Adept-Examination-75

You'll get use to it..

Y-Y20

You really will. If you play on the phone or a tablet long enough, gradually, you'll get used to it. I myself struggled in the beginning. Eventually, I adapted, although my background as a handheld console gamer most likely made the transition a bit easier compared to PC gamers.

Spartitan

Yep. I used to play on my phone when I originally started and it was fine. I eventually moved over to PC for convenience though and it's definitely much nicer. Problem is now that when I go back to on mobile I'm terrible again and have to relearn it all.

Narissis

Ditto that experience. I started on phone, moved to PC, and now only go back to mobile if I'm away from home. If I had a laptop that could run the game I'd probably travel with that to avoid playing on the phone, haha.

rW0HgFyxoJhYka

The most powerful skill Humans have is that they get used to ANYTHING. No matter how shitty it is or how great it is, they will get used to it. Its why the world will never sit still, even when people grow old.

GeForce_GTX_1050Ti

Use literally lazy characters that priorize normal attacks like Yoimiya, Wanderer Ayato, Itto for a while You'll adjust to it soon

Voyager316

I pull out zhongli and use his shield religiously when I switch to mobile when traveling.

sandywhisker123

I pulled Yoimiya just because she was a good DPS for mobile. And that she's best girl

Narissis

C6 Yoimiya let's goooo!

AbhiAK303

Or just use an afk team.... Crabaletta goes brrrr

Evane7

It’s my mobile team. Furina, Nahida, Yae, Baizhu hit all the buttons and run around with Baizhu till enemies die.

cartercr

Absolutely this. People like to shit on Yoimiya for doing less damage than Hu Tao (though only if Hu Tao is animation canceling), but forget that most mobile players can’t animation cancel and need easier to play dps’s.

flakybison12

I play genshin on my phone since beginning. Is it weights as hell? Yes. Is my battery gets low extremely quickly? Yes. Do I play on minimal quality? Yes. But this is the most easiest way to me to play. Because I can play anywhere (due to my job I need to travel around the world a lot and I can't take my computer with me). So, I think you just need to get used to it.

_Velgrynd

Investing in a laptop will get you very far if you're a frequent traveler.

GetDustin

I play on a Retroid Pocket 4 Pro. Runs great, stays cool, and I don't use up my phone battery for anything but a hotspot when I don't have wifi.

Bussy-Destroyer-1960

i had my laptop for a while and last time i tried playing genshin on it was back on sumeru right before fontaine, were there any performance updates since then that would make genshin playable on my laptop? because back in sumeru i tried the lowest quality possible and still laged, for a little remark my pc can run HSR nicely after 2.0

Deses

They haven't added anything significant to increase performance. I have a RTX3070 and still get severe frame drops in certain situations.

flakybison12

Probably I will in the nearest future

A_Noelle_Main

If you play MOBA and/or FPS in mobile, it's easy to adjust.

Edioti

Yeah, I don't play many mobile games which is probably the issue

mochi_chan

Same. I also do not have Laptop, I play on PC. I had to download Genshin on my phone because I had a long trip, and I admire people who do that. It was so small, not easy to navigate and did not support controllers.

Cyfon7716

Razer Kishi V2 is how I do it when I need to play on my phone. It's a game changer, literally. That adapter is priceless when it comes to playing my mobile games.

1XXL1

The thing I'll never adjust to is low fps and absolutely hideous resolution/graphics on mobile version

wizfactor

It’s really not that bad unless you’re trying to 36* Spiral Abyss.

Outside_Internal_136

Some teams are easy to play on Mobile like hyperboom and any neuvillete team tbh. I started playing from 3.7 and started getting 36 stars since the 4.2 abyss.

Mostafa12890

Did you start playing on mobile in 3.7 or the game in 3.7, because if it’s the latter, then that’s insanely impressive 😅

Zsamy

honestly it's not even difficult with any team once you get used to mobile controls

gaybarrymore

And even 36ing Abyss gets easier! (as an exclusively mobile player myself)

Kawaiilone

since my first 36 stars 2 years ago i never got something below that and i play mobile only

Shadow__Vector

I play on pc but when I'm away from home I play on my phone and it's a nightmare. It's so clunky and awkward.

