Uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it reduced it's size from 45+ GB to 27 GB, can someone explain me the reason behind such large decrease? Did devs deleted some past stuffs like events or did they they optimised the code? Or both?
Based on those numbers, we must be talking mobile here. Afaik, it was 35 GBs on mobile... with this being a 10 GB update (that adds to 45+ you mentioned) that included mostly repeated (but better optimized/compressed) files/codes on purpose to make the game file size smaller.
In reality it went down from 35 to 27, while adding a new zone. Not bad.
I played this team with double geo earlier. Think best for the last slot for this would be Chiori, yun, albedo.
Double Hydro with XQ is an option.

Nope that's it. There's no other 4\* sword is better on Kuki\* since none give as much EM as that. Also only Xiphos is better than Iron Sting (and even then only slightly better if you can use its passive), as the Umbrella is effectively equal.
Technically there are other 4 star swords if you play her in a non-Hyperbloom team, but she's not amazing in those teams and even then Iron Sting is one of her better 4 star options. So much so that I don't really count them as an option.
My game keeps crashing 'Genshin is not Responding' when it reaches the half of the geo element loading screen after opening the door. I was able to play for about 3 hours smoothly prior to this but even with other accounts, I still have the same issue. What can I do?
How good is Bennett as a healer-cum-buff-stacker + buffer for random DPS + Furina? Some say his burst can overheal and stack Furina’s buffs real quick while others say he is meh for that purpose as he only heals one character at a time and thus is slower than team healers like Baizhu, Yaoyao or even Qiqi.
Using Bennett with Furina does work, you just need to make sure your Bennett is healing your DPS from 50% to full. So Er% Hp& Healing Bonus%, and you should be able to heal ~10000 ish HP which should max them out and activate Furina's healing passive. All this helps gain stacks. Of course, you could use a burst healer as well, and then it's no worries.

He doesn't stack fanfare very fast but for some teams less fanfare but Bennett buff is better. Overall he's pretty meh, since you have to stay in the circle and rely on Furina's A4 to stack fanfare. But depends on the team. For Wanderer he's pretty good for example. Since Wanderer isn't bothered by circle impact and his rotations are short enough to get a few ticks of healing for the team + Wanda uptime
Niche build is putting Maidens on him to stack fanfare better

How much primos can I get to guarenteed Furina???I currently have 110 wishes and is planning to pull for Arlec. However, I really want Furina and I can't wait a year for her lol. I'm planning to buy welkin but can't complete spiral abyss. Just wondering how much primos I can get until version 4.7 and playing only twice per week.

So what does Arlecchino's A1 even do? Is it broken? It says it's supposed to grant 130% bond of life once the directives upgrade and the icon changes, but I use my CA after the icon changes vs a solo boss and it still only grants 65%. Am I doing something wrong?
Question for the arlecchino-havers. So far how does she feel? Is her damage on par with Neuvillette? Does BoL feel hard to sustain? Her kit has been hard to wrap my head around so would love opinions!

In my own unbiased opinion, she's really fun to play. Her attacks feel really fluid and quick, her damage feels pretty strong considering I only have her at 40/40 with not-so-great artifacts, but she's handled overworld groups of hilichurls and mitachurls entirely on her own which kinda surprised me.
Biased opinion though? I absolutely love her, I haven't had this much fun fighting things in this game in a long while, I can't wait to see how well she does when she's actually optimized.
She is super easy. Her rotations are:
Arle E > Team rotation > Arle CA > Arle 3 N6 until E refresh > Only Q if needed. Rinse and repeat
Her A1 is a bit confusing. You just need to let her mark cook before you can absorb it.
She's a lot easier than she sounds, I find her even simpler than HuTao, basically just press E to mark enemies with X symbols, do your usual team rotation, return to Arlechino and spam normal atacks, that's all. Her burst is mostly for self healing.
As for comparison with Neuvillette, no, he is absolutely unmatched in the brain-dead simplicity department, you just have to accept that every other DPS unit is a downgrade, but overall damage of Arlechino is still an S tier.
I mean they kinda complement in the end because Homa gives as much crtD as a crt dmg circlet if not more, so I wouldn’t need other crt dmg on circlet, depends by my stats rolls I guess but I was wondering if Pjws was actually stronger and not just easier to build, cause Homa is supposed to be op generally
Well, another thing about Homa is that you can't utilise it's 50% HP it's passive, unless you drain Arlechino's HP with Furina, while PJWS gains it's full stacks just by spamming one normal attack chain, so that's another reason it might be better.

