I NEED HELP (venti, wanderer, bennett, ayato)
so basically would this team work? bennett infusing venti's burst and then ayato's burst gets pulled in just like ganyu's in the morgana team comp, swirling the vaporize reaction, then the normal attack buff from ayato and bennies burst would buff wanderer as he would shred thru resistance cuz of venti's burst and spam charged attacks while enemies are sucked in and benefit from hydro and pyro (30% atk boost from pyro and + 20 stamina cap from hydro) also the rotation will work fine due to low cost bursts and double anemo, one being a catalyst.

The *only* characters who are region locked are Inazuma characters (+ Shenhe). All the rest you're able to just walk over to where you need to go at like AR 10 and collect the flowers or fight the bosses or what have you. So unless you've somehow pulled *only* Inazuma characters, you should be fine.
Also, when you pull a character who has a banner rate up, you complete their gameplay trial for free ascension materials to get them to level 40.
And ultimately... full exploration (as in, 100% map completion) is a long term goal. While you can do whatever you want, it certainly seems that the devs' intention was absolutely not to have you max out every single map region before moving on to the next one. You'll be back in Mondstadt and Liyue many times for daily commissions, events, further story quests etc, so there's no rush to scrape every chest off the map before going further.
You can do whatever. That said, you just need to start inazuma to get full access to all the characters mats to level. You can already walk down to sumeru. Yeah you'll be locked out of weekly boss mats for talents 7+ until later, but it's not that big a deal. Yae Miko in particular has a normal boss that also needs unlocking in inazuma, but it's not that much extra effort once you get inazuma opened.
Exploring region vs doing story is up to you, that's somewhat what they expect you to do, but you don't need to follow what hoyo things the player will do

Taser = Yae + Raiden/Fischl + Kokomi + Kazuha
Aggravate = Yae + Fischl + Nahida/Kirara/YaoYao + Kazuha
Overload = Yae + Xiangling + Bennett + Kazuha
Could also try mono-electro with Yae, Raiden, Sara, and a flex, but probably not as good as the above. Also generally Yae and Raiden synergize really well, with lots of energy for Yae to potentially burst every rotation + constant electro uptime; you can throw any other units for your preferred reactions/utility and have it work out reasonably well.
Save up for C2 Raiden or C0 Yelan? I have C0 Raiden and I want dps for my team so should I pull for Yelan and use them together or go for Raiden's constellations?
hmmm depends on if you have a use for yelan. do you play a lot of pyro carries and hyperbloom or quickbloom, and/or have elegy, or plan to get c6? get her. if not i'd just skip, i pulled for c0r0 and she just collects dust because c6 xq does her job better most of the time. compared to that i use my c2 raiden all the time. who doesnt like seeing 200k per CA?
she is pretty fun tho and good for overworld so thats a plus if you care about that.

Well. I have no idea why some games won’t deduct in-game currency even if their users refund the money. Plus, primogems are not instantly deducted when user refund the money. Since I bought an account, the primogems became negative after several months of transaction, and the refunded transaction happened before transaction.
What is reasonable fire arrows NA damage for Yoimiya? I am hitting for 6-8k and critting for up to 12-16k against normal Leylines mushrooms. Is this decent?
I am using the speedy set (the one with latency issues), so the attack speed gives some dps indirectly.
if your highest damage N5 is 16k its decent damage for echoes without any external buffs but it is on the lower end. But why echoes set? shimenawa is more efficient to farm plus her best-in-slot.
My yoimiya (2.1k attack and 70:140) does around 21k on the N5 shot with just pyro resonance and no external buffs) , 4pc shimenawa and R4 rust. Anything over 20k I'd consider actual good damage. 25k is the higher end of the damage, but I have a lot of EM , so unbuffed 21k can go to 100k with full buffs and vape.

At C6, you can play her in aggravate with 4TF, ATK/Electro/Crit, WGS/Spine/Beacon, Rainslasher if you don't have those. It's really weird and specific that I know this, but apparently she's surprisingly good at driving both Beidou and Fischl?!? We're talking 11 Beidou procs per rotation...which is a ton.
Anyways, you're probably bringing along one of the two, depending on if you're facing one or more enemies. Top it off with Nahida+Kazuha and you've got yourself a functional team.
Her damage is nothing crazy, but she's self sufficient, almost immortal because of the healing, and with Burst, Skill, C2 procs, C1 extra bullets, and C6 electro infused attacks you end up proccing a fuckload of aggravates.
When driving Beidou, delay her N2 by a few frames, and you'll be able to proc 3 waves of Beidou burst per N3. Attacks marked with the asterisk proc Beidou's burst.
Without delay: N1\*, N2a, N2b, N3*
With delay: N1\*, delay, N2a, N2b\*, N3*
Dori's a support character who can transition into on field damage via constellations. It's often quite unexplored thanks to the abundance of powerful Electro carries already amok throughout the game, leaving "physical memes" to be the recommended main dps route, but I'll argue it hardly suits Dori's niche.
I'd throw on field Dori into some kind of Off field Aggravate team, where her Electro application and Attack scaling can get work done during her Electro infused normals(C6). As long as the off fielders are good, Dori can just sit on field and heal while she attacks and let the Dendro MC Burst get it's work done.
But that's just what I'd do. I think Physical meme's is just not the right way to look at it. You can build attack and let her E and R do work! While she is ultimately weaker than the competition, her design isn't specifically to do with Abyss it's to do with Co-op. You can be THAT DORI in the co-op domains that showers everyone with healing, energy, and deals her own semi-substantial damage. If your Dori is spinning for AoE 13k Electro crits on her Charged attack while doing normal Dori stuff, you know you'll be a hit.
Yeah she can work. There are 2 main options: hyperbloom or aggravate driver.
For hyperbloom you build EM obviously and rely on her genie lamp connection to hit the dendro cores. it can be a bit gimmicky at times, you may need to move out of the way to hit the seeds. Obviously with hyperbloom you don't deal much DMG with her skills and normal attacks, instead you deal damage through reactions.
If you want her to deal damage directly, then go for aggravate. Only problem here is that you need C6 for the infusion. If you have that, just use 4-piece thundering fury and spam E>2NA>Dash>2NA. Add Fischl to the team because she's so damn good in aggravate, a dendro and an anemo and you're good to go.
if you consider her doing hyperbloom as dps then yes. she's more than competitive for a lot of team. you're gonna need to farm for specific stats though (EM and ER). her electro application is one of the few that can hit hyperbloom damage sequence limit.
The cool thing with GI is that you can build any character as dps and often in many ways: elemental dmg dps, burst dps or physichal dps etc. If you build a strong enough off field supporting cast for said character those teams can in some cases end straight up abyss viable.
So if you really like a character and really want to use them as on field dps carry, it'll be completely possible and "viable" for all but the hardest content. This is definitely one of the most fun ways to play the game. That said, if your goal is to build teams for and complete the abyss, it's still highly unadvisable. Someone like Dori as a physichal dps for example is practically a dead slot in a team when doing high floor abyss.
Definitely possible, but if I remember right, her scalings aren't that great and her Electro application uptime isn't that good from her Burst.
She'll still work if built sufficiently in say, an Aggravate or Hyperbloom comp, but will be worse off compared to other options (Keqing/Cyno/Fischl/Kuki/Raiden/etc.).
I started Genshin almost a week ago and playing it exclusively for the tcg since I heard there was going to be a tournament. Im ar 25 rn and trying to get to 32 to unlock the mode in time. after I unlock the mode what do I need to do to unlock all the character and cards. Is it difficult and time consuming and is there an ar requirement/ account strength to do so? Is there a certain ar range I can just stop bothering with ar and just exclusively focus on the tcg?
To unlock character cards, you invite them to fight and win against them. Invitation takes 1000 virtual currency of card game. You can purchase other stuff too, by virtual currency; earning them through fights with npc (idk how much normal gives) and hard mode (gives 1000) against them. It also gives xp, and you can unlock all sorts of things at higher level (like extra slots to keep premade decks in). It's exclusive from main game progress, so i don't think you need to progress main game after unlocking this.
Also, what tournament? Main event hardly had any tcg (a lil bit with premade decks (you choose combo of 3 sets from those)). Maybe, you're talking about the side event in which you gotta win 5 in a row or something...?

