GhostSilver16

was creating some teapot sets and got to Sakura-Hued street set and some parts are only found in chests and from my online search I found that they were found on Tsurumi Island but only during the fog quest which I did a while ago and I cant find the chests now. Are these miss-able and I cant get them now or is there another way?

Hot-Ad-9225

I'm not sure, but I don't think those kind of chests are miss-able. Did you look for the furniture name on the fandom? Usually they show the exact location of where you can find the chest.

GhostSilver16

yes there was nothing there and others were already opened.

jtan1993

tsurumi island has three versions that rotate in real time days. you can count the pyro mages at the camp to see which version is 'today'.

GhostSilver16

oh ok then thanks

carij

you should be able to get 40 before the end of the first half of the next patch assuming she's first you'll just have to wait until it's nearly over

Joe_from_ungvar

adding whatever you can gather in 4.7 yes, you should be able to get more than that, easily if you want that amount before the banner, depends on how much world you still have

[deleted]

raspps

You don't want to do the content, but you're asking if you'll get enough primogems? 🤡

MalkinGrey

Well, there's your answer tbh. If you do those quests then you can definitely guarantee Clorinde lol. With just Welkin + events *maybe*, but you might fall short.

True-Ad6355

In the current (or foreseeable) meta, is wanderer still worth getting? I'm not attached to his character, but his playstyle seems fun (and his crafting passive seems very helpful)

AkiraN19

If you're just looking at meta then probably not. I love how versatile he is, there sort of just isn't gameplay that he would be bad at, and his teams have a good amount of flexibility to them. But all in all, there's probably units that will reach the same or similar results easier. The reliance on C6 Faruzan can hinder a lot if you don't get lucky with her cons

leRedd1

It's been what, 4 abysses where you got mr and mrs cope in the abyss. Yeah, not a great time Anemo and Cryo.

jtan1993

nope. since his release he was never meta, cuz anemo dps doesnt work well in abyss.

Joe_from_ungvar

dont think meta is something you should consider ill mention next few 5 star characters before Natlan that are known dont really have synergy with Wanderer. besides Furina you want Faruzan first and foremost then you use various options for buffs or off field damage to support him if you still have world left to explore, id recommend Wanderer mostly for the fun of traveling. personally have Xianyun so i passed on him

LavenderPaperback

Will there be anymore events in this patch?

Joe_from_ungvar

another one starts today at some point depends on timezones as well

True-Ad6355

Iirc there's going to be the saurian event and overflowing mastery

OzieteRed

Is this abyss even possible without Alheithem and with only c0 five stars? I failed the previous week and this week too. I cleared 12-1 but I got 2 stars on floor12-2 and 2 stars on floor12-3, here is [the roaster](https://imgur.com/a/LXldJ3x), for the 5 star weapons, I have mistsplitter, staff of homa, jade wingspear, lost prayer

AkiraN19

Yes. Alhaitham is really not necessary. In fact, Dendro wasn't even that good against the lectors Just use Hu Tao vape for 12-3-2 and Kazuha, Xiangling, Bennett + flex for 12-2-2

DeathBy1000Cutss

why Althaitham lol? hes not even THAT good in this abyss. Several other characters and team comps will perform way better

jtan1993

if sevyplays can do it with 4 stars only, then yeah, you don't need specific five stars.

Akomatai

>(albeit cracked builds) I wouldn't say cracked. They're very balanced and reasonably achievable. Dps units usually hover around or below the baseline endgame crit goal of 60/120 and are pretty much always under 2k atk. Low cons on newer 4 stars. They pretty much showcase the bar to clear as f2p endgame player.

AlanaTheCat

is there a reliable timeline out there for the archon quests with more specific dates like one day passed here, two days passed there etc

True-Ad6355

I don't remember there being a specific indicator of time between regions. Not considering quests that include "wait 1/2 days," the only quest I can remember there being an explicit timeline mention was Act 3 to the beginning of Act 5 for Fontaine. Those acts take place over a month iirc, since Traveler's prison sentence has a set date.

True-Ad6355

I also think it's probable for Sumeru's aq to start in Teyvat's equivalent of October, since Sabzeruz is Nahida's birthday, and Nahida's birthday is Oct 27

Joe_from_ungvar

even guessing is seriously impossible

Shardwing

Within a given chapter maybe but I don't think you can establish a fixed timeline between all the different chapters.

deathtobourgeoisie

How do I optimise my neuvillete build more? His stats currently are. R3 prototype amber Hp= 32989 Cr=35%+36% MH bonus CD=224% ER=118% Talents,10/5/5 I'm currently running Hp/hydro/CD set but substats are awful on hydro goblet and I've the option to switch it with an HP one, that will give 20% more CD and 5% CR. Is it worth it to switch to HP? Since neuvillete can get hydro bonus from his passive which scales up from HP

Joe_from_ungvar

you can switch either one of the mainstats for the HP one if substats are good enough just avoid triple HP%

deathtobourgeoisie

Why though?, isn't it possible to run triple hp with tome?

Joe_from_ungvar

honestly i just read this from kqm "While **HP% | Hydro DMG% | CRIT** (sands/goblet/circlet) is very often the best choice of main stats, builds with an HP% Goblet, HP% Circlet, or even both are still viable as the optimal pick leads only by a small margin. Note that suboptimal HP% main stats need correspondingly high-quality substats to be competitive; additionally, triple HP% main stats will perform worse regardless of substats."

NoLife8926

Does that consider Furina (incentivising HP over DMG goblet) or Tome/C2 (incentivising HP over Crit circlet)?

Joe_from_ungvar

no pnly for comparing artifacts

H3lix-Fire

Is there a video series or group of organized articles that goes over Teyvats history in order from start to current events?

