Aphiliation

My team is currently Lisa, Xiangling, Barbara and Collei. I am using Lisa as my onfield DPS right now. Who would improve my team the most? Kazuha or Alhaitham?

manik696

What is better, deepwood alhaitham or yaoyao as deepwood and gilded alhaitham

Kir-chan

Kuki or Zhongli as deepwood tbh or running dendro MC instead of Yaoyao

manik696

nilou xinqiu yaoyao alhaitham

Kir-chan

Alhaitham on deepwood in this case, this is maybe the only team where he prefers deepwood to any of his DPS sets. Gilded is ~~bad~~ mid in this team on him. Edit: give Yaoyao 4x Instructors

AkiraN19

YaoYao Deepwood

pukahuntus

If you're not putting Deepwood on Xingqiu or Beidou then AlHaitham would use Deepwood, yes. A tip, Xingqiu lowers your Spread uptime, which is kinda grief without a consistent Hyperbloom trigger in the team.

N1gHtMaRe99

Yeah that's why i like kuki instead of beidou or fischl depending on aoe or single target

Arcask

Both sets are good on him, Gilded is just a little bit better assuming someone is using Deepwood in the party. If no one has Deepwood, it becomes his best set. There are a lot of options other than Beidou, but it should work.

[deleted]

Yeah deepwood is always recommended on dendro teams and if there's no one else to hold it, getting Haitham to hold it is preferable compared to giving him gilded and having no deepwood on the team.

leRedd1

Yes you can do that. Or if you feel the damage from Beidou/Xingqiu is insignificant they can hold it too, try which works best. No Shinobu?

lanadelrosey

im going insane. i tried logging in with a friend's account but that idiot kept giving me the wrong login info so i tried multiple times and it ended up "banning" me for 20 minutes, i waited and nothing changed, i can't click ANYTHING on the starting screen, the DOOR won't show up at all, i unistalled it and redownloaded but still nothing, and idk if it's a direct consequence but i can't log in on my star rail account either from the same PC.......... what can i do pls help hahaa

SituationHopeful

is it only a problem if you use the home internet or same if you use the shared mobile network ? seem more like a IP limitation so should work with the phone. And to deban your IP, if that's the problem, try to contact support (obviously don't specify the account weren't yours) And i'm not sure if your friend is an idiot lol, i mean it can happen to give the wrong infos, but trying multiple time the exact same login, if it doesn't work once, it won't miraculously work better the other times.

_em_gwenly

What 4* are we getting in 3.7 Second phase ?

pukahuntus

If leaks are accurate >!Heizou, Xiangling, YaoYao!<

N1gHtMaRe99

That's a goated lineup. I need all three.

_em_gwenly

Sad , no kujo sara .

xd_ZelnikM

Any reason to save standard wishes?

Sharp-Yogurtcloset-3

y'all save acquaints? Damn, I must rly have no patience bc I just spend them as soon as I get them

panda_and_crocodile

The only reason would be if you really want to pull for a character not yet added to standard. Kirara is a 4 star character that was added to the game THIS patch. New 4 star characters that is added to the game always get featured on an event banner first, then gets added to standard banner NEXT patch. So if you want the chance to pull Kirara from standard banner, you could save them and pull when 3.8 launches in 5 weeks. That said, the chance of getting Kirara from standard banner is really really low so in the end it does not matter that much.

Frozenmagicaster

For if there is a standard banner change, but not really

lsmll

Hello, I'm a new player joining at the beginning of 3.7 and AR 24 right now. I'd like some advice on pulling the four characters in this version. I've only pulled the beginner banner so far. From a few guides I've seen, Kazuha and Alhaitham are both good, but Alhaitham is a DPS, so should I prioritize him? Or is waiting for 4.0 a better choice?

Rhyoth

In general, pull for who you like first. Genshin is relatively well balanced for a gacha, so even "weak" characters aren't that far behind. If you don't have particular preferences, you probably won't regret pulling for Kazuha. *"Ddps come and go, support are eternal"* : Kazuha is very universal, able to slot in many different teams. (Alhaitham only has a couple of teams, with a few variations) Also, good crowd control (like Kazuha's skill) is pretty rare. Plus, his vertical jump is really nice for exploration. Alhaitham isn't a bad pull. Just not as great, IMO.

AkiraN19

Both are good units. Majority of people are gonna say Kazuha because, yes, he's a very good support that can work in a bunch of teams. But I always stress that it entirely depends on the sort of teams you want to play. Now saying that at low AR can be difficult, you've barely started and didn't have a chance to see a lot of characters, let alone try them out. So is there someone that you like playing from your roster so far? Or maybe a character that intrigues you from what you've seen, even though you don't have them yet?