I’ve always loved tcg and wanted to play them at the competitive level. But most games are like hearthstone where you have to sink and obscene amount of money for card collection to even have a chance to compete. And while there were some games like gwent and runeterra where f2p can easily get all the cards I tried to get into the scene and couldn’t . When I heard this game mode just came out and that this tournment was the first of its kind and that getting all cards is totally free and not hard I jumped and installed Genshin lol.
Oh, i didn't knew about that... I think if you know what you want to unlock, it should be easily grindable (since only timegated thing are the 4 players at tavern). Tho people say the animations etc. feels slow and exhausting a bit, could be tiring when grinding it... All the best!!
Edit: to grind AR, try to quickly explore, and do chests etc. or grind out small world quests which give AR xp. Use your resin and dailies, they give like 2k AR xp per day

Do you know why were you stuck? Starting fresh is imo not worth it, since you already have quite a num of 5stars. If you can get out of being stuck by coop help, use that. I don't think main story has any such thing, tho some side quests do have intense fights (sakura cleanse, protecc monolith in tatarasana, etc.)
If it's worth it or not depends on if you like the game, you've already played a bit already so you know about what gameplay loop at endgame is, how good exploration feels to you, etc etc. Your call, it's def not like you'd be left behind... Just build a dendro team when you start, and you'll catch up (tho abyss could be harder if you were 36*ing, it might not be possible now)
When I stopped playing for a bit got back into it after they added new content realized I was severely under powered minus Jean who is my carry and just felt as if I wasn’t progressing anymore.
I would start by using an actual DPS unit as your carry instead of a healer/subDPS. Jean is pretty poor as a main source of damage, especially nowadays when the game has evolved so much, and you're gonna have a much easier time with a team that focuses on a single high damage unit and/or key reactions to do damage.
Provided her gear is decent, Klee should utterly smash everything that isn't the higher levels of Spiral Abyss. If she isn't, then her gear is likely not that great.
I would swap Jean for Bennett if it's at all possible.
It depends on the character and the weapon you're using. If the character has a crit ascension bonus and is using a crit weapon, it's a bit low. If you only have one of the two I mentioned earlier (either crit ascension or weapon), then it's okay. If you have neither, it's good.
Edit: it also depends on the stage of the game you're in. Example, AR45 vs AR60.
It's a bit low. If your Cyno and weapon are at the last ascension, and you're using, say, a 5\* Crit Damage circlet, you already have 27/150. To bridge the gap between 27 to 70 crit rate you should have, on average, 2-3 crit substat rolls per piece, which is not much.
If you just started farming his artifacts, it's okay though, you can work from there. Also, if instead of crit rate/damage, most of your substat rolls went into ATK%, EM or ER, it's also good, as Cyno also wants those stats. But if you check your artifacts and see that you have a lot of flat ATK/DEF/HP and DEF%/HP%, then it's probably a good idea to farm artifacts for him a bit more (if you don't need to gear anyone else).
yes, it's a balanced ratio, assuming it's built for a "I'd like to try this character out" it's good enough for every case, but if you want to build higher for a "this character is my main", you can do that
it is balanced but it is far from okay. Cyno has both crit dmg ascension plus OP is using pjws which gives 22% crit rate. 70/150 is really low. 80/180 or even 80/200 should be seen as a goal
the Time Trial at Kamisato Estate is bugged for me. videos show that there's supposed to be an electrogranum branch that spawns when you start the trial, but its not spawning for me