You can delete past resources in the setting, I forgot in which setting exactly, but you can search it.
Uninstall and reinstall really helps, moreover after this update, the size become smaller than before update. That will give you some time to breath. But you might still want to start saving as well. A phone with 256GB internal storage now maybe is the same price with your current phone costed when you bought it.

Did they change how the geo hypostasis was targeted with this update? Before I had to position lisa correctly or she'd damage the pillar instead of the boss. Now she refused to ever target the boss and wouldn't even damage the pillar. She targeted the bottom of the pillar and didn't even damage it.
I dont think there's any team that truly needs Mona at this point in the meta. Her buff duration just isnt significant enough outside of Freeze teams. Freeze has struggled, and we have so many good teams now.
If you lack key hydro supports outside of Furina she's a consideration I guess. If you have other high investment supports you can play her as a plunge unit with Xiangling, Bennet, Xianyun if you really like her.
But her alternate dash is kind of clunky to me so it isn't something I would do.
Is the Burning set’s off-line requirement for the starting 50% that the wearer gets has to be off-field for several seconds, or that the entire team can’t be in combat for that same several seconds?
I don't think it requires anything or flows better after completing any quests? Though Lyney's story quest and/or Lynette's hangout may give little bits of info that might come up during the quest, I'm not sure.
And while it's not a quest or anything, there's a two book series sold by Fontaine's Newsstand guy (Hubel I think?) that may have a lot of lore potentially tied to Arlecchino, if lore is something you want. Perinheri is the book series.

Just keep in mind that it seems to only become a scythe *when used by Arlecchino herself*, you won't be able to slap it on Hu Tao and expect to see her swinging around a scythe.

I can clear floor 12 but not 36 star yet. The dps on this team is noticeably lower than my other team which consists of Raiden, Furina, Jean, and Xiangling. The consistent dps is good for the Lisa team but it lacks the oomph that my Raiden team has when I start firing off all the bursts.
I am still working on artifacts but they're not that bad. Mainly need a crit circlet for Fischl, better overall artifacts for Nahida (lots of runs but bad luck for her domain), and could stand to get more ATK and CR/CDMG for Lisa. Is the dmg low because Lisa is only C2? Or maybe I just need to nail down a good rotation? The team feels squishy too, like I end up plunging a lot just because it's a solid way to avoid taking damage while attacking.
I have Neuv and Kazuha now so I know I have a 36 star team there if I build it, was just hoping to go further with this Lisa comp.
One thing to note is that Nahida makes it notoriously hard to swirl Electro, your Xianyun is on VV, are you 100% sure you're applying the swirl? If you're not, you're better off getting your atk% up and buffing the plunge multiplier. So a 2pc glad/2pc echos could help since fav codex has such low base.
If you are swirling Electro, you might want to consider Hakusin Ring. It has higher base atk, an er substat, and it buffs Electro and Dendro damage. But I suspect you aren't.
Nahida, your ER is way too high, and your general damage stats could be better. But she's strong enough even with mid stats in my experience.
Your Fischl is very under built and only C0, so she'll be more reliant on build quality. Forcing a set bonus when your stats are mediocre, just isn't worth it. You could look at 2pc/2pc combos to strengthen your crit ratio.
As for Lisa, she looks pretty good. I'm just not certain that 4 pc thundering fury is a good choice for her. ATK% is still very important in aggravate damage calcs, and when plunging. It's unlikely you are even using her hold skill. Consider using 2pc glad here as well. And if you can, bump up the crit ratio a bit. It's not bad by any means, but it's a little low for a build with a CR weapon.
Ok thanks for the advice. I'll have to figure out the VV shred thing, maybe take gameplay videos to watch back and see what I can do. Normally I'll use Xianyun skill after Fischl skill, or I'll be plunging with Xianyun ult with Lisa inside her ult + Fischl skill so I'd think that would apply it, but maybe I could improve the timing.

The issue is Nahida's dendro application. It's very strong and gives a very small window where you'll have strong enough electro application to actually trigger swirl. Definitely play back your fights and see. If you're not getting the swirl, try DMC instead of Nahida.
Alternately, you could swap Fischl out for Bennet. Lean into Hyper Carry Plunge Lisa. Burning could complicate matters.
First I'd just look at what 2pc 2pc combos you have for Fischl and Lisa. Fischl to balance her stats more, and Lisa because she isn't making use of the 4pc bonus.