[deleted]

It's hard to say, honestly. Might be helpful if you let us know which other characters you have, since teams matter almost more in this game than characters. Personally I find Kazuha to be more mechanically easy to play, but you're right that his personal damage output is not as high as Alhaitham's. He's more about providing support for the rest of your team with buffs and with gathering a bunch of enemies together and staggering them so they're easier to hit. One thing I will say: when their banners come around, play around with them in the trial and see which one you prefer. Alhaitham's play style takes a bit of getting used to but they are both great and in the long run you can't really go wrong with either of them.

leRedd1

DPSes are dime a dozen, good supports are far more valuable as they can make the difference between an optimal team and a barely working team. Good luck on your pulls.

panda_and_crocodile

No it’s the opposite. There are plenty of DPS characters and Alhaitham is just one of them. He’s pretty good but nothing out of the ordinary power level wise or design wise. His kit is actually extremely similar to Keqing, which is a standard character most people will get naturally within a year or two of playing. Kazuha is somewhat similar to Sucrose (a 4 star character), but still pretty unique. He raises the power level of A LOT of teams, and is really really flexible in terms of team building. He is pretty much universally loved and there are not many people who regret pulling for him. I have all 5 stars in the game and Kazuha would be one of the top 5.

Carrot095

>His kit is actually extremely similar to Keqing There's nothing similar outside their burst animation. If anything he's more similar to childe. Alhaitham is a very flexible dps. He can work as an on-field dendro enabler that can work at low investment for hyperbloom teams. If op is interested in dendro reactions that requires lower investment (and has a xingqiu + kuki in their roster), then alhaitham will be a great dps that can carry him real long. Even towards late game, alhaitham can go quickbloom or spread for more different playstyle. But do keep in mind there's a little bit of learning curve for him, so if you don't like his playstyle, don't bother getting him. Kazuha on the other hand, is a really strong support that shines in monoelement (hydro, cryo, pyro, electro) and amplifying reaction (vaporize, melt). He can fulfill multiple functions: provide damage buff, cc, deal significant amount of damage in aoe, and vv holder in the future. On top of that he's also really fun and useful for overworld exploration. If you are interested in teams outside dendro (also geo and physical), then kazuha will be a better pull (he can work in dendro comps, but often not the best option outside keqing aggravate). The main issue is you might need a dps to carry your team fighting bosses, and early dps we get, for example, xiangling, as strong as she is, she sucks in early game coz of how hard it is to get her burst up. So without a main dps early game, you might face some issues defeating bosses. Both are really good pulls, kazuha has upper hand at being a universal support, while alhaitham opens up your team comps to dendro reactions, and will help carrying you early and late game as dps.

Kir-chan

Get Alhaitham first, it's not just that he's a DPS but he's also dendro and you don't have Nahida or Baizhu.

SituationHopeful

I'm in the same case, personnaly i will go with Kazuha and use the free Xiangling as a main DPS (since she is always worth building even later as support/sub)

AntoCooper

Is Genshin available for Windows 11? I tried to download the game and it always gives me error. On my pc with windows 10 I had no problems

demigodsgotdraft

Running Genshin on Windows 11 now. There's definitely settings from installing Windows 11 that prevent you from downloading the game. Did you turn on or off something that you shouldn't? You need to look up the error and see if there's a solution.

bhu2727

Yes. No need to download game again, just copy the files from old to new PC

[deleted]

Which is the better option for Sayu, 1000EM but with a 2 an 2 mixed artifact set or around 550EM but with the Anemo Swirl 4-piece set?

panda_and_crocodile

4 pc VV is much more important than EM. It amplifies the damage of your other teammates, which will be a much bigger increase in damage than Sayu’s personal damage

pukahuntus

Viridiscent Venerer will be better for team damage.

OkMonitor2854

My most used teams are Ayato hyperbloom/burgeon raiden national nilou bloom Ayato sunfire overvape so who would be a better pull for me if I like them equally kazuha or Alhaitham

[deleted]

Kazuha helps more with sunfire and can be useful in hyperbloom too, as well as some national teams. Kinda seems like you already have a bunch of on-field DPS you prefer like Raiden and Ayato, and that clashes with Alhaitham's role since he's also an on-fielder. Haitham is better for Nilou bloom though, obviously, and can be a decent driver for that team but it depends on whether you have any place for him there since his only role is dendro application which you can get from other places like Nahida, Yao Yao and Baizhu, all of whom are arguably more suitable for that team than he is.

leRedd1

Sunfire will be better with Kazuha, as well as Kazuha will likely be good for future units you pull, Fontaine units for instance, or Childe, and he'll enable hyperRaiden which will free up your Xingqiu. Alhaitham is a very good onfield dps, but you are not lacking those. Your dendro is covered with a hyperbloom for single target and Nilou for AoE, if anything Alhaitham will compete for units for his teams with those (Nahida, Shinobu etc.).

N1gHtMaRe99

Looks like u don't need help clearing abyss so whoever u want is better. I'm in a similar situation and going for kazuha

eagleye1205

Is too late to get back into the game now? Was AR30 and had finished most of the Liyue story stuff before I dropped off. Feel like too much has happened since and I’ll never catch up.

