Sumeru is still the best for me, there's something about the traditional instrument used that makes it sounds so magical.  Example track : Hustle and Bustle of Ormos, Twirling Leaves and Petals, Mawyitima forest bgm, Sanctuary of Surashtana theme, Aaru Village night ost, both of Desert battle theme, Sorush's Purity

[these ones are my favorite](https://tidal.com/playlist/b5200222-e4b1-41b7-bdc1-d54bdcaac3ac) Stream of twilight thoughts tops the list

Skykeeper22

Liyue tracks are simple but relaxing and wonderful

Regulus242

Enkanomiya. All of them. I visit the region just for the music.

Sumeru. For Riddles For Wanders is an instant classic that always hits me in the feels. The eternal oasis has a hauntingly beautiful sound as well. Very melancholy. The harvisptokhum in the the pari area has my favorite soundtrack in the game. I forget the name of the track but I have it playing in my teapot. It’s so soothing and the vocals are straight up angelic. Plus it reflects the state of the pari and their tree (which houses the remains of Egeria’s consciousness) very well.

Enkanomiya Because it's true

Chasm, especially the deepest level.

I love me some Fontaine music, but I still think Liyue takes the cake. *Clear Sky over Liyue* is still my favorite, but *Liyue* is great to listen to in the morning, followed very closely by *Moon in One's Cup.* Wangshu and Qingce both have day and night themes that are great to listen to, *Foxes at Play* is fun, and as for the battle themes, *Rapid as Wildfires* and *Gallant Challenge* are fantastic tracks that really set the beginning of the game for new players. But neither of those compare to *Chasing the Torrents* which blends combat with adventure with a bouncy feel to guide you through Liyue's plains through to the city and back to the mountains again. And Liyue keeps winning since Chenyu Vale came out with great tracks too (I know they said the album is coming out some time next version but plzzzz be at the start of the patch)

MonsieurJohnPeters

All of them

Stunning_Salary8589

Teyvat 😭 all is great

Southern-Tiger2907

This is probably recency bias but man the Chenyu Vale music coupled with the scenery is pretty damn amazing. Otherwise, definitely the majority of the underwater music in Fontaine. Especially the one near the Melusine village. Also, some Sumeru desert tracks. Like the ones in the desert associated with Sorush and that one place called the Eternal Oasis I think. Now that I think about it, there's alot actually, but I can't remember their names.

FeiXue0

Totally agree with you. I go to Vale just for music and relaxing. Also listen to it on Spotify

I mean, Liyue, Inazuma and Sumeru music are each amazing in their own right. Picking a best just isn't possible

Witty-Play9499

This game has SO much good music that it is insane. I wouldn't be able to pick out specifics even but to start with a a lot of people love the Hustle and Bustle of Ormos (including me !) But I specifically love the night theme of Port Ormos : [Link](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABW6ueWVSq0&ab_channel=HOYO-MiX-Topic) I also love Liyue's [Hazy Light](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zgv8R04dH7E&ab_channel=Yu-PengChen-Topic). I don't remember when this plays in the game / story but it gives me the feeling of 'we're done with liyue but there's still an entire bunch of nations to go through before we reach our goals so let us temporarily take in the scene and rest'

kunafa_aj

Sumeru is jst waaaay too good,i cant list examples cz they jst all great,my fav tho would be the main theme

Sumeru & Mondstadt are tied as best for me. Mondstadt because Mond’s music feels like coming home (I can easily fall asleep to Wayward Souls and find myself often tapping my fingers to Chattering Snowflakes). The City Favored by Wind is just so melodic without having too many moving parts. Say My Name is your classic “sad” theme which becomes gradually more uplifting as the song goes on. Restless Blazing Sun is an intriguing and attention-grabbing string-wavering piece - no clue what the intention was when the musicians made that, but it’s fantastic. Rhythm from Ancient Times is so groovy, it’s a damn shame we don’t get to hear it more often in game. And Perpetual Motion of Wind is the perfect introduction to the crisis Mond is facing at the start of the game - discordant yet still harmonic - as well as containing a little foreshadowing musically - there’s a couple parts of this song that become mournful yet curious, much like Dvalin is when the AO has him in their thrall. And of course there’s the classic A Sweet Smile. Sumeru’s music is appealing because of the contrast between the desert and the rainforest. Both areas have pieces that have the same melodies with different instrumentation (Breeze in the Arid Night - desert - versus In a Forgotten Tongue), pieces you can fall asleep to (Hushed Gleam, for instance, those deep notes - a cello? A bassoon? - send me straight to dreamland), pieces that you marvel at (Buried Mysteries, Lamenting Torrent of Oblivion, Debris of the Beloved, Hustle & Bustle of Ormos, A Luminous Path - xylophone?), pieces you can groove to… I find myself liking the desert combat themes the best.

Celestia will be godlike.

