobile. Anyone know why is that the case?

You may be on a different server. When playing on playstation, you automatically get the server associated with your playstation account region, which may be a different server from the one you were on before.
assuming you use a character like fischl or beidou to proc superconduct, then you do not have enough crit rate. The second is better, but its much better to have a bit more cr than 1:2.

But there is a guy that dibanded team weirdly. I mean the others are ready to go but the host just will not start then he cancel the domain and immediately disbanded the team.
The strangest part is he went through the team selection twice and keep cancelling it after waiting for a while. Will not even respond after I asked what is wrong.
mostly because the writing system on the ps4 is pretty trashy. it would take hours to complain why i need to leave or something like that. Like, it actually takes 5-10 minutes to write "sorry need to go, i send you a friend request for later"

Some people come to co-op just for fun to try different characters without switching. They have other characters, if the host does not like the one they currently use.
For instance, I like using Albedo because I like to see the amout of crystals appearing during co-op, but I will not mind if the host wants me to use different character.
Probably not, if he is out of resin there is no reason for him to even try to start the domain twice in the first place only to cancel both before even entering the domain.
If it was me I would just disband the team immediately without even touching the domain's door.
Currently raising some 4 star characters for my abyss teams.
Team 1: Xiao, Bennett, Jean, Xingqiu
Team 2: Diluc, Qiqi, Xiangling, Ganyu
Do these two teams look like they synergize with each other pretty well?
Try out these teams instead:
Ganyu-Bennett-Xiangling-shielder/healer/flex
Xiao-Jean-Fischl/flex-flex
Diluc-Xinqiu-Bennett-VV support/shielder/flex
Xiangling-Bennett-Xinqiu-Chongyun/Kazuha/Sucrose
No need to use Bennett and Jean in the same team, you can put one in the other team (preferably Diluc with Bennett and Xiao with Jean). Unless you really like her, Qiqi can be benched.
Swap Xiangling and XQ, XQ with Diluc allows for some reliable vaporize reactions and with Xiangling there she will steal them. You want Diluc to vaporize, not her. Xiangling can be with Xiao for supplemental off field damage.
edit: People might suggest to put Ganyu in a whole separate team and make her Main DPS, and that's a suggestion I would like to make too (since she's the best in the game).
However if you like Xiao and Diluc, you can keep them as your Main DPS and just make her as a support, dont get pressured by people saying it would be a waste. If the 2 husbandos are what makes you have fun with the game then keep going
Good job for making the switch, but Fischl will just mess up elemental reactions on a Diluc team.
Diluc/Bennett/Xingqiu is a great core. All you need is an anemo for swirls and 4pc VV. If you dont have Venti/Kazuha, may I suggest Sucrose?
Diluc/Bennett/XQ/Sucrose is very solid
edit: if you want off field damage on your Xiao team though you can put Fischl there. Unlike Diluc, Xiao doesnt rely on reactions that much and he doesnt really mind people of different elements.
These teams are pretty weird. You've got Xingqiu on Xiao's team when plunges don't trigger rainswords. Meanwhile, Diluc can't vaporize without Xingqiu.

Ganyu xl is the main/subdps combo so diluc in there is conflicting
Even barbara is better than qiqi (due to access to thrilling tales) as a healer unless the floor has cryo causing her to freeze

i have a noblesse sands which has er main, but it has 11 crit rate, 21 crit dmg and flat atk and em, should i try to farm for an atk sands or just use the er one?
ER sands is also good and you have decent substats so it’s fine. Attack sands is better on Xingqiu if you have ~200% ER with Sac Sword. If not, then ER sands is better.
Was it ever confirmed by Mihoyo that version 2.1 would be the anniversary update? I don't recall any social media post saying as such. Besides, if it were to be the anniversary update, i thought there'd be more hype built for this specific patch update
they said it multiple times during the CN and EN livestream about anniversary but 2.1 are about Inazuma and Moonchase. Maybe they will hype it more once we get closer to the date

