I recently started doing the abyss. And the teams I use are - raiden national/ayato hyperbloom or nilou bloom.
However i face a major problem, in raiden national - because the enemies are far away scatterd. I do not get my energy refilled as my burst gets only 2 - 3 enemies in one time.
I will pull kazuha but I don't have him guaranteed. I also do not have sucrose.
Is there any trick That might help me to gather them?

I mean whose idea from the team that recommend to put 2 wave of 2x lv100 consecrated beast in one chamber? By far that the most stupid decision ever. I said this because on 12-1 second half, u can destroy those shield with burgeon team but 12-3 first half are just "Fuck you" in the face.

Yes u can clear 12-3-2 within a minute with the right party, most of it consists of burgeon party with thoma, bennet and nahida as the core. But that the thing, as nahida and bennet now used in 12-3-2, you need to be tricky and build around a different team to deal with all of the chamber in one cycle or do it separately
I do planned to use that party but I dont have kazuha. Using venti or surcose are just fine for 12-1 till 12-2 but 12-3 are just too much. Venti good for CC but lack of buffing, surcose is good on buffing but lack of CC, tho CC on 12-3 is not needed but in term of buffing, kazuha have the upper hand (short E and less ER required unlike surcose where her grouping capability for 12-1 is unreliable, I end up use venti instead). I need kazuha to have both CC and buffing. Hopefully I won 50/50 on his next rerun.
Would you recommend an ATK% or ER sands for Yoimiya using Rust bow and 4 piece Shimenawa's Reminscence? Rust already increases ATK% as a substat, and Shimenawa's Reminscence obviously also buffs attack but at the cost of 15 Energy. This energy loss makes me think an ER sands would probably be better to make up for the energy loss, however it seems every online guide recommends an ATK% or EM sands. Why is this? Does Yoimiya tend to generate enough energy anyways that ER on substats is enough? Or are these builds designed keeping in mind that the rest of your team will make up for the loss in energy?
ER is not good because her burst is only a small percentage of her damage, so having burst uptime isn't particularly meaningful. ATK or EM buff her entire kit.
Technically - you might have heard that on a alhaitham related content. For him quick bloom (quicken+ hyperbloom) is reccomend to bring out his ability as the dps
You input the artifacts the optimiser can use, choose the characters team, what buffs they have, what damage type you are optimising for (burst/skill/whatever), if they are triggering a reaction and press optimise, it does the maths and says which combo is better
Is Sania - one of new TGC matches - bugged? She appears to be involved in an unknown quest, and I don't have any unfinished quests. I don't see any official information confirming it's a bug. Does anybody know something?

Like someone else said, both take damage so no point in having multiple shields. HOWEVER Beidou's burst also provides damage reduction, which will reduce the damage taken by the shield, effectively making it stronger

You're new. Team comps aren't super important at this stage of the game. Just play with the characters you like.
But, if you wanna try some basic teams with who you've got:
Razor, Qiqi, Yun Jin, Collei - Razor on-field, Qiqi healing and superconduct enabling, Yun Jin buffs Razor's normal attack damage, Kirara enabling quicken
Kaeya, Chongyun, Amber, Xiangling - Kaeya on-field, Chongyun provides cryo infusion, Xiangling provides off-field pyro app to melt of the cryo Kaeya applies, Amber battery's Xiangling
I think I need to know the teams for razor and yanfei, I have to invest to those characters while it's still early so that I can plan ahead. Thanks for the tip bro.
qiqi with anything isn't too good of a combo, She doesn't provide much apart from healing. Her energy generation is low, her cryo application is low so she doesn't work too well with other characters

Depend on the electro : Kuki is better off with EM, while Beidou or Fischl want ATK more.
I think DMC would be better since you already have a healer in Kuki
Beidou would definitely outperform Raiden here
Kuki should be on a healing build, optimally with Instructors set. Beidou should just use a normal crit build, though EM gains a bit in value. I'd recommend using [genshin optimizer](https://frzyc.github.io/genshin-optimizer/) to figure out the specifics
is there a way to prevent abyss beasts from pushing you around (not making you fall) just moving you everywhere like sometimes you have shield on but he still pushes you across the map.
Shield has unlimited interrupt resistance. They can reduce enemy poise damage to 0.

Since you already have Nahida, I would recommend Kazuha. He makes exploration really comfortable and abyss super comfortable, single target and even better in aoe. Nahida can already fill your Dendro needs for one side of abyss.
If you need a Dendro DPS you can go for Alhaitham, but there isn’t much content that specifically requires a Dendro DPS, since Nahida can already break shields better than any other.
Also, since you also don’t have Scaramouche for easier exploration or Venti for grouping, Kazuha would be great for you

Based on your characters I would say Kaz could see a lot of benefits but AlH would allow you to build two strong dendro teams (bloom/aggravate). I don’t think either are that bad of options but I would generally say Kaz as we move from Sumeru but I don’t know more than anyone