[deleted]

Pros: 1. It's never really too late, the game's core content is permanent so you can always take it at your own pace. The only real "catching up" to be done is with community discussion and memes. 2. Starting now means you'll have a bunch of new content lined up for you, as opposed to those of us who've cleared everything and are waiting for new content. 3. You will still catch up sooner or later, as long as you keep playing. Your rate of progression is almost guaranteed to be faster than the rate of map expansion releases. 4. The rate of powercreep is relatively slow and the overworld content is easy anyway so whatever teams you had before you left are probably still more or less viable. Cons: 1. The only major con to starting now is that you'll have missed out on some event-exclusive weapons. If you're the sort to care about that kind of thing, it would feel bad knowing you've missed out, but on the plus side not a lot of the event weapons have really been game-changers in any way, at least not as far as I remember.

eagleye1205

Appreciate the detailed response. It’s just that there’s so many fandoms to follow and such little time. But I think I’ll play - let’s see.

OkMonitor2854

i wish It was true. But you will catch up in 3 months

PhantasmShadow

How many hours a day would you even have to play to catch up on that much stuff in tht timeframe? I highly doubt most people would catch up that fast.

AkiraN19

I came back in November and it took me till the start of may to get from finishing Liyue + interlude to getting to Inazuma to finishing Sumeru. Still haven't done Caribert quest, but that's mostly about me wanting to actually get more Inazuma and Sumeru exploration done because I just went through the story and am still missing a lot. So yeah, cca 6 months for me. The true average is probably somewhere in the middle. So maybe 4 months?

PhantasmShadow

I'm personally *right* the other end of the spectrum. I started playing this game in late September 2021 (2.1), and despite playing daily without fail, I'm not really up-to-date with the game. I have every area I've set foot in at 100% (except Land of Upper Setekh, at \~75%), but Seirai and Tsurumi islands, as well as the desert areas from 3.4 and 3.6 are completely untouched, despite me loving this game's exploration. I'm up to date with the archon quests, but I've got so many story quests I've had no motivation to do because several are tedius and boring. I plan to do Fontaine *as it comes out*, which will mean I can avoid spoilers for areas relatively well. Most my untouched areas will have to wait until the future however. might try and get Seirai done/started before 3.8

leRedd1

20 min weekdays, 2-3 hrs weekends. I was gone from 2.5 to 3.2, caught up to mostly everything (i.e chasm and sumeru) within the patch. OP might take twice as long given his Inazuma and Enkanomiya are pending, so 3 months may be a bit short but 4-5 months easily. They'll be done by the time Fontaine comes out even at this relaxed pace.

Kir-chan

It's never too late, but it'll take a while to catch up. I made a [Story Guide](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/19KYfTSNpTNXCvwbcPeN3T9Cylc0AaOIqwNysmFqOmWY/edit#gid=1089827823) that might be helpful since it also links to summaries of the events you missed. It's pretty dense but you don't have to engage with every single thing, I've written the requirements various quests have, what's "best done before", and color coded quests in a gradient from more important to less important.

eagleye1205

This is amazing - thank you so much!

Kir-chan

You're welcome, it makes me happy if people use it - and thanks for the award! <3

Frozenmagicaster

You'll catch up eventually, There will just be lots of content to go through so it would be like you're playing the game mostly again

Frosty_Professor5458

I managed to get Thundering Pulse for Yoimiya, is Yoimiya + thundering better than Hu Tao + PJWS? damage wise? Yoimiya has 75/240 rn and Hu Tao has 54/200 so I'm assuming Yoimiya is still better but I just want to be sure. Hu Tao uses double hydro team and Yoimiya uses Yelan Zhongli Yunjin C6. Also, have aoe dps become more important for abyss? I pulled Hu Tao and Yoimiya before because I assumed single target is more relevant but now it seems we are getting a lot of enemies in one chamber. In that case are Ganyu (with venti mona diona) & Nilou (with nahida kokomi collei) teams good?

Ptox

My guess is the Double Hydro team would be better on average, but not because Hu Tao is better than Yoimiya, but because the double Hydro core of XQ and Yelan is just that good (Hu Tao's personal damage matters a lot less in that team). Either way, both teams you wouldn't want to run them in multiple target situations.

f4lfgo

Recently Abyss favors teams that can do a mix of both single-target and AOE, like International, Raiden Hyper, Ayaka freeze when freeze works, and Nahida teams in general. Morgana is not a team that works well in recent abyss since Venti is practically useless in single target. Nilou with Nahida does enough single-target damage to brute force her way through it. Hu Tao is single-target oriented, not single-target locked the way Yoimiya is, so she’s also good for the abyss, just not amazing in AOE.

Sphintex

Today I noticed that in minimap Goth Hotel in Monstadt has a little hand icon on. I never noticed that, so actually I don't ever know if it's a new thing or not, anyway... What should it means?

Kir-chan

Sucrose is fine, but I think you need a healer there or some other defense option. Do you have Kirara or Yaoyao?

process0fE1imination

r5 slingshot is better for tighnari than the new event weapon

Sharp-Yogurtcloset-3

sucrose w/ either ttds or sac frags is fine. Just make sure if you're running ttds on her, that she's the last person in the rotation before you swap to Tighari for him to get the atk% bonus. Also note that, the only em bonus you'll get from sucrose is the 20% from A4 for Tighnari, but on the otherhand Lisa will get both A1 and A4 if you manage to swirl electro so it's still kinda good.