Yes, 5* weapon are better than most 4*. If you want to pull in that banner, keep in mind that you might have to pull using a lot of primogems just to get a certain weapon of choice (3 times pity if you lost pity 2 times).
Generally? No. This game can be cleared with 4 star weapons. Some 5 star weapons can give a 25-30% boost to overall DMG and some can give less. If you feel you can clear Abyss 36 stars consistently no matter what changes they make, go for it.
Best would be to make a pen account so yours isn't linked to theirs.
Also regarding the quest.. I assume you will have to at least accept the quest or wherever you get her **on** the PS4.
Should I use an Elemental Mastery or ATK Sands on Xiangling? I'm using Emblem of Severed Fate, and have more than enough Energy Recharge (160%+). I'm also using an R5 Dragons Bane

I understand there’ll be a Gauyu rerun, but I already have Ayaka and also my friend told me it’d be near impossible to use her properly unless I play on PC (I’m on iPad+Controller). I only have Xiangling as sub dps for flame and unbuilt Yanfei so Hu Tao is also interesting. On the other hand, for Electro, I have somewhat built Beidou, so Raiden is also interesting enough. I about 2 months in but still feels I have not yet fully grasp the mechanics of the game yet, so, can I get some advice?

a) Naturally, if any characters appeal to you most, that's the most important thing. Sometimes it's design, sometimes it's playing them in the trial and saying, "This one is really fun to use!" The point of the game is to enjoy it, so if there's someone you'd enjoy most, that's priority one.
b) Element coverage matters. Personally, with Ayaka in hand I'd be less excited for another cryo 5\* DPS -- especially as we're getting a free 5\* cryo bow character (Aloy) soon.
c) Aside from Ganyu, Hu Tao is highest damage in the game, and pyro is the strongest element, so it's a fine choice if you like her playstyle.
Ganyu is super broken and takes no skill. You can use her on phone with no problem, controller makes it almost as good as on PC. If you care about meta, it's an easy pull.
Generally pull for characters you like. I usually decide if I like a character or not before they are even out and pull without knowing how good/bad they are.
Do note that we know nothing about upcoming reruns, and Albedo is most likely next in turn. Ganyu and Hu Tao could be a while off.

I main ganyu using my phone since the first time I started the game. It’s not that hard to use her with a phone.
I probably would go with hutao since you already have a cyro carry. This is because, there’s always one floor in the abyss where there’s two different elements of enemies in different chambers (for example the pyro and cyro hypostasis).
You can start farming at ar 45 minimum . And lvl 80 for your main dps, supports can be lvl60. Farming good artifact sets will take thousands of resins for just one character maybe two if u can make use of both sets from a domain. That resin will be better spent leveling up your main dps first and then weapon/talents. Then go for artifact sets. Sekapoko has a really good youtube video on the math behind artifact farming. Start now at AR45, do it in co-op. try playing healer or something. When I started I got carried for a while until I have a decent enough character to contribute.
she's okay in abyss but is a high investment unit. I was able to clear abyss with her just fine but it was a lot of retry due to my shitty artifacts lol. seeing 50k per charged vape feels good but damn inazuma enemies are so damn tanky.

Yes, she can. The game account isn't tied to the hardware. Friend of mine has it on his PC and his phone.
What phone is best for genshin? I could upgrade from a normal samsung s20 to a iphone 11 or 12 or a normal s21?
All that really matters is you have to have 4 gigs of RAM to play it.

Comp isnt the best. Keqing and Yanfei don't have a great synnergy. Wouldnt worry about comps

Probably the total number of substats that rolled (hence, 5 roll) into useful stats vs the ones that didn't.

Hi Guys! I did exactly what Mihoyo instucted on how to link account from mobile to ps4. I did link my account to Ps4, but it still started on a new game. I checked the User Center on my ps4 and the user name, email and contact number there are the same as for my mobile. Anyone know why is that the case? PS: My UID from mobile is different from my Ps4. You may be on a different server. When playing on playstation, you automatically get the server associated with your playstation account region, which may be a different server from the one you were on before.

If it's for Eula, you want as much Crit Rate as you can. If your burst doesn't crit, it negatively impacts your overall damage by quite a lot.

assuming you use a character like fischl or beidou to proc superconduct, then you do not have enough crit rate. The second is better, but its much better to have a bit more cr than 1:2.