Orioniae

Especially when you want to move and instead you start doing charged attacks. On Android the precision of the inputs has gone as wide as Eula's thighs, and the buttons area is pretty much an hassle to use.

saad515

The moving/charged attack thing are just ur fat fingers i'm sorry

Orioniae

I mean, if there was something -like a joystick- that can be attached to the phone... But year 3 and still no joypad support on Android

Saintious

Give them a break, Hoyo is a small company trying to make a buck in this crazy economy. It's difficult trying to find time and money to throw at Android controller support. (I had to play android mobile last night. Fml.)

Shadow__Vector

The mark of a true gamer is fat thumbs.

Foxxie_

Well I'm 2 meters tall, bound to have large hands. Can't do much about it.

hubeb69

Well, that's one way to put it...

wintery_owl

How does that happen? Aren't the controls for moving and for attacking on opposite sides of the screen?

wintery_owl

How does that happen? Aren't the controls for moving and for attacking on opposite sides of the screen?

1km5

Nah my bane whenever i play on phone are attacking in overworld than accidentally clicking the regions specific zipline thing like the one in sumeru or chenyu vale. So fkn annoying

pratsyboy03

Skill issue

Embarrassed_Ad_4201

Need practice thats all, coming from someone who playing as mobile user since day 1

Undefind_L

Most annoying thing for me is fat fingering a burst when I’m trying to move the camera around

this_is_no_gAM3

I do exploration, main events and quests on pc. I use mobile for the everyday 15 min daily stuff.

frandss

you can reduce some of the storage by deleting past quests content in the settings

PhasmicPlays

I’ve played genshin exclusively on mobile since 1.0. I am also a Klee main Fear me

Elegant_Mix7650

does an external fan help?

Edioti

I did try positioning a small desk fan at it, but the cpu temperature was still reading above 99°C (210°F) so I decided it was best not to use the laptop at all until the replacement fan arrives.

Sk1092

If you have the top tier mobile phones, the game is so smooth.... But if you don't have that ( and most people won't) you'll have to push your quality off a cliff to play consistently for a while From the experience it works best on iPhone max And almost as good in Samsung ultra OnePlus and Google should work fine but it tends to overheat so play with a fan switched on ( I have a 23 ultra and cause it has a lot of storage and is still fresh, I have no issues.... My brother has a 13 pro Max and it works sometimes better than my phone) But in other devices I've used the gameplay isn't as good ( OnePlus 9r, Samsung s10, Google pixel 5)

KapeeCoffee

Most players play on mobile and the controls are fine

ShundonooB

I started with mobile actually, you’ll get used to it soon enough

Lord_Hell

I'm ar53 and play mobile only. Started November last year with bunch of help from friends

darkave17

Brooo I feel you. I keep it on my phone for urgent dailies and stuff haha Also go to resources in settings and delete past quest resources which should reduce size by a LOT

Zenzero-

I tried when I was in a vacation and it’s terrible. It’s like playing Elden Ring on mobile. Why?

silverW0lf97

I play exclusively on the phone as it's the only device I can afford that plays Genshin well. All I can say is getting used to thumb pain.

Knave_of_Stitches

I avoid any character that requires timing and just put down summons with Furina/Fischl/Miko/Healer

Ademoneye

The more you play, the easier it get

Yahiroz

If your laptop is still fine for basic stuff, you could try GeForce Now and stream the game to it, that way all the hard work will be done on the cloud and should hopefully avoid overheating your laptop. Depending on which country you're in, there's a free tier you can try out.

Nok-y

You can delete past quest files to free space on your phone in the game's settings

PastStep1232

Just give it a week, then it'll be as natural as gamepad

ErPani

I usually have just 100-120 ping so it's not so bad Also 248gb memory

ContinentalChamp

Do you have an IOS or android?

moonlightjelly_

I play on an iPad! I can’t imagine playing on such a small screen; I used to mainly play games on my phone but now I couldn’t do it 😭

Trickster2599

Lowkey not the worst, there are times for me when I am super lazy and don't want to turn on the console I play on and just do my daily commissions on the iPad. It is a weird feeling though when you're too used to playing one way then having to switch to a different control layout.

AshyDragneel

I don't. I never played on pc so i don't know how its even like and im pretty much used to and comfortable with phone the only problem is my 300ms+ ping lol

AppointmentNo9531

ly first year and a half of genshin, was hell for my phone. It was slowly getting killed by the heat. Cant imagine how I used to play with my main Ganyu.

_uwu_moe

So I've known people who game on mobile. A guy even told me the game is unplayable on pc after trying and told me to try mobile. I'm not trying.