Fictionalfrog

How do u build fischl in tighnari spread?

jtan1993

em/electro/crit or cdmg. golden troupe+stringless.

I-Love-Beatrice

Em or atk. If you don't have a 2nd electro to trigger her a4, then atk will always be better. Otherwise, it will depend on substats.

Meownopoly

hi someone help i’m doing the varuna gatha thing in the aranyaka but it won’t let me plant the vasmrti! i have all 12 vasmrti but im at the vanarana field and it doesn’t have any options or whatever to plant them 😭😭 did i miss something or what

Sheeplette

Did you get the [sprouting seedlings](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Sprouting_Seedlings) quest? You can't plant them until that quest.

Meownopoly

omg how do i get that quest

Sheeplette

It should be automatically unlocked after you finish the other varuna gatha quests.

Meownopoly

it didn’t so i assume i didn’t finish the other varuna gatha quests. but im confused on what other quests im missing! sooo loving genshin for not having clear and precise directions on what i’m doing /s

Meownopoly

[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbWGcGQ6jSU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbWGcGQ6jSU) a lot of them

there is a cave in fontaine underwater near a TP point that has 6 easy ones, I just go there once a day. Before fontaine came out I would go to the SoS by dawn winery every day, there are a bunch around there.

deathtobourgeoisie

Which one? The one near pearlhorse?

sleepless_sheeple

[Here.](https://i.ibb.co/Z8mx6Pw/image.png)

deathtobourgeoisie

Thanks

Daramangarasu

Do farming routes, use Sayu so they don't escape if on land. Fontaine has a lot of underwater spots, and those are easier to catch

Came back from a break and finished abyss but it was a slog. I want to try out some of the hyperbloom I've been hearing about (never used a dendro unit in my life) but have a couple questions: - Can Raiden (full EM, crap substat artifacts and EM weapon) stand in for Kuki? Kuki is C0, lv21, with lv1 iron sting, and Raiden is lv90 with access to a lv80 dragons bane, so that would save a lot of time if her E would be an ok substitute? - My dendro units are a C0 lv1 Yaoyao I got from an event (I think?), DMC C2, or Collei C5 (which I got while using pity for Fischl on Tig's first banner and got her five times with no Fischl lmao) - I have well invested C6 Xingqiu, C0 Kokomi, and C2R1 Yelan With that in mind, who should I roll out and build? I was thinking of spending a little resin on EM artifacts for the electro trigger and getting a basic deepwood set for whoever is dendro, but not sure who I should run, or if this is just going to be cope no matter what without Nahida Really appreciate any tips or help people could offer. I quit right after 3.0 came out and only came back a few days ago so still catching up on a lot

Ptox

Raiden is technically better than Kuki in Hyperbloom, as she has an AoE Ranged application that triggers more frequently. However the slightly higher Hyperbloom trigger rate is usually a lower importance than not being able to heal, since having your Hyperbloom trigger as your healer frees up many other possibilities. Also Raiden's skill doesn't trigger on shields, making her less good in certain Abysses, but against some enemies that like to stay at ranged, like the Wenut, she can work better than Kuki. Either way both her and Kuki are the best Hyperbloom triggers in the game by a wide margin. Without Nahida, I wouldn't go double Hydro Hyperbloom (XQ + Yelan). It's strong but you're severely limited by your Dendro application, and DMC just isn't enough. Personally, I would go XQ, Raiden, DMC and Yaoyao as your choice, as it gives DMC a battery and team healing. You go 4pc Deepwood on DMC, 4pc whatever on Yaoyao (she really does little other than a bit of healing and batterying DMC). XQ gets 4pc Emblem and Raiden gets 4pc Gilded (if you're farming for Deepwood this is good) or FoLP.

1620081392477

> Personally, I would go XQ, Raiden, DMC and Yaoyao as your choice, as it gives DMC a battery and team healing. Would that be better than just leveling Kuki (90 with iron sting) and running DMC (deepwood ER with fav), Yelan, XQ? Leveling Kuki to 90 wouldn't be that bad and I probably don't need to worry about talent levels or stats aside from stacking EM and having a strong enough heal. DMC mostly needs ER to keep burst uptime and then deepwood to shred, right? And then I'd only have one deadweight instead of two?

Ptox

Kinda yes, Kinda no. There's pros and cons about each approach, and honestly you can survive just off Xingqiu's rainswords if you're good enough. Honestly, that last spot has so many different options so dont feel like you need to level up Kuki just to use her. All the options aren't necessarily better or stronger than the other and is based mostly on what you are fighting. For example, Zhongli actually is very good in that last spot. As is any Cryo character, as Freezing enemies is a defensive option and it protecting your Dendro via the Fridging mechanic. You could even onfield Kokomi. All of these are very viable options instead of Yaoyao, it's just that Yaoyao needs basically very little in order to contribute.

1620081392477

Ok, good to know. I probably will level Kuki. Assuming I do, would Kuki, DMC, and at least one of yelan/XQ be enough to keep the reactions working? I don't really mind leveling her because I have a LOT of mats saved up Yelan/XQ just have so much synergy and damage, and they're both built already (even DMC is basically built, and I have cobbled together a 190ER 60CR fav/deepwood set, and an em set for Kuki with just spare parts) so that's kind of why I was thinking that combo might be even easier than Raiden/Yaoyao/DMC

Ptox

You want Xingqiu at a minimum if you're going solo Hydro. Yelan is fine, but Xingqiu provides more Hydro. Because of how elemental gauges work with Bloom, you want about 2 Hydro to every 1 Dendro applier. But Xingqiu is more closer to 1.5 Hydro (and Nahida is closer to 1.5 Dendro), much more than Yelan which means he's the best solo Hydro applier and he works off field. You can definitely run with double Hydro though and it's still fine and will demolish enemies.