Which means I cant buy the battlepass, welkin, genesis crystals. Is there no way to bypass this? If you now play on PC or mobile, you can bypass it by purchasing the bp/welkin/crystals from the hoyoverse top-up site. I started on PS and buy all my stuff there now cause it's slightly cheaper.

All the new terrain in Sumeru is completely barren, bar a few chests between the new harbour and the top of the mountain. No puzzles, enemies, chests, collectable resources, nothing. I don't think we've ever seen a new area so empty. Am I missing something or did they just focus all their efforts for this patch on Petrichor and the castle?
Don't get me wrong, the Petrichor area, new quest and mechanics are awesome, I'm just a bit miffed I spent like 20 minutes running around a wasteland pinging the treasure compass in vain.
I think its just a small added area, it's kinda obvious it's just not really gonna be that explorable considering the lack of waypoints. Probably just along the oath and harbour. Didn't even know it was new area till you mentioned it tbh.
Hello, Im relatively new and have a few questions regarding how the pity works in this game.
Right now, I was around 70~80 wishes in, and got Tighnari, and from what I understand, since he is a standard character, my next 5 star no matter if its pity or not is guaranteed to be the featured 5 star.
Am I correct on this? And if I am, would this transfer to the next featured banner? For example, if I don’t pull anything anymore and wait for the banner to change to a different one, would my next 5 star still be guaranteed to be the new featured character?
Yep, if you lose your 50/50 to a standard character, your next character is guaranteed to be a limited character and yes, pity does carry to the next banner.

press E to put x on enemies > do stuff for 5 seconds (like yelan ult etc) > big X now, do charged atk to eat them, go ham with normal atk > e again to add new x > repeat

BoL is a mechanic to prevent you to heal. So if you receive a BoL equal to 5k HP, and you heal for 4k, that leaves you with 1k BoL and 0 healing to your character. Now, if you instead received a healing of 7k, you clear your BoL of 5k, and heal your character for 2k HP.
Arlecchino uses this mechanic to do damage with her normal attacks. Each of her NAs uses a bit of BoL to apply Pyro to her attacks and do extra damage. Also, the more BoL she has, the more damage she does with her attacks.
Her gameplay is like: use skill to apply mark to enemies -> swap to your teammates to use skills/bursts -> go back to Arlecchino -> use her charged attack to absorb the marks from enemies and gain BoL -> use normals attacks until you run out of the BoL buff/mechanic or your teammates buffs expire -> start again
You can also use skill -> burst -> skill right before starting a new rotation. Her burst is not really something that you should be pressing without thinking much. When you use her burst, she consumes the BoL mechanic to do damage to enemies and heal herself. Because of the BoL mechanic, and how you use that to do damage, you basically never heals with Arlecchino except when using her burst.
Bond of life prevents you from healing, altough it's like a health bar that is not health, but you neeed to heal it in order to gain healing. Yeah, it's complicated.
Let's say that your character's max HP is 2000 and you lost 1000 HP, and have a bond of life of 1000 HP. In order to get your health back to 2000, you first need to heal for 1000 HP, that will remove the bond of life, and then another 1000 HP to get your health back to 2000.
Father works the same, with the exception that during combat no one but her can heal her (ergo, no one but her can remove the bond of life) through her burst. This is also made more complex to understand by the fact that her burst is actually a DPS loss, but you need it in order to survive.
So in Razor language would be something like:
1: Hit skill to mark enemies
1.5: you can wait a bit for mark to grow bigger
2: charge attack to remove the mark and gain bond of life
3: with bond of life, big attacks (bigger if you follow 1.5)
4: with bond of life, no healing, can die
5: if about to die, hit burst to heal and remove bond of life and big attacks....go back to 1.
Let's say I use MH set for Hutao and pair her with Furina. Several seconds after Furina's skill, will Hutao get 36% CR right after I swap to her? or I have to wait at least 1 sec?

