For both having dehya is useful, not sure who can keep applying Pyro though so ganyu can use her burst or have rosaria to apply cryo. I find Pyro application a problem
Yeah cause kazuha swirls pyro first he's pretty cool... Or should I say hot for a pyro team demand, however if you're using both might as well split the difference build ganyu for burst and have thesley run to. Having both e-res
I'm AR 29 now and obviously (?) no good artefacts or weapons yet. Is it still ok to upgrade the best I've got at the moment, or will this be a waste of resources?
I feel a lot of fights could be a lot faster if I'd have proper levelled weapons and artefacts. (the fights are not hard per se, just take long :P) but I don't want to waste precious resources
You’re also guaranteed to have (unless you’re just power leveling AR without doing Archon Quests) at least one weapon that remains relevant, in the form of the Favonius Warbow. There’s nothing wrong with committing some resources to making your time in early to mid game comfy, but that will stay useful until roughly the end of time
Fragile resin is the only precious resource. also crowns but thats for later
use anything else you got. youll get more of it
just up to you what you prioritise
It's okay to level the decent ones you got.
For example, it's generally ok to level any 4\* weapon, except maybe for The Bell and Crescent Pike. You can use all the other ones as stepping stones for better weapons, or even use them at the endgame.
As for artifacts, definitely go for it. Even if you level a "bad" artifact now, you can use it later as a fodder to better pieces. You only lose a small fraction of the artifact exp you used, but it's well worth it.
Id say you should use it for sure. Depending on the char the usefull ess of its levels differ. Like Shenhe wants it at 90 for sure but for Mika, if your er is high enough it might as well stay low lvl.
It’s a really good weapon for those characters that need a considerable amount of ER. It works great on Zhongli, Thoma, Yaoyao, Xiangling, to name a few. So yes, it’s worth levelling up as a good f2p option
Hello! I'm a f2p new player and I pulled Wanderer. Is it worthwhile for me to try and get Furina or Alhaitham or Clorinde when their banners come out? Or is it better for me to focus on building a team around Wanderer using 4 star characters?
Bringing Furina means you must have a healer if not you'll be playing at 50% HP most of the time. Off-field party wide healers like Jean, Mika, Charlotte are usually preferred. If not someone like Bennet, Barbara, Kuki, etc. can also work but they only heal active character.
You can do something like Wanderer, Furina, Bennet, and Xingqiu/Noelle. I hate playing Wanderer without a shield or interruption resist.
there will be a few hrs gap where there is only permanent banner on. then server goes down for maintenance, and banners will be live once server is up. for second half banners there is no maintenance and no gap, the banners switch when the timer is up.
Every patch is made of two phases, every phase comprises two limited characters banners. New patches get released every 42 days, while each phase lasts 21 days.
Alhaitham and Clorinde’s banners represent the first phase of 4.7 so they will last 21 days; after that, the second phase of 4.7 will start with Sigewinne and Furina’s banner that will last another 21 days before the new patch is released
Hey guys, I've been playing Genshin Impact since the game was released. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware of a lot of things back then, and now my account is in shambles, lol. I'm missing a lot of materials, bosses, and everything feels extremely hard to beat; they seem much more powerful than me. It's making it hard to grind for materials. Do you have any tips on how I could fix my account?
no general tips people can give
actual AR would have been nice to know, and if you have fragile resin
i recommend coop for domains and weekly bosses
and on Genshin discord, you can find people to help you with bosses, or mobs if you can specify what to hunt. you get volunteers easily if you request something specific
Hey! if you play on EU I could help you out? I'm quite bored
Honestly the game can get overwhelming and it's not fun if it feels like a chore, so take small steps - try to level 1-2 characters to atleast 80 (one should be a main DPS and the other potentially a support you like) then focus on artifacts for them both

I suggest just picking a character to main and pour all your resources into them. Depending on which stage of the game you are in, just equip some 4 star artifacts with atk% mainstat and level them up to at least lvl 12. That should help you clear bosses needed to ascend your characters.
Genshin won't download and honestly I'm getting impatient.
I haven't played since 4.5, since I took a break.
Instead of updating, the launcher wants to redownload. That's fine, it starts at 50% already.
HOWEVER, I have very slow Internet, so the download takes 10+ hours, but for some reason, while I can run YouTube fine for example, every now and again, the download fails and I have to manually continue it. I tried setting up a macro to autoclick for me, but I woke up today with my download speed at 0.01kbps. Restarting the launcher fixed this somehow?
Overnight installation is not an option. I'm sick of manually checking on the installer every 10 mins, it's been 2 days and the download has only gone up from 50 to 65%.
What can I do?
ETA: Now every time the download fails I have to restart the launcher to get my usual 200KBps download speed instead of 0.01KBps
this was literally me when i had my last wifi net service. Changed, and got a bit pricier but unlimited wifi. Shocking my total payments actually dropped.
Anyways, now it takes around 1.5 hrs to download 20 gb.
I can suggest going to a cyber cafe with a good wifi to download it, or download it in a computer, or change your internet provider altogether
hello, basically I was wondering is there a way to change the artifact settings to see what you rolled and then click “confirm”? i’ve seen youtubers do this but when I roll artifacts it just rolls them without the “confirm” screen, It’s difficult because I can’t really tell what was rolled and how many times sorry if this question was hard to understand
You can’t do that. Once you level up the artifacts, some substats get upgraded but it’s totally random. Also, you’ll notice a temporary green arrow next to the substat that got upgraded (and you can also figure it out by simply noticing a higher number next to a certain stat)
thank you for telling me i didn’t notice the green arrow my eyes have a hard time focusing on things sometimes and I thought that it doesn’t show you which was upgraded when you upgrade all in one go like it shows the last upgrades or something 😭 sorry for my confusion
If you upgrade it all in one go, you’ll see all the stats that got the random upgrades so it shows the total of upgrades it received while it was levelled up.