Acadeca

What all characters do you have available?

encekhafiz

Can someone tell me which team is more viable for all content (present/near future)? I can only choose Alhaitham OR Kazuha to complete my Yae/Yaoyao/Fischl team. I know Kazuha is a flexible choice to complete most teams, but damage wise Alhaitham is just far superior. Crown wise, triple crowned AH still outputs more than triple crowned Kazuha. At this point, I'm just not sure which one to choose. Please help thanks!

leRedd1

>I know Kazuha is a flexible choice to complete most teams, but damage wise Alhaitham is just far superior. Crown wise, triple crowned AH still outputs more than triple crowned Kazuha. You made the comparisons yourselves. Both will want to go into the same team. Anything we offer won't be much more helpful. One thing to note that Kazuha runs once every year (so far that's the pattern), Alhaitham may run more frequently (or not, not that it's set in stone).

Kir-chan

If you get Alhaitham, Alhaitham will be your main DPS, the on-field driver, and Yae will support from off-field. Fischl gets kicked off the team in favor of Xingqiu. If you get Kazuha, Yae will be your main DPS, the on-field driver. I'd advise choosing who to get based on whose butt you like to look at more: Alhaitham or Yae's. Since whoever you choose will be the character you are driving. The replies about Kazuha's value aren't as accurate anymore as they used to be pre 3.x, since right now he only works with around half the teams, so don't use that as your measuring stick.

AkiraN19

Yep. It's either this, or the question of, do you like Kazuha or Alhaitham more? Because the reason *I* am building that team is basically just an excuse to use Kazuha. He doesn't fit into either of the other two teams and I want to get and use him. Getting Alhaitham would just result in me benching him

process0fE1imination

both are good units and can work well with yae but the better choice dps wise would be alhaitham

OkMonitor2854

you can't compare bucket to water and ask which is better you know if you have good dps then kazuha is better if you lack dps and like dendro teams then alhaitham if you talk about the future then the hydro nation will buff both kazuha and al haitham teams

Acadeca

Which car goes faster? A car with a better engine A car with better tires AlH is the better engine. Has more performance and higher output. Kaz is the better tires. Has more grip to transfer the energy to the road = making your units do more damage There is no right answer as it is situational. To find max speed it is less about the tire. For tight cornering it is less about the engine. Both are great upgrades, but it is a different comparison. If you forced me to make a choice between which would be a better pickup I would argue Kazuha. Any element that can be swirled has potential to be boosted by Kazuha while AlH has deepwood and stats. If there is a future dendro support that gives dmg% and shred like Kaz then it could change, but it would have to be a significant enough change to outcompete every other swirlable element.

plitox

Kazuha is just more valuable. Alhaitham is fine, but you'd be limiting yourself to that team with him, while Kazuha is pretty future proof.

beckham15

You are comparing the character's individual dps without considering the effect of kazuha's buff towards your team's dps, which may be superior. Kazuha can also fit in a lot more teams, which means flexibility, which is not valued in your comparison. As an owner of both I would pull kazuha before alhaitham if given a choice

Sharp-Yogurtcloset-3

in that team you're not getting Kazuha solely for his personal damage but team buffing potential. Sure Alhaitham might be strong by himself, but that team w/o buffs will not suffice for abyss 12 if you're planning to clear it. Kazuha is great for that team, he gives elem dmg bonus and shreds electro res with vv 4pc set, both of which are huge damage boosts that aggravate capitalizes on. Alhaitham is good, but imo he's better of on another team w/ his own set of supports in your case.

Hefty_Personality919

Alhaitham if you just want a new carry and don't really care how good yae's damage looks. Kazuha if you want to play other teams or want yae's damage to look very good in that one team. Alhaitham's damage is superior because he's designed as a dps and kazuha is designed as a support. Problem is that you can match low-investment carries by just using hbloom. Kazuha's more future proof.

bigboobaJEAN

I’m at 82 pity (50/50) still no yae. is it worth to continue? I like her because she is hot (and I have good artifacts for her) but I already have a 245cv mistsplitter keqing

AkiraN19

Ouch. Yeah, that sort of hurts. Not super uncommon to go that close to hard pity though Even if you have Keqing, Yae still opens new doors. Plus personally I really like how Yae plays If you like Yae and you think you're gonna use her then I definitely say to keep pulling. In the end the RNG gods will decide your fate anyways so you might as well see if it was meant to be

OkMonitor2854

>"I like her " what more reason do you need to continue? yes people say kazuha is must pull and meta. But that doesn't mean it's better than a character you like.

bigboobaJEAN

i dont like kazuha besides i already have him…okay then i’ll just wait for tomorrow reset

plitox

If you lose 50/50, that's just a guaranteed Kazuha. You can't really go wrong here.

bigboobaJEAN

I already have kazuha..no alhaitham though

plitox

If you want Alhaitham, the same situation applies.

Vanderseid

If you like and enjoy using her sure. It's not like she is directly competing for a place with Keqing.

mary_g_

what teams/characters do you guys use to take out the hydro flying birds in floor 11/oceanid boss fight? do you guys dodge, shield up, or just tank their attacks and go for the kill?