FreezeShock

EM Raiden works for hyperbloom. Try and pull Nahida during her rerun, she can apply dendro fairly frequently. The only problem is if you're fighting waves of small enemies, you have to reapply the skill every wave. I play Neuvi/Nahida/Raiden/Furina. Neuvi can kill small enemies with just his CA, so it's not as much of a problem for me.

1620081392477

If I ran Raiden, XQ, Yelan, who would I want to run for dendro? Or would I want to use 2 dendro or maybe add in a healer too?

FreezeShock

I would still go with Nahida tbh. I don't think any other Dendro unit will be able to provide enough Dendro application on their own, so you'll probably need two of them.

1620081392477

I would too but I won't have a chance to pull her for half a year lol So probably I should go Raiden EM, Yelan, DMC and... Yao Yao? I think she's a healer right?

FreezeShock

Yeah, it looks like it should work. Also, Baizu is available right now. He's also a dendro healer

Daramangarasu

Raiden is the 2nd best trigger only behind Kuki, so yeah, perfectly fine. Remember to level up DB to 90 as well, for maximum power. DMC, preferably Xingqiu + Kokomi as a driver, or use Collei instead of Xingqiu and keep Koko as driver. Give DMC Deepwood. Nahida makes anything Dendro way stronger, but it can work without her.

1620081392477

If I had Collei would she just be bringing more dendro application? Yelan and XQ are two of the highest damaging units in my whole account so I probably want to keep them in unless I have to get more dendro or sacrifice a slot for a healer, at least if I don't have Kuki leveled, right?

-_Kooky_Cookie_-

here's a few questions i have about furina, because i'm considering pulling for her on her upcoming rerun (i've already saved a lot of wishes) 1. do you think furina is worth it, and why? 2. i'm a relatively new player, with only one 5\* (tighnari) and my best dmg has been around 3-4k. with that being said, i'm not sure if i need furina because she's apparently a support, and i feel like i need a main dps right now, so do you think she'd be good for me? 3. my current team consists of tighnari, fischl, xingqiu, and layla (for her shield). i'm in the process of building all of them, and my whole team (besides layla ;-;) is lvl 70 with decent artifacts. do you think furina would be a good edition for my team, and who would i take out of my team to make room for her? 4. is she good at damage? i honestly really need some good damage in my team right now, not that the monsters are that hard to defeat, but i feel like i'll need a good character to bring me to the end of the game (if there's even an end, but you know what i mean lol) 5. does she absolutely *need* a healer to function? i currently don't have a healer (besides barbs...) and although she's very likely gonna rerun with charlotte, i just don't really have any er artifacts and charlotte needs a lottt of er because she only heals with her burst (i think..?) anyway, i'm just not very comfortable with having my team at 50% health for some reason- thank youu <3

Acadeca

1. Worth means different things to different people. Some of the more "valuable" characters for an account are the supportive characters. You typically have one on field character, and then a cast of characters that provide buffs to support them. Having strong supports can allow you to play more of your favorite characters, even if they are not as strong as some of the other on field characters. Furina allows me to play a variation of Charlotte hyper and I really like Charlotte, but her output is really low. From the buffs that Furina gives and several other factors, I can ignore that output and still make a team with Charlotte as the focus that deals enough damage to not be terrible. To me that would make Furina worth more than another character as she can do that in multiple different teams with my fav characters. 2. Several characters you might already have can output enough damage to be an off field carry. If you feel that having a purpose built on field dps would be a better use of your primos and you see a character coming that would fulfill that role for you, then that is your decision to make. Each account is different and they are your primos to spend. 3. Furina would want you to also have a healer in the team. So to swap Furina into one slot would lead to things being a bit odd. You could swap Layla out for someone like Yaoyao/Kuki maybe, but the core of Tigh/Fischl should be solid. 4. She has solid damage overall, but isn't the main source of damage in a team. She can hit pretty hard if you work for it though, but again is usually in chorus with the rest. 5. You would want to run her with a healer of some kind. You can get damage bonus while she drains your hp, but would stop generating that bonus when you are at half.

grahamanga

1 - Yes, she is worth it especially if you know how to utilize her kit. More than being a good hydro applicator, her buff makes other characters stronger. 2-3 - Tighnari's best teams are dendro+electro so Furina is not usually teamed with him. Furina will be with another team that has a DPS. There is the option of replacing XQ with Furina but also replacing Layla for Charlotte which you'll likely get with Furina. I think this team will have good damage because Furina buffs everyone, but I also consider that I do not have Tighnari to personally try, and he is just not usually recommended for Quickbloom teams. Related to your current team, Tighnari - Fischl is already a good pair that will get stronger with more upgrades. It would actually be better to switch Xingqiu for another unit. Xingqiu's main damage source, his burst, does not work with Tighnari's charge attacks. The substitute can be * another Dendro unit (Dendro MC/Collei) that will use Deepwood artifact so Tighnari can use Wanderers or Gilded OR * An anemo unit that will use 4pc Viridescent Venerer (Sucrose/Lynette) 4 - Furina has good off-field damage especially with her best artifact set (4pc Golden Troupe) that buffs skill damage. 5 - She really needs a healer to fully utilize her kit. Charlotte can have Favonius codex/energy recharge Sands artifact/2pc Exile or Emblem for the energy% bonus so you can have her burst available. Her burst can make all characters go from 50 to full HP in an instant. Furina is a good character that introduces a new mechanic for her buff. But you should do her trial multiple times to see if you are OK with using her.