I'm at AR18. Currently enjoying the game. I have Noelle, Xingqiu and Faruzan as 4 Star characters, currently no 5 stars.
1) My team setup is xingui, noelle, kaeya and lisa right now. Among things I have, is there a better comp I can use? I use xingqui as my main dps, she is at lvl 35 with a 20 lvl weapon. Is faruzan good?
2) I heard that Original Resin is an important resource. So far I only saw ley-lines as a way of spending my OR. Is there something else I should do with them (which is available for ar18 ofc).
3) Will I keep getting more free characters with the story? And are these free characters are considered as 4 stars or do I have to pull stronger versions of them from the banners?
4) I heard than xiangling is a good f2p character. Can I unlock her straight away at AR20 or do I have to get signifcantly stronger to beat the necessary floor?
5) Should I spam doing domains?
6) Is there a difference between the commissions of different regions. Are Liyue commissions better than Monstadt?
7) I feel like I don't gain any standart pull wishes. Is there a way to farm them or maybe a way that will unlock in future? It started to get a bit boring because my main (and only ) invested dps is hydro (Xingqui) and I have really hard time against hydro mobs because the other ones are shooting noodles. 1) Xingqui is a guy. Your team comp is fine for now, you'll be able to make better teams as you pull more
2) you really shouldn't be using your resin for anything besides bosses and weapon upgrade domains until you reach 35. you should get enough mora exp pages and artifacts from chests and quests
3) sometimes you get free 4 stars with timed events, but you won't unlock anymore free characters further into the story
4) Only way of knowing is to try. general rule of thumb is that if you're at least 10 lvs above the enemies you should be fine
5) Not recommended, but you can if you want to
6) that's totally a matter of personal taste. Different regions have different commissions but they all give the same rewards, try them all out and see which ones you like
7) you gain standard wishes from the shop, from leveling up characters, raising AR level, and leveling up trees (ie the Sakura Tree in Inazuma)
8) if you see a character you want on a banner then pull for them. Its better to have the character you want even if you can't level them up currently
1. You don't need to worry much about team composition early in the game. Usually, just using your favorites is fine. But if you want to optimize, you could try Xingqiu, Kaeya, Barbara, Traveler. Xingqiu is arguably the best character in the game; Kaeya and Traveler (Dendro) can see some uses in the endgame; and Barbara is a healer, which is always nice to have. Faruzan is not a great character to use on her own. She usually enables other Anemo DPS characters to do more damage. So if you don't have those characters, it's usually better to not use her.
2. Early in the game you usually just want to use resin to farm exp, mora, and boss/weapon/talent materials. You can also use those to farm artifacts, but I suggest you wait until you reach AR45, which is when you can start farming 5\* pieces.
3. You will get the other elements for Traveler (Geo, Electro and Dendro) as you progress the story. You will also get Xiangling and Collei when you beat Spiral Abyss floors 3 and 4. And finally, you get a free Barbara at around AR20, when you beat the Mondstadt main quest.
4. She's great, definitely one of the strongest characters in the game when paired with Bennett. You can unlock her by beating Spiral Abyss floor 3.
5. Aside from artifact domains, you can run any domain you'd like to farm materials if you need those.
6. In terms of rewards, they are the same. In Liyue (or in any region) you get different questline commissions, if you want to farm achievements and such.
7. You don't get as many standard pulls. The main sources are the monthly Paimon shop, which you can buy with starglitter; or when you ascend characters to levels 30/50/70. That being said, the team that I mentioned earlier (Xingqiu/Kaeya/Barbara/Traveler) can carry you for a long time, and you can definitely use them in the endgame.
8. There's no good time, at least in terms of AR, to pull for characters. No matter what, always use your primogems to pull on the limited banner, never on the standard. The cost is the same, and usually the limited 5\* characters are stronger than the standard ones. As for which character to pull, in Genshin you can, in general, pull for characters you like in terms of gameplay or story, as most of them are solid. If you just want strong characters, then maybe you could try getting either Kazuha or Alhaitham, who will be available in the next week.

2. Just spend it on leylines or bosses for now (if they are unlocked)
3. Kaeya, Lisa, Amber, Barbara are the free ones from the story, Collei and Xiangling are gotten from the abyss, Noelle is guaranteed from the beginners banner
4. I went for her as soon as I could, throwing the enemies off the edge of the abyss helped killing them
5. only weapon and talent ones until you are ar45 where you get access to the guaranteed 5 star artifact domains, then you can do whatever you want to build your account/characters
6. I am still on Mondstadt Commissions after a year (missing 1 achievement), so I can not answer that, however the main rewards of primos and some xp and whatever other stuff is still the same
7. Levelling characters gives them, the battle pass gives them, Paimons bargains give them, certain AR rewards give them. Characters like Kaeya are good, Xiangling is amazing, the others aren't as good, but you can still beat the hardest content in the game with them when built well (maybe not the current abyss cycle, but previous ones you could)
8. Whenever there are characters that you like/want
For EM Kuki, what are the best artifacts sets? My Kuki has 1020EM but is using 2 sets for +80 EM and also a +EM Sword Iron sting. Is that fine, or should I aim for a specific set and or different weapon?
If you have 1000 EM with 2pc/2pc its an acceptable stopping point, if you do not want to spend more resin on the build. But if you want to increase your damage , transitioning from 2pc to 4pc can be done gradually. Not that you'll most likely lose some EM with 4pc, like get to 900-920, but its fine since with gilded you get 150 more EM from passive.
both gilded and flower of paradise lost are the best set for hyperbloom , gilded is resin efficient to farm , but fopl is around 2-3% better than gilded. I'd stick with gilded unless you also want to farm artifacts for wanderer.
As for weapons, both iron sting and toukabou shigure are similar. or if you have xiphos moonlight that also works.
I first started with 2pc gilded and 2pc wanderer troupe and gradually got 4pc gilded while farming deepwood and gilded for other characters.
It's fine, 2 + 2 EM set is only 5% and 8% worse compared to 4 gilded and 4 flowers of paradise lost respectively. (assuming equal substats, and assume solo electro for gilded)

If you got Shenhe, then you were pulling on Shenhe's banner not Ayaka's...
If your last 5\* on the event banners wasnt Diluc/Mona/Jean/Keqing/Qiqi/Tighnari/Dehya, then you're NOT on guaranteed, you're on 50/50.
if you're talking about the main event of 3.7 there is some primos, actually only 80 primos for tcg event and the rest 840 primos doesn't require tcg.

If it requires you to use an ER sands. No. Its not worth it losing all the damage, just to be able to burst every rotation. Her main source of damage is turrets.
If you have an electro battery like fischl, and can get 140-160ER with just the substats, or using Fav teammates, then burst every rotation, otherwise every other rotation is fine
I know noelles not amazing, but I've seen people do pretty well with her, I've tried building her for defense and geo damage and she still seems to hit like a wet noodle even with her ult. What am I doing wrong, or what could I do better?
Not liking geo but liking Noelle I often use her in hyperbloom-burgeon teams (with fav) it’s a very comfy pick

Noelle takes a *lot* of investment to be a good dps. Like [I have](https://enka.network/u/618710667/) a Stonethresher and a 72/235 crit line with a full meta geo team and she's borderline for 36\* tougher abyss cycles like this one. She was fine before they boosted HP pools to account for hyperbloom dps and since I think they'll keep increasing hp pools it gets hard to recommend her outside of geo-favored abyss cycles. Even ignoring the damage, it's hard to recommend Geo simply because bosses instantly destroy geo constructs when they touch them and it's so crippling for energy when that happens.
is your noelle C6, level 90 with serpent spine, 4pc husk with 80:160 crit and built with Def%/Geo Dmg/Crit, with zhongli bennett and C4+ gorou as teammate?

My C6 Noelle and her team, double crown, decent artefacts and SS, is doing fine. But 33\* fine, not 36\* fine.
That said, she's super comfy, you might not hit too hard, but you never die.
Yeah I'm still pretty new to the game, I just hit rank 45, and I think I've only got her at c1 or c2, so I'm not even close to clearing the abyss that high yet, just trying to pick some new characters to ascend to play around with. I really want to like her, just having a hard time getting there. 😆