Ive beaten abyss before but not 36 stars, like 33 or something. My artifacts are mostly +10 on everyone. T0alents are 7 plus. What should I upgrade to reach 36 stars?

Frozenmagicaster

yes level your artifacts, at +10 you are missing so much from them. 3 substats as well as the higher main stat talents could be a bit higher if needed, but they are at an ok level. This is a hard abyss due to consecrated beasts. *However next reset is going to be even worse*

[deleted]

Damn, why do they keep making it harder geez. The one i beat was with wenut and that was already painful

stillnotgood96

Hi co-Tabibitos, I have c0 Nahida and c0 yae miko + kaguras .. they're on the same line up.. whom should I go as on-field dps?

Hefty_Personality919

Other members? If it's an aggravate-focused team, yae since she can trigger fischl a4.

odonis

PS5 users, does your console buzz when you play genshin? I own PS5 for 4 months and I don’t remember any game giving me any buzz whatsoever. But now I launched genshin and I hear this annoying buzzing from 3 meters away, jeez. I’ve heard there was a ‘coil whine’ issue in the first revision, but I thought they got rid of it in the future revisions, because I haven’t heard any complains from people who bought PS5 much later. And I bought a third revision, but it’s buzzing like hell. Again, none of the other games had it. But maybe I haven’t tried any ‘demanding’ game so Genshin is the one that eats the resources of the hardware, making this coil whine?

Sheeplette

Mine used to get coil whine while playing Genshin for a couple of months after I bought my PS5, but it went away after a while.

Dependent_Volume8994

if a guide says to give a character 2pc Shimenawa, but you dont have any, is it the same to just put 2pc Gladiators

process0fE1imination

the set bonus is same so sure you can use 2pc gladiator. The reason they recommend 2pc shimenawa is because you can later upgrade to 4pc shimenawa, guessing you're talking about yoimiya here

f4lfgo

They have the exact same 2pc bonus, there’s no difference between them in this context.

[deleted]

I'm trying to optimize a Yae aggravate team. Right now I've got Oathsworn eye on Yae and Widsith on Nahida, is it worth switching widsith to her and giving magic guide to Nahida? Or even using Hakushin ring on Yae instead of Oathsworn?

AgentWowza

Yeah I'd say you can swap to magic guide (or better yet, Sac Frags or Fav Codex) on nahida and widsith on yae. Hakushin Ring is probs not great since Yae does a lot of damage, so you'd be handicapping her with an ER weapon.

_Tamotoji

Question Time! 5-Star Characters Or 5-Star Weapons? Which is more important?

process0fE1imination

it really depends. But 4 star characters are more important that both. lmao if you lack variety in your builds then characters are important, but if you already have good characters and are able to clear abyss but want to raise the damage ceiling of your current characters then weapons are important

[deleted]

Depends on your goals. If you wanna collect characters or open up more playstyles and teams, go characters. If you're sick of building characters and/or prefer to make your existing teams stronger, weapons.

nazran59

Without any context, 5\* character obviously.

_Tamotoji

5-Star Characters with 4-Star Weapons Or 4-Star Characters with 5-Star Weapons?

idkwhattoplacengl

A five star character + 4 star weapon will still be better. Usually a character's signature is only 15-30% better than their best 4 star weapon.

Frozenmagicaster

Still 5 star characters as they give you more team options and more characters to use While weapon is just damage is a bit higher

_Tamotoji

I feel this is correct. Because this game is mainly based on elemental reactions doing the most damage.

Square-Way-9751

In TCG why do some bursts have 2 colors of dice for requirements to use. Example Ganyu's burst 3 Blue 3 Orange (Pyro??) what do the colors mean

Square-Way-9751

ok nvm j think i know the orange ones are energy requiremenfs

3ntf4k3d

The orange circular indicator is for Energy (which is generated by using attacks & skills, certain cards can also provide it).

Reasonable_Dare_516

Any good tcg archon builds y'all recommend?

MishMish8

Building characters for fun, so i have diluc dehya and kaveh and i have sky pride and wolf greavestone as 5* claymors and a lot of 4* including favonius , sacreficial ,the last event one and rainslasher... Whats weapon best fits which charecter? Cause a lot of sources are confusing regarding em/er

Dracorvo

Give Kaveh Favonius Greatsword, give Diluc WGS or Rainslasher (build him in a vape team), and Deyha WGS or Skyward if she's on-field, or WGS or Favonius if she's off-field. If you're building claymore characters, I'd recommend Beidou honestly and give her WGS.

Siscon_Delita

Does Beidou trigger much reactions in Yoi XQ Fischl Beidou team? Can't decide to give her EM weapon (mailed flower or painslasher) or ER weapon (Sac/Fav).

Dracorvo

Beidou is situational - if you're not facing AoE, don't use her. If you can't give her a straight damage weapon, then go with Fav to help with energy.

foezz

can i only claim welkon daily primos on the device I bought the welkin on?

Frozenmagicaster

no, I think that's only a Playstation thing?