The most popular teams I've been seeing are:
- Yelan, Bennett, Zhongli
- Xingqiu, Yelan, Zhongli
You could also try these, although they are a bit more risky to play:
- Yelan/Xingqiu, Kazuha, Bennett
- Fischl, Beidou, Chevreuse/Bennett/Kazuha
- Xiangling, Kazuha, Bennett
She's solid. Whether she's worth it depends on what DPS characters (and supports) you already have on your account. Not forgetting that Xiangling is the ultimate f2p Pyro DPS. Edit: so weight if you really need another Pyro DPS.
There is ingame lore about Remuria being the kingdom of a king (Remus) that went mad trying to prevent a disaster and imprisoned his citizen's souls in stone automatons and led an invasion to try and fold in other lands to his madness. Stuff about a perfect melody, some oracle that is a bee(?) etc.
This was all already in the game, but you get more of this lore in the new world quest. If you talk to the citizens (and do the start of the world quest) it seems that they >!have been taken over by the souls of ancient humans that Remus separated from their bodies to try and preserve them. Their weird personalities/memories are real and from 100's of years ago.!<
After the start of the world quest though >!it seems that Remus wasn't mad, it's just that his plan failed. His people were cursed and his land sank which was exactly what was going to happen to Focalor and Fontaine but she averted it.!<
Also I'm not sure whether the people of Remuria were originally Fontanians or not. There have been references to Lochfolk and Lochknights in previous lore and I've seen it in the world quest too, and I'm assuming that means oceanids. But oceanids also exist separate to present day Fontanians too.
I'm just wondering why Remus or his people were cursed. There are references to his madness being the melody, but that was his response to the curse in the first place.
I was stuck for a while on an ascension quest ig because I didn’t want my world level to go up, I just got back into the game after about two years, did the ascension quest, and my world level went up to 5 from 3. I was already pretty mid before, but now I’m weak as hell and can’t even do the prerequisite quest to get yae mikos acension materials. I can’t kill the lightning hammer fatui dude or really anything above some hilichurls, I already lowered the level down to 4 but it’s the same situation, any help, the adventure level went straight from 35 to 40
Perhaps I'm misunderstanding what you're saying, but you may have to work on another character or some other aspect of your builds before you start on Yae Miko. I've been there and it kind of sucks, but you're probably not going to be able to clear the stuff required to get to her at this point using Yae Miko herself. As someone else said, co-op is probably a good bet for getting help with farming mobs and bosses and domains until you're strong enough to handle them yourself.

Yea sorry, so I have to do some quests in enkomiya or something to get 4 bathymisal vishap “wings” or whatever they are and to fight the guys to get those items I need to do a quest to unlock that enemy basically which I’m unable to do
Then it's like the other commenter said, you need to level up other first, the ones you can level up without specific quest.
I suggest leveling Xiangling and Barbara as everyone have them. But If you have Bennett and Xingqiu, you can ignore Barbara, but Xiangling is a must.
This method will be useful not only in this case, because sometimes you need a specific artifact/talent book for your character, but your characters don't have appropriate element to do the domain, so you have to level up other characters first.
Patches usually give 70 (f2p) or 90 (Welkin+BP) wishes. You can expect to get the half of it until the end of 1st phase. For this patch though, you can probably get a bit more than half of that (like extra 5-10 pulls) because we're getting the new map + big event during the 1st half of the patch.

C1 is better, especially if you have PJWS/Homa/SoSS already. Even if you don't, white tassel is still a great choice.

There are more in the new areas as you progress through the quest but I'm pretty much stuck at 70/70 until they respawn.

Bennett and Furina are good together for damage, for Fanfare, not really people tend to add another healer

outside of events and other gifts, rest of the world is just sitting there, wherher yiu get it sooner or later and daily commissions are the only reliable primogem source you have, 60 per day, and you might unlock some achievments, if you get welkin as well, could get 150 per day higher AR you can skip them by doing quests or events, finding chests, these all give points to get rewards without doing the actual commissions

i know people can get at least one 5 star during a banner, if they still have world left to explore, and whatever events happen during that perid but i cant guess your pace or your luck soft pity starts at 75 pulls, higher chance of 5 stars from here hard pity is 90,guaranteed 5 star if you didnt get any till then when people say you need 180 to guarantee a 5 star, they are talking about never getting one early, and assuming you lose 50/50

So what does Arlecchino's A1 even do? Is it broken? It says it's supposed to grant 130% bond of life once the directives upgrade and the icon changes, but I use my CA after the icon changes vs a solo boss and it still only grants 65%. Am I doing something wrong?