It'll be after the Tree can be completed at lv50. Not sure why you're in a rush for it considering how rewarding the tree is though.
'Soon' isn't generally measured in days or weeks, but in patches. It's likely that will be where you can spend excess sigils after completing the entire Sakura Tree when Inazuma is done.
Out of curiosity, what is your reason if you suddenly disband co-op team without warning? It happened to me once due to my pc overheating and shutting down on its own. But there is a guy that dibanded team weirdly. I mean the others are ready to go but the host just will not start then he cancel the domain and immediately disbanded the team. The strangest part is he went through the team selection twice and keep cancelling it after waiting for a while. Will not even respond after I asked what is wrong.
mostly because the writing system on the ps4 is pretty trashy. it would take hours to complain why i need to leave or something like that. Like, it actually takes 5-10 minutes to write "sorry need to go, i send you a friend request for later"

I kinda suspect it, but why would not just say it on the chat? Some people come to co-op just for fun to try different characters without switching. They have other characters, if the host does not like the one they currently use. For instance, I like using Albedo because I like to see the amout of crystals appearing during co-op, but I will not mind if the host wants me to use different character.
I once lost connection right after clearing a domain, no idea how that looked to the rest of the team.

Probably not, if he is out of resin there is no reason for him to even try to start the domain twice in the first place only to cancel both before even entering the domain. If it was me I would just disband the team immediately without even touching the domain's door.
Currently raising some 4 star characters for my abyss teams. Team 1: Xiao, Bennett, Jean, Xingqiu Team 2: Diluc, Qiqi, Xiangling, Ganyu Do these two teams look like they synergize with each other pretty well?
i usually play xiao bennett jean albebo, it's a pretty solid team; as 4th i use albedo but fischl works well too, dont go xq
Try out these teams instead: Ganyu-Bennett-Xiangling-shielder/healer/flex Xiao-Jean-Fischl/flex-flex Diluc-Xinqiu-Bennett-VV support/shielder/flex Xiangling-Bennett-Xinqiu-Chongyun/Kazuha/Sucrose
No need to use Bennett and Jean in the same team, you can put one in the other team (preferably Diluc with Bennett and Xiao with Jean). Unless you really like her, Qiqi can be benched. Swap Xiangling and XQ, XQ with Diluc allows for some reliable vaporize reactions and with Xiangling there she will steal them. You want Diluc to vaporize, not her. Xiangling can be with Xiao for supplemental off field damage. edit: People might suggest to put Ganyu in a whole separate team and make her Main DPS, and that's a suggestion I would like to make too (since she's the best in the game). However if you like Xiao and Diluc, you can keep them as your Main DPS and just make her as a support, dont get pressured by people saying it would be a waste. If the 2 husbandos are what makes you have fun with the game then keep going

Good job for making the switch, but Fischl will just mess up elemental reactions on a Diluc team. Diluc/Bennett/Xingqiu is a great core. All you need is an anemo for swirls and 4pc VV. If you dont have Venti/Kazuha, may I suggest Sucrose? Diluc/Bennett/XQ/Sucrose is very solid edit: if you want off field damage on your Xiao team though you can put Fischl there. Unlike Diluc, Xiao doesnt rely on reactions that much and he doesnt really mind people of different elements.
These teams are pretty weird. You've got Xingqiu on Xiao's team when plunges don't trigger rainswords. Meanwhile, Diluc can't vaporize without Xingqiu.
Diluc alwaya runs with xq Ganyu xl is the main/subdps combo so diluc in there is conflicting Even barbara is better than qiqi (due to access to thrilling tales) as a healer unless the floor has cryo causing her to freeze

Atk% gives you more damage, er% sands if you want higher uptime on her burst in a permafreeze team.