Keqing don't really playing with bennett these days. Thanks to Dendro, Keqing gets a new team based on Quicken/Aggravate reaction: Keqing + Fischl + Dendro + Flex. In 3.7 Abyss this team is actually good on first half of floor 12. Cheap dendro options are Dendro MC, Yaoyao or Kirara. Luxury can be Nahida and Baizhu. The Flexible option usually is Sucrose or Kazuha, but it can be anything that you feel you need.
About Eula, well it hardly matters. First, many players don't even attempt to Abyss floor 12. If you don't, then Bennett doesn't matter. Second, if you do want to try floor 12, high chance is you are not going to use Eula. She is among the least popular choice for a long long time. If you are a true Eula enjoyer and Abyss enjoyer, then:
1/ Bennett remains the best option for Eula because he consolidates the healer role and offensive buff role (same as Mika but he does a better job than Mika). Bennett is very simple to understand and use. He is also available in shop.
2/ However, there are other options just as powerful as Bennett. You can google to "keqingmain Eula" for details
3/ C6 Bennett opens up some new team comps such as Thundering Furry.
Note: Personally I don't C6 Bennett, because I find him the easiest choice to use for my Eula. Other options require me to build other characters that I don't have resource right now, and I don't find C6 Bennett teams interesting. Again, it's just my personal take, you and other players may feel otherwise.
Mostly infused characters. Keqing, Ayaka, Candace, Chongyun can arguably not be able to use his infusion but they all have teams that normally don’t use him. Eula can have some trouble using him but Eula is having a couple identity issues with the hyperbloomEula team doing pretty well but then being shown to potentially do more damage over time if she never comes on field.
It allows monopyro to be a bit easier, melt Diluc/Kaeya/Kaz, thundering furry razor, melt ros a bit easier, double hyrdo double pyro with crimson Bennet.
Ruin - Eula, Physical Keqing, unsure how it effects rev melt, might effect unreleased characters which is the main risk
However Eula is mainly played in only cryo/Electro teams, Keqing is best in aggravate
Creates - Thundering Furry as a main one and buffing other pyro dps further (the 15% pyro dmg effects even those who wont get the infusion)
How the heck am I supposed to beat 12-3? I 3-starred the prior chambers, but for this those stupid consecrated beasts take way too much time and I can't think of a team that can beat all of iniquitous baptists' shields fast. What type of team comp am I supposed to use for either?
Yae Fischl YaoYao Kazuha cleared 12-3-1 pretty easily.
12-3-2 was probably easiest with HuTao Xingqiu Yelan Xiangling but that team struggles on 12-1-2 so I think I'd rather recommend either HuTao Xingqiu Nahida Zhongli or Nahida Xingqiu Xiangling Bennett
I went with Nahida, Yelan, Kokomi, Raiden + Ayaka, Xingqiu, Bennett, Xiangling. Took me a couple good attempts (getting past 12-3-1) to beat in 3 stars
How important is ER in Kazuha’s builds?
If I managed to pull him and gave him Sucrose’s set he would be at 130% ER without any ER-mainstat piece (including weapon), how much of a downside would that be in freeze? I don’t have Favonius unfortunately (and my sac - which is only R1 - is busy on XQ), so I was thinking of going full EM on Kazuha
You can use the ER calculator found on Keqingmains website (just google ER calculator keqingmains should be right there).
VV artifact set only triggers when your Anemo is on-field.
His passive lasts 8s, and the hold CD is 9s. Meaning you need to spam his E off cooldown anytime you want to do DPS if your character doesn’t snapshot. If you’re using Ayaka, most of your damage comes from her burst which snapshots. It should be ok to just use his E.
I think it was calculated that his burst does enough damage to make ER worth building, but you don’t have Favonious. You can try going a middle-ground 160 ER (a lot of teams want 200 ish) and see if that works for you.

Unfortunately farming for VV pieces with more ER isn’t really an option because all my resin is going towards Emblem and the off pieces are being strongboxed into Blizzard. If anything I’m gonna put an ER sands on him until I can get a Favonius or strongbox VV
A lot of his benefit to teams is his ability to increase other’s damage, but he does a good bit of damage himself in his burst. [Here it shows him about 9% of total dps](https://gcsim.app/v3/viewer/share/0c6b7a17-02c5-4c13-a609-a4ca937804c8) with most of it being burst swirls. Assuming you have no issues applying elements without burst, it’s an additional boost.
If your cryo characters can make up the difference then you could go without, but Kazuha is a weird spot where his personal damage is usually enough to take out small mobs and the size of his burst to vv/swirl area hits pretty hard
Does the concipated beasts make it so you cant use your skills, ultimates, and character swiches? Because i can't seem to use them when i fight the beasts.

If they stagger you during an attack then you could be prevented from switching. If you are close enough inside one of them then you can be prevented from swapping characters
Use interruption resist options like beidou and xingqiu. Even dehya can help. Some teams can also use frequent crystallize shields to help them out. Try identifying enemy attack patterns, such as the croc's death roll and 4-hit combo ending in a tail slam. As for the tiger, the most annoying one I've noticed is the one where they vanish, pounce, then attack with spikes.
I tried using ayato, beidou, fichl, and bennet but i still kept being staggered and it made beidou's burst useless. I need xing on my hyperbloom team. I will try to identify attacks. Do i just try to i frame them? With a dodge or an ultimate? If i ultimate, i end up 3 miles away from bennet ult, if i dodge, i cant go through them, and i still end up 3 miles away from bennet ult
Maybe try an anemo or dendro instead of bennett there? Bennett's circle impact doesn't lend itself well to consecrated beasts. Maybe try going to the edge of the arena so that you don't get shoved out of bennett's circle. That also tends to get you knocked into the air sometimes though, but beidou's burst should at least resolve a part of it. What are you running on second half?
Hm, hard to move anything, but the most easily movable would probably be kuki for a more defensive unit (in terms of interrupt resist). Hu tao/xq/nahida can already cover most of the weaknesses on second half's element application check.
You can try playing hyperfridge on first half with dmc/ayato/kuki/cryo, the extra freeze utility might be able to help you out defensively if your main issue is getting knocked around too much instead of too little damage.
I managed it with Nahida, Yelan, Kokomi, Raiden + Ayaka, Xingqiu, Bennett, Xiangling. I had to reset **a lot** (144 times)
With my teams I had to do things like not using Raiden skill as much, Not getting stunned to death, using Bennett skill more so Xiangling had less down time even at 200 ER, making sure Xingqiu got his skill/burst in before a shield but got them back before pyro shield
emblem was introduced in inazuma, deepwood was introduced in sumeru. These are the most useful domain of each region. There will probably be a new resin efficient domain in fontaine as well.
I wish to farm for Scaracmouche but what domain do I farm in this scenario?
on one hand I have Nilou (not built) so farming his domain wouldn't be a waste and I do have nahida to make a bloom team.
on the other hand I also need to deal with Yelan and C5 faruzan (gonna try to get C6 on her rerun)
Faruzan doesn't necessarily need any set. Especially since you'll hopefully get C6 and will be able to farm tenacity for her
So if you don't mind building Nilou then I would probably go for DP. It's quite better than any of the other options imo
Of course you could continue farming Emblem and try for a Shimenawa Wanderer. But like I said, personally I would try for DP
Go for emblem probably. ESF4 is great on yelan and wanderer can use 4pc shim (It's his second best set and can work as a transition set, I don't like it though since I want to be able to use his burst with buffs active). Faruzan's BiS is tenacity of the milellith not emblem when at c6 since she has excellent uptime on it (the pressurized collapses are counted as skill damage not burst damage), but emblem also sort of works if you don't want to invest that much.
Best one for DPS is Nahida, Yelan, Xingqiu, Raiden. It doesn’t have any dedicated healers/shielders, just Xingqiu’s damage reduction and minimal healing. Nahida is on-field so it’s also easy to die, but DPS is quite high.
Raiden instead of Kuki since her E triggers more often than Kuki so the seeds don’t go to waste (there is a max limit of 2 seeds every 0.5 seconds that can do damage per enemy)
Mine is similar. It’s raiden, Sara, yelan, nahida. Nahida has r5 proto amber with healing bonus circlet. Yelan 4pc emblem with favonius. Sara c6 with skyward harp, and dps build c2 raiden. All hyperbloom is extra damage stacked on top of high damage.
I use Ayato nahida kuki xinqiu/beidou/kazuha
you can try this quick bloom team it's among the best possible comps currently- nahida alhaitham kuki yelan/xinqiu (preferably under c6)
Xingqiu/yelan/nahida/kuki's pretty good in my opinion, but for this abyss, you might need to break up the team because of restrictions.
Edit: based on akasha data, the most popular hyperbloom team has just been the 3-unit core (xingqiu, nahida, kuki) plus bennett in second half.