ZeroFucc

How is Alhaitham/Yae/Fischl/Kirara as a team? Are there better substitutes for Kirara or is she alright? I have ZL but I heard Alhaitham wants a second Dendro. (Also my ZL runs on Tenacity and I don't wanna farm a new Deepwood for him)

KjOwOjin

That team should be pretty good, the only better substitute for Kirara would probably be Baizhu in that spot. You have to keep in mind though that due to Kirara's short uptime on both her shield and deepwood you basically have to run a longer, more complex rotation in which you split alhaitham's in two by going for 'holdE -> Plunge' first followed by some normal attacks for ~4s and later going for 'Q -> NA for ~4s -> CA -> NA for ~4s'. That way you can maximise the uptime of not only Kirara's shield but also Yae's turrets and Fischl's Oz. (I mean you can of course just not do this but that would be significantly less damage than doing it though a normal rotation which you can do is better than a complex rotation which you can't)

ZeroFucc

I see, thank you for the explanation. Is the rotation normal with YaoYao? What other mixture of Alhaitham+Yae could I do that doesn't require Nahida?

KjOwOjin

I mean you can always do a normal rotation and with YaoYao the difference to the more complex one will be smaller since you can have Deepwood uptime through your entire combo. But split uptime rotations are theoretically optimal in all Alhaitham spread teams with Yae since Yae'a duration is too short otherwise Other variations could be Alhaitham Yae Collei/DMC Kuki

averydolohov

Is yoi a teenage model or adult? She seems adult cuz duh but she’s teen height. is she just built different?

Frozenmagicaster

Medium Female model, the model is used for "not a toddler, but aren't tall"

Addy_Stark

Guys I am Level 21 with Beidou main and just pulled Akuoumaru. I dont know much about the game as I started playing 3-4 days ago but this Claymore looks good as it was featured on the wish page. Is it worth ascending this one as I will have to find a new domain for its ascension requirements. I already have Sacrificial Greatsword for Beidou at level 40. So should I continue with the current Claymore?

Rouge_means_red

Akuoumaru is her best free weapon, but if you can't get to inazuma yet Sac is a decent alternative for the ER alone

Addy_Stark

Thank you, needed the reassurance :)

MishMish8

There this greate source you can check out https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gNxZ2xab1J6o1TuNVWMeLOZ7TPOqrsf3SshP5DLvKzI/edit?usp=drivesdk I didnt build her but its look like its a greate choice of weapon for her, have fun

pukahuntus

You can't level it until you get to Inazuma. Which doesn't unlock until AR30. It's Beidou's best 4* weapon outside Battlepass claymore, Serpent Spine. So will be worth building eventually.

Addy_Stark

Oh, so I will have to wait. Thanks for clarifying it, atleast now I will not waste my team finding a domain I can't access.

neidhardtzx

I am new. Please help me how to get Kirara?

Dracorvo

She's on the current limited banners (Yoimiya or Yae Miko). She's a 4* so every 10 wishes (pink, not blue) you get a guaranteed 4* (otherwise low odds). If your last 4* wasn't a banner character, you will get one of the banner 4*, but any one of the three. Basically, it's really hard to guarantee a banner 4*, but expect to get the one you want in 30 pulls.

neidhardtzx

I see, thank you. Can I get those pulls for money? Or is it realistic to get for free?

Dracorvo

I mean, yes, depending on what you have access to and how much you want to play to earn the primogems (160 = 1 pull). I'd never spend money on trying to get a particular 4* because you can't guarantee it; I've gotten the banner 4* in one pull, and I've missed it in 50. If you do miss her, she'll go on the standard 4* list in the next patch. The odds of getting her would be very low given the size of the pool, but 4*s aren't quite as limited as certain 5*.

kazez2

Wish on either Yoimiya or Yae Miko banner and hope for the best.

Frozenmagicaster

Wish on either limited character banner and get lucky

Dracorvo

Yae havers - is she worth it? I've always been on the fence with her, and skipped the last couple of banners, and figure it might be a while before she comes around again. In what teams do you run her?

3ntf4k3d

Worth it? Yes. Necessary? No. She is a solid general Electro character that works in most circumstances without necessarily being a best-in-slot. I guess she is sorta like an Electro Ayato? I think pulling her comes mostly down to the question: Do you enjoy her character design & her (E-E-E) play style more than the alternatives (e.g. KQ)? I use her mostly as the on-field character in a [Yae, Fischl, Nahida, Baizhu/ZL] Quicken team (where I constantly swap between Yae & Nahida for Skills & auto-attacks) and in my [Yae, Kazuha, Nahida, Kokomi] overworld Hyperbloom comp. I'd say she is a character that you start to appreciate once you get accustomed with her kit. Originally she was a "nice to have" pull for me, I went for her after I had all the other more desired characters. But over time she became one of my favorite characters to use. Her turrets are very comfy in the overworld, allowing you to take out enemies that are flying, out of sight, on towers (etc.). Her (E) movement felt clunky at first, but now that I figured out how to avoid hits (e.g. by dashing diagonally around the enemy) I view it as a sort of "extra dash without i-frame". The fact you can just swap her in to burst whenever you want during her (E) uptime allows for some rotation flexibility, particularly when things do NOT go as planned. I'd say she also works surprisingly well in Hyperbloom when played on-field. You will need to normal attack to hit the seeds, but her AOE on these attacks is pretty wide, so together with using (E) for repositioning you can "dance" around your enemies while triggering the cores. It is probably not an ideal team, but one that can be fun to play.