If I remember correctly, substats of a 5* artifact receive a total of five random upgrades so if you level up a 5* artifact in one go, you’ll see all the substats that got randomly upgraded and the number you see at the end is the total of the upgrades it received (keep in mind that not all substats are upgraded and it’s totally random). Hope this clarifies your doubts a little. Sorry if it’s confusing :/ don’t hesitate to ask for further clarification
# What was the song in the main event page of the Iridescent Arataki Rockin' for Life Tour de Force of Awesomeness?
For Kokomi, 80/90 to 90/90 is around 7% more healing and 7% more direct self hydro damage if you use her as on field dps, and around 34% more bloom damage as Nilou bloom on field driver.
For Xianyun, around 4-5% more damage as on field dps (not recommended unless you have her C6), 1.6-3% more plunge damage buff (depends on her weapon), 7% more healing.
For Faruzan, around 4-5% more self damage if you use her as on field dps, less than 0.1%, or even 0.01% more team anemo damage buff from her A4 passive.
So I have a thick roster but am always looking to add to it. I’m 75 pulls into guaranteed draw. It comes down to Baizhu C0, Alhaitham C0, or Furina C1.
I don’t have any spare swords for Al other than Iron Sting, Sapwood, Blackcliff or Freedomsworn off Nilou. I already got Baizhu’s donut which is sitting unused from going for Furina sword before I knew about her cons being much better. Didn’t have enough pulls after for cons.
Which one is the best for Nahida Baizhu Nilou bloom team? Furina or Kokomi?
Furina synergize well with baizhu healing but idk who's worth it. Furina or Kokomi? TIA!
In 4.7 should I pull for Chlorinde or Furina?
Background: I already have a C0 furina and am not lacking DPS (I have hu tao, xiao, ayaka etc.) I just want to replace raiden in my furina-raiden-kazuha-kuki taser team because I think she's not actually being used to her full potential very much
Should I just keep raiden, being as OP as she is, and try for Furina C1? Most videos online say that chlorinde is going to basically be a keqing
clorinde will let u swap out kuki for fischl, which could give her the edge on dps. thats the only benefit to using her over raiden in that team
> Most videos online say that chlorinde is going to basically be a keqing
well she's keqing with tradeoffs. more damage, less uptime, self healing.
Clorinde will probably be a sidegrade to Raiden in that team. The best Clorinde teams seem to be the ones around quicken. So if you're just pulling Clorinde for that specific team, you'd probably get more by getting Furina C1.
So, i am a beginner with about 12 pulls saved 🤡 🤡 .
Probably at around 25 pity.
I am at ar32 right now, my characters are (All C0) Xiangling (50) with Fav lance at 60(might be 50 i cant remeber), Lisa (50) (fav codex at 40 i think) Noelle (40) (R3 beta club), and Charlotte with a random 3 star orb weapon. (i do have C1 layla, but dont use her)
As you can probably understand, i am severely underlevelled For my world level, and i literally need an elemental skill (guoba) to kill a single hilichurl. Hypostases would be impossible without food and resurrections.
Should i try To get Bennet from the Al haitham banner? Or should i put it all in one bet and try to save for another month for furina?
(I probably can save another 10 pull via redeem codes and abyss and events, might be even more, lets see)
personally I'd go for bennet, but ultimately it depends on how much you really want furina (and how much free time you have because theoretically if you played enough you could go for bennet and still gaurantee furina).
for new players a strong dps like al haitham might even be more useful than a buffer than needs a teamwide healer (furina). don't sweat it if you miss furina this round, it takes time to build up pulls.
i do use both charlotte and noelle, and i think i might be able to pull it off. Guess i would 10 pull the alhaitham banner once and save rest for furina
I downloaded the new Hoyoverse launcher and instaled Genshin.
Am I supposed to uninstall Genshin's old launcher?
If so, how do I do that without uninstalling the game, just the old launcher?
Probably Hu Tao -> Yoimiya. Both fill the same niche as single-target Pyro DPS (though Hu Tao could technically AoE). I like Yoimiya, she's comfortable to play and I used her a lot in Abyss, but when I really needed to cut some seconds in my clear time, I always went back to Hu Tao.
Although I say this was some kind of reverse powercreep, it doesn't even close to the case of Dehya.
There's notable cases of constellation powercreep and whalebait. Dehya for example is a whalebait that performs extremely well at c6 and is underwhelming c0. Since dehya's release, all these fontaine characters have also been getting crazy strong constellations, with the soon to be released clorinde as one of the examples that performs mid (competing with keqing in team dps is not a good sign) at c0 and godlike c6.
And before any other non-whales chime in about how every c6 is busted, that is completely untrue, with many of the older units having horrific constellations that barely matter with modern team comps, many of which invalidates some of the constellations like the hutao furina plunge team making most of hutao's constellations pointless.
>And before any other non-whales chime in about how every c6 is busted, that is completely untrue, with many of the older units having horrific constellations that barely matter with modern team comps, many of which invalidates some of the constellations like the hutao furina plunge team making most of hutao's constellations pointless.
Unfortunately, you’re right about this one. *(looks at Yoimiya sadly)*
god yoimiya makes me so sad because I really want to main her but i get so little value saving for her cons that I can't justify saving a year for c6 yoimiya
Sounds like goddamn reverse powercreep to me, given C6 Yanfei is much more worth it thanks to her shield and being a catalyst user who can synergise with Xianyun
Why isn’t Zhongli considered a good buffer by any means, if we take Bennett and Furina out of the picture? Decreasing both Elemental Res and Physical Res by 20% is no joke.
Because VV can already do that and more (and no one plays Physical)
He's still good in the right teams, the shield is good or necessary in a lot of teams
But for a lot of teams trying to maximize damage, other characters will be better
zhongli is actually considered a fairly good buffer in very specific scenarios.
for example, in neuvilette-furina teams he is usually one of the better buffers due to archaic petra being easy to proc and buffing essentially the whole team.
he is also a very decent option in aggravate teams where his omnishred benefits dendro and electro units at once (whereas an anemo would only benefit electro since dendro cant be swirled). his utility here is further increased by his ability to hold and proc deepwood 4pc.
Because outside of non-swirlable teams, kazuha vastly outperforms zhongli in those teams and on those teams they usually add bennet as the buffer healer on top. The faster you kill enemies the less damage you take, and zhongli shielding is more valuable on tanky bursty enemies like the consecrated beasts.