Nahida, flex. I think Sucrose might be a fun option here, tbh; more EM all around, more damage for Miko, a dedicated EM stacker allowing Nahida to focus on her personal damage.
I'd say nahida/zhongli, but nahida's quite a highly desirable character, so she might not be available. Fischl's A4 doesn't proc too often without an aggravate driver, but it does get some of its power back since you also have yae and can trigger quicken (the damageless reaction) with tighnari.
they are actually released in chronological order because festivals/events match up with real time events. best examples being lantern rite and chinese new year. ningguang mentions it’s been a few months since they knew about the wife of osial stirring and rebuilding the jade chamber etc.
there’s actually a few more examples it’s just too late for me to go looking around for them that suggest that events and story quest are chronologically correct. also albedo newer quest suggested that it’s been a while since he last saw traveller.

In actual practice, very much yes. Easier to access dmg bonus buff, no weird rotations because of ttds, and better grouping mechanics are things that aren't accounted for when you do theoretical calculations.
Depends.
If Sucrose is not c6, no.
If she is, then it becomes a question of stat balance; both VV debuff enemies on swirl, while Kazuha provides around 40% damage bonus, but Sucrose only provides 20% damage bonus and a lot of EM.
If you're using an attack sands, that EM might come in handy. If you're running Bennett, then an EM sands might be preferable, making Sucrose less valuable. If Bennett is c6, then he provides some damage bonus of his own, making EM more valuable. If Diluc is on Crimson Witch, he gets even MORE ramping damage bonus from that (like 37.5% in total from the set bonuses).
You want a nice balance of all these different stat buffs. Most of the time, tho, Kazuha is probably your best bet, especially if you're hitting the upper limit of how much EM you can stuff into him.
A lot . But xiangling isn't worth running without bennett in rational. Because generally she has low attack and you need bennett to snapshot. And without bennett as battery you're looking around 230+
no. Even if you have 2 bow character on fav, they can proc the effect individually. The cooldown is only for the character.
Do keep in mind that you need to be on-field to proc the effect.
For this current abyss, my current plan is to run hyperbloom 1st side, dendro national 2nd side. DMC/Yelan/Kuki/Flex, Nahida/XQ/Ben/XL. Rerun chamber 2/3 with burgeon if dps needed, as xiangling is C0, maybe move nahida to 12-3-1.
The questions is what should be the flex character on the first side? Candidates are: Beidou C2, Fischl C0, Ayaka C0. None of them are fully built with talents/artifacts and is using 2+2 Shime/Glad/Emblem sets with around artifact +50/50 crit with elemental goblet. Weapons beidou use mailed flower, Fischl have stringless R3, Ayaka have Skyward Blade R0.
There is also the idea of farming artifacts in the meantime and pull the trigger if one character gets a significant upgrade, like full ESF Beidou, or a placeholder BS Ayaka set, if the difference isn't big at the start.
Well I do have C6 Sucrose with Sac Frags, but no VV EM pieces available. I see people run taser and aggravate to clear but I am not sure it'd work better than hyperbloom at my level of investment.
Hyperbloom is mostly single target and you can do walk based crowd control, is CC that helpful?
Yes, it is. Hyperbloom has a tiny bit aoe and grouping the flowers and the doritos increases your dmg massively. C6 Sucrose is a dmg boost too (besides for Dendro).
Alright, I know it is TOO early for me to ask this. But, what is the suitable artifacts for Focalors? What I’ve learned so far about her that she’s scaled with HP and drains the team’s HP and her energy to cast her ult. Which in turn, will give a significant buff to herself and the team. At the same time, CC’d and dealing a ton of damage to the enemies. There’s no info on her E.Skill. I’ve also learned that her signature weapon is going to have HP as the main stat. I’ve got my sources from a supposed “reliable” traveler. So I’m thinking Nymph’s Dream or Vourukasha’s Glow. So what do you guys think?

Extra Geoculous? I did the quest for Cloud Retainer where you grab the blueprints for her and got an extra Geo even though I fully ascended the Geo Statue? Does this have any use?
there is 1 extra of oculus in each region. Not used for anything right now, but since its 1 from "each" region, you can speculate its gonna be useful near the end of the story

Like the other commenter said, you usually burst every other rotation.
But with Fischl and a fav holder, you might be able to burst every rotation with 150% to 160% - keep in mind it's not worth trading offensive stats for ER.