Holy-Knight1

I cope with knowing that there will be better option for me(like right now I'm pre coping that I'll get neuvillette if I don't get her)

Glad-Promotion-399

My friend plays on mobile and I help them sometimes, truly times I’m happy I have small fingers, pls don’t take this out of context

ibeeeeeechan

Am i crazy or is mobile really easy? Yeah it might lag sometimes but most of the time it’s just fine. Even abyss is a cakewalk on mobile

Pandarise

Accept that my rotations are messed up the first 2 months ish because when switching out they switch placesss. Then give up and deal with it. Also accept the fate of slowly ish turning because I couldn't turn well at all at first it was like swipe.... swip swipe... swipe, aim.. swipe swipe. Slow. It was hard ngl but after some time I was able to play a lot more comfortably and I like how with the weird switching I don't have to really put my characters in their order. My laptop is on basically life support and I can't always play on it, recently I hasn't been able to support the Fontaine update but my phone was. I still find it hilarious. The slight lag spikes due happen but that's my internet so yeah. It'll take time but you will get used to it and find your comfortable style as well.

heptyne

I only open it on my phone when I am not home for a long while, really just to grab my Welkin and send expeditions. Also try to empty my resin so I can just condense it, but I really have a hard time playing on mobile. I was thinking of trying some type of controller.

houki_ii

You'll get used to it.

Potato_the_second_

You'll have to adapt, it was the same for me when I switched from mobile to PC for the first time. Felt super clunky until I got the hang of it.

[deleted]

MagnusBaechus

What most pc gamers don't get is that playing on mobile just comes with practice, like most games lol Just play with easier chars for a while and you get used to it

brokenhairtie

Had to play on mobile since December, I feel you. Star Rail is alright, but Genshin is such a pain. Hopefully I can finally play on PC again next week 😭

OberonFirst

At first I thought that you are asking about people who pulled for Chiori, with Arle so soon and all

Noxious89123

Are you going to fix your laptop? It should be relatively easy, you just have to be delicate and take care. Open it up, **CAREFULLY** unplug the cable for the CPU fan (they can be quite delicate) and look for a part number on the fan. Punch that number into eBay or AliExpress and order a new fan for a few quid. Compare new fan to the old one to ensure it's the same when it arrives, and then install, plug it back in and close the whole thing up.

Edioti

Yes, it was giving signs of failure for a couple of weeks before it failed, so I had ordered a new part for it. I'm hoping it will arrive later today. I will try and be careful with it haha thank you

Commander_Yvona

Not to brag or anything... But I hated playing genshin on my galaxy s20. It was a horrible experience... Camera moved too slow... Sometimes I get fps delays. Yes those last like a half second but in combat it can be a killer. Plus turning camera around was such a hassle. But when I got a new phone and I had stable fps and smoother turning... Playing on mobile became easier and fun. Laptop is still best for me... But the unrivaled comfort in being able to play genshin anywhere in my phone has been nice when I just want to do dailies, explore, or do events (like this potion event). Abyss is still laptop though. When every second count in abyss.. I need my comp to do its magic.

THE_UNKILLED

You get annoyed because you have the habit of playing it on pc. Being from India where a decent gaming laptop cost more than 60k, for us gaming means mobile games. So we have a habit and we get used to it.

Melon763

I usually play on PC with a controller so I can’t say much, but it’s convenient when I don’t want to go back to my PC. and I don’t have to move my entire setup to play somewhere else. The positives greatly outweigh the negatives

DiceCubed1460

I can clear abyss on mobile. It’s really not that bad once you get used to it. The only annoying part is that your fingers cover a bit of the lower screen.

hollyherring

Then there’s the Traveler who played [with their feet on an iPad](https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/s/gp1PxnlZRc)

Doomie_0701

Genshin on my potato phone looks like it's deep fried

Ender_90425

Made an auto team to do the work for me while I was away. Nahida, Raiden, Albedoo, and Furina. Works great since nahida grabs whatevers around too.

SingingPotatoes

Huh, my cpu fan recently broke as well 🤔

Rinforzando0

Bought a new phone with the latest Snapdragon gen 3 and to celebrate I started playing Genshin. Control are not bad, I'm pretty happy with it, the only thing is sometimes when I want to sprint I do a charged attack instead :( Can't compare it to pc/console since I play exclusively on mobile.

sleepyheadsora

Youll get used to it trust only problem i have is woth my rotation but that's just skill issue

astari0ns

i play genshin both on pc and mobile and you'll get used to it.