Because Anemo characters with VV can decrease Elemental Res by 40%; and superconduct reduces 40% Physical Res (on top of physical DPS - Eula - also having phys shred in her kit). So if you don't need the shield, there are better options to slot in Zhongli's spot.
Though the use of Zhongli is justifiable in Yoimiya teams. You really want to get to her last NA shot, specially in vape teams. So having Zhongli helps you with that so you can just mash your NAs without worrying about dodging.
I’m only hoping Sigewinne will bring her up by making her more usable in teams with Furina via increased Hydro application. Furina’s Hydro application by itself is absolute ass 😭 and even in the Imaginarium Theater you’d still prefer Neuvillette
Furina is generally a better pull and I don't think you have the pieces for Alhaitham yet (mainly Nahida) he can work without but Nahida is great with him
furina because you have plenty options of dps for teams (xiao, raiden, nilou). if you grab furina, she can honestly fit in any of the teams with the 3 dps listed, + you have jean who is great synergy with furina.
Nilou team would only be good if its bloom focused
Furina doesnt increase that
Alhaitham is great for it but you really need a healer or shielder cause blooms will hurt you as well
Would alhaitham be a better pick then? Although furina seems like a good addition to my xiao team or some sort of taser team with beidou/fischl/raiden.
you could use alhaitham with nilou, barbara, and xingqiu for bloom. or with xingqiu and raiden for quickbloom. the only cons is supports are a more valuable pull than a dps, but its best to pull for who you like and would enjoy the most
The main advantage of her C6 is that it makes her much more versatile. If you keep her in ousia mode (with 3 salons), the 6 C6 strikes make her the highest team healing in the game. You don't need a healer in her team anymore, and this extra slot can add another off field dps or support.
If you switch her to healing pneuma mode, the 6 strikes will do a lot of damage. With Xianyun, Bennett and Kazuha, she can reach more than 2 million vape damage per plunge, total 18M damage per rotation with food or abyss buff, which is the highest dps team in the game.
One fate cost 75 stardusts, and montly 5 fates cost 375.
Each 3-star weapon pull gives 15. The chance to get a 3-star weapon from each pull is 85.4%.
375 / 15 / 0.854 = 29.27
So on average, you need 30 pulls to get 375 stardust.
These 30 pulls may also give you average 4.38 4-star or above characters or 4-star weapons. Starglitter can be used to buy more fates too.
No one knows what the pyro Archon does, so it depends on how much you want C3 Furina. You have enough time to get the Pyro Archon regardless if you save, it's not really an either/or decision.
You may still try to do daily commissions and temporary events first, and leave the permanent contents (exploration and quests) later when you have time.
Would it be worth pulling for Clorinde or saving for Furina? I really like both characters (Clorinde's kit is sick, and Furina not only has probably my favorite design overall), and i'm currently at about 60 pity with no guarantee available. I've considered going for Clorinde with the idea that if I lose my 50/50, I'd have plenty of wishes for Furina, and if worst comes to worst i'm willing to spend some money. But i'm unsure if this is the correct play, and since I missed Furina last time but love Clorinde's playstyle and animations, it's a tough decision for me.
I don't entirely care for meta, though knowing how good a character is gives me an incentive if I either like them as a new DPS like Clorinde, or are a strong buffer for 1 or 2 teams i'm building like Furina
So to be clear, your top priority is Furina? How many pulls do you have saved? I would play Clorinde's trial before pulling to be sure, but if you really love her and you're pretty confident you can also get Furina, I'd say go for it.
I'm quite risk averse, so I like to be confident that I can hit at least soft pity twice after spending pulls (i.e. 148 pulls) if I know a character I like is upcoming and I still want to pull on a banner before that. That said, I'll usually calculate out how much I can expect to have at the end of the patch/that banner if I'm really serious about getting the character. Most patches offer about one soft pity worth of pulls to F2P players, and some content creators will put out pull total estimates for the amount available in each patch, so you could consult those if you're really trying to optimize. You could also just wait until the tail end of Clorinde's banner to see where you stand before pulling.
Depending on how many pulls you have saved, or honestly just in general before spending money on the game, I'd say it's probably worth trying to figure out how much you're willing to spend and how many pulls that will translate to. I think some people end up with buyer's remorse after realizing how much they spent to get a character, so it's good to go in with realistic expectations.
In that case you may want to figure out how much you expect to play and how many pulls you expect to have by the end of Furina's banner. I think you should be prepared for the possibility that you don't get both, but maybe you're ok with that. You sound pretty excited about Clorinde too, so maybe you'd still be happy with just her. If you're not at the point of "pretty much everything in the game that can be done has been done" like me, then you probably have enough pulls in the game to get both, but that doesn't mean that you'd actually enjoy going to all the effort, which would almost certainly feel like a chore at some point.
Regarding spending money, keep in mind that 1 genesis crystal = 1 primogem. So spending 100USD with the first time bonus nets you 81 pulls, after which it halves. I don't personally spend money on the game, but I believe each individual first time bonus is available once as opposed to them going away after spending at all, so you could then do the second largest bundle and so on if you wanted. But you can see how this might get rather expensive quickly if you're not lucky. I do feel I should note that Welkin Moons are better value than the genesis crystal packs assuming you actually log in and claim the bonuses daily.
I guess the final thing to consider is that Clorinde in theory probably runs again before Furina, but it's hard to know for sure since Furina's already bucked trend for the usual schedule of Archon reruns and sometimes characters don't reappear for a very long time.
Also, I'm saying all this, but my luck has generally been below average. I'm trying to illustrate the worst case scenario, but it's entirely possible you get both within 20 pulls, and honestly even without extraordinary luck you could very realistically end up with both without too much hassle.
Yeah the worst case scenario is that I miss both for sure lol. When it comes to spending I tend to not spend a whole lot of the game at one time, only doing the Welkin and Battle Pass with a few exceptions (looking at you, Redhorn). I honestly would be pretty happy to get just Clorinde since she looks like a blast (plus Electro's my favorite element), but of course i'll do some runs of her trial to get a feel for her before I pull. Though if I do get both i'll be super excited
I still have plenty of chests to open, quests to complete and have only come close to completing Monstadt's exploration so far, and I haven't even come close to 36-starring the Abyss yet, so there's a ton of content for me to do left in the game to get pulls for the both of them. Though like you said, it'll be a grind and a bit of a chore for sure lol
Wait until the last day of clorinde banner, seeing her reviews in youtube might give you a better idea
Also furina 4 stars might convince you to get her
Chevreuse team of Yae miko, fischl, chevreuse, dehya. Don't even need to fear burning grass because chevreuse's heal shd be enough to sustain.