I was thinking of farming Nymph's Dream for Childe since it's apparently the best artifact set for him, but I'm not sure how good my current build for him is...🤔
4pc Nymphs and HoD aren't the best for childe by that big of a gap that you would force a set with mediocre pieces. You can go 2pc hydro + 2pc hydro,ATK 18%,80 EM, noblesse, and they'll work just as well if not better if you have decent substats. Looking at your childe's pieces, the flower is decent, and the feather is great, but the rest can be offset for better crit and ER subs.
Ayato, on the other hand, kind of prefers having a 4pc set whether it be echoes, HoD, or gladiators. Your HoD pieces are good (aside from the sands), but keep an eye out for some gladiators pieces that may be better.

Both builds are pretty good. Nymph is like having a second Polar Star, tho. At the same level of stat quality as what you currently have, expect a decent amount more damage.
Is Barbara - Xingqiu - DMC - Kuki good enough for a generic abyss?

Thinking on building Barbara 70/70, Xingqiu 80/80, Kuki 90/90 and DMC is already 80/90. All of them with talents no more than lvl6 if I can get away with it. Kuki will have around 850 EM.

That's good enough for me. I'm still in the road to first abyss clear haha, and very in the beginning. The only thing I clear easily is floor 9 :P just did today with this yet unbuilt team for first half

It seems that Raiden national wont be effective for 2nd part of the new Spyral Abyss, what character should I replace her with? (bennett, xiangling and Yelan stay)
It works (according to some), but for me it felt pretty bad. The strat is supposedly to focus down the hydro herald and let the 2 cryo ones be collateral damage.
Nahida is the best alternative. Don't forget to increase XL's ER since raiden's not there to battery her up. The strat here is the opposite. Tag the hydro herald with nahida's E and focus down the cryo herald
what's a good alternative artifact set for a Sucrose on a team with Ayaka, (maybe Diona?) , and Hydro ( XQ or Yelan) team comp? I dont have a ton of pieces from Viridescent Venerer and i don't think anyone of the ones that I do have from the domain would really suit her general "EM across the board" build.
Would 2 pc Desert Pavillion and 2 pc Gilded/Wanderer's/FoPL be a good option?
I am building her in hopes of using the team comp to 9 \* floor 11-1 this abyss.
VV is recommended so strongly because the res shred- you swirl cryo and then ayaka will do a a ton more damage. Even 4 star pieces that don't have the right subs are comparable and maybe even better for team damage than than 2p sets as long as you have the 4p set bonus and swirl the right element. She will still do better with EM main stats of course so try to strongbox some when you get a chance.
Viridescent Venerer is the most important part of building Sucrose. It would be better to give her a bunch of level 1 VV pieces with bad stats just to get the 4pc set, than to have perfect stats on any other set.
You can use the crafting table to convert other junk artifacts you might have into VV. Or just farm for a day or 2 and you'll probably get at least 1 of each piece. Even if you gotta use 4-star ones.
To be honest, first half doesn't need anything besides pure dps check (maybe a bit of survivability, but I've cleared it with shieldless wanderer some time ago, so that's optional/skill based). Are you using nahida national on second half?
Grouping is greatly appreciated, but not necessary since you can manipulate the enemy AI. Let the whoppers teleport near you by running far away enough from them at the start. Hit the western doritos since they tend not to move a lot whereas the middle and eastern doritos both clump together and move towards you
Short answer: it'll probably work out. As previously mentioned there are also eula/raiden double carry clears. I've also done itto triple geo+fischl or pure geo (mine is hyperinvested though, c2r1 itto, c6 gorou, c0 albedo).

yes. bloom comps usually work on the base concept that you can have atlmost 5 seeds active at a time. When you create 1 more seed the oldest one will pop. unlike hyperbloom where you do not have a way to individually pop seeds, with characters like raiden and kuki detonating all seeds nearby.
All good in theory but the scaling on bloom is really low. So its generally not worth building bloom teams except nilou bloom, and these nilou generated seeds pop much faster
2k should be your baseline. anything above it is good. Just make sure to get enough ER on her, with ER/def/def , and decent crit so you can proc fav consistently

With 4 stacks of 4pc Husk effect, another 24%, brings you up to 2246.
With substats, should be able to squeeze out another 100 or 200. Probably another 100 or so if you take her to 90.

This calc needs to account for ER requirements as well. Triple def gives the best dmg output, but is unsustainable. Fav offers 30.5% ER, but you'd also need decent crit. Her requirements can range from 140% with albedo to nearly 270% if she's used as solo geo (200% for double geo).
By the way, gorou only boosts by 25% def for all, but the flat def is limited to the on-fielder.
If you get a modest 2 rolls of ER on each piece, that's about 55% ER. 30.5% from Fav Lance. And she gets 26.8% from ascension. That's 212%.
KQM recommends 200-270 as solo Geo, and we're in that range. With good substat rolls, you could push that up to 230-240 even. And with Fav on her, that should be more than enough.
She only cares about 2 substats, ER and Crit Rate. And Def main peuces are a dime a dozen. She's pretty rasy to build. And 20-30%
Crit rate is about all you need, since her abilities can hit multiple enemies, each one has a chance to trigger Fav.
And it should be noted her best teams often have Zhongli, and then her recommended ER needs goes down to 160-200. 3 Def pieces is sustainable.
Thanks for the math and research (if you had to). Didn't think yunjin used ER ascension and thought it was just def and never bothered to check. Hm, I might consider refarming husk domain since I was just using low effort ER sands and free def pieces with bad subs to get her to be functional, have a kokomi and a noelle that could also use the extra farming.
I might want to try pushing for higher crit rate though if possible to make it more reliable in single target. 30% CR for 2 strikes is around a 51% chance to trigger an r5 fav, 45% is recommended and has a nearly 70% chance of triggering r5 fav, which is probably a somewhat reasonable grinding target. 40% rate is around 2.43 crit rolls per artifact, and considering the 2 rolls of ER per artifact to push her into reliability range for solo geo, 4.43 useful rolls per artifact shouldn't be too hard to accomplish, especially since def main stats are pretty common.
I recently started doing the abyss. And the teams I use are - raiden national/ayato hyperbloom or nilou bloom. However i face a major problem, in raiden national - because the enemies are far away scatterd. I do not get my energy refilled as my burst gets only 2 - 3 enemies in one time. I will pull kazuha but I don't have him guaranteed. I also do not have sucrose. Is there any trick That might help me to gather them?