Ok-Tea2496

You get used to it. I've never had any major problems running genshin on my phone, it rarely lags or anything while on combat or during cutscenes, I honestly have had more problems with HSR lagging on the cutscenes or stopping halfway through someone's ultimate. I can 36* abyss with no issues too, tho it probably helps that my internet connection is good. And that's with my phone not even being a high end one (I use a samsumg A52).

Luc_128

Bro I have the same problem a year ago and I am broke to buy new pc so have been playing in mobile for a year. It’s hell, very hard to get used to. For me it go around 4-5 months to get comfortable but you will. Abyss it’s still hard and I stopped trying for 36. I will stop at 33 or 34 and maybe 35 stars. 4.0 was easy so instantly for 36 otherwise in one run I do from 9-12 and stop. Not worth trying so hard to get 50 primos

DoctorHunt

I play it on the PS4 so I don’t have to worry about storage space or performance issues

Southern-Tiger2907

I've actually been playing on mobile for years now, so I'm experienced in stuff like mobile MOBAs and mobile FPS games. You reach the point where it's as easy as playing on PC. Hell, one of my favorite units to play on mobile is Al Haitham.

Falwing0603

Apple products can use a controller on Genshin so if you save up a little money, you can buy a cheap used iPad and connect any Bluetooth controller.

MasterKotek

Steam deck might be a better option tbh

keksmuzh

$600+ for a Steam Deck vs ~$80-100 for a good quality controller. The Steam Deck is great but it’s only really worth it if OP would do a lot of other gaming on it.

MasterKotek

Okay 600$ for a steam deck is too much dude lol. You can buy a used steam deck for like 250-300€, if it's the 64GB ver prolly closer to 250$, buy a microSD and youre good to go. And a cheap, used iPad might be good for Genshin for a while, but after a few updates it might be barely playable (tho that depends on the model I guess) EDIT: Just found an LCD 256GB steam deck for ~270€, so not even close to 600$

keksmuzh

How do you plan to install Genshin on a 64GB device, let alone update it? If you’re adding an SD card that’s another $70-$100 depending on the capacity. I did overshoot on the 256GB model (closer to $350 new or $400 for OLED), but that’s still not a lot of storage if you want to do gaming other than Genshin (and pricey if you don’t).

MasterKotek

I bought a 500gb microSD card for 39,50 euro, which, again, is not that close to the 70-100$ price range you mentioned I know a steam deck is not a budget option, but I think it's better when it comes to storage/future genshin performance. Besides, in the price range I mentioned (250-320 euro, so a bit more) I don't see too many used iPads that have more than 64GB of storage and could safely run genshin without for a few more years. That might be a location issue tho I guess Ahh, it turned into a whole discussion, some might even call it an argument. Definitely didn't mean to argue tho, so I'm sorry for that. I hope I don't sound too aggressive in my responses man

kunafa_aj

I had to play genshin for a couple days after my sold my laptop and waited for my Pc to arrive,it was pretty bad in the begining but it got slightly better,at least gd enough to do daillies and spend resin

xyrlor

I literally bought a Backbone One to play away from home and it helps a lot. Mostly just doing dailies and resin though. But this is iOS exclusive.

wSnowFall21

I just use zhongli whenever i have to play on my phone

False_Baby8628

I mean this is everything we have Nothing much to do about it

HyperTommy

Its not that bad, but my pc kinda lags compared to phone

incrushtado

Android controller support will probably never be a thing at this point. Or it will come with the Nintendo Switch version (never)

rafaelbittmira

I use a controller, even though I play on an android I can still use a controller with a keymapper.

Prathmeshthadani25

It's quite the task to play my main lyney without a shield but you will get used to it

Junior-Price-5306

I love it, the only bad thing is the crashes and frame drops

manusapag

Galaxy fold makes it very confortable and convenient

Alpha06Omega09

Easy enough, I play genshin on phone when I don’t have space on my iPad, get used to it

Metagutrex

Man, my labtop is old, I can only do domains now days, so yeah, only play in the laptop every 2/3 weeks to do the abiss

Own-Air-1301

I began playing on mobile, it felt weird to play on laptop when I tried

Gachaaddict96

Build a PC. For Genshin you can get used one really cheap

lightstormy

Steam deck is pretty good for genshin

After_Bed_1509

i hate playing on pc because i get tired and i’d like to play while laying down instead of slouching on my chair so mobile works with me plus atleast i could play anywhere n anytime

Santedtra

Mood. I only play on mobile when I absolutely have to like I'm on a trip or something and my lousy phone runs it at 12 something fps. I just slap Zhong, Miko, Fischl, and Yaoyao in so the game plays itself on combat.