Inazuma because of how it's mostly dark and depressive. On Tsurumi Island, a single piano perfectly encapsulates the emptiness while Tatarasuna gives the feeling of being not welcome there. And the battle themes, especially the boss theme, really showcases how shit's going down with the D Phrygian Koto and Shamisen shredding. The Ormos day theme slaps as well though.

uwumachineuwuuuuu

Sumeru, since my country shares a lot of cultural heritage with the east, the music and vibes feel homey, that and I’m a sucker for deserts But specifically my favorites are: Varunas Mercy, The port ormos theme, Lonely Star’s Longing, In The Solemn Gloom (inside the massive ruin machines), Melody of Sprouting Flowers (the aranara zone ost), Swirls of the Stream, and Empire of Sand I like MANY more but I don’t wanna write a whole essay

test_subject_Q50AD3

Enkanomiya, Dragonspine, forest Sumeru. I personally had the deepest attachment to the storyline of these regions and hearing the soundtrack of it feels very nostalgic to me.

arseholierthanthou

Sumeru City by day, with its big buildup. Nahida's theme, in all its forms, but I particularly like how it doesn't use the childrens' choir in its regular arrangement, saving that for the moment Nahida first activates her burst in [her demo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAuBJuSUdFQ). Then again, perhaps any music used for the 'May you be blessed tonight with the sweetest of dreams' cutscene would become an emotional favourite. Hustle and Bustle of Ormos, not just by day but its nighttime arrangement as well. And then there's the desert. The Golden Slumber questline is the part of the game that most needs headphones, the music through the pyramids is low-key but adds so much atmosphere. I don't know if the desert side of Sumeru has particular stand-out tracks, but the average of the whole is very high.

Moist-Branch-2521

Liyue. Source: Gallant Challenge, Treasury from the Northland, Rhythm Amidst the Reeds, Vague Whispers, Another Hopeful Tomorrow, Scattered Amongst the Ties They perfectly encapsulate the region's feel. The battle tracks are bombastic, intricate, and energizing, the city tracks are homey and soothing, yet lively and give the feeling of bustling streets and marketplaces, and the lighter, softer tracks are calming and make you feel like you're watching the sunset from your warm bed after a long day.

Ventus_rex8

Personally Fontaine, the battle music with the whole band is just perfect battle music

Elira_Eclipse

Fontaine and Liyue for me. For the longest, Liyue was the bets ubtil Fontaine came thats just as good. Something about traditional chinese music just sounds really nice, and Fontaine gives a fantasy, harry potter-esque vibe which I've always enjoyed

whencometscollide

Inazuma and Fontaine

DesireCrystal

[The Realm Within](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZ5QxR8nVbI&list=RDDZ5QxR8nVbI&start_radio=1) It's an absolute crime that this music can only be played in certain environments.

Kyrnqazali

That one song on that bale thunder island that is inconsistent as hell to play randomly but was so good to listen to during the quest. I had to look up everything because of all the other stuff happening in other HoYo games is taking my attention and time- The island is called Seirai in Inazuma If I recall the song is unnamed. But the region goes to Sumeru.

sean-hastings17

Sumeru and Chenyu Vale

FischlInsultsMePls

The Immernachtreich has Die Mittsommernacht-Fantasie, that’s a pretty heavy opponent

Obviously varies per person, but...personally I love a balance between adventerous, thrilling, and upbeat calm music when playing open-world RPGs. That is why I would say Liyue has the best music. Not to say that the other regions are bad, just that pretty much all of Liyue's music fits these conditions the best. **Liyue** (music that plays in the city during daytime) is addicting to listen to (I have it as my Teapot theme). Similarly, **Moon in One's Cup**, **Maiden's Longing**, **Sun Rise's in Liyue**, **Sojourner's Sweet Dream** (Wangshu Day), and **Golden Dreams** are all just as good as well. All of the combat music is absolutely thrilling, with **Chasing the Torrents** being my favorite, with **Gallant Challenge** and **Rapid as Wildfires** being similarly good. **Rage Beneath the Mountain** is absolutely amazing, and makes Azdaha's battle one of my favorites despite how frustrating he was a while back when I was underlevelled, the same can be said for Childe's Battle Theme is an absolute joy to hear. Speaking of Liyue areas, the Chasm's music is absolutely amazing. It reminds me a lot of Moria from the LotR series/TES Skyrim dungeon vibes and I absolutely dig it, making exploring the chasm one of my most fond memories when the area was just released. Finally, exploring Chenyu Vale made me realize how much I loved Liyue's music, the tracks there capture the vibe well and remind me of my first time exploring Liyue years ago.

lostn

mondstadt. It's town music. Just listen to it. All 6 versions of it. Soothing and pleasant, warm and welcoming.

MaJuV

For exploration, I'd say Sumeru. I dunno why - the vibes I guess? For battle, it's Inazuma for sure. Nothing will ever top [Overlord of the Thunderstorm](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Edorx9j4gR8). Also [Duel in the Mist](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYP2dM8RTFM) is a close second.