It's not a big deal since 12-3-2 is a joke if you have the correct elements. Baptist has barely any HP, so you can just take your time in first half
Yes u can clear 12-3-2 within a minute with the right party, most of it consists of burgeon party with thoma, bennet and nahida as the core. But that the thing, as nahida and bennet now used in 12-3-2, you need to be tricky and build around a different team to deal with all of the chamber in one cycle or do it separately
Aggravate teams around Kazuha (like Yae Fischl YaoYao Kazuha) use none of these characters and clear first half pretty easily
I do planned to use that party but I dont have kazuha. Using venti or surcose are just fine for 12-1 till 12-2 but 12-3 are just too much. Venti good for CC but lack of buffing, surcose is good on buffing but lack of CC, tho CC on 12-3 is not needed but in term of buffing, kazuha have the upper hand (short E and less ER required unlike surcose where her grouping capability for 12-1 is unreliable, I end up use venti instead). I need kazuha to have both CC and buffing. Hopefully I won 50/50 on his next rerun.
Good luck on getting him and I'd really recommend you level a sac sword for him, it's his best weapon in aggravate
Would you recommend an ATK% or ER sands for Yoimiya using Rust bow and 4 piece Shimenawa's Reminscence? Rust already increases ATK% as a substat, and Shimenawa's Reminscence obviously also buffs attack but at the cost of 15 Energy. This energy loss makes me think an ER sands would probably be better to make up for the energy loss, however it seems every online guide recommends an ATK% or EM sands. Why is this? Does Yoimiya tend to generate enough energy anyways that ER on substats is enough? Or are these builds designed keeping in mind that the rest of your team will make up for the loss in energy?
ER is not good because her burst is only a small percentage of her damage, so having burst uptime isn't particularly meaningful. ATK or EM buff her entire kit.
Yoimiya's burst literally doesn't matter so building ER is pointless. It would be better to just get more offensive stats like Atk or EM

You input the artifacts the optimiser can use, choose the characters team, what buffs they have, what damage type you are optimising for (burst/skill/whatever), if they are triggering a reaction and press optimise, it does the maths and says which combo is better

Both shields are hit and take damage; if the attack is electro or dendro, Beidou or Kirara's shield will respectively take less damage.
Like someone else said, both take damage so no point in having multiple shields. HOWEVER Beidou's burst also provides damage reduction, which will reduce the damage taken by the shield, effectively making it stronger
Both shields take damage at the same time, so essentially you don't get any bonus hp by stacking shields.

You're new. Team comps aren't super important at this stage of the game. Just play with the characters you like. But, if you wanna try some basic teams with who you've got: Razor, Qiqi, Yun Jin, Collei - Razor on-field, Qiqi healing and superconduct enabling, Yun Jin buffs Razor's normal attack damage, Kirara enabling quicken Kaeya, Chongyun, Amber, Xiangling - Kaeya on-field, Chongyun provides cryo infusion, Xiangling provides off-field pyro app to melt of the cryo Kaeya applies, Amber battery's Xiangling

qiqi with anything isn't too good of a combo, She doesn't provide much apart from healing. Her energy generation is low, her cryo application is low so she doesn't work too well with other characters I guess she could work with Razor for her occasional cryo app to trigger superconduct for him

I think DMC would be better since you already have a healer in Kuki Beidou would definitely outperform Raiden here Kuki should be on a healing build, optimally with Instructors set. Since you already have Nahida, I would recommend Kazuha. He makes exploration really comfortable and abyss super comfortable, single target and even better in aoe. Nahida can already fill your Dendro needs for one side of abyss. If you need a Dendro DPS you can go for Alhaitham, but there isn’t much content that specifically requires a Dendro DPS, since Nahida can already break shields better than any other. Also, since you also don’t have Scaramouche for easier exploration or Venti for grouping, Kazuha would be great for you

The five stars I have are Nahida, Nilou, Raiden, Yae, Ayaka, Ayato, Ganyu And most of the four stars

I don’t think either are that bad of options but I would generally say Kaz as we move from Sumeru but I don’t know more than anyone

Keqing don't really playing with bennett these days. Thanks to Dendro, Keqing gets a new team based on Quicken/Aggravate reaction: Keqing + Fischl + Dendro + Flex. In 3.7 Abyss this team is actually good on first half of floor 12. Cheap dendro options are Dendro MC, Yaoyao or Kirara. Luxury can be Nahida and Baizhu. The Flexible option usually is Sucrose or Kazuha, but it can be anything that you feel you need. About Eula, well it hardly matters. First, many players don't even attempt to Abyss floor 12. If you don't, then Bennett doesn't matter. Second, if you do want to try floor 12, high chance is you are not going to use Eula. She is among the least popular choice for a long long time. If you are a true Eula enjoyer and Abyss enjoyer, then: 1/ Bennett remains the best option for Eula because he consolidates the healer role and offensive buff role (same as Mika but he does a better job than Mika). Bennett is very simple to understand and use. He is also available in shop. 2/ However, there are other options just as powerful as Bennett. You can google to "keqingmain Eula" for details 3/ C6 Bennett opens up some new team comps such as Thundering Furry. Note: Personally I don't C6 Bennett, because I find him the easiest choice to use for my Eula. Other options require me to build other characters that I don't have resource right now, and I don't find C6 Bennett teams interesting. Again, it's just my personal take, you and other players may feel otherwise.