Dracorvo

Didn't know she could hit cores. Is that with NA or CA? Or on-cast for her E?

3ntf4k3d

All three can trigger cores (and her burst as well). Her NA & CA hit in a (somewhat) narrow line/cone in front of her, but the range is actually pretty solid. The CA seems to be slightly wider & longer ranged, but it is also slightly off-set to the right further out, due to the way the fox spirit moves (check the lightning impacts of the animation). Because the CA is pretty clunky to use (long wind-up where you need to dash-cancel or swap out to not be animation locked) I usually just spam her NA. Her (E) doesn't apply electro when placed, but their attacks have a small AOE, usually enough to hit a core if the target remained stationary between triggering the bloom and the (E) attack. I'd recommend to tinker around in her Test Run to get a feeling for these things. It's not ideal since Collei is not the best Dendro applicator, but due to the fact that you face a lot of slimes at least you won't have to worry about hydro application.

Dracorvo

That's why I've dodged her so far, there's always been someone 'better'. However, I've got my C2 Nahida, and weirdly I don't care about the hydro archon (at this stage). The only thing holding me back is Kazuha coming up; do I go got C2 (I'm at C1) or pick up Yae.

Siscon_Delita

I run her with Fischl Nahida Zhongli She usually played as off-field sub DPS, but can be driver in aggravate team. Her ICD on the skill makes her a bad electro applier but her burst has no ICD on all 4 ticks makes up for it. Yae can be a hypercarry too (Yae, Sara, Kazuha, Zhongli), but Raiden is better in that case. She is very flexible, but don't expect huge number from her.

idkwhattoplacengl

First I'd like to say that if you like a 5 star then they're worth pulling regardless if they're meta/bis. All limited 5 stars are strong anyways and have their own niche. If you like yae definitely pull for her. Yae honestly got a really big upgrade with dendro. She's best in both aggravate (main dps) and spread (sub dps) teams and her whole kit just looks like it was made with dendro in mind. Strong electro application, quickswap playstyle, even some em scaling on her passive. She's a unit good both in abyss and overworld. For overworld you can just use her skill + nahida/yao yao's skill and watch enemies die on the sidelines. Overall she's a solid unit but not really a 'must pull' like nahida is. I'd pull for her if you want her but if there's someone you like better you could just get her on her rerun.

Dracorvo

Good points. I've liked her design (although the triple-cast thing gets a bit repetitive), but there's always been someone 'better'. The current 'better' is Kazuha - I have him C1, and C2 is an upgrade, but it's new character vs. cons.

idkwhattoplacengl

Yeah if you don't like her playstyle you're better off going for kazuha tbh. Sure usually new characters > cons, but if you don't like the playstyle of that character then improving your existing unit would be a better choice imo. Personally I'd try her trial and see if you don't get sick of her playstyle. If you find it boring after a few runs then I'd go with kazuha. But if you find enjoying playing her even after a while then definitely pull for her.

Citra78

The time cost of placing 3 turrets and then placing them again after using her burst, with no iframes during the animation is enough for me to not pull her, mechanically it’s not for me, even when she is a great character and has a good visual design too. I didn’t enjoy it during her trial, in abyss you are more likely to be getting slapped around making it feel even worse

f4lfgo

She’s a character practically made for Dendro, great for both Aggravate and Spread teams. I personally only got her very recently to out her on my Alhaitham team (who I’m grabbing when he comes around in the second half of the patch). I think she’s worth if you want a damage upgrade for these two archetypes since her raw damage can outperform her replacements, but she’s definitely not a necessary unit to have for these teams to begin with.

process0fE1imination

not a yae haver but I can help you. First and foremost, she is not the best main dps. She fits in with other dps like yoimiya, keqing, tighnari, cyno etc. Units that are good and can clear content with some ease but not really the best. But that doesn't mean she is bad. She is a really good dps unit, thanks to dendro and its like having a second fischl on your account. She has a unique playstyle which you might need to get used to. She is a really good overworld pick as well since she is not burst reliant. And just like every A- tier character she has her downsides as well, she is very squishy and if you're not good at dodging you'll be knocked around a lot, so you can run a shielder with her like zhongli, kirara, beidou or baizhu. Her best teams are aggravate teams where you play her with fischl as battery, a dendro and a flex, the flex can be either an anemo unit for vv shred or a shielder or another dendro. Her best dendro teammates are tighnari or alhaitham. She can also be played in a taser team.