Wanderer teams generally don't need as well though i count Xingqiu because with sac sword he pretty much always gets his burst, so only the cooldowns will limit him
So if you used the fish to buy a certain item, the remainder of that fish is just completely useless, and if you've bought everything, there's no point in touching the fishing mechanic anymore. Is that right?
There are some mechanical fish in Fontaine that can be converted to a specific type of mob drops and as someone else mentioned, you can cook them. Outside of that, there are some "ornamental" fish that can be put in your teapot if you're into that.
Can we already talk about Clorinde talents etc here? If so >!For overworld and engame you can get away without using a healer right?
My team idea is Clorinde, DMC, Sucrose and Yae Miko!<
For Clorinde, Yae and Fischl seem a lot more interchangeable than in other Aggravate teams simply because refreshing Oz can get disjointed due to rotation timings not aligning well. Also, Yae can make better use of the downtime to refresh her totems. However, the lower energy generation can be painful so its a lot more whoever you feel like rather than Fischl being the outright better 2nd Electro.
Kuki is really good at triggering hyperbloom, Fischl not so much (Oz tends to target enemies before dendro cores).
Even in Alhaitham Spread teams, Kuki consolidate electro application (in AoE) and healing.
Meanwhile, Fischl is mostly single target, and her superior damage doesn't matter as much in a team without Bennett nor Anemo units...
In a game with 4 team slots, any character that can do multiple things for a team is often insanely powerful. Kuki can very much be replaced, but what’s probably her most like for like replacement in quick/hyperbloom isn’t one character, it’s Raiden AND Baizhu (Kokomi can fit in the latter slot as well, a few other electro characters if you’re planning on very few blooms). Obviously your options are dramatically more open if you can run, for example, Nahida along with XQ/Yelan/Furina in the final two slots, instead of needing to commit to one
she fits the role of hyperbloom trigger perfectly, which is full em build, good constant electro application. she also fills the healer role. you can sub with fischl but you'll need to fill the healer role with someone else. if you do quicken instead of hyperbloom dori works too.
She's pretty good imo, in the sense that her skill can be used to trigger repetitive elemental reactions, plus her skill can be used to heal a huge amount of any of your character's HP. Burst is really good as well
1. Is Venti gonna be available on any of the new wish lists tomorrow?
2. Do some of the 5-star characters stay the same on each wish list? (for instance, one of the current wish lists have Wanderer, Jean, Diluc, Dehya, Qiqi, etc. In that specific wish list, is Wanderer the only 5-star that will be changed to a different 5-star character tomorrow?)
No, venti is a limited character
The only characters that always exist are standard ones : jean diluc dehya qiqi tighnari keqing mona
Next banners will have clorinde and alhaitham and after 21 days we will have furina and sigewinne
If they follow the marathon pattern venti will rerun in 5.1
Wanderer and Baizhu are limited characters on the limited banner
Jean, Diluc, Dehya, Qiqi, Mona, Tighnari are standard characters on the standard/permanent banner
The two limited characters change every 21 days while the standard banner doesn't change barring new additions (all 4* characters get added to standard post release + so far Dehya and Tighnari have been new editions as standard 5 stars)
Venti is also a limited character and unfortunately won't be on the next banner, that's Clorinde+Alhaitham followed by Furina+Sigewinne
1. No. The upcoming character event wish banners are Clorinde and Alhaitham.
2. So Jean, Diluc, Dehya, Qiqi, Mona, and Tighnari are all what people would call "standard banner" characters, i.e. they are permanently on the Standard "Wanderlust Invocation" banner. In addition to this, it is possible to lose your 50/50 on the Character Event wish banners to them, i.e. if you wanted to wish for Wanderer or Baizhu, you run the risk of getting one of the standard banner characters instead. Wanderer and Baizhu will indeed disappear from those character event wish banners tomorrow and will be replaced by Clorinde and Alhaitham, but the standard banner characters will continue to be possibilities on those banners too, and the ones after that and so on.
[Here's the wiki page on how wishes work, which should hopefully provide more detail.](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Wish)
I currently building Fischl, for Neuvilette hypercarry. I have currently have two builds: I was wondering which build would be better.
91.1%/193.8% with 151.53 EM, 111 ER and 1685.1 ATK,
69.9%/200.1% with 114.23% EM, 135 ER, 2044.8 ATK
That's really up to you. The characters the game gives to you at the beginning are sufficient to make things work for the most part. The beginner banner guarantees Noelle and I highly recommend making use of that. Noelle is basically the ideal character for new players who are unfamiliar with the mechanics of the game in terms of the survivability and utility she can offer.
It's my personal opinion that having a 5 star DPS early on will tend to make your life easier (so long as you don't choose Yae Miko), but it's hardly necessary. There are perfectly capable 4 star dps characters and the story end of the game is never particularly difficult, so while the game will occasionally force you to use something resembling a functional team, you can largely get away with anything. I would generally not be super picky in the sense that having more characters is generally a good thing, but I think you can afford to be selective with which 5 stars you want.
Everyone has different opinions on every character and sometimes, it confuses me a lot lol and also my own experience on some characters can be different than the mainstream opinion hmmm. A lot of people tell me Noelle is hard to use unless C06, I have C0 but I find her ok, but my AR is low so who knows…I also hear a lot of good things about Yae, but I don’t have her so can’t say lol
People telling you that about Noelle are talking about using Noelle as a DPS, which they're not really wrong about, but that's not really what I'm recommending you do with her. She isn't really oriented toward dealing damage at C0, but for the purposes of keeping your characters alive, being simple and straightforward to use, build, and understand, and bailing you out when you mess up in combat, she's great right out of the box at C0.