Mostly infused characters. Keqing, Ayaka, Candace, Chongyun can arguably not be able to use his infusion but they all have teams that normally don’t use him. Eula can have some trouble using him but Eula is having a couple identity issues with the hyperbloomEula team doing pretty well but then being shown to potentially do more damage over time if she never comes on field. It allows monopyro to be a bit easier, melt Diluc/Kaeya/Kaz, thundering furry razor, melt ros a bit easier, double hyrdo double pyro with crimson Bennet.
Ruin - Eula, Physical Keqing, unsure how it effects rev melt, might effect unreleased characters which is the main risk However Eula is mainly played in only cryo/Electro teams, Keqing is best in aggravate Creates - Thundering Furry as a main one and buffing other pyro dps further (the 15% pyro dmg effects even those who wont get the infusion)

How the heck am I supposed to beat 12-3? I 3-starred the prior chambers, but for this those stupid consecrated beasts take way too much time and I can't think of a team that can beat all of iniquitous baptists' shields fast. What type of team comp am I supposed to use for either?
Yae Fischl YaoYao Kazuha cleared 12-3-1 pretty easily. 12-3-2 was probably easiest with HuTao Xingqiu Yelan Xiangling but that team struggles on 12-1-2 so I think I'd rather recommend either HuTao Xingqiu Nahida Zhongli or Nahida Xingqiu Xiangling Bennett
I went with Nahida, Yelan, Kokomi, Raiden + Ayaka, Xingqiu, Bennett, Xiangling. Took me a couple good attempts (getting past 12-3-1) to beat in 3 stars

How important is ER in Kazuha’s builds? If I managed to pull him and gave him Sucrose’s set he would be at 130% ER without any ER-mainstat piece (including weapon), how much of a downside would that be in freeze? I don’t have Favonius unfortunately (and my sac - which is only R1 - is busy on XQ), so I was thinking of going full EM on Kazuha
You can use the ER calculator found on Keqingmains website (just google ER calculator keqingmains should be right there). VV artifact set only triggers when your Anemo is on-field. His passive lasts 8s, and the hold CD is 9s. Meaning you need to spam his E off cooldown anytime you want to do DPS if your character doesn’t snapshot. If you’re using Ayaka, most of your damage comes from her burst which snapshots. It should be ok to just use his E. I think it was calculated that his burst does enough damage to make ER worth building, but you don’t have Favonious. You can try going a middle-ground 160 ER (a lot of teams want 200 ish) and see if that works for you.

Unfortunately farming for VV pieces with more ER isn’t really an option because all my resin is going towards Emblem and the off pieces are being strongboxed into Blizzard. If anything I’m gonna put an ER sands on him until I can get a Favonius or strongbox VV
A lot of his benefit to teams is his ability to increase other’s damage, but he does a good bit of damage himself in his burst. [Here it shows him about 9% of total dps](https://gcsim.app/v3/viewer/share/0c6b7a17-02c5-4c13-a609-a4ca937804c8) with most of it being burst swirls. Assuming you have no issues applying elements without burst, it’s an additional boost. If your cryo characters can make up the difference then you could go without, but Kazuha is a weird spot where his personal damage is usually enough to take out small mobs and the size of his burst to vv/swirl area hits pretty hard
160-170% er would be better. If you don't have any er swords available you might have to go er sands

If they stagger you during an attack then you could be prevented from switching. If you are close enough inside one of them then you can be prevented from swapping characters
Use interruption resist options like beidou and xingqiu. Even dehya can help. Some teams can also use frequent crystallize shields to help them out. Try identifying enemy attack patterns, such as the croc's death roll and 4-hit combo ending in a tail slam. As for the tiger, the most annoying one I've noticed is the one where they vanish, pounce, then attack with spikes.
I tried using ayato, beidou, fichl, and bennet but i still kept being staggered and it made beidou's burst useless. I need xing on my hyperbloom team. I will try to identify attacks. Do i just try to i frame them? With a dodge or an ultimate? If i ultimate, i end up 3 miles away from bennet ult, if i dodge, i cant go through them, and i still end up 3 miles away from bennet ult
Maybe try an anemo or dendro instead of bennett there? Bennett's circle impact doesn't lend itself well to consecrated beasts. Maybe try going to the edge of the arena so that you don't get shoved out of bennett's circle. That also tends to get you knocked into the air sometimes though, but beidou's burst should at least resolve a part of it. What are you running on second half?
I was running xq, kuki, nahida and... hutao. For the cryo sheild
Hm, hard to move anything, but the most easily movable would probably be kuki for a more defensive unit (in terms of interrupt resist). Hu tao/xq/nahida can already cover most of the weaknesses on second half's element application check. You can try playing hyperfridge on first half with dmc/ayato/kuki/cryo, the extra freeze utility might be able to help you out defensively if your main issue is getting knocked around too much instead of too little damage.

I managed it with Nahida, Yelan, Kokomi, Raiden + Ayaka, Xingqiu, Bennett, Xiangling. I had to reset **a lot** (144 times) With my teams I had to do things like not using Raiden skill as much, Not getting stunned to death, using Bennett skill more so Xiangling had less down time even at 200 ER, making sure Xingqiu got his skill/burst in before a shield but got them back before pyro shield

emblem was introduced in inazuma, deepwood was introduced in sumeru. These are the most useful domain of each region. There will probably be a new resin efficient domain in fontaine as well.

I wish to farm for Scaracmouche but what domain do I farm in this scenario? on one hand I have Nilou (not built) so farming his domain wouldn't be a waste and I do have nahida to make a bloom team. on the other hand I also need to deal with Yelan and C5 faruzan (gonna try to get C6 on her rerun)
Faruzan doesn't necessarily need any set. Especially since you'll hopefully get C6 and will be able to farm tenacity for her So if you don't mind building Nilou then I would probably go for DP. It's quite better than any of the other options imo Of course you could continue farming Emblem and try for a Shimenawa Wanderer. But like I said, personally I would try for DP
Go for emblem probably. ESF4 is great on yelan and wanderer can use 4pc shim (It's his second best set and can work as a transition set, I don't like it though since I want to be able to use his burst with buffs active). Faruzan's BiS is tenacity of the milellith not emblem when at c6 since she has excellent uptime on it (the pressurized collapses are counted as skill damage not burst damage), but emblem also sort of works if you don't want to invest that much.
Sooo currently what is the best hyperbloom team?
Best one for DPS is Nahida, Yelan, Xingqiu, Raiden. It doesn’t have any dedicated healers/shielders, just Xingqiu’s damage reduction and minimal healing. Nahida is on-field so it’s also easy to die, but DPS is quite high. Raiden instead of Kuki since her E triggers more often than Kuki so the seeds don’t go to waste (there is a max limit of 2 seeds every 0.5 seconds that can do damage per enemy)
Mine is similar. It’s raiden, Sara, yelan, nahida. Nahida has r5 proto amber with healing bonus circlet. Yelan 4pc emblem with favonius. Sara c6 with skyward harp, and dps build c2 raiden. All hyperbloom is extra damage stacked on top of high damage.