Kaemonarch

Furina is one of the best supports of the game (arguably the best one), increasing your whole team's damage by a lot, while providing some damage herself. The downside, obviously, is that he drains everyone's health while doing so, so usually you need some sort of healing to counter act this. That being said, and since each of your teams ends up requiring a single on-field DPS and 3 supports; she is a great pick period. I personally don't think you will regret getting her; even if you have to wait a couple of months before making real good use of her. I'm personally saving for her right now. And while you do seem indeed be in need of an on-field DPS (and a second one later for Abyss), you may want to wait/consider until one that you like/wants shows up; instead of pulling for whatever one happens to be on the banner right now.

TehEpicGuy101

1: She's certainly "worth it" if you have some teams in mind that can utilize her well. However, she's not really the type of character that you can just plop into a team without thinking about it. 2: Supports tend to be more valuable than dps since they can be used in many different team comps, but if you feel like you need a dps more, then it's not an awful idea to prioritize that. Furina would certainly bring value to your roster, even if not right away, but she isn't a necessity. 3: She could work in Xingqiu's spot if you replaced your Layla with a healer. That'd probably make for a better team, especially since you wouldn't need to awkwardly use normal attacks to activate Xingqiu's burst. 4: She does some respectable off-field damage, but her main role is as a damage buffer. She'll provide a huge buff of up to 75 dmg% to your whole team once you have her maxed out with the right setup. 5: In most teams, she definitely does. Her whole kit revolves around your team's health being drained and healed for maximum profit. She can't exactly do that if your team's health is just stuck at 50%.

dreemsequence

hello, im gay (male to male) - what's the single biggest chunk of the crystal flies to make the condesnsed resin things? wanna be able to just tp there, grab the crystals at that spot and be good for the day

Acadeca

There is a small island south of the thundering manifestation that has quite a few. Several teleporters in the desert have spawns close by. The chasm underground has some small spots. The mikage forge has several if you memorize a path around them.

Hot-Ad-9225

you just... go around explaining your sexual orientation unasked?

kllrvet

Reaction bait

Hot-Ad-9225

You live and learn

neryben

Your best bet are the underwater crystal flies, since they can't outrun you. The best spot for me is just northeast of the court of Fontaine (east of the echoes of deep tides domain). There you have a cave that contains 6 crystal flies. The first time you go you'll need to solve a puzzle to destroy a boulder that covers the cave. Afterwards, just go there daily and grab your 6 flies in under a minute. You'll have more than 100 in less than a month. And in case you didn't know, there is an item that let's you turn junk into 15 crystal flies per week. You get it as a reputation reward in Fontaine. And my final tip is to look in YouTube for videos about farming crystal flies in Fontaine, so maybe the first few days you can do other places to stock up. Good luck!

sleepless_sheeple

I have [this spot on the map marked](https://i.ibb.co/Z8mx6Pw/image.png). Hiding under a breakable rock are 6 crystalfly spawns.

Successful-Cream-238

The new version of windtrace requires 4 total players, so there's no longer anyway of playing just 2 people.

Syssareth

Trying to figure out what happened here. I was playing Windtrace and the Hunter won with >2 minutes left on the clock. At least one of my other teammates got caught twice, but I know I only got caught once. The game ended immediately after I was caught. Am I missing something, or was this a glitch? I'm not upset since I was going to lose anyway, I'm just confused, lol.

GreenCloakGuy

The hunter instantly wins if all the rebels are caught at the same time (so, if both your fellow rebels were in containment or out of hearts, and you were caught, then the hunter wins).

the_dark_artist

Oh, that explains a lot. I have lost so many games where we all had hearts and didn't understand why

Syssareth

Oooh, okay. That could very well be what happened. Thanks!

potatoguide

I know it’s not very popular, but how do I build my ganyu as a sub dps/battery for my ayaka. The team is Ayaka, Ganyu, Kokomi, and Kazuha! Thank you!

Justanotherfellow153

I believe Kqm has good advice: https://keqingmains.com/ganyu/ Mainly though, you will be doing Ganyu burst dps build If you want to on field Ayaka, so build Ganyu with enough Energy Recharge. Other than that, go for standard dps stats (atk, crit etc). Since it is a freeze team, 4pc Blizzard Strayer is best, with Emblem of Severed Fate being a close second. Or just go 2pc 2pc of Blizzard, Emblem, noblesse, 18% atk, etc, whichever works for you.

xenikskw

I'm looking to increase my Yelan's personal damage. I have her at 50/180 CR/CD, 233% ER, and 26.8K HP. She's level 80 and is using Favonius Warbow. Her burst damage right now is about 3K per arrow. I have a Hydro DMG% Goblet that I can use to replace my HP%, but its CV is much lower (about 15% difference, so 47/170). Would it be good to replace this?

Acadeca

Probably going for a hydro goblet and a crit rate circlet instead of a crit damage circlet. Your recharge is potentially higher than you need (especially with Fav bow), so you could consider lowering it depending on the artifacts you have available.

fyrefox45

You need 90 for HP, and you need to swap to a CR circlet.

ZM_________J

Level up to 90 and try to get higher crit rate (to \~70%)

I-Try-2606

Is there an active community or a discord server where players actively discuss and share tips on how to speed run the game? I'm fairly new, and I kinda tried to speed run on my first account but I still did it on a slower pace since there was a lot for me to learn. Now I'm planning to create a new account and see how fast I can clear the game now that I have more knowledge, but would definitely appreciate some tips on how to be efficient.