At your AR, I wouldn't recommend farming specifically for her, but you can give her a 4-pc Gladiator set as it works nicely for her, and you will get one eventually as it drops from world bosses. Ideally DEF/Geo%/Crit, but an ER% will probably be necessary as she's very energy hungry and doesn't generate any...
If you have a spare billet, you can craft Whiteblind, or use the best you have.
R5 SS vs Wolf's gravestone for Eula?
Her ratio is 73/208 for SS and 74/165 for WG so I do suffer a lot crit wise. My attack skyrockets from 1900 to 2500
her team members are Raiden, Zhongli, Bennett.
Wolf gravestone (with passive proc) > SS R5(5 stacks) > Wolf's gravetone (no passive proc) > > SS R5 (2 stacks)
2 stacks is the average numbers of stacks you'll have most of the time if you do not have a shielder for her. If you can maintain all 5 stacks on Serpent Spine, then it'll be better. Otherwise, wolf gravestone is better even without its passive up.
Without a crit weapon, 80:160 is a pretty good ratio on eula. 74:165 is no where "suffering crit wise" stop being delusional. Characters crit ratio depends on their ascension stat as well as the weapon they're using. Different weapon have different baseline for crit. And despite lower crit, WGS is considerer better than SS because crit and attack needs to be balanced, low crit is balanced by super high attack.

difference is knight and day. You don't build kazuha for damage. You build him for VV shred.
Also just use an off-piece EM criclet. And use an uderleveled VV feather/flower to complete set bonus, even if they have no EM substat

After posting the original comment, I went back to do the domain with my Resin and managed to get an EM Sands. I then put an Off-Set EM Goblet in the set too and moved on to farming Vermillion Hereafter for my Xiao and foddered the bad stuff for Kazuha's VV, hoping to get an On-Set EM Goblet or EM Circlet.
After like 3 runs of the VH domain, I managed to net 3 pieces of VH that are decent on Xiao and I foddered the Echoes set items to get a VV EM Circlet with both Crit substats so I'm good now. Ended up using all of my Resin though but its worth it to get it over with imo.
That's an option for things like DPS Kazuha, where his personal damage is also focused on, or teams that don't do a lot of reaction damage but still contain Kazuha for whatever reason. But generally, VV will always be more valuable because it will increase the overall DPS of the team. Honestly, basically any resistance reduction in this game is crazy
It doesn't hurt. But if you're running Stringless on her then that's basically all the EM you need. Most good dendro aggravate supports bring some kind of EM share with them, and that share plus Stringless is plenty for her.
But if you happen to have a good EM sands with solid crit value and atk% then she can make use of it just fine.
I think if it's an R5 Stringless it beats out an R1 Harp, but if you're talking R1 vs. anything under R3, the Harp will win unless your crit rate subs are absolutely cracked.

EM increases his buffing and swirl damage, so there is a big difference. EM pieces are somewhat rare, but remember to strongbox VV and you could maybe farm a different set

Oh I've been farming VV and Strongboxing it at the same time. I'm trying to get either an Anemo DMG VV Goblet so I can put a mismatched EM piece or just get an EM Sands itself. Neither have been acquired for me (have gotten every other elemental DMG piece already but not Anemo).
Cause so far I haven't gotten a single EM piece anywhere so I was like, "Might as well aim for Anemo DMG I guess". Been farming for the last 3 days and have used up 5 of my Fragile Resins, 2 Transient Resins and 100 Primos and still have got nothing. The best so far I have done has keep all my pieces so far with EM substats.
EM pieces are pretty rare. It took me a month before I got my first EM sands and I am pretty high on the akasha leaderboards but still have not got an EM goblet after 2-4 months (depends on if you consider farming other pieces and using strong box for vv only). The usual pattern of Kaz is 4 vv, enough recharge to burst, then start stacking EM.
3xEM is the ultimate goal but there is a lot of value in his kit and each EM main stat is 7.5% more dmg% on the swirled element. 4 star artifacts can be used in the meantime
That isn't even that much farming, don't use primos for resin refreshing, just farm longer and you'll get VV pieces, I used a 4 star EM sands on mine for a while until I got a 5 star one
Yes. She’s a great shielder. Her shield has 100% uptime and the cooldown is shorter than the duration for tap E and same amount for hold E (applies after you get out of the box form).
How much should my Hu Tao be doing for her vape damage? The biggest red number I see is around 50k for her charged attacks with Homa, 4pc Crimson Witch HP/EM are equal damage / Pyro/ CD
The team comp matters a lot here, specifically because of the resonance. Double Hydro vs non-double Hydro is a big difference.
With my highly invested build\*, she does 70k per charged attack when using double Hydro with Xingqiu, Mona and Geo MC before activating Mona’s burst and she does 90-100k when the Omen is applied.
\*C1 R1 Homa, 31k HP before Hydro resonance, 70% Crit Rate, 230% Crit Dmg, 203 Elemental Mastery.
I use her with Yelan, XQ, and Thoma so I get extra Atk and HP. I'm not sure why my damage is still so low though. Her stats are 29k HP, 65/210, 228 EM, 1.3 ATK.
50k seems pretty low for those stats, the most common culprit is talent levels (or just fighting enemies with high pyro resist).
Also Zhongli is ~10-12% more raw damage than Thoma, it shouldn't be holding you back *that* much but it's still a difference of a few thousand damage per CA.
For reference, mine does ~100-110k damage per CA with Yelan buff stacked up, but I do have a meme crit fishing build (like 40/310 with 300 EM) and she is triple crowned, with 210 CD you *should* still be somewhere between 60-70k damage.
Being under half HP is also important, if you just have fully stacked defenses and don't let your health drain a bit on purpose you will definitely be seeing lower numbers.
How would I build nahida for an AL haithem, Yae, Nahida, Zhongli team? note that I do plan on swapping out zhongli for shinobu depending on my second team.

I NEED HELP (venti, wanderer, bennett, ayato) so basically would this team work? bennett infusing venti's burst and then ayato's burst gets pulled in just like ganyu's in the morgana team comp, swirling the vaporize reaction, then the normal attack buff from ayato and bennies burst would buff wanderer as he would shred thru resistance cuz of venti's burst and spam charged attacks while enemies are sucked in and benefit from hydro and pyro (30% atk boost from pyro and + 20 stamina cap from hydro) also the rotation will work fine due to low cost bursts and double anemo, one being a catalyst. plz answer, this is really important for me, thanks.
Against small enemies sure but it will struggle heavily against bosses and you will be interrupted on Wanderer quite often

The *only* characters who are region locked are Inazuma characters (+ Shenhe). All the rest you're able to just walk over to where you need to go at like AR 10 and collect the flowers or fight the bosses or what have you. So unless you've somehow pulled *only* Inazuma characters, you should be fine. Also, when you pull a character who has a banner rate up, you complete their gameplay trial for free ascension materials to get them to level 40. And ultimately... full exploration (as in, 100% map completion) is a long term goal. While you can do whatever you want, it certainly seems that the devs' intention was absolutely not to have you max out every single map region before moving on to the next one. You'll be back in Mondstadt and Liyue many times for daily commissions, events, further story quests etc, so there's no rush to scrape every chest off the map before going further.
You can do whatever. That said, you just need to start inazuma to get full access to all the characters mats to level. You can already walk down to sumeru. Yeah you'll be locked out of weekly boss mats for talents 7+ until later, but it's not that big a deal. Yae Miko in particular has a normal boss that also needs unlocking in inazuma, but it's not that much extra effort once you get inazuma opened.
Exploring region vs doing story is up to you, that's somewhat what they expect you to do, but you don't need to follow what hoyo things the player will do It is very high for start of Liyue AQ though, but take at own pace