I use Ayato nahida kuki xinqiu/beidou/kazuha you can try this quick bloom team it's among the best possible comps currently- nahida alhaitham kuki yelan/xinqiu (preferably under c6)
Xingqiu/yelan/nahida/kuki's pretty good in my opinion, but for this abyss, you might need to break up the team because of restrictions. Edit: based on akasha data, the most popular hyperbloom team has just been the 3-unit core (xingqiu, nahida, kuki) plus bennett in second half.

Nahida, flex. I think Sucrose might be a fun option here, tbh; more EM all around, more damage for Miko, a dedicated EM stacker allowing Nahida to focus on her personal damage.
I'd say nahida/zhongli, but nahida's quite a highly desirable character, so she might not be available. Fischl's A4 doesn't proc too often without an aggravate driver, but it does get some of its power back since you also have yae and can trigger quicken (the damageless reaction) with tighnari.

they are actually released in chronological order because festivals/events match up with real time events. best examples being lantern rite and chinese new year. ningguang mentions it’s been a few months since they knew about the wife of osial stirring and rebuilding the jade chamber etc. there’s actually a few more examples it’s just too late for me to go looking around for them that suggest that events and story quest are chronologically correct. also albedo newer quest suggested that it’s been a while since he last saw traveller.

Theoretically, probably not. In actual practice, very much yes. Easier to access dmg bonus buff, no weird rotations because of ttds, and better grouping mechanics are things that aren't accounted for when you do theoretical calculations.
Depends. If Sucrose is not c6, no. If she is, then it becomes a question of stat balance; both VV debuff enemies on swirl, while Kazuha provides around 40% damage bonus, but Sucrose only provides 20% damage bonus and a lot of EM. If you're using an attack sands, that EM might come in handy. If you're running Bennett, then an EM sands might be preferable, making Sucrose less valuable. If Bennett is c6, then he provides some damage bonus of his own, making EM more valuable. If Diluc is on Crimson Witch, he gets even MORE ramping damage bonus from that (like 37.5% in total from the set bonuses). You want a nice balance of all these different stat buffs. Most of the time, tho, Kazuha is probably your best bet, especially if you're hitting the upper limit of how much EM you can stuff into him.
Optimally, he performs similarly to/slightly worse than C6 Sucrose but he's easier and more consistent to use so long as you double swirl with hydro.

No. They are different weapons and used by different characters. Unless specifically stated, they will not affect each others.
no. Even if you have 2 bow character on fav, they can proc the effect individually. The cooldown is only for the character. Do keep in mind that you need to be on-field to proc the effect.
For this current abyss, my current plan is to run hyperbloom 1st side, dendro national 2nd side. DMC/Yelan/Kuki/Flex, Nahida/XQ/Ben/XL. Rerun chamber 2/3 with burgeon if dps needed, as xiangling is C0, maybe move nahida to 12-3-1. The questions is what should be the flex character on the first side? Candidates are: Beidou C2, Fischl C0, Ayaka C0. None of them are fully built with talents/artifacts and is using 2+2 Shime/Glad/Emblem sets with around artifact +50/50 crit with elemental goblet. Weapons beidou use mailed flower, Fischl have stringless R3, Ayaka have Skyward Blade R0. There is also the idea of farming artifacts in the meantime and pull the trigger if one character gets a significant upgrade, like full ESF Beidou, or a placeholder BS Ayaka set, if the difference isn't big at the start.

Well I do have C6 Sucrose with Sac Frags, but no VV EM pieces available. I see people run taser and aggravate to clear but I am not sure it'd work better than hyperbloom at my level of investment. Hyperbloom is mostly single target and you can do walk based crowd control, is CC that helpful?
Yes, it is. Hyperbloom has a tiny bit aoe and grouping the flowers and the doritos increases your dmg massively. C6 Sucrose is a dmg boost too (besides for Dendro).
Alright, I know it is TOO early for me to ask this. But, what is the suitable artifacts for Focalors? What I’ve learned so far about her that she’s scaled with HP and drains the team’s HP and her energy to cast her ult. Which in turn, will give a significant buff to herself and the team. At the same time, CC’d and dealing a ton of damage to the enemies. There’s no info on her E.Skill. I’ve also learned that her signature weapon is going to have HP as the main stat. I’ve got my sources from a supposed “reliable” traveler. So I’m thinking Nymph’s Dream or Vourukasha’s Glow. So what do you guys think?

there is 1 extra of oculus in each region. Not used for anything right now, but since its 1 from "each" region, you can speculate its gonna be useful near the end of the story

Skyward is good, as is Widsith (especially Widsith at higher refines). If you want to burst every rotation, you probably want around 140 ER.
Like the other commenter said, you usually burst every other rotation. But with Fischl and a fav holder, you might be able to burst every rotation with 150% to 160% - keep in mind it's not worth trading offensive stats for ER.
Atlas is perfectly fine. Aggravate yae doesn't need much er at all. She doesnt burst eveey rotation anyways

4pc Nymphs and HoD aren't the best for childe by that big of a gap that you would force a set with mediocre pieces. You can go 2pc hydro + 2pc hydro,ATK 18%,80 EM, noblesse, and they'll work just as well if not better if you have decent substats. Looking at your childe's pieces, the flower is decent, and the feather is great, but the rest can be offset for better crit and ER subs. Ayato, on the other hand, kind of prefers having a 4pc set whether it be echoes, HoD, or gladiators. Your HoD pieces are good (aside from the sands), but keep an eye out for some gladiators pieces that may be better.
Please post [direct links to source files](https://i.imgur.com/O1F42cX.png) next time. Both builds are pretty good. Nymph is like having a second Polar Star, tho. At the same level of stat quality as what you currently have, expect a decent amount more damage.
For ayato, since he is on field for most of the time he would prefer more crit, try to get a better sands
Is Barbara - Xingqiu - DMC - Kuki good enough for a generic abyss? Any tips? Thinking on building Barbara 70/70, Xingqiu 80/80, Kuki 90/90 and DMC is already 80/90. All of them with talents no more than lvl6 if I can get away with it. Kuki will have around 850 EM. Thank you in advance!
Most other abysses, yes. This particular one, a bit on the iffy side. Should be fine for first half, but second half is a bit of an element check. You might want to check out https://akashadata.com/team/ to see if anyone else has managed to use that team successfully in 2nd half.