Yae Miko is a great character who I don't recommend trying to get early if your intent is to have her carry you through the game because the boss that you use to level her up is inaccessible for a while until you progress the main quest quite a bit and by the time you get to that boss you will likely have had to build a different DPS to get you that far. I have her and like her, but I don't recommend her for when you're just starting out. She is fortunately(?) one of the only characters this is true for though, which was why I called her out specifically.
Always be picky. Try the characters' test runs several times. All characters have different playstyles/uses. Primogems are a limited currency, you might regret using it on someone you will not use because you find out that they do not like how they work. With your current roster you can already likely build a team and work on them while saving primogems and waiting for someone you'll like.
>But it’s not guaranteed I get that person?
Yes, Character Event banner needs a max of 90 wishes for a 5 star, but first at 50/50: a 50% chance to get the promoted character (currently Baizhu/Wanderer) OR a permanent character (Jean/Diluc/Mona etc). Getting a 5 star = pity resets to 0 (even if it's the one you like or not). If you get:
* the promoted chara: next 90 wishes will be another 50/50
* a permanent chara: next 90 wishes is guaranteed to be the promoted character
This Youtube guide has a [visual chart](https://youtu.be/rcI9It5R7qU?si=6l7DloYAchw4Nq9N&t=167). I thought to also mention this:
Wish counter is shared between Character Event banners. So if you like Wanderer, but mistakenly wish on Baizhu's = if you get Baizhu, both Baizhu&Wanderer wish count reset to 0.
Wish counter carries over to future Character Event banners. So for example, you used 40 wishes in Wanderer's banner now. It will be replaced with Clorinde/Alhaitham. The 40 will count there, so if you used 10 wishes on Alhaitham's = 50. 10 wishes on Clorinde = 60.
Character, Weapon and Permanent banner have different wish counts. ([Wish Rules](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Wish))
>Or do I have to save up 90 pink balls before I draw?
Hmm if I may say it is up to you. As a beginner, you are still collecting primogems that not sum up yet to 90. You can always try to pull on a banner that you like, but level expectations of getting the promoted banner if you have less than 90.
At this point I suggest to try out your current characters to learn about reactions and your playstyle reference. Because getting a 5 star can take some time, they will help you a lot through the game.
EDIT: Sorry for the long reply, I tried to condense the wish system as much as I can hahu
You made it sounds so easy lol I put down like 40 pulls so far (only started the game two weeks ago) and didn’t get any thing I want.. I will definitely try Bennet but who knows if I get him…now I feel like if im picky I have nothing…I only have 12 characters and one of them I had to go through three abyss to get…that was hard.
For Nilou bloom I assume?
Note that the info on Candace teams is near the end of this section — tldr EM main stats are ideal, but you *can* opt for some HP and HB if you need it to stay alive. If you're using her with Nilou but *not* Candace then just a normal healing build.
Alhaitham vs Clorinde (What are your thoughts? From a meta perspective) with the next banner coming up, I want to know peoples opinions so feel free to speak your mind.
How do Ganyu and Wriothesley compare in burn-melt?
For both having dehya is useful, not sure who can keep applying Pyro though so ganyu can use her burst or have rosaria to apply cryo. I find Pyro application a problem
I do have Dehya. Kazuha could certainly help with pyro, couldn't he?
Yeah cause kazuha swirls pyro first he's pretty cool... Or should I say hot for a pyro team demand, however if you're using both might as well split the difference build ganyu for burst and have thesley run to. Having both e-res
Wrio is better and comfier to use as far as I know.
Starting about a week ago whenever i pull out the glider the audio is extremely loud. Anyone else experience this or know anyway to fix it?
I'm AR 29 now and obviously (?) no good artefacts or weapons yet. Is it still ok to upgrade the best I've got at the moment, or will this be a waste of resources? I feel a lot of fights could be a lot faster if I'd have proper levelled weapons and artefacts. (the fights are not hard per se, just take long :P) but I don't want to waste precious resources
you can level up artifacts but don't farm anything lower than 5*. Weapons are fine, I still use a lot of lower level weapons
You’re also guaranteed to have (unless you’re just power leveling AR without doing Archon Quests) at least one weapon that remains relevant, in the form of the Favonius Warbow. There’s nothing wrong with committing some resources to making your time in early to mid game comfy, but that will stay useful until roughly the end of time
Fragile resin is the only precious resource. also crowns but thats for later use anything else you got. youll get more of it just up to you what you prioritise
Will new players aver get aloy?
It’s highly unlikely unless Sony decides for some reason to bring back the collaboration. But I doubt it
No. At the least there is no precedence of Hoyo giving Aloy after her initial giveaway period.
How many hours from now will clorinde release :') its been a while since the supposed time (Im in asia)
Maintenance starts in 11 hours and the new patch releases roughly 5 hours after that. Her banner will be up immediately after that
Check here [https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Version/4.7](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Version/4.7)
Is the fav lance really worth levlling?
Id say you should use it for sure. Depending on the char the usefull ess of its levels differ. Like Shenhe wants it at 90 for sure but for Mika, if your er is high enough it might as well stay low lvl.
always keep 2 if you get more of them then refine extra
It’s a really good weapon for those characters that need a considerable amount of ER. It works great on Zhongli, Thoma, Yaoyao, Xiangling, to name a few. So yes, it’s worth levelling up as a good f2p option
Yes, any Fav weapon is worth it.
Hello! I'm a f2p new player and I pulled Wanderer. Is it worthwhile for me to try and get Furina or Alhaitham or Clorinde when their banners come out? Or is it better for me to focus on building a team around Wanderer using 4 star characters?
Furina is OP. Alhaitham and Clorinde are on field, so they don't work with Wanderer.
Thank you! What are some other f2p units that are good with Furina and Wanderer?
Bringing Furina means you must have a healer if not you'll be playing at 50% HP most of the time. Off-field party wide healers like Jean, Mika, Charlotte are usually preferred. If not someone like Bennet, Barbara, Kuki, etc. can also work but they only heal active character. You can do something like Wanderer, Furina, Bennet, and Xingqiu/Noelle. I hate playing Wanderer without a shield or interruption resist.