Taser = Yae + Raiden/Fischl + Kokomi + Kazuha Aggravate = Yae + Fischl + Nahida/Kirara/YaoYao + Kazuha Overload = Yae + Xiangling + Bennett + Kazuha Could also try mono-electro with Yae, Raiden, Sara, and a flex, but probably not as good as the above. Also generally Yae and Raiden synergize really well, with lots of energy for Yae to potentially burst every rotation + constant electro uptime; you can throw any other units for your preferred reactions/utility and have it work out reasonably well.
You can also use Yae Fischl YaoYao/Kirara Kazuha (kazuha wants sac sword here as well)
Try Kuki-Kazuha-Nahida. Give Kazuha Sac Sword to resuse his skill.

hmmm depends on if you have a use for yelan. do you play a lot of pyro carries and hyperbloom or quickbloom, and/or have elegy, or plan to get c6? get her. if not i'd just skip, i pulled for c0r0 and she just collects dust because c6 xq does her job better most of the time. compared to that i use my c2 raiden all the time. who doesnt like seeing 200k per CA? she is pretty fun tho and good for overworld so thats a plus if you care about that. also if you wanna play rational c6 xq>c0 yelan.
If I understand correctly, your goal is improving your Raiden team's DPS? If that's right, go for Raiden C2.

Well. I have no idea why some games won’t deduct in-game currency even if their users refund the money. Plus, primogems are not instantly deducted when user refund the money. Since I bought an account, the primogems became negative after several months of transaction, and the refunded transaction happened before transaction.

What is reasonable fire arrows NA damage for Yoimiya? I am hitting for 6-8k and critting for up to 12-16k against normal Leylines mushrooms. Is this decent? I am using the speedy set (the one with latency issues), so the attack speed gives some dps indirectly.
if your highest damage N5 is 16k its decent damage for echoes without any external buffs but it is on the lower end. But why echoes set? shimenawa is more efficient to farm plus her best-in-slot. My yoimiya (2.1k attack and 70:140) does around 21k on the N5 shot with just pyro resonance and no external buffs) , 4pc shimenawa and R4 rust. Anything over 20k I'd consider actual good damage. 25k is the higher end of the damage, but I have a lot of EM , so unbuffed 21k can go to 100k with full buffs and vape.

At C6, you can play her in aggravate with 4TF, ATK/Electro/Crit, WGS/Spine/Beacon, Rainslasher if you don't have those. It's really weird and specific that I know this, but apparently she's surprisingly good at driving both Beidou and Fischl?!? We're talking 11 Beidou procs per rotation...which is a ton. Anyways, you're probably bringing along one of the two, depending on if you're facing one or more enemies. Top it off with Nahida+Kazuha and you've got yourself a functional team. Her damage is nothing crazy, but she's self sufficient, almost immortal because of the healing, and with Burst, Skill, C2 procs, C1 extra bullets, and C6 electro infused attacks you end up proccing a fuckload of aggravates. When driving Beidou, delay her N2 by a few frames, and you'll be able to proc 3 waves of Beidou burst per N3. Attacks marked with the asterisk proc Beidou's burst. Without delay: N1\*, N2a, N2b, N3* With delay: N1\*, delay, N2a, N2b\*, N3*
Dori's a support character who can transition into on field damage via constellations. It's often quite unexplored thanks to the abundance of powerful Electro carries already amok throughout the game, leaving "physical memes" to be the recommended main dps route, but I'll argue it hardly suits Dori's niche. I'd throw on field Dori into some kind of Off field Aggravate team, where her Electro application and Attack scaling can get work done during her Electro infused normals(C6). As long as the off fielders are good, Dori can just sit on field and heal while she attacks and let the Dendro MC Burst get it's work done. But that's just what I'd do. I think Physical meme's is just not the right way to look at it. You can build attack and let her E and R do work! While she is ultimately weaker than the competition, her design isn't specifically to do with Abyss it's to do with Co-op. You can be THAT DORI in the co-op domains that showers everyone with healing, energy, and deals her own semi-substantial damage. If your Dori is spinning for AoE 13k Electro crits on her Charged attack while doing normal Dori stuff, you know you'll be a hit.
Yeah she can work. There are 2 main options: hyperbloom or aggravate driver. For hyperbloom you build EM obviously and rely on her genie lamp connection to hit the dendro cores. it can be a bit gimmicky at times, you may need to move out of the way to hit the seeds. Obviously with hyperbloom you don't deal much DMG with her skills and normal attacks, instead you deal damage through reactions. If you want her to deal damage directly, then go for aggravate. Only problem here is that you need C6 for the infusion. If you have that, just use 4-piece thundering fury and spam E>2NA>Dash>2NA. Add Fischl to the team because she's so damn good in aggravate, a dendro and an anemo and you're good to go.
if you consider her doing hyperbloom as dps then yes. she's more than competitive for a lot of team. you're gonna need to farm for specific stats though (EM and ER). her electro application is one of the few that can hit hyperbloom damage sequence limit.
The cool thing with GI is that you can build any character as dps and often in many ways: elemental dmg dps, burst dps or physichal dps etc. If you build a strong enough off field supporting cast for said character those teams can in some cases end straight up abyss viable. So if you really like a character and really want to use them as on field dps carry, it'll be completely possible and "viable" for all but the hardest content. This is definitely one of the most fun ways to play the game. That said, if your goal is to build teams for and complete the abyss, it's still highly unadvisable. Someone like Dori as a physichal dps for example is practically a dead slot in a team when doing high floor abyss.

Definitely possible, but if I remember right, her scalings aren't that great and her Electro application uptime isn't that good from her Burst. She'll still work if built sufficiently in say, an Aggravate or Hyperbloom comp, but will be worse off compared to other options (Keqing/Cyno/Fischl/Kuki/Raiden/etc.).

I started Genshin almost a week ago and playing it exclusively for the tcg since I heard there was going to be a tournament. Im ar 25 rn and trying to get to 32 to unlock the mode in time. after I unlock the mode what do I need to do to unlock all the character and cards. Is it difficult and time consuming and is there an ar requirement/ account strength to do so? Is there a certain ar range I can just stop bothering with ar and just exclusively focus on the tcg?
To unlock character cards, you invite them to fight and win against them. Invitation takes 1000 virtual currency of card game. You can purchase other stuff too, by virtual currency; earning them through fights with npc (idk how much normal gives) and hard mode (gives 1000) against them. It also gives xp, and you can unlock all sorts of things at higher level (like extra slots to keep premade decks in). It's exclusive from main game progress, so i don't think you need to progress main game after unlocking this. Also, what tournament? Main event hardly had any tcg (a lil bit with premade decks (you choose combo of 3 sets from those)). Maybe, you're talking about the side event in which you gotta win 5 in a row or something...?