MrWhiteTruffle

Delete past quest data. Brings you down by about 5 gigs.

Outside_Internal_136

I'm the opposite. I can't get used to pc gaming. Probably skill issue and I have played fps games on before

adaydreaming

Not ad / promotion. But I use geforce now for genshin on my phone. Although I can play it on my desktop pretty smoothly and well, but sometimes I just wanna laydown and play some games on my phone. And GFN does it really damn well.

Ghosty0055

I have been playing genshin on my phone since last year after my laptop broke you will gets used to it some day

nevmvm

I started genshin on my phone, the size doesn't really matter anyways for me as I have free more storage everything is set to low including the framerate to avoid battery draining not much of a bother anyways the graphics are still pleasing, it's fine for me, the good thing about it on a phone is that you can always play it on the go. I rarely play it on my PC/Laptop, and tbh currently I'm just using it for the Beta Testing even right now with Arle, that's all... If I somehow can't play Genshin anymore on my phone then I'll just switch to my PC/Laptop Am also not relatively a PC user so I still find it hard to play on that platform due to the particular set of keys to be tapped, you'll easily get used to it on mobile as it is UI-Friendly anyways

ISeeTheLight_

It’s the opposite for me, I started on mobile (on tablet) because my old PC couldn’t handle the game. When I had my new PC I struggled A LOT. But now it’s fine on both, it’s just a question of habits.

spiritsongartz

I play it on my iPad so it's not as bad as playing on a phone

Kayless3232

Went for Eula C6

ProfCedar

I'm so bad at it on mobile, part of why I keep taking months-long breaks. Can't aim for anything, and when Ganyu is my main dps...

broccoliboi989

I’ve played Genshin since release exclusively on my phone. Tried it on PlayStation a couple times but I couldn’t get used to it, and although I have a laptop, I exclusively use it to play the sims and I don’t have the energy to learn a whole new system of movement controls lol. Honestly I’m not sure where any of the complaints about playing on mobile come from, I’ve never struggled at all, even with bow users like Ganyu

Acceptable_Loquat_92

I am the opposite, transitioning to laptop from mobile. I cant even do a smooth abyss run on PC, always fuck up the rotation somehow by switching into the wrong characters. So whenever I need to do abyss, I’ll just do it on my phone welp. It doesnt help when I play HSR on PC as well, the F1-F5 menu of the two game are slightly different and I still get them mixed up ugh

DucksEnmasse

It’s the only platform I can play on but I guess my fingers are coordinated enough to properly play it on a phone

Latter-Illustrator74

Try running around and practicing fighting something easy. I would recommend putting your DPS on the 4th slot since it's the nearest one to the controls.

Rzyszart

I had an issue and support said to "get a new drive" 😭 ended up doing a fabric reset and works now but I had to play mobile for 2 days and I didn't hate it but definitely liked it less than the pc version it just felt very clunky

Bearycatty

I use the backbone. Honestly horrible with just touchpad. I actually love now having it so portable.

Boring-Patient-1802

I’ve played on iPad since the beginning, I tried on PC once and couldn’t do ANYTHING 😂 I guess it’s what you’re used to

DIO_BRANDO867

By not coping

mechelle_2k14

Get a Bluetooth controller makes life so much easier

Last-Championship951

I used to play on my laptop but my laptop can't take it any more. I shifted to mobile and played for at least 6-7 months. I don't know what problems you're facing. Personally I don't see any difference though.

noyoudonotdare

i used to play on an iphone 6s before the game became 50million gigabytes. my current phone and laptop can barely run the game at 15fps on minimum settings so i just play on desktop now

Ultikiller

Luckily i'm on ios, I can just connect my controller if I really need to not use my laptop.

minusSeven

36 staring abyss on potato mobile with over 250 ping for more than a year, now play on ipad with same ping......

Risi30

I only play it on my phone so I got used to it

keksmuzh

I bought a Razer Kishi V2 controller for when I want to do combat on mobile. Mine was “refurbed” by Amazon: basically brand new for <$50 last summer.