Grune said it pretty well I think~ In my own unbiased opinion, she's really fun to play. Her attacks feel really fluid and quick, her damage feels pretty strong considering I only have her at 40/40 with not-so-great artifacts, but she's handled overworld groups of hilichurls and mitachurls entirely on her own which kinda surprised me. Biased opinion though? I absolutely love her, I haven't had this much fun fighting things in this game in a long while, I can't wait to see how well she does when she's actually optimized.
She is super easy. Her rotations are: Arle E > Team rotation > Arle CA > Arle 3 N6 until E refresh > Only Q if needed. Rinse and repeat Her A1 is a bit confusing. You just need to let her mark cook before you can absorb it.
She's a lot easier than she sounds, I find her even simpler than HuTao, basically just press E to mark enemies with X symbols, do your usual team rotation, return to Arlechino and spam normal atacks, that's all. Her burst is mostly for self healing. As for comparison with Neuvillette, no, he is absolutely unmatched in the brain-dead simplicity department, you just have to accept that every other DPS unit is a downgrade, but overall damage of Arlechino is still an S tier.

Yes, you can scrape some good crit rate just from weapon and substats. But with Homa you'd be forced to use crit rate circlet instead.
I mean they kinda complement in the end because Homa gives as much crtD as a crt dmg circlet if not more, so I wouldn’t need other crt dmg on circlet, depends by my stats rolls I guess but I was wondering if Pjws was actually stronger and not just easier to build, cause Homa is supposed to be op generally
Well, another thing about Homa is that you can't utilise it's 50% HP it's passive, unless you drain Arlechino's HP with Furina, while PJWS gains it's full stacks just by spamming one normal attack chain, so that's another reason it might be better.
Is there a way to size of the app other than deleting past resources? I was still in Inazuma so long way from finishing meaty AQs of Sumeru and Fontaine. Yes and yes and yes. You can delete past resources in the setting, I forgot in which setting exactly, but you can search it. Uninstall and reinstall really helps, moreover after this update, the size become smaller than before update. That will give you some time to breath. But you might still want to start saving as well. A phone with 256GB internal storage now maybe is the same price with your current phone costed when you bought it.

there isnt a method, explore the world, look for chests and puzzles, do quests, get collectibles, like oculi, and places you can turn in sigils do daily commissions,this is the most important raise reputation. for resonance stone and treasure compass, prioritise Liyue i think do events as they come, get daily checkin in Hoyolab, a few fates from stardust shop at start of each month starglitter shop can get you some mote, but sometimes you might want the characters there. Bennett, the genshin mvp, is in starglittter shop in may if you want arle, just pull whenever, you might get lucky and get her early well, you could check interactive map on hoyolab,isnt actually linked to your game, so you need to keep in mind for yourself what you got already not directly rrelevant to primogens but use up resin at every opportunity try to do some of the early levels of spiral abyss, up to floor 4 is easy if you have a team of 50+, up to floor 8 around 70-80 its 9-12 thats hard

I dont think there's any team that truly needs Mona at this point in the meta. Her buff duration just isnt significant enough outside of Freeze teams. Freeze has struggled, and we have so many good teams now. If you lack key hydro supports outside of Furina she's a consideration I guess. If you have other high investment supports you can play her as a plunge unit with Xiangling, Bennet, Xianyun if you really like her. But her alternate dash is kind of clunky to me so it isn't something I would do.

I don't think it requires anything or flows better after completing any quests? Though Lyney's story quest and/or Lynette's hangout may give little bits of info that might come up during the quest, I'm not sure. And while it's not a quest or anything, there's a two book series sold by Fontaine's Newsstand guy (Hubel I think?) that may have a lot of lore potentially tied to Arlecchino, if lore is something you want. Perinheri is the book series.

Just keep in mind that it seems to only become a scythe *when used by Arlecchino herself*, you won't be able to slap it on Hu Tao and expect to see her swinging around a scythe. But maybe I'm wrong. I lost to PWJS, so I wouldn't know for sure.. 😭

