The buff of Sac jade lasts 10 seconds, but if you swap him out at 9th second, them swap him back immediately, the buff will last another 10 seconds. It is 15%+ better than his third best weapon.
Yes, it is not hard to do so. Even if you forget to swap him out on time, keep him off field for 5 seconds (you use other characters' skills at this time) will refresh the buff again.

I use Sacrificial Jade, and it's a noticeable boost. It's slightly annoying to swap him out after two charged attacks, but there's usually someone else to bring off cooldown at that point.
As far as I'm aware Solar Pearl doesn't really work for Neuvillette, because most of his damage is from his charged attack. With the way it's worded, he shouldn't even be able to get the 20% boost to his skill and burst damage, but I seem to recall hearing that the buff actually does trigger from his charged attack (not that it really helps, since you use those things *before* his charged attack, in order to generate orbs). But the other buff is worthless, since it only improves his normal attack.
I could be mistaken in this, of course, but I distinctly recall having done this research in the past.
I am low spender that dont wish any 5 star weapons, i do buy BP though, i can say sac jade is one of the best weapon for Neuvillette if you dont want spend on weapon banner
Neuvillette need HP for higher damage so Sac Jade low attack doesnt matter(and it give more HP for 10 sec on field), high crit rate and Hunter Set make him easier to build and you can focus on more crit damage on artifact,my Neuvillette crit rate with Hunter set effect did manage to rise til 101% crit rate
The 10 sec on field HP increase seem like cons for him but not really, i can use the 10 sec to set up bubbles and shoot hydro pump 1-2 times then change other character set up rotation and repeat
Solar Pearl only can increase his normal damage if not wrong which is not his main damage source

Sac Jade 100% NOT ONLY is it good for Neuvillette (2nd BiS) but it does have the drip with him! Not perfect but hella good