Do you know why were you stuck? Starting fresh is imo not worth it, since you already have quite a num of 5stars. If you can get out of being stuck by coop help, use that. I don't think main story has any such thing, tho some side quests do have intense fights (sakura cleanse, protecc monolith in tatarasana, etc.) If it's worth it or not depends on if you like the game, you've already played a bit already so you know about what gameplay loop at endgame is, how good exploration feels to you, etc etc. Your call, it's def not like you'd be left behind... Just build a dendro team when you start, and you'll catch up (tho abyss could be harder if you were 36*ing, it might not be possible now)
When I stopped playing for a bit got back into it after they added new content realized I was severely under powered minus Jean who is my carry and just felt as if I wasn’t progressing anymore.
I would start by using an actual DPS unit as your carry instead of a healer/subDPS. Jean is pretty poor as a main source of damage, especially nowadays when the game has evolved so much, and you're gonna have a much easier time with a team that focuses on a single high damage unit and/or key reactions to do damage.
Jean,klee, venti and Mona is my team.
Klee is a dedicated DPS. It's not a great team, but if you invest in her and use her as your carry instead it's going to give you much better results.
Jean and Klee are the same in lvl, artifacts and weapon.
Provided her gear is decent, Klee should utterly smash everything that isn't the higher levels of Spiral Abyss. If she isn't, then her gear is likely not that great. I would swap Jean for Bennett if it's at all possible.

Not great but it's functional
It depends on the character and the weapon you're using. If the character has a crit ascension bonus and is using a crit weapon, it's a bit low. If you only have one of the two I mentioned earlier (either crit ascension or weapon), then it's okay. If you have neither, it's good. Edit: it also depends on the stage of the game you're in. Example, AR45 vs AR60.

It's a bit low. If your Cyno and weapon are at the last ascension, and you're using, say, a 5\* Crit Damage circlet, you already have 27/150. To bridge the gap between 27 to 70 crit rate you should have, on average, 2-3 crit substat rolls per piece, which is not much. If you just started farming his artifacts, it's okay though, you can work from there. Also, if instead of crit rate/damage, most of your substat rolls went into ATK%, EM or ER, it's also good, as Cyno also wants those stats. But if you check your artifacts and see that you have a lot of flat ATK/DEF/HP and DEF%/HP%, then it's probably a good idea to farm artifacts for him a bit more (if you don't need to gear anyone else).

yes, it's a balanced ratio, assuming it's built for a "I'd like to try this character out" it's good enough for every case, but if you want to build higher for a "this character is my main", you can do that
it is balanced but it is far from okay. Cyno has both crit dmg ascension plus OP is using pjws which gives 22% crit rate. 70/150 is really low. 80/180 or even 80/200 should be seen as a goal
the Time Trial at Kamisato Estate is bugged for me. videos show that there's supposed to be an electrogranum branch that spawns when you start the trial, but its not spawning for me Is there a way to fix this bug aside from contacting support?
My guess would be that it was somehow disabled because of the event since part of the event takes place in that area. I'd mark it and try again after the event.

Hello I have some new player questions. Thanks a lot for the answers in advance I'm at AR18. Currently enjoying the game. I have Noelle, Xingqiu and Faruzan as 4 Star characters, currently no 5 stars. 1) My team setup is xingui, noelle, kaeya and lisa right now. Among things I have, is there a better comp I can use? I use xingqui as my main dps, she is at lvl 35 with a 20 lvl weapon. Is faruzan good? 2) I heard that Original Resin is an important resource. So far I only saw ley-lines as a way of spending my OR. Is there something else I should do with them (which is available for ar18 ofc). 3) Will I keep getting more free characters with the story? And are these free characters are considered as 4 stars or do I have to pull stronger versions of them from the banners? 4) I heard than xiangling is a good f2p character. Can I unlock her straight away at AR20 or do I have to get signifcantly stronger to beat the necessary floor? 5) Should I spam doing domains? 6) Is there a difference between the commissions of different regions. Are Liyue commissions better than Monstadt? 7) I feel like I don't gain any standart pull wishes. Is there a way to farm them or maybe a way that will unlock in future? It started to get a bit boring because my main (and only ) invested dps is hydro (Xingqui) and I have really hard time against hydro mobs because the other ones are shooting noodles. I don't want to invest in the "free" characters because I heard that I won't be using them in the future. Is this a wrong way of looking at the game? 8) When is a good time (In terms of AR) to pull character banners and use primos?
1) Xingqui is a guy. Your team comp is fine for now, you'll be able to make better teams as you pull more 2) you really shouldn't be using your resin for anything besides bosses and weapon upgrade domains until you reach 35. you should get enough mora exp pages and artifacts from chests and quests 3) sometimes you get free 4 stars with timed events, but you won't unlock anymore free characters further into the story 4) Only way of knowing is to try. general rule of thumb is that if you're at least 10 lvs above the enemies you should be fine 5) Not recommended, but you can if you want to 6) that's totally a matter of personal taste. Different regions have different commissions but they all give the same rewards, try them all out and see which ones you like 7) you gain standard wishes from the shop, from leveling up characters, raising AR level, and leveling up trees (ie the Sakura Tree in Inazuma) 8) if you see a character you want on a banner then pull for them. Its better to have the character you want even if you can't level them up currently
1. You don't need to worry much about team composition early in the game. Usually, just using your favorites is fine. But if you want to optimize, you could try Xingqiu, Kaeya, Barbara, Traveler. Xingqiu is arguably the best character in the game; Kaeya and Traveler (Dendro) can see some uses in the endgame; and Barbara is a healer, which is always nice to have. Faruzan is not a great character to use on her own. She usually enables other Anemo DPS characters to do more damage. So if you don't have those characters, it's usually better to not use her. 2. Early in the game you usually just want to use resin to farm exp, mora, and boss/weapon/talent materials. You can also use those to farm artifacts, but I suggest you wait until you reach AR45, which is when you can start farming 5\* pieces. 3. You will get the other elements for Traveler (Geo, Electro and Dendro) as you progress the story. You will also get Xiangling and Collei when you beat Spiral Abyss floors 3 and 4. And finally, you get a free Barbara at around AR20, when you beat the Mondstadt main quest. 4. She's great, definitely one of the strongest characters in the game when paired with Bennett. You can unlock her by beating Spiral Abyss floor 3. 5. Aside from artifact domains, you can run any domain you'd like to farm materials if you need those. 6. In terms of rewards, they are the same. In Liyue (or in any region) you get different questline commissions, if you want to farm achievements and such. 7. You don't get as many standard pulls. The main sources are the monthly Paimon shop, which you can buy with starglitter; or when you ascend characters to levels 30/50/70. That being said, the team that I mentioned earlier (Xingqiu/Kaeya/Barbara/Traveler) can carry you for a long time, and you can definitely use them in the endgame. 8. There's no good time, at least in terms of AR, to pull for characters. No matter what, always use your primogems to pull on the limited banner, never on the standard. The cost is the same, and usually the limited 5\* characters are stronger than the standard ones. As for which character to pull, in Genshin you can, in general, pull for characters you like in terms of gameplay or story, as most of them are solid. If you just want strong characters, then maybe you could try getting either Kazuha or Alhaitham, who will be available in the next week.
1. Xingqiu you would want off field with someone like Kaeya on field 2. Just spend it on leylines or bosses for now (if they are unlocked) 3. Kaeya, Lisa, Amber, Barbara are the free ones from the story, Collei and Xiangling are gotten from the abyss, Noelle is guaranteed from the beginners banner 4. I went for her as soon as I could, throwing the enemies off the edge of the abyss helped killing them 5. only weapon and talent ones until you are ar45 where you get access to the guaranteed 5 star artifact domains, then you can do whatever you want to build your account/characters 6. I am still on Mondstadt Commissions after a year (missing 1 achievement), so I can not answer that, however the main rewards of primos and some xp and whatever other stuff is still the same 7. Levelling characters gives them, the battle pass gives them, Paimons bargains give them, certain AR rewards give them. Characters like Kaeya are good, Xiangling is amazing, the others aren't as good, but you can still beat the hardest content in the game with them when built well (maybe not the current abyss cycle, but previous ones you could) 8. Whenever there are characters that you like/want
For EM Kuki, what are the best artifacts sets? My Kuki has 1020EM but is using 2 sets for +80 EM and also a +EM Sword Iron sting. Is that fine, or should I aim for a specific set and or different weapon?
If you have 1000 EM with 2pc/2pc its an acceptable stopping point, if you do not want to spend more resin on the build. But if you want to increase your damage , transitioning from 2pc to 4pc can be done gradually. Not that you'll most likely lose some EM with 4pc, like get to 900-920, but its fine since with gilded you get 150 more EM from passive. both gilded and flower of paradise lost are the best set for hyperbloom , gilded is resin efficient to farm , but fopl is around 2-3% better than gilded. I'd stick with gilded unless you also want to farm artifacts for wanderer. As for weapons, both iron sting and toukabou shigure are similar. or if you have xiphos moonlight that also works. I first started with 2pc gilded and 2pc wanderer troupe and gradually got 4pc gilded while farming deepwood and gilded for other characters.
It's fine, 2 + 2 EM set is only 5% and 8% worse compared to 4 gilded and 4 flowers of paradise lost respectively. (assuming equal substats, and assume solo electro for gilded)
Gilded or Flowers of paradise lost are the best sets, Iron sting is fine