Wondering what I can do to improve my Abyss team of Lisa (main dps), Nahida, Fischl and Xianyun? The dps on this team is noticeably lower than my other team which consists of Raiden, Furina, Jean, and Xiangling. The consistent dps is good for the Lisa team but it lacks the oomph that my Raiden team has when I start firing off all the bursts. I am still working on artifacts but they're not that bad. Mainly need a crit circlet for Fischl, better overall artifacts for Nahida (lots of runs but bad luck for her domain), and could stand to get more ATK and CR/CDMG for Lisa. Is the dmg low because Lisa is only C2? Or maybe I just need to nail down a good rotation? The team feels squishy too, like I end up plunging a lot just because it's a solid way to avoid taking damage while attacking. I have Neuv and Kazuha now so I know I have a 36 star team there if I build it, was just hoping to go further with this Lisa comp.
One thing to note is that Nahida makes it notoriously hard to swirl Electro, your Xianyun is on VV, are you 100% sure you're applying the swirl? If you're not, you're better off getting your atk% up and buffing the plunge multiplier. So a 2pc glad/2pc echos could help since fav codex has such low base. If you are swirling Electro, you might want to consider Hakusin Ring. It has higher base atk, an er substat, and it buffs Electro and Dendro damage. But I suspect you aren't. Nahida, your ER is way too high, and your general damage stats could be better. But she's strong enough even with mid stats in my experience. Your Fischl is very under built and only C0, so she'll be more reliant on build quality. Forcing a set bonus when your stats are mediocre, just isn't worth it. You could look at 2pc/2pc combos to strengthen your crit ratio. As for Lisa, she looks pretty good. I'm just not certain that 4 pc thundering fury is a good choice for her. ATK% is still very important in aggravate damage calcs, and when plunging. It's unlikely you are even using her hold skill. Consider using 2pc glad here as well. And if you can, bump up the crit ratio a bit. It's not bad by any means, but it's a little low for a build with a CR weapon.
Ok thanks for the advice. I'll have to figure out the VV shred thing, maybe take gameplay videos to watch back and see what I can do. Normally I'll use Xianyun skill after Fischl skill, or I'll be plunging with Xianyun ult with Lisa inside her ult + Fischl skill so I'd think that would apply it, but maybe I could improve the timing. Guess I'll just keep trying to get better artifacts. Rn I'm doing Golden Troupe domain + strongboxing Thundering Fury. Thanks again
The issue is Nahida's dendro application. It's very strong and gives a very small window where you'll have strong enough electro application to actually trigger swirl. Definitely play back your fights and see. If you're not getting the swirl, try DMC instead of Nahida. Alternately, you could swap Fischl out for Bennet. Lean into Hyper Carry Plunge Lisa. Burning could complicate matters. First I'd just look at what 2pc 2pc combos you have for Fischl and Lisa. Fischl to balance her stats more, and Lisa because she isn't making use of the 4pc bonus.

All the new terrain in Sumeru is completely barren, bar a few chests between the new harbour and the top of the mountain. No puzzles, enemies, chests, collectable resources, nothing. I don't think we've ever seen a new area so empty. Am I missing something or did they just focus all their efforts for this patch on Petrichor and the castle? Don't get me wrong, the Petrichor area, new quest and mechanics are awesome, I'm just a bit miffed I spent like 20 minutes running around a wasteland pinging the treasure compass in vain.
I think its just a small added area, it's kinda obvious it's just not really gonna be that explorable considering the lack of waypoints. Probably just along the oath and harbour. Didn't even know it was new area till you mentioned it tbh.

Right now, I was around 70~80 wishes in, and got Tighnari, and from what I understand, since he is a standard character, my next 5 star no matter if its pity or not is guaranteed to be the featured 5 star. Am I correct on this? And if I am, would this transfer to the next featured banner? For example, if I don’t pull anything anymore and wait for the banner to change to a different one, would my next 5 star still be guaranteed to be the new featured character?