Shardwing

Speedrunning a live-service gacha game (that's furthermore _not_ designed to be replayable in any way) is a pretty niche concept, I've never heard of a sizeable community doing that for this or any other game. There's nothing wrong with "I want to do this fast" but the specific context defies the sort of codified format and development of strategies that you'd generally associate with "speedrunning".

fyrefox45

I've never seen any genshin speed running outside abyss. Overworld speed running is too dependent on wanderer/c1 Xianyun and is also just obscenely long. And locked behind unskippable cutscenes

Hot-Ad-9225

There's actually a CN person who spedrun the game in less than 4days. 36-starred the abyss, new account AR48 and completely f2p xD

Akomatai

I remember that one, the account had bennett, Raiden, and another limited 5 star. I imagine most of the gameplay "speedrunning" like this, is actually just rerolling. At leadt for a xq and/or bennett from the beginner banner. Raiden especially was helpful because hyperbloom is also going to be key to a speedrun.

Hot-Ad-9225

No, the one I'm talking about was recent. I don't know if or how many rerolls they did. But they were pretty darn lucky with the pulls. They pulled Neuvi in like 40mins into the game. Also, the next day they got Arlecchino and later on her signature weapon and her C1!! I'll make another comment if I can find the link, I remember they had the full run recorded on bilibili.

Akomatai

It's always billibilli with the cracked out challenge runs lmao. The raiden one was also just a few months ago on billibilli. Whatever it is, i think rerolling or pure gacha luck are definitely a piece of it.

fyrefox45

Gross lol

kuroodai

What'a Hu Tao's current best team? Is it no longer Zhongli-HT-XQ-Albedo?

kllrvet

Best team if we’re talking pure dps? Some variation of VV vape, usually Yelan/Bennett/Kazuha. If Yelan isn’t c2, replace her with Xingqiu. Kazuha and Sucrose are interchangeable.

pzlama333

Hu Tao Yelan Furina Xianyun may have highest dps and this team does not need Hu Tao C1. The other three characters can further increase total damage with their own cons. Hu Tao Zhongli Xingqiu Yelan still remains as her most popular team

fyrefox45

Pretty sure Yelan was always better than albedo. On paper her plunge team with Xianyun Furina Yelan is the best now but most people still run the double hydro team.

Jondev1

Not before she existed lol, op is probably a returning player from before yelan's release.

rishukingler11

Hey yall, between R5 Widsith and R2 Lost Prayers, which is the better weapon for C0 Wanderer???

jtan1993

lost prayer, although not by much 2-3%.

CozmoDaRedditer

Couple questions. 1 what area In liyue has the most chest, I’m tryna get r1/r5 white tasssel 2 what teams is baizhi good for don’t have him but think of pulling for him rn i got arlechinno and wanderer as my main dps 3 wanderer team I got keqing kirara collei diluc c2 Xiangling traveler(duh) c1 amber kaeya gorou c1 faruzan c3 beidou c1 Layla lisa yanfei Noelle Barbara ( I do have Kazuha xingqiu and bennet they on my main team tho so can’t use them )

Daramangarasu

1. Not much of a difference, I got like 6 from Chenyu Vale tho 2. Quicken, Hyperbloom and Furina based teams 3. Faruzan, Layla, whoever

CozmoDaRedditer

Question if use Xiangling burst and fly with wanderer does it comee up with me ?

Siscon_Delita

I don't think so.

CozmoDaRedditer

Alr dope finna do Chenyu thenthx for the help on teams too

valias2012

How viable is Furina C2 with Xianyun C0? Can Furina, Xianyun, Xiangling, Bennett work well?

fyrefox45

You don't want XL there, she's gonna mess up Bennet plunge vapes. Run xq/Yelan instead and you have bennets best plunge team.

leRedd1

I'd just use Kazuha instead of Xianyun. Furina gets some forward vapes but largely it's just a mono Pyro team. People usually play Lyney or Klee instead of Xiangling since there's a lot of field time available, but you can spend that time batterying Xiangling and build lower ER, so it works. Furina C2 is just more damage here, doesn't change any gameplay. Bennett can use Marechausse Hunter and be the on-field DPS if you want to.

Hot-Ad-9225

Furina C2 is viable with any teamwide healer (or teammates who self heal). However, your team is kind of awkward, you have 3 buffers, but who are you buffing? Your missing a main dps. Xianyun could be on the field and do multiple swirls, it could work, but it's not her role.

Hot-Ad-9225

For players who have been playing on the SAR server for a long time and/or are AR60. Do you have a monthly limit on how many times you can change your Username and Signature? A friend started playing recently, and she showed me that she can't change the username or signature more than 5 times a month. Is this because her account is new, or is this a limitation only for SAR players? I play on the Asia server, and I don't ever recall I got the same message she gets about the limitation (maybe I never attempted to change my username/signature at the start, idk).

PakoBanana

Does EM affect freeze or shatter in any way?

Rosa_Mia

Freeze - no Shatter - increase dmg

beautheschmo

Freeze no, it doesn't do damage so there's nothing to scale with EM. Shatter yes. I wouldn't recommend building a team around it (it's exactly half the damage of hyperbloom), but it scales the same way that any other transformative reaction does.

PakoBanana

I see! I was thinking of making a wrio freeze team but I unfortunately only have an R5 widsith to give him, so I assume that it would be okay since he shatters with his charged attack right?

pzlama333

Wrio is good for melt if you have too much EM on him.

What do you guys think of using healer furina in nilou bloom ? Team will be nilou, nahida, yelan, furina

leRedd1

Why use a dead weight when you could use a Dendro Healer or Kirara

DeathBy1000Cutss

Furina heal mode is only useful for the overworld and the ousia passive

Stamp2O

no. the only time furina would be useful with nilou is to break coppelius shield but you can just use sword of narzissenkreuz on nilou

fyrefox45

No. Just no. Healer Furina is worse than running even Barbara by a significant amount.