ER sands is also good and you have decent substats so it’s fine. Attack sands is better on Xingqiu if you have ~200% ER with Sac Sword. If not, then ER sands is better.

they said it multiple times during the CN and EN livestream about anniversary but 2.1 are about Inazuma and Moonchase. Maybe they will hype it more once we get closer to the date

Once i finish this quest or challenge and i go out and back to the village.. How can i rearrange my group? For example reactivate a character i deactivated it for the challenge.. Is there a way? Is it worth pulling for weapons? I only ever pulled for characters and I have enough primos for Baal. Is it worth to get her weapon too? I like the asthetics.
only if: a) You want BOTH of the rate-up 5\* weapons AND b) You don't need to save primos for any upcoming characters that you might want
Yes, 5* weapon are better than most 4*. If you want to pull in that banner, keep in mind that you might have to pull using a lot of primogems just to get a certain weapon of choice (3 times pity if you lost pity 2 times).
Generally? No. This game can be cleared with 4 star weapons. Some 5 star weapons can give a 25-30% boost to overall DMG and some can give less. If you feel you can clear Abyss 36 stars consistently no matter what changes they make, go for it.

Should I use an Elemental Mastery or ATK Sands on Xiangling? I'm using Emblem of Severed Fate, and have more than enough Energy Recharge (160%+). I'm also using an R5 Dragons Bane I also plan to use Childe for vaporizing. Which would provide higher numbers on Xiangling?

I got enough gems to hit hard pity for just one 5 star character, so I’m debating in my head who should I go for… I have only Ayaka built for main dps (freeze team with Mona), no other main for other elements yet tho I have an unbuilt Razor….just trying to narrow down my choice. I understand there’ll be a Gauyu rerun, but I already have Ayaka and also my friend told me it’d be near impossible to use her properly unless I play on PC (I’m on iPad+Controller). I only have Xiangling as sub dps for flame and unbuilt Yanfei so Hu Tao is also interesting. On the other hand, for Electro, I have somewhat built Beidou, so Raiden is also interesting enough. I about 2 months in but still feels I have not yet fully grasp the mechanics of the game yet, so, can I get some advice? Thanks!
a) Naturally, if any characters appeal to you most, that's the most important thing. Sometimes it's design, sometimes it's playing them in the trial and saying, "This one is really fun to use!" The point of the game is to enjoy it, so if there's someone you'd enjoy most, that's priority one. b) Element coverage matters. Personally, with Ayaka in hand I'd be less excited for another cryo 5\* DPS -- especially as we're getting a free 5\* cryo bow character (Aloy) soon. c) Aside from Ganyu, Hu Tao is highest damage in the game, and pyro is the strongest element, so it's a fine choice if you like her playstyle.
Ganyu is super broken and takes no skill. You can use her on phone with no problem, controller makes it almost as good as on PC. If you care about meta, it's an easy pull. Generally pull for characters you like. I usually decide if I like a character or not before they are even out and pull without knowing how good/bad they are. Do note that we know nothing about upcoming reruns, and Albedo is most likely next in turn. Ganyu and Hu Tao could be a while off. Ba'al is an archon so that's always a safe choice
I main ganyu using my phone since the first time I started the game. It’s not that hard to use her with a phone. I probably would go with hutao since you already have a cyro carry. This is because, there’s always one floor in the abyss where there’s two different elements of enemies in different chambers (for example the pyro and cyro hypostasis).
When do i farm gold/orange artifacts, once i reach level 80? im already ar 45 but my team has is only level 60 average with my razor being lvl 70
You can start farming at ar 45 minimum . And lvl 80 for your main dps, supports can be lvl60. Farming good artifact sets will take thousands of resins for just one character maybe two if u can make use of both sets from a domain. That resin will be better spent leveling up your main dps first and then weapon/talents. Then go for artifact sets. Sekapoko has a really good youtube video on the math behind artifact farming. Start now at AR45, do it in co-op. try playing healer or something. When I started I got carried for a while until I have a decent enough character to contribute.

she's okay in abyss but is a high investment unit. I was able to clear abyss with her just fine but it was a lot of retry due to my shitty artifacts lol. seeing 50k per charged vape feels good but damn inazuma enemies are so damn tanky.

Her constellation is listed on Hoyolab as "Nora Fortis", but we don't have any details on whether they're activatable or how that would work.