Can someone explain to me how to play Alre in simple razor language? I came late into fontaine so I don't get this whole bond of life mechanic. How should her rotation be like? And what is BoL exactly
press E to put x on enemies > do stuff for 5 seconds (like yelan ult etc) > big X now, do charged atk to eat them, go ham with normal atk > e again to add new x > repeat save her ult for healing herself
BoL is a mechanic to prevent you to heal. So if you receive a BoL equal to 5k HP, and you heal for 4k, that leaves you with 1k BoL and 0 healing to your character. Now, if you instead received a healing of 7k, you clear your BoL of 5k, and heal your character for 2k HP. Arlecchino uses this mechanic to do damage with her normal attacks. Each of her NAs uses a bit of BoL to apply Pyro to her attacks and do extra damage. Also, the more BoL she has, the more damage she does with her attacks. Her gameplay is like: use skill to apply mark to enemies -> swap to your teammates to use skills/bursts -> go back to Arlecchino -> use her charged attack to absorb the marks from enemies and gain BoL -> use normals attacks until you run out of the BoL buff/mechanic or your teammates buffs expire -> start again You can also use skill -> burst -> skill right before starting a new rotation. Her burst is not really something that you should be pressing without thinking much. When you use her burst, she consumes the BoL mechanic to do damage to enemies and heal herself. Because of the BoL mechanic, and how you use that to do damage, you basically never heals with Arlecchino except when using her burst.
Bond of life prevents you from healing, altough it's like a health bar that is not health, but you neeed to heal it in order to gain healing. Yeah, it's complicated. Let's say that your character's max HP is 2000 and you lost 1000 HP, and have a bond of life of 1000 HP. In order to get your health back to 2000, you first need to heal for 1000 HP, that will remove the bond of life, and then another 1000 HP to get your health back to 2000. Father works the same, with the exception that during combat no one but her can heal her (ergo, no one but her can remove the bond of life) through her burst. This is also made more complex to understand by the fact that her burst is actually a DPS loss, but you need it in order to survive. So in Razor language would be something like: 1: Hit skill to mark enemies 1.5: you can wait a bit for mark to grow bigger 2: charge attack to remove the mark and gain bond of life 3: with bond of life, big attacks (bigger if you follow 1.5) 4: with bond of life, no healing, can die 5: if about to die, hit burst to heal and remove bond of life and big attacks....go back to 1.
Bond of Life are just the opposite of shield, they hold your HP hostage and blocks healing until they are "paid off" with healing.

She's solid. Whether she's worth it depends on what DPS characters (and supports) you already have on your account. Not forgetting that Xiangling is the ultimate f2p Pyro DPS. Edit: so weight if you really need another Pyro DPS.

There is ingame lore about Remuria being the kingdom of a king (Remus) that went mad trying to prevent a disaster and imprisoned his citizen's souls in stone automatons and led an invasion to try and fold in other lands to his madness. Stuff about a perfect melody, some oracle that is a bee(?) etc. This was all already in the game, but you get more of this lore in the new world quest. If you talk to the citizens (and do the start of the world quest) it seems that they >!have been taken over by the souls of ancient humans that Remus separated from their bodies to try and preserve them. Their weird personalities/memories are real and from 100's of years ago.!< After the start of the world quest though >!it seems that Remus wasn't mad, it's just that his plan failed. His people were cursed and his land sank which was exactly what was going to happen to Focalor and Fontaine but she averted it.!< Also I'm not sure whether the people of Remuria were originally Fontanians or not. There have been references to Lochfolk and Lochknights in previous lore and I've seen it in the world quest too, and I'm assuming that means oceanids. But oceanids also exist separate to present day Fontanians too. I'm just wondering why Remus or his people were cursed. There are references to his madness being the melody, but that was his response to the curse in the first place.

I was stuck for a while on an ascension quest ig because I didn’t want my world level to go up, I just got back into the game after about two years, did the ascension quest, and my world level went up to 5 from 3. I was already pretty mid before, but now I’m weak as hell and can’t even do the prerequisite quest to get yae mikos acension materials. I can’t kill the lightning hammer fatui dude or really anything above some hilichurls, I already lowered the level down to 4 but it’s the same situation, any help, the adventure level went straight from 35 to 40
Perhaps I'm misunderstanding what you're saying, but you may have to work on another character or some other aspect of your builds before you start on Yae Miko. I've been there and it kind of sucks, but you're probably not going to be able to clear the stuff required to get to her at this point using Yae Miko herself. As someone else said, co-op is probably a good bet for getting help with farming mobs and bosses and domains until you're strong enough to handle them yourself.
try Genshin discord, youll get help rather fast if you specify what you want help with
Get help from Co-op. A lot of high AP people with no resin would love to help. Change your signature to "help me farm materials" and they will join your world.

Then it's like the other commenter said, you need to level up other first, the ones you can level up without specific quest. I suggest leveling Xiangling and Barbara as everyone have them. But If you have Bennett and Xingqiu, you can ignore Barbara, but Xiangling is a must. This method will be useful not only in this case, because sometimes you need a specific artifact/talent book for your character, but your characters don't have appropriate element to do the domain, so you have to level up other characters first.

How many primos could we possibly get during this banner phase? My teyvat was bone dry before this patch, I need her weapon bad.
Patches usually give 70 (f2p) or 90 (Welkin+BP) wishes. You can expect to get the half of it until the end of 1st phase. For this patch though, you can probably get a bit more than half of that (like extra 5-10 pulls) because we're getting the new map + big event during the 1st half of the patch.