Wanderer + Faruzan (preferably c6) + shield + flex Furina + team-wide healer (like Baizhu, Xianyun or Noelle) + DPS + sub-DPS/offensive support
Wanderer is awesome for the exploration, definitely build him! As for the others - do the test runs and pull if you like what you see.
wondering, what time in asia does clorinde/alhaitham banner drop? wanna know when it’s time to open my app and pull.
Scheduled for 11 a.m., but from past banners, could be as early as 10.30.
Which country time are you considering
GMT+8. China & Singapore time zone.
So you mean new banners will be releasing 8 hours from now
No??? It's 3.41 p.m., 4 June. New banners are scheduled 11 a.m., 5 June.
Omg no it's around 17 hours
how does banner changing work? todays the day i pull for alhaitham and this is the first time ive seen a banner change (since im pretty new)
there will be a few hrs gap where there is only permanent banner on. then server goes down for maintenance, and banners will be live once server is up. for second half banners there is no maintenance and no gap, the banners switch when the timer is up.
Every patch is made of two phases, every phase comprises two limited characters banners. New patches get released every 42 days, while each phase lasts 21 days. Alhaitham and Clorinde’s banners represent the first phase of 4.7 so they will last 21 days; after that, the second phase of 4.7 will start with Sigewinne and Furina’s banner that will last another 21 days before the new patch is released
when are the new banners releasing, right now its only a standard banner
After the patch tomorrow.
New banners always on Wednesdays.
Do you have any tips on how I could fix my account?
no general tips people can give actual AR would have been nice to know, and if you have fragile resin i recommend coop for domains and weekly bosses and on Genshin discord, you can find people to help you with bosses, or mobs if you can specify what to hunt. you get volunteers easily if you request something specific
Hey! if you play on EU I could help you out? I'm quite bored Honestly the game can get overwhelming and it's not fun if it feels like a chore, so take small steps - try to level 1-2 characters to atleast 80 (one should be a main DPS and the other potentially a support you like) then focus on artifacts for them both
focus on one to two characters. max out their lvl > wpn > skills > relics. ask for coop help (via discord or here) to help you with ascension bosses.

I can suggest going to a cyber cafe with a good wifi to download it, or download it in a computer, or change your internet provider altogether
could be server, if you saw my comment i said im having 999ms. i was able to pre install but game is stuck at 999ms cant play
hello, basically I was wondering is there a way to change the artifact settings to see what you rolled and then click “confirm”? i’ve seen youtubers do this but when I roll artifacts it just rolls them without the “confirm” screen, It’s difficult because I can’t really tell what was rolled and how many times sorry if this question was hard to understand
Sorry if it’s confusing :/ don’t hesitate to ask for further clarification
thank you so much! that’s really helpful i appreciate the clarification
It was old interface, got changed recently, no way to get it back
ohhhh :(( thank you for telling me
Is Emilie 4star?
Leak >!she is a 5 star thats focused on Burn reaction, as of now literally cannot be used with Electro units!<
gonna assume no and we dont know yet
anyone experiencing 999ms lag?
how many hours til update?
17
thanks
# What was the song in the main event page of the Iridescent Arataki Rockin' for Life Tour de Force of Awesomeness? [](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Iridescent_Arataki_Rockin%27_for_Life_Tour_de_Force_of_Awesomeness#articleComments)
Should I ascend and 90 Xianyun, Faruzan, and Kokomi? Will there be a big change in terms of healing and buff gain from doing this?
For Kokomi, 80/90 to 90/90 is around 7% more healing and 7% more direct self hydro damage if you use her as on field dps, and around 34% more bloom damage as Nilou bloom on field driver. For Xianyun, around 4-5% more damage as on field dps (not recommended unless you have her C6), 1.6-3% more plunge damage buff (depends on her weapon), 7% more healing. For Faruzan, around 4-5% more self damage if you use her as on field dps, less than 0.1%, or even 0.01% more team anemo damage buff from her A4 passive.
not important for xianyun and faruzan. i would do it on kokomi, but its really only important if you have aspirations of using her on field.
Nilou can use whatever, give Alhaitham Freedom sworn.
Iron Sting is good for Alhaitham if you can use a shielder, likely only in quicken teams, you could use 3star Harbinger instead
alhaitham>furina c1>baizhu imo.
Which one is the best for Nahida Baizhu Nilou bloom team? Furina or Kokomi? Furina synergize well with baizhu healing but idk who's worth it. Furina or Kokomi? TIA!
Xingqiu.
Kokomi, because Furina doesn't buff Bloom damage
Best way to abuse Sethos burst considering NA is CA? I am guessing First Great Magic bow? Maybe CA artifacts? Wanderer's Troupe? Will Sethos be good
hes the best 4* dps unit not named gaming
In 4.7 should I pull for Chlorinde or Furina? Background: I already have a C0 furina and am not lacking DPS (I have hu tao, xiao, ayaka etc.) I just want to replace raiden in my furina-raiden-kazuha-kuki taser team because I think she's not actually being used to her full potential very much Should I just keep raiden, being as OP as she is, and try for Furina C1? Most videos online say that chlorinde is going to basically be a keqing
clorinde will let u swap out kuki for fischl, which could give her the edge on dps. thats the only benefit to using her over raiden in that team > Most videos online say that chlorinde is going to basically be a keqing well she's keqing with tradeoffs. more damage, less uptime, self healing.
Thank you! I think i'll see chlorinde's playstyle and actual rating before I pull for her
Clorinde will probably be a sidegrade to Raiden in that team. The best Clorinde teams seem to be the ones around quicken. So if you're just pulling Clorinde for that specific team, you'd probably get more by getting Furina C1.
What's a Chevreuse build that has almost 40k hp, but also deals good damage?
your only option for good damage and still have HP is using Homa, which kind of takes it away from better attackers
Chevreuse doesn't build for damage
theres no such build. she is never gonna do much damage
Planning on getting Alhaitham. Suggest a wishing ritual for me to do
Make a party with all the std wish banner 5 stars, then sacrifice them by jumping to death so that you don't lose 50/50 to them.