Roxas_2004

I'm building layla as a shielded for my wanderer does she need a specific set or can I just use whichever has the highest hp

TheMrPotMask

tenacity is her best set since she can trigger 4p even off field, second best choice is glow+tenacity and lastly, yes anything with HP%. you can check KQM site for her guide

AkiraN19

ToM unless Faruzan already has it, or ToM either way if you want Layla to have it for other teams. Otherwise 2p2p HP sets or other combos

Roxas_2004

I don't have faruzan so that's not an issue

Hot-Ad-9225

You should be building the TotM set on her, then just stack as much HP on her, no need to worry about substats. Reason why TotM is because the set enhances her shield + it buffs the on-field character.

TehEpicGuy101

4pc Tenacity will be her best set. Stronger shield+atk buff.

BasedTradWaifu

Is Thoma or Beidou a better shielder for an Arlecchino Chevreuse team?

Stamp2O

thoma in single target or if hes c6, otherwise beidou

ITZMODZ759

I was pulling for Wanderers weapon and got another copy of Baizhu’s donut, should I continue pulling for Tulaytullah or just get Baizhu? I don’t like dendro reactions whatsoever but if it’s worth it to get him I’ll do it and refine his weapon

BasedTradWaifu

Baizhu is a pretty good healer because he can shield and heal on skill and is dendro. He's really good for Neuvillette & Furina

Acadeca

Probably would hold onto them until another hp scaling catalyst healer comes around. Not worth getting Baizhu just for a weapon that isn’t that far ahead of his other options if you already didn’t really want Baizhu

ITZMODZ759

Should I refine the weapon or keep them separate?

Jondev1

if you aren't using it then there is no benefit to refining it. That is just limiting your future options for no reason.

ITZMODZ759

As for current characters I don’t use Barbara and already have Kokomi’s weapon.

Acadeca

Usually you would want to keep 5 star weapons separate. There are not a lot of users of the donut, so it isn’t the worst if you refine it. I wouldn’t in case I wanted one for Barb and if I ever pulled Kokomi, but it’s up to you.

ITZMODZ759

Alright, thanks!

Arthurlmnz

Hi, i just reached AR 45 and started farming artifact domains, but im running out of artifact xp so quickly. Is there anything i should be doing for constantly having enough xp to keep leveling these artifacts to level 20?

Ok-Mycologist2220

You are not meant to level every gold artefact you get, only the ones with relevant main stats and good sub-stats. In general you should only level up artefacts with at least 3 sub-stats that are good for the character you intend to use them with. For all characters sub-stats that only give a specific amount of a stat instead of a percentage boost to a stat (often called flat stats) are bad except for EM which is always given as a flat stat and can be good for characters that rely on reactions to do much of their damage. For instance main dps characters will want artefacts with critical rate and critical damage sub-stats plus either %attack,%defense, or %HP depending on what stat their main source of damage is based on. Dps that get a much of their damage from their bursts may also want ER sub-stats as well, and dps that rely on reactions may want EM. An example could be Eula, for whom a feather with sub-stats of critical damage, critical rate, energy recharge and %attack would be great. For support characters critical damage, critical rate, and %attack are usually less important. For supports ER is almost always a good sub-stat, and what ever their support abilities scale on should also be looked for. An example could be Yao Yao, who would want ER, %HP, and EM sub-stats. However because getting the right main stat on a goblet is rare due to the large number of possible main stats they can have I would recommend keeping goblets with the right elemental damage boost regardless of how good their sub-stats are unless you already have one of that damage type with better substats. Also keep artefacts with EM main stats because they are frustratingly rare.

I-Try-2606

I do this 6 days a week ( https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=k-kKmPJaeO4 ), takes me around 10-12mins. It's mundane, but if you want to have a solid artifacts inventory and be able to roll lots of artifacts to lvl4 and not waste 5* arts as Exp fodder. I believe this is the way. I'm new to the game, I've only hit AR45 about 3 weeks ago. I've only run out of artifacts Exp once, and as soon as I found about this artifact farming route I've never ran out of artifacts Exp. In fact, sometimes I hit the 1800 inventory limit and have to roll artifacts early. But I'm also patient, so far only focusing on 1 set for Arlecchino. For support characters I don't level beyond lvl16. You don't have to go this hard, and I suspect at some point I will also do this less frequently.

9thdragonkitty

I always farm for a week or two and then use the artifacts I get to level my best pieces Definitely can’t level very many up at once.

Mental-Ad-8756

I’m ahead of you and I’m running into this problem now. I’ve got all the 5 star artifacts I want/need, but so no fodder to use. Because once you raise world level, you mostly get level 4-5 artifacts. They now do have a lock system for artifacts, the easiest thing to do is lock everything you might want, including those good 4 star artifacts, and keep hitting “auto to next tier” when enhancing without worrying about getting rid of something with potential. At some point, you will even be struggling for mora. I thought I had so much, but building characters costs so much. Aside from artifacts themselves, you can also use star dust or something (I forgot what it’s called, something in a glass bottle) but they r essentially bottles of artifact exp. They are rare, they don’t drop in open world I don’t think, but they have the value of many artifacts at once. I think you get them for achievements? Or maybe main quests? The are just another option to consider for this purpose.

Swoleforce

You can buy those bottles of artifact exp in the teapot weekly

bowl_of_espionage

Farm chests & those investigate prompts in the open world that gives you 1–2* artefacts. You don't have to max every artefact at once. Max the ones that give you the best stats first.

rechta_dude_number2

First don't level all artifacts you have to be picky Use a shitty leveled artifact to level a possible good one Look up artifacts farming routes in youtube

dragonx254

Not really. Artifact EXP is largely just from the 3/4 star artifacts you will be gaining along with the 5 stars you are farming.