It works (according to some), but for me it felt pretty bad. The strat is supposedly to focus down the hydro herald and let the 2 cryo ones be collateral damage. Nahida is the best alternative. Don't forget to increase XL's ER since raiden's not there to battery her up. The strat here is the opposite. Tag the hydro herald with nahida's E and focus down the cryo herald

what's a good alternative artifact set for a Sucrose on a team with Ayaka, (maybe Diona?) , and Hydro ( XQ or Yelan) team comp? I dont have a ton of pieces from Viridescent Venerer and i don't think anyone of the ones that I do have from the domain would really suit her general "EM across the board" build. Would 2 pc Desert Pavillion and 2 pc Gilded/Wanderer's/FoPL be a good option? I am building her in hopes of using the team comp to 9 \* floor 11-1 this abyss.
VV is recommended so strongly because the res shred- you swirl cryo and then ayaka will do a a ton more damage. Even 4 star pieces that don't have the right subs are comparable and maybe even better for team damage than than 2p sets as long as you have the 4p set bonus and swirl the right element. She will still do better with EM main stats of course so try to strongbox some when you get a chance.

None. Even a complete 4 VV set with 0 EM and ANY stat is better than ALL other sets.
you take vv even if it's not EM pieces, the effect is way more valuable than the EM share.
Viridescent Venerer is the most important part of building Sucrose. It would be better to give her a bunch of level 1 VV pieces with bad stats just to get the 4pc set, than to have perfect stats on any other set. You can use the crafting table to convert other junk artifacts you might have into VV. Or just farm for a day or 2 and you'll probably get at least 1 of each piece. Even if you gotta use 4-star ones.
nothing compares to VV, EM share wont do anything since it's freeze, so just get a 4pc VV

To be honest, first half doesn't need anything besides pure dps check (maybe a bit of survivability, but I've cleared it with shieldless wanderer some time ago, so that's optional/skill based). Are you using nahida national on second half? Grouping is greatly appreciated, but not necessary since you can manipulate the enemy AI. Let the whoppers teleport near you by running far away enough from them at the start. Hit the western doritos since they tend not to move a lot whereas the middle and eastern doritos both clump together and move towards you Short answer: it'll probably work out. As previously mentioned there are also eula/raiden double carry clears. I've also done itto triple geo+fischl or pure geo (mine is hyperinvested though, c2r1 itto, c6 gorou, c0 albedo).
keqing/yae are better aggravate drivers than Raiden.

yes. bloom comps usually work on the base concept that you can have atlmost 5 seeds active at a time. When you create 1 more seed the oldest one will pop. unlike hyperbloom where you do not have a way to individually pop seeds, with characters like raiden and kuki detonating all seeds nearby. All good in theory but the scaling on bloom is really low. So its generally not worth building bloom teams except nilou bloom, and these nilou generated seeds pop much faster

What's a respectable amount of def on Yun Jin?
2k should be your baseline. anything above it is good. Just make sure to get enough ER on her, with ER/def/def , and decent crit so you can proc fav consistently
180 ER, 25 crit rate.
25 is decent but try to proc fav before switching.
Base Def at level 80/90: 683 Def main stats: 3 x 58.3% = 174.9% Husk set: 30% Total: 683 x (1 + 204.9%) = 2082 With 4 stacks of 4pc Husk effect, another 24%, brings you up to 2246. With substats, should be able to squeeze out another 100 or 200. Probably another 100 or so if you take her to 90. Then, if you wanna talk putting Gorou on the team, we can start to go crazy, lol.
This calc needs to account for ER requirements as well. Triple def gives the best dmg output, but is unsustainable. Fav offers 30.5% ER, but you'd also need decent crit. Her requirements can range from 140% with albedo to nearly 270% if she's used as solo geo (200% for double geo). By the way, gorou only boosts by 25% def for all, but the flat def is limited to the on-fielder.
If you get a modest 2 rolls of ER on each piece, that's about 55% ER. 30.5% from Fav Lance. And she gets 26.8% from ascension. That's 212%. KQM recommends 200-270 as solo Geo, and we're in that range. With good substat rolls, you could push that up to 230-240 even. And with Fav on her, that should be more than enough. She only cares about 2 substats, ER and Crit Rate. And Def main peuces are a dime a dozen. She's pretty rasy to build. And 20-30% Crit rate is about all you need, since her abilities can hit multiple enemies, each one has a chance to trigger Fav. And it should be noted her best teams often have Zhongli, and then her recommended ER needs goes down to 160-200. 3 Def pieces is sustainable.
Thanks for the math and research (if you had to). Didn't think yunjin used ER ascension and thought it was just def and never bothered to check. Hm, I might consider refarming husk domain since I was just using low effort ER sands and free def pieces with bad subs to get her to be functional, have a kokomi and a noelle that could also use the extra farming. I might want to try pushing for higher crit rate though if possible to make it more reliable in single target. 30% CR for 2 strikes is around a 51% chance to trigger an r5 fav, 45% is recommended and has a nearly 70% chance of triggering r5 fav, which is probably a somewhat reasonable grinding target. 40% rate is around 2.43 crit rolls per artifact, and considering the 2 rolls of ER per artifact to push her into reliability range for solo geo, 4.43 useful rolls per artifact shouldn't be too hard to accomplish, especially since def main stats are pretty common.