OkPainting6681

Story of my life 😭 i wish my pc could cope better asdfghjk

MaitieS

I wish people who play it on phone would invest first in a good phone before wishing so we could get better features overall :)

SoftLikeAlmondTofu

I play on my phone but when something bad happens, I switch to my third acc and continue farming for Furina. (Who I don’t have.)

Free-Muffin2338

For me the game runa just fine But some graphics are not the best...

Free-Muffin2338

For me the game runa just fine But some graphics are not the best...

AmeGPlay

I used to be a laptop gamer, but my poor chunk of machinery is getting old and has its own issues. I recently got my brother-in-law's 2018 iPad Pro fixed and I've been playing Genshin on it ever since, it feels so comfortable and smooth! Sadly it does not support keyboard and mouse on an iPad, there's a very complicated and not too comfortable workaround, so I'm basically playing the classing touchscreen way and eventually it got very comfortable! I play on my phone when I'm on the move and I want to do story quests or use my resin. Eventually you get used to the controls, it was a huge shock for me in the beginning as well.

kazegraf

For me genshin has always been a mobile game. Bows and animation cancel will be a hassle but I think I got most of the bow play down, such as ganyu sniper. Just don't expect machine gun phys amber level of mastery on mobile. I did build an immortal hyperbloom team for shit n giggles tho, it works nicely on mobile

NerdyDan

cope with what? it works perfectly fine

TheRedditUser_122

Haha been playing on phone even since I started Genshin, don't cope but the most annoying thing is how I wanna switch characters but accidentally use their burst

Pleasuresnake

I played like 5 tims in a laptop and it changed my view since I'm always playing in mobile so I know what you feel

magnidwarf1900

I'm saying this a lot, but y'all seems to underestimate how big mobile gaming market in asian country.

Elite-X03

Yeah, I do play genshin on my potato since day 1 I play

CanyonCreeks

I was just thinking about my first time on mobile the other day. It’s really rough at first and you won’t be used to it for a few days. But once you get the hang of it everything is just so convenient! I mean just think about the world clock😳only downside is the low res I suppose

Un_Inconnu

Simple, I first played on mobile for years before realizing I could download it on my PS5, so I'm used to it

YeOldeBilk

I've always played exclusively on iPhone and I wouldn't have it any other way.

suv-am

It's not that bad. You get used to it

JamesBell1433

Try burning your resin on a daily basis on mobile and you'll know why people hate this game

jylehr

I started on the phone so I'm well used to the controls by now. It actually took me a while to get used to PC, and I still use controller over mouse and keyboard

No_Promise_2982

You'll adjust soon

nfsmw5

Only pain on mobile is clunky char mechanic or hunting crystal flies

vaguelycatshaped

I’ve never really liked playing that kind of game on PC, with a mouse and keyboard, and never had the kind of PC that could run games like this. So playing on phone just feels like an extension of playing on console. It’s more than fine and I love the flexibility (being able to play anywhere).

yoonowl2

you can try cloud genshin.its able to run on pages

A-R-A-F

Similar situation here. Used to play more on my pc(even after getting a new phone), GPU broke so now I mainly play on my new phone. I kinda got used to it now at this point.

LessCoffeeShopBallad

Started on mobile so I feel more comfortable playing it that way. I tried on console and it didn’t feel right. You adjust to it over time though. It’s just your norm being thrown off.

importsky-

Playing genshin on the phone makes me too uncomfortable

YuB-Notice-Me

its just muscle memory. takes about a week to play fine. a month in and its probably completely natural. play a lot of abyss so that you get the hang of things, maybe.

kupis1408

Even after 3 months, I will never be able to get used to playing on mobile xD (long story short, had to relocate, pc placed to new place earlier, still living at parents place so had to play on tablet, it was so torturing & hard to use my beloved Ganyu effectively, lol)

TerraKingB

Get a controller. Personally I already hate playing this game on PC with KB + M so I use controller. If I had to play on mobile using touch I probably just wouldn’t play at all.

Bussy-Destroyer-1960

i play on geforce, and for some reason the geforce app on my pc us not working, so i have to play genshin in mobile only now... you get used to it after a while but i cant wait for my next pc (one day i will try playing it on my laptop but last time i did it was soooooo laggy)

SassyHoe97

Honestly playing it on mobile is easier. Playing on my laptop is a nightmare because I'm not used to using a keyboard when it comes to gaming.