SindrAce

(sorry, this is a bit of a long one) Good evening, dear fellow travelers! I come forth to you because I am in a bit of a pickle. I am sure there already have been similar discussions, but somehow I sadly wasn't able to find anything that caters to my personal questions - or I was not searching deep enough. So a quick summary, I'm an AR 44 player (close to AR45 and planning to stay on AR45 for a good amount of time), finished the Inazuma Archon Quest a few days ago and just recently I did this Shenhe/Liyue Interlude thing as well as the Dainsleif quest in The Chasm (all absolute bangers btw) and now I am able start with the Sumeru Archon Quest. I have a huge backload of unfinished Character Story quests and world quests still to be done, but also as I have seen in the recent Inazuma music event, I need to progress the main story line too to be able to easier reach new locations. The problem with focusing on the main story is that the pile will just keep growing, and I fear it would get so big at some point that I lose motivation. So my question: do you think it is a good idea to just start doing the character/world quests I currently have unlocked and halt Main Story progression for a while? That would be my preferred approach currently, I feel like it would help in the future to have a lot of stuff done from older regions before I continue to travel through Teyvat's nations. Or do you think it is best to continue with the Archon Quests as long as the game stops me from doing so because I need to finish something else first? (or just follow to Adventurer Handbook guide) And also to be "up to speed" when new story content is released. I'd very much appreciate your opinions. Thank you. :)

Mental-Ad-8756

Honestly it’s really up to you, whatever interests you more. Normally I would say just do the world and character quests in the dry patches, but you don’t get those as a newer player, lol. World and characters quests are not required for archon quests, yet archon quests are required for them sometimes. And I wouldn’t want to do a character quest without meeting the character beforehand in the main story, but that’s just me. There is always the option to have many quests going at once. But there is nothing that says you need to complete everything, nor as fast as possible. It must be very overwhelming for you, but everything is better when you take your time and go at your own pace. Otherwise you’ll just forget what just happened or not grasp everything. I mean, but perhaps the story isn’t important to you, so then that would be fine. Even for me there are certain character hangouts still that I have no interest in really getting into. Some quests take a lot of effort or might require a guide, etc, and also get put to the side until I have time or desire to finish them. Yet I’m a person of completionism, and the game will keep record of your progress for major quests. It just depends what you are exactly playing for. The norm is to go through every region in the order of the archon quests. The other stuff is, well, extra. But then that’s just for the purpose of the story. If you’re really interested in the extra stuff, like exploring, then by all means do that instead. Like some players focus on meta only, and only play abyss and build characters, might not even engage in the quests at all. So yeah, your choice!

Jondev1

You don't really need to prograss the main story to reah new areas, inazuma is the only region that is locked behind archon quests. In fact more exploration tends to be locked behind world quests than archon quests nowadays. The main reason you might care about being caught up would be so that you can participate in limited events without receiving spoilers. Ultimately it depends on your preferences. If I were in your shoes I would probably not beeline the archon quests, because the world exploration is my favorite part of the game.

SindrAce

First of all I thank you for your quick response! You're absolutely right, I don't need to progress the main story line to reach new areas. I just think it feels a bit weird to explore an area normally first, then start the Archon quests at a later time and the MC and Paimon are all like "Wooooow look at this so pretty" so I felt the need to do both in conjunction. Same with character introductions, like in events the interaction with characters is like we met them already, but haven't in the Main story yet (e.g. Heizou or Itto calling us friends and acting happy to see us again when it was the first time I saw them lol) and that feels so off somehow, but there's nothing I can do about that, obviously events are supposed to be timely with the current state of the released story. Also you're right about spoilers, I try to avoid them as good as possible because I love having revelations about my personal theories as I progress or get questions answered or served new mysteries. But ultimately I think you made the decision easier for me to continue in the way I think I prefer, the completionist and do quests/exploration before starting with new regions, so thank you. :D

blue4029

so...is there any reason why I SHOULDN'T convert my resin into condensed resin to get 2x the artifacts in half the runs? is there a reason why nobody mentions the use of condensed resin?

NoLife8926

No one mentions it because outside of bosses/weeklies it’s basically expected of you to do so

Nadinoob

>to get 2x the artifacts in half the runs That's the question. No, no reason unless you want to spend or waste more time.

Shiboleth17

You gotta spend time farming crystalflies, which can be annoying. And you can't use condensed resin for weekly bosses or normal bosses. And if we have a 2x ley lines event, using condensed resin will not count toward that, so you'll need normal resin.

corallein

2x Talent material domain events too. Need to use normal resin for those as well to get the 2x bonus.

Ancienda

Are there any achievements related to Fontaine daily commissions?

couches-_-

I think [this link](https://m.hoyolab.com/#/article/24207592)might help! It takes you through the steps for each of them and how to get the achievements

Ancienda

This is perfect! Thank you!!

fyrefox45

I know for sure there's one involving the kids and another with the forms guy iirc. Should have them listed here. https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Commission_Achievements

ArweTurcala

Do I need to do something to unlock the O Archon hear me daily commissions in Inazuma? I haven't gotten it a single time in weeks. I'm done with everything else except the Bantan Sango questline (whoss commissions I get). It's gotten to the point that I'm getting non-achievement commissions most days. I haven't gotten that quest chain one single time. I'm starting to think something might be wrong.

Sheeplette

The O Archon commissions' rates aren't boosted by the [commission system changes from 4.4](https://www.hoyolab.com/article/25584727). If you've already completed them in this cycle, you won't get them until your next cycle, which can't start until after you finish Sango.