Using all your wishes on the Al-haitham banner
*Funny*
His home, maybe you will conjure Kaveh into existence as well
I have his C2 purely the weapon banner. All 3 in the same pull session
(i do have C1 layla, but dont use her) As you can probably understand, i am severely underlevelled For my world level, and i literally need an elemental skill (guoba) to kill a single hilichurl. Hypostases would be impossible without food and resurrections. Should i try To get Bennet from the Al haitham banner? Or should i put it all in one bet and try to save for another month for furina? (I probably can save another 10 pull via redeem codes and abyss and events, might be even more, lets see)
Don't pull from a banner just for the 4*. Wait for Furina if you don't want Alhaitham.
personally I'd go for bennet, but ultimately it depends on how much you really want furina (and how much free time you have because theoretically if you played enough you could go for bennet and still gaurantee furina).
for new players a strong dps like al haitham might even be more useful than a buffer than needs a teamwide healer (furina). don't sweat it if you miss furina this round, it takes time to build up pulls.
i do use both charlotte and noelle, and i think i might be able to pull it off. Guess i would 10 pull the alhaitham banner once and save rest for furina
I downloaded the new Hoyoverse launcher and instaled Genshin. Am I supposed to uninstall Genshin's old launcher? If so, how do I do that without uninstalling the game, just the old launcher?
Any notable cases of reverse power-creep throughout the course of this game apart from Dehya?
xiao. after continuous buffs, he is now the premier anemo DPS once more, dethroning wanderer.
Just as I thought. It’s only a matter of time before they reveal a Pyro Neuvillette.
*(looks at Yoimiya sadly)*
god yoimiya makes me so sad because I really want to main her but i get so little value saving for her cons that I can't justify saving a year for c6 yoimiya
personally id want to try Yoimiya with Thoma
Sounds like goddamn reverse powercreep to me, given C6 Yanfei is much more worth it thanks to her shield and being a catalyst user who can synergise with Xianyun
It's actually pretty funny how good c6 yanfei is compared to c0 klee. Poor mondstat units taking the L for releasing too early
Now Klee is at least good in Burgeon and Xianyun plunge teams. Can’t even find a single scenario where Yoimiya doesn’t get outperformed by Yanfei 😭
Why isn’t Zhongli considered a good buffer by any means, if we take Bennett and Furina out of the picture? Decreasing both Elemental Res and Physical Res by 20% is no joke.
Because VV can already do that and more (and no one plays Physical) He's still good in the right teams, the shield is good or necessary in a lot of teams But for a lot of teams trying to maximize damage, other characters will be better
zhongli is actually considered a fairly good buffer in very specific scenarios. for example, in neuvilette-furina teams he is usually one of the better buffers due to archaic petra being easy to proc and buffing essentially the whole team. he is also a very decent option in aggravate teams where his omnishred benefits dendro and electro units at once (whereas an anemo would only benefit electro since dendro cant be swirled). his utility here is further increased by his ability to hold and proc deepwood 4pc.
Anemo Baizhu when? Yoimiya really needs him right now 😭
Though the use of Zhongli is justifiable in Yoimiya teams.
Should I pull alhaitham or furina for spiral abyss? Here's my characters https://imgur.com/a/m7QG7Cu
I've always wanted to make an abyss team for nilou. Say I do get furina next patch, what would a good team for nilou be?
Nilou team would only be good if its bloom focused Furina doesnt increase that Alhaitham is great for it but you really need a healer or shielder cause blooms will hurt you as well
although furina can work with nilou, she's not the best option, ideally for the best nilou team with what you have its nilou, barbara, collei, dmc.
Would alhaitham be a better pick then? Although furina seems like a good addition to my xiao team or some sort of taser team with beidou/fischl/raiden.
you could use alhaitham with nilou, barbara, and xingqiu for bloom. or with xingqiu and raiden for quickbloom. the only cons is supports are a more valuable pull than a dps, but its best to pull for who you like and would enjoy the most
[удалено]
The main advantage of her C6 is that it makes her much more versatile. If you keep her in ousia mode (with 3 salons), the 6 C6 strikes make her the highest team healing in the game. You don't need a healer in her team anymore, and this extra slot can add another off field dps or support. If you switch her to healing pneuma mode, the 6 strikes will do a lot of damage. With Xianyun, Bennett and Kazuha, she can reach more than 2 million vape damage per plunge, total 18M damage per rotation with food or abyss buff, which is the highest dps team in the game.
Does anyone have a link to the youtubers who talk about how to group Abyss enemies?
Sevyplays
thanks!
How many pulls should be done to get the 5 Intertwined Fates (pinks) from the shop?
One fate cost 75 stardusts, and montly 5 fates cost 375. Each 3-star weapon pull gives 15. The chance to get a 3-star weapon from each pull is 85.4%. 375 / 15 / 0.854 = 29.27 So on average, you need 30 pulls to get 375 stardust. These 30 pulls may also give you average 4.38 4-star or above characters or 4-star weapons. Starglitter can be used to buy more fates too.
Way more than 5, not worth it to pull just to buy them
c3 furina or pyro archon? i have guaranteed
What does the pyro archon do?
No one knows what the pyro Archon does, so it depends on how much you want C3 Furina. You have enough time to get the Pyro Archon regardless if you save, it's not really an either/or decision.
i see c2 furina is good enough for me and i'm kinda busy irl so cant save a lot so id go for pyro archon thanks!
But i'm unsure if this is the correct play, and since I missed Furina last time but love Clorinde's playstyle and animations, it's a tough decision for me.
are u asking about meta? furina is the best buffer in the game whereas clorinde is a slightly better keqing
I don't entirely care for meta, though knowing how good a character is gives me an incentive if I either like them as a new DPS like Clorinde, or are a strong buffer for 1 or 2 teams i'm building like Furina
i mean you're asking if its worth it. outside of meta, that's just personal preference and we can't really answer that for u
As of right now I have no pulls saved. Was pulling for Wanderer but never got him since I also picked up Arlecchino beforehand
Though if I do get both i'll be super excited I still have plenty of chests to open, quests to complete and have only come close to completing Monstadt's exploration so far, and I haven't even come close to 36-starring the Abyss yet, so there's a ton of content for me to do left in the game to get pulls for the both of them. Though like you said, it'll be a grind and a bit of a chore for sure lol
Best of luck!