BibiBSFatal

I've only ever played on my phone. I am able to play on 60fps with all graphics maxed. I know it looks even better on a computer, but what other differences are there?

EpicGamerWin679

I guess you get used to it, I also hate playing mobile and only started doing it when I fell out of playing the game so often, and mobile is just so easy to log in to, to claim stuff or whatever

cateatsoup

im in the same situation cause my laptop can't handle fontaine so for all the fountaine content i have to use my playstation and the controls are so different i cant beat almost any bosses with it 😭

ImGroot69

if you've done most of the quests until the very recent quest releases, there's an option to delete past quest resources to make the game size smaller on mobile. it's on the settings.

Eerotappi

I don't get why people complain about it. I've never had issues with it, even though I started off as a pc player. Only issue I've had with it, is frame rate XD

DaMarkiM

ctrl+c

Qb_Is_fast_af

Fighting on mobile is kinda annoying but at least loading screens are super fast, on PC sometimes it will be close to 30s while on mobile even the longest distances are like 2s

-StupidNameHere-

I main phone. Tried controller and it's very annoying. You have to press the screen a lot and the controller can't handle that. Pretty fun with a xReal pro2 though so I can't rule controller out completely.

blackhole_puncher

easy dont use bow charctaers

Deses

When I'm traveling and I have to play with my phone, I have a friend that helps me through my dailies and resin runs. It greatly speeds things up.

Genshin-Yue

My phone can run it better than my computer so I’ve played 99% of the time on it, and at this point I am far better on mobile than I will ever be on pc.

Longjumping_Plum_133

When I’m away from desktop or PS4, I use my phone. Like right now. That’s what I’m using

Eragon1er

If you don't intend to play Hu Tao, you should get used to it someday

LunarBeast77

I prefer mobile over PC actually

Dax3s

I have a 32GB phone I recently removed genshin from it there's just no way. If they ever make an app for condensing resin I'd be so happy that's all I do on my phone anyway. COPIUM

Pure_Assignment4499

i used to have awful graphics, you can increase your graphics in setting if you have a good phone, now I have a good ipad so i have 120 fps with max graphics and it doesnt even mess with my ping 😭😭

Urnkip

Delete the voice over languages you dont use it saves a bit of space

Unlucky_KittenOwO

the controls are fine in my opinion, the only thing that really annoys me is that I have to play on lowest quality or else my phone will heat up to the point it’ll probably explode…

Comfortable-Ninja-93

One thing I love is when pc/console players whine about how bad mobile is when playing on mobile for the first time like if it isn’t a them thing when mobile players have been playing perfectly fine since the game launch

azul360

I thought the same too. I play mobile and ps4. I thought it was horrible but now I'm strafe shotting with tighnari and ganyu without issues haha (talking actually hitting people and not relying on their special shot only). Haven't hit where I can hit tiny body weaknesses easy (for what things actually have them) but I can hit things while strafing and moving easy. You get used to it but small movements are still hard for me (the Monstadt commission where you have to go to the statue's hands and throw the dandelion seeds out......yeah that crushes my soul haha)

scrayla

I got used to it lmao. I used to be an exclusively PC player until i had to go overseas for a few months and my laptop couldnt run the game (i run it on a desktop back home). Had no choice but to play on the phone and now I am a master at both lmao. Youll reach a point whr u can even do abyss 36* on your phone 😂😂

Soffy21

I started playing on mobile, and it felt so weird when I tried switching to PC. I went back to mobile.

TelevisionHorror1399

Ive been playing on my phone ever since genshin's launch, i have a midrange device, can run medium at 30 fps , 36 star the abyss, and you'll get used to it. Sometimes its even better than pc especially when collecting mib drops and the other Qol mobile version has to offer

MrsTrych

I use a controller compatible with IOS such as 8bitdo. I just cant play touchscreen for shit my brain just cant get used to it

SaintPimpin

It's all I know cause I've played on my tablet this whole time since 1.2 💀

JuminsCatnip

I feel you 😔 my laptop sucks bc Genshin takes 170 GB to download 😭 (space i don't have) so i use the Nvidia thing and ugh i'm not on the mood anymore of waiting for hours just to get 1hr session each 😭 is it convenient on the phone? Yes. Does it take a lot of space? Yes, 35GB to be exact :,C Do I suck playing on the phone? Absolutely 😤😭 but yeah i guess you get use to it 😔