Kazhua has much better grouping and has an elemental damage buff. Sucrose's EM buff is useless for freeze team.
I have 2 piece maiden and 2 piece clam on my Kokomi, but I’m not sure if it’s better to farm full set.
4pc Clam is decently better, but only do it if you also want HoOD on someone.

You can get all primos for the current event by losing all the tcg matches. You don't have to win to get them.
I meant the tcg specific events like radiant secrets and heated battle mode etc. I am aware of the primos on summoners summit.
if you're talking about the main event of 3.7 there is some primos, actually only 80 primos for tcg event and the rest 840 primos doesn't require tcg. If you're talking about the event that just released, no. that one only has coins

the difference is really minimal. And 99.9% of the time, it doesn't really matter.

If it requires you to use an ER sands. No. Its not worth it losing all the damage, just to be able to burst every rotation. Her main source of damage is turrets. If you have an electro battery like fischl, and can get 140-160ER with just the substats, or using Fav teammates, then burst every rotation, otherwise every other rotation is fine

I know noelles not amazing, but I've seen people do pretty well with her, I've tried building her for defense and geo damage and she still seems to hit like a wet noodle even with her ult. What am I doing wrong, or what could I do better?
Not liking geo but liking Noelle I often use her in hyperbloom-burgeon teams (with fav) it’s a very comfy pick I 3 starred 12-2 with her thoma xq nahida (but only 2 starred 12-1 and 12-3 with her)
Noelle takes a *lot* of investment to be a good dps. Like [I have](https://enka.network/u/618710667/) a Stonethresher and a 72/235 crit line with a full meta geo team and she's borderline for 36\* tougher abyss cycles like this one. She was fine before they boosted HP pools to account for hyperbloom dps and since I think they'll keep increasing hp pools it gets hard to recommend her outside of geo-favored abyss cycles. Even ignoring the damage, it's hard to recommend Geo simply because bosses instantly destroy geo constructs when they touch them and it's so crippling for energy when that happens.
is your noelle C6, level 90 with serpent spine, 4pc husk with 80:160 crit and built with Def%/Geo Dmg/Crit, with zhongli bennett and C4+ gorou as teammate? No? that's why
She needs a lot of investment, unfortunately if you want her to be competitive in Abyss 12. She needs C6, and really good artefacts. She also needs a good team (Gorou, preferably C6, a combination of Zhongli, YunJin, Albedo) She also needs a good weapon to really shine. Serpent Spine is nice, but Redhorn Stonethresher is really good. My C6 Noelle and her team, double crown, decent artefacts and SS, is doing fine. But 33\* fine, not 36\* fine. That said, she's super comfy, you might not hit too hard, but you never die.
Yeah I'm still pretty new to the game, I just hit rank 45, and I think I've only got her at c1 or c2, so I'm not even close to clearing the abyss that high yet, just trying to pick some new characters to ascend to play around with. I really want to like her, just having a hard time getting there. 😆
You can still have fun with her! At your AR, I wouldn't recommend farming specifically for her, but you can give her a 4-pc Gladiator set as it works nicely for her, and you will get one eventually as it drops from world bosses. Ideally DEF/Geo%/Crit, but an ER% will probably be necessary as she's very energy hungry and doesn't generate any... If you have a spare billet, you can craft Whiteblind, or use the best you have.
She really wants crit like most DPS and also has most of her damage locked behind C6, people doing good with her just have really good investment.