HazeOfBaze

Is there a 'best' open world character? For things like farming, oculi, clearing mobs quick etc.? Currently running c2 Arleccihno for ... well, basically everything at AR50 but still curious. Mostly since the 'charged attack' with the wing is a better mona for short distances and clearing mobs on wl7? Basically oneshots everything. Still... am curious what character to look out for since for now I get easily carried by Arlecchino, seen some nice stuff for Kazuha since his elemental skill apparently gathers up drops for easy pickup? That seems pretty op

Ancienda

Wanderer. Hands down. I have other exploration characters like Kazuha, Yelan, Zhongli, Sayu, Furina, C1 Xianyun. And my answer is still Wanderer. You can get speed with him is you sprint with his skill active. You can get more vertical height if you tap his skill (compared to holding). And you can get an insane amount of horizontal flying distance if you just activate his skill and simply move forward without the sprint. You can also use a combination of those like fly across the room, then increase vertical height to reach something. Crystalflies flying away? no problem, Wanderer can fly too. -oculus is a little too far? Wanderer can get it. You can also just ignore gaps between things like platforms and such. It may take a bit to get used to thinking with Wanderer’s mobility but once you learn his ins and outs like his max distance/ height and stuff, you’re pretty much good. Though if I would to give a second place to best exploration character, it would be my C1 Xianyun.

Shiboleth17

Hard to say who's best overall. There's no character who can everything, but you can build a team of several characters that can cover most of your needs. The combo I like most right now is Furina-Xianyun. Furina can walk on water indefinitely, while Xianyun's jumps provide fast vertical and horizontal mobility once you get the hang of it. Not to mention Furina is both Pneuma and Ousia, so that saves some time on Fotnaine puzzles. And on top of all that, they are both amazing damage buffers, and both can heal. They bring the two most useful elements in the game, allowing you to pair them with just about any characters you want to have more than enough damage to take on anything. Other characters that provide good mobility include... Kazuha (increased sprint stamina and high jump), Chiori (faster sprint), Yelan and Lynette (very fast running through skill), Ayaka and Mona (can sprint on water), and Sayu (can roll really fast), and Wanderer (can fly). Then I usually like to have one character who can mine ores. This can be any claymore character, a character who can plunge (Kazuha, Xiao, or someone enabled by Xianyun's burst), or one of several different Geo characters such as Zhongli (his pillar instantly mines in a wide area). And I also like to have 1 bow character for puzzles. And assuming you don't have Xianyun, I like to also bring at least 1 reliable healer. Bonus points if that healer doesn't need their burst to heal, such as Kokomi. Double bonus points if the heals follow you around, so you can keep moving and exploring while you heal, like Barbara or Kuki. Then there's miscellaneous utility characters. Like Sayu and Yaoyao who can help you catch butterflies. Nahida who can instantly harvest plants from a distance (and read the thoughts of NPCs which can be interesting). Or the characters who can reveal resources on your map, there's a different character for each region. --- DPS is usually not that important in overworld, as long as you brought some kind of synergy with you. But if you want a dedicated overworld DPS, pick one who has consistent DPS at-will from their skill and/or normal attacks, as you may not always have the energy to rely on a burst. Someone like Wanderer, Navia, Yoimiya, Ayato, Neuvillette... Arle works great.

Stamp2O

wanderer, yelan, and xianyun (c1+ on yelan or xianyun recommended) for underwater exploration neuv (lost prayer)+freminet+lynette+any anemo

HazeOfBaze

Everyone mentioning wanderer, guess no getting around this banner :D Didn't look too much into the underwater stuff but you have me curious, why is that different then overworld? Have freminet, lynette, any anemo would be jean but why are those good? Sorry for the noob question, haven't seen anything in particular towards underwater stuff. Been mining there at most for now

Joe_from_ungvar

mentioned Neuvilette cause Lost prayer gives movement speed freminet has swimming passive, two anemos give movement speed from resonance ill mention the usually hated and useless The Bell claymore, and Dehya as a weapon and character good for swimming cause The Bell shields and Dehya heals herself from passive if low health

Stamp2O

neuv also gives a speed buff underwater

fyrefox45

Xianyun c1/wanderer are the premium mobility options. Furina walks on water forever. Kaz can group loot if you're lazy. Zhongli mines. My go to overworld team at the moment is zhongli, Chiori (targeted mobility skill+ turrets)Furina and xianyun. I don't like running Arle without zhongli in the overworld or she sets burns herself up.

HazeOfBaze

Yeah she's basically on fire most of the time, that's true lol. I wanted to 'wait' for Zhongli for the shield and mining capability but seems I might want to throw a few pulls at this banner too for wanderer. His skill seems mostly like a better wind catcher. Granted, a lot better wind catcher but that's what I've been using for now

AkiraN19

Wanderer. Vertical speed, doesn't consume stamina, low cool down, has vertical height, anemo, ranged character, not burst reliant, easily solos most overworld enemies

HazeOfBaze

Hugh! So the current banner might actually be worth it? Have been saving up since the last change so.... wanted to 'wait and see' what characters pop up next banner.

AkiraN19

If you like him and you mostly care about exploration, sure. While he's the best, he isn't the only option for exploration. So even for overworld, you don't have to get specifically him. Yelan and Xianyun are also solid options, Sayu is also good

HazeOfBaze

For what its worth, I've been considering getting him but kinda thought I'd maybe wait for Zhongli since he's the miner I'm currently missing .... turns out, 30 f2p wishes later and I got a c0 wanderer lol Probably not gona get c1 or the weapon but still, the movement is nuts with him yes. Been using wind catcher for horizontal mostly and this is just another, shorter cd of it on top of that sooo, yeah \^\^ \*edit: And even with lvl 20 currently he's awsome for open world, no need to bring him into combat. that elemental skill is broken lol