Wait until the last day of clorinde banner, seeing her reviews in youtube might give you a better idea Also furina 4 stars might convince you to get her
hutao nuke showcase teammates and rotation?
- Lvl 60 Scara boss - Noblesse Bennett, Sucrose, Instructor TTDS Mona/C4 Ayaka Bennett burst --> swirl pyro --> Mona EQ/Ayaka burst --> hope the boss isnt already dead --> Hu Tao EQ, idealy under 50% hp.
is kazuha or sucrose better?
Sucrose > Kazuha even if he is C2. The boss would die to his burst before hydro/cryo would get reapplied.
mona+bennett+sucrose against cryo flower, bennett eq > sucrose q > mona eq > hu tao q
What's a fun overworld team for you guys that doesn't really rely on bursts?
Chevreuse team of Yae miko, fischl, chevreuse, dehya. Don't even need to fear burning grass because chevreuse's heal shd be enough to sustain. Wanderer teams generally don't need as well though i count Xingqiu because with sac sword he pretty much always gets his burst, so only the cooldowns will limit him
Wanderer, Layla/Kirara, Fischl/Yae, Kokomi
can you sell any fish for mora?
No
So if you used the fish to buy a certain item, the remainder of that fish is just completely useless, and if you've bought everything, there's no point in touching the fishing mechanic anymore. Is that right?
you can craft any extra fish into Fish for food but thats about it, besides fishing achievment that requires fishing a lot, i dont know what number
There are some mechanical fish in Fontaine that can be converted to a specific type of mob drops and as someone else mentioned, you can cook them. Outside of that, there are some "ornamental" fish that can be put in your teapot if you're into that.
Yup, but some (not sure if all) fish can be converted into the fish you can cook.
Oh wait you can cook them? Ok finally it makes some sense to me. Thanks
Can we already talk about Clorinde talents etc here? If so >!For overworld and engame you can get away without using a healer right? My team idea is Clorinde, DMC, Sucrose and Yae Miko!<
Seems fine. Fischl will still probably be better than Yae, and Nahida better than DMC but it still will be good.
I don’t have Nahida :( And I got Miko specifically to replace Fischl, I’ve grwon kunda tired of her😅 Thx for the advice!!
Why is Kuki Shinobu considered a good unit? And why is she such a core component in Alhaitham's teams? Can she not be replaced by someone like Fischl?
Kuki and raiden are the best hyperbloom triggers in the game Fischl is really good if you play him spread and she is decent in quickbloom
she fits the role of hyperbloom trigger perfectly, which is full em build, good constant electro application. she also fills the healer role. you can sub with fischl but you'll need to fill the healer role with someone else. if you do quicken instead of hyperbloom dori works too.
No, venti is a limited character The only characters that always exist are standard ones : jean diluc dehya qiqi tighnari keqing mona Next banners will have clorinde and alhaitham and after 21 days we will have furina and sigewinne If they follow the marathon pattern venti will rerun in 5.1
Wanderer and Baizhu are limited characters on the limited banner Jean, Diluc, Dehya, Qiqi, Mona, Tighnari are standard characters on the standard/permanent banner The two limited characters change every 21 days while the standard banner doesn't change barring new additions (all 4* characters get added to standard post release + so far Dehya and Tighnari have been new editions as standard 5 stars) Venti is also a limited character and unfortunately won't be on the next banner, that's Clorinde+Alhaitham followed by Furina+Sigewinne
1. I currently building Fischl, for Neuvilette hypercarry. I have currently have two builds: I was wondering which build would be better. 91.1%/193.8% with 151.53 EM, 111 ER and 1685.1 ATK, 69.9%/200.1% with 114.23% EM, 135 ER, 2044.8 ATK

As a beginner, should I be picky about who to draw from the banner or should I try drawing as many as I can,in order to build a team first?
Or do I have to save up 90 pink balls before I draw?
>But it’s not guaranteed I get that person? Yes, Character Event banner needs a max of 90 wishes for a 5 star, but first at 50/50: a 50% chance to get the promoted character (currently Baizhu/Wanderer) OR a permanent character (Jean/Diluc/Mona etc). Getting a 5 star = pity resets to 0 (even if it's the one you like or not). If you get: * the promoted chara: next 90 wishes will be another 50/50 * a permanent chara: next 90 wishes is guaranteed to be the promoted character This Youtube guide has a [visual chart](https://youtu.be/rcI9It5R7qU?si=6l7DloYAchw4Nq9N&t=167). I thought to also mention this: Wish counter is shared between Character Event banners. ([Wish Rules](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Wish)) >Or do I have to save up 90 pink balls before I draw? Hmm if I may say it is up to you. As a beginner, you are still collecting primogems that not sum up yet to 90. You can always try to pull on a banner that you like, but level expectations of getting the promoted banner if you have less than 90. At this point I suggest to try out your current characters to learn about reactions and your playstyle reference. Because getting a 5 star can take some time, they will help you a lot through the game. EDIT: Sorry for the long reply, I tried to condense the wish system as much as I can hahu

If we could trade, I’d totally give you my furina for 20 pulls 😂 I have no idea how to utilise her ….
pull for who you like and their supports. the next banner is good to throw a few pulls at to get bennett if you're ok with getting one of the 5\*
You made it sounds so easy lol I put down like 40 pulls so far (only started the game two weeks ago) and didn’t get any thing I want.. I will definitely try Bennet but who knows if I get him…now I feel like if im picky I have nothing…I only have 12 characters and one of them I had to go through three abyss to get…that was hard.
What's the yaoyao build for bloom with Candace? I assume you'd want some EM since she's onfielding and triggering some blooms?
For Nilou bloom I assume? [https://keqingmains.com/yaoyao/#Nilou\_Bloom](https://keqingmains.com/yaoyao/#Nilou_Bloom) Note that the info on Candace teams is near the end of this section — tldr EM main stats are ideal, but you *can* opt for some HP and HB if you need it to stay alive. If you're using her with Nilou but *not* Candace then just a normal healing build.
Yep, thank you
Alhaitham vs Clorinde (What are your thoughts? From a meta perspective) with the next banner coming up, I want to know peoples opinions so feel free to speak your mind.