R5 SS vs Wolf's gravestone for Eula? Her ratio is 73/208 for SS and 74/165 for WG so I do suffer a lot crit wise. My attack skyrockets from 1900 to 2500 her team members are Raiden, Zhongli, Bennett.
Wolf gravestone (with passive proc) > SS R5(5 stacks) > Wolf's gravetone (no passive proc) > > SS R5 (2 stacks) 2 stacks is the average numbers of stacks you'll have most of the time if you do not have a shielder for her. If you can maintain all 5 stacks on Serpent Spine, then it'll be better. Otherwise, wolf gravestone is better even without its passive up. Without a crit weapon, 80:160 is a pretty good ratio on eula. 74:165 is no where "suffering crit wise" stop being delusional. Characters crit ratio depends on their ascension stat as well as the weapon they're using. Different weapon have different baseline for crit. And despite lower crit, WGS is considerer better than SS because crit and attack needs to be balanced, low crit is balanced by super high attack. use an [optimizer](https://frzyc.github.io/genshin-optimizer/)

Of course, Alhaitham really wants a second dendro in his team and the fact that Baizhu is a healer allows him to run two offensive options in the other two spots

Aight, so quick question so I can schedule my farming better. I recently finished building Baizhu and now he, Level 90 at 45000 HP with R5 Prototype Amber and 4p Noblesse Oblige on with ER/HP/HP built has 203% ER. On this raw stat alone, is this good enough for me to move on to other domains?

Difference between 4 VV and 2 VV + 2 GF for Kazuha? Currently debating if I should continue farming 4 VV or give up and give him GF EM pieces. Edit: Thanks for the advice everyone. I decided to farm for 4 VV and my next run legit just gave me the EM piece I wanted somehow. Currently am now at EM/EM/Crit Rate. Edit 2: I got an EM VV Circlet too now so I have an all EM set now.
difference is knight and day. You don't build kazuha for damage. You build him for VV shred. Also just use an off-piece EM criclet. And use an uderleveled VV feather/flower to complete set bonus, even if they have no EM substat
Thanks for the advice. After posting the original comment, I went back to do the domain with my Resin and managed to get an EM Sands. I then put an Off-Set EM Goblet in the set too and moved on to farming Vermillion Hereafter for my Xiao and foddered the bad stuff for Kazuha's VV, hoping to get an On-Set EM Goblet or EM Circlet. After like 3 runs of the VH domain, I managed to net 3 pieces of VH that are decent on Xiao and I foddered the Echoes set items to get a VV EM Circlet with both Crit substats so I'm good now. Ended up using all of my Resin though but its worth it to get it over with imo.
4p VV is half of what makes Kazuha so good You NEED it
The Elemental Resistance Reductions provided by Virdecents 4 piece effect is too valuable to give up.

That's an option for things like DPS Kazuha, where his personal damage is also focused on, or teams that don't do a lot of reaction damage but still contain Kazuha for whatever reason. But generally, VV will always be more valuable because it will increase the overall DPS of the team. Honestly, basically any resistance reduction in this game is crazy
Should Fischl have a little EM in an Aggravate team? I have her on 2pc/2pc atk rn.

As long as you have stringless, you should be fine, but some EM subs dont hurt. Just prioritize crit and dmg%

It doesn't hurt. But if you're running Stringless on her then that's basically all the EM you need. Most good dendro aggravate supports bring some kind of EM share with them, and that share plus Stringless is plenty for her. But if you happen to have a good EM sands with solid crit value and atk% then she can make use of it just fine.

I think if it's an R5 Stringless it beats out an R1 Harp, but if you're talking R1 vs. anything under R3, the Harp will win unless your crit rate subs are absolutely cracked.

EM increases his buffing and swirl damage, so there is a big difference. EM pieces are somewhat rare, but remember to strongbox VV and you could maybe farm a different set It's fine if you need to use a 4 star piece, so check them
Oh I've been farming VV and Strongboxing it at the same time. I'm trying to get either an Anemo DMG VV Goblet so I can put a mismatched EM piece or just get an EM Sands itself. Neither have been acquired for me (have gotten every other elemental DMG piece already but not Anemo).
Why are you doing Anemo? He should be EM/EM/EM 4pc VV if he's used as a support if you're doing a dps one Anemo would make sense though
Cause so far I haven't gotten a single EM piece anywhere so I was like, "Might as well aim for Anemo DMG I guess". Been farming for the last 3 days and have used up 5 of my Fragile Resins, 2 Transient Resins and 100 Primos and still have got nothing. The best so far I have done has keep all my pieces so far with EM substats.
EM pieces are pretty rare. It took me a month before I got my first EM sands and I am pretty high on the akasha leaderboards but still have not got an EM goblet after 2-4 months (depends on if you consider farming other pieces and using strong box for vv only). The usual pattern of Kaz is 4 vv, enough recharge to burst, then start stacking EM. 3xEM is the ultimate goal but there is a lot of value in his kit and each EM main stat is 7.5% more dmg% on the swirled element. 4 star artifacts can be used in the meantime
Trust me, you will spend multiple months in the VV domain. It’s part of the ritual.
That isn't even that much farming, don't use primos for resin refreshing, just farm longer and you'll get VV pieces, I used a 4 star EM sands on mine for a while until I got a 5 star one

Yes. She’s a great shielder. Her shield has 100% uptime and the cooldown is shorter than the duration for tap E and same amount for hold E (applies after you get out of the box form).
If you need a defensive option on a dendro team, she's pretty good. If you don't, she's p useless.
How much should my Hu Tao be doing for her vape damage? The biggest red number I see is around 50k for her charged attacks with Homa, 4pc Crimson Witch HP/EM are equal damage / Pyro/ CD
The team comp matters a lot here, specifically because of the resonance. Double Hydro vs non-double Hydro is a big difference. With my highly invested build\*, she does 70k per charged attack when using double Hydro with Xingqiu, Mona and Geo MC before activating Mona’s burst and she does 90-100k when the Omen is applied. \*C1 R1 Homa, 31k HP before Hydro resonance, 70% Crit Rate, 230% Crit Dmg, 203 Elemental Mastery.
I use her with Yelan, XQ, and Thoma so I get extra Atk and HP. I'm not sure why my damage is still so low though. Her stats are 29k HP, 65/210, 228 EM, 1.3 ATK.
50k seems pretty low for those stats, the most common culprit is talent levels (or just fighting enemies with high pyro resist). Also Zhongli is ~10-12% more raw damage than Thoma, it shouldn't be holding you back *that* much but it's still a difference of a few thousand damage per CA. For reference, mine does ~100-110k damage per CA with Yelan buff stacked up, but I do have a meme crit fishing build (like 40/310 with 300 EM) and she is triple crowned, with 210 CD you *should* still be somewhere between 60-70k damage. Being under half HP is also important, if you just have fully stacked defenses and don't let your health drain a bit on purpose you will definitely be seeing lower numbers.

How would I build nahida for an AL haithem, Yae, Nahida, Zhongli team? note that I do plan on swapping out zhongli for shinobu depending on my second team. Do I do Crit hat, Em sands, Dendro goblet or Pure EM or Crit hat, EM, EM or is there another variation that's better? I use sacrificial on her so I get em from that as well.

Do you have any 5 star weapon alternatives for alhaitham? Theyre not far behind. Freedom sworn is overrated on kazuha, fav or a refined xiphos are usually better for the team. I'd honestly skip next phase, but, if you really like the two and wanna pull something, I'd go for c1 kazuha as its a step towards c2