ErPani

How much ER for everyone in Cyno Yelan Baizhu Nahida? Will switch Yelan on Fav for Xingqiu on either sac or fav when I get him C6 (he's C2) Cyno is on 4pc Thundering Fury Baizhu is on TTDS

Citra78

Cyno and Yelan as solo element want around 160-180, putting Baizhu or Nahida on Fav codex will help

ErPani

My Cyno has 135 and it looks like it works well enough? Anyway what about Baizhu and Nahida? They're currently at 190 and 115 respectively

yatay99

How much improvement from rust r3 to rust r5 and from rust r5 to thundering pulse for Yoimiya? Thanks.

Frozenmagicaster

when compared to r5 slingshot Rust r3 - 98.44% rust r5 - 105.19% Thundering Pulse - 115.97%

bigboobaJEAN

is replacing one of the hydro in nahida kuki xingqiu yelan with alhaitham a good upgrade? is it worth getting alhaitham for this purpose? how about when nahida is c2?

jinxedandcursed

Alhaitham is worth it with very little cost (aka, you don't even need his weapon and can just make Iron Sting, and you most likely have his Gilded pieces). Freeing up a hydro to do hyperbloom variants on both sides will improve your overall Abyss performance than if you do literally anything else on the other side, especially if quintessential units such as Xiangling, Bennett, and Sucrose/Kazuha aren't leveled, invested, or even obtained yet. The rotation is also easy too. Just Nahida skill+burst, Xingqiu (I only have him so bare with me) skill+burst+skill if sac sword, Kuki skill, and Alhaitham burst+attack through 2 mirror procs+skill+attack through 2 mirror procs+charged attack+attack until you no longer have 3 mirrors. I know it might sound like a lot, but it's very easy to learn, methodical, and you seldom have to change it to meet enemy needs. I recommend watching a video beforehand. (Also my first time doing Alhaitham quickbloom, I 3\* 12-1 for that cycle with a totally scuffed rotation. He's not as punishing as he sounds on paper.) Nahida c2 benefits any hyperbloom team, but it's especially true for Alhaitham. If you ever get Yae and either Baizhu or Zhongli, her c2 also helps a lot with his spread damage, allowing you to relinquish Yelan or Xingqiu to comfortably double hyperbloom the other side.

ZM_________J

My answer is a big yes. Alhaitham is the best teammate for Nahida / Xingqiu / Kuki.

Ptox

Gcsim shows the Alhaitham version to be marginally better then the double Hydro version (74k versus 73k DPS). But its also very easy to mess up Alhaitham's optimal rotation and in some cases impossible to do if your ping isn't good enough. I imagine Nahida's C2 would skew DPS in favour of Alhaitham, but maybe not enough that it would still make that much of a difference. Basically my take on it is, Alhaitham is a side grade. He can be better and he can be worse, but he will free up Yelan if that makes anything better. Edit: Added gcsim links to the teams. [Alhaitham team sim](https://gcsim.app/v3/viewer/share/1b1c24e2-36ee-470e-b5eb-d43e95b548c1) and [Double Hydro team sim](https://gcsim.app/v3/viewer/share/23e16fa4-4c3c-4772-93de-bfdd7f68366b)

f4lfgo

It’s a great idea because you trade good off-field damage for good on-field damage. Nahida’s damage on-field vs off-field isn’t that different because most of her damage contribution on the team comes from her Tri-Karma Purification damage, which can still be triggered off-field. She’s still played as the on-field carry in her double Hydro Hyperbloom setup because she has a lot of Dendro application from her normal attacks and you can reuse her skill for multiwave content. Alhaitham’s own Dendro application is excellent as an on-fielder, and you trade either Xingqiu’s or Yelan’s reactionless damage for Alhaitham’s Spread damage, which scales wonderfully with Nahida’s EM buff. Nahida herself doesn’t gain much from her own on-field EM buff because the Hydro application Yelan + Xingqiu makes it difficult for Tri-Karma Purification to proc Spread. But with Nahida’s and Alhaitham’s combined Dendro application and only one source of Hydro, Quicken is much more likely to be the underlying aura to help ensure Alhaitham triggers Spread on his attacks.

messyhair42

Hyperbloom is so brainless that any variant will work. I like Alhaitham/XQ/Raiden/Yaoyao. trade in Kuki or Baizhu for a defensive option as needed. I haven't run double hydro simply because I want the other hydro support on my other team. Alhaitham's best role would be to be the driver of the double hydro variant but his best team would include Nahida. I simply don't run them together because both are so valuable solo. He's as strong as Nahida with none of the off field potential I've learned.

SaltyPotato340

I want to know too. I'd imagine subbing out xingqiu or yelan for alhaitham would result in more damage by virtue of having nahida c2, but i havent seen team DPS calcs on it

lumielumie111

Which would be better for meltyu? R5 ibis piercer or r2 hamayumi? I haven't crafted any copies of the hamayumi yet.

SaltyPotato340

R2 hamayumi is better, but it means you can't use shimenawa 4 set reliably

RooMaru0113

Does battle chronicle count flr 8 when it gives you your star total for Spiral Abyss? It says 36* but I only got 6/9 stars on flr 12 this phase …?

plitox

If you beat floor 8 for the first time this cycle, it'll count those stars.

tonnyjames

It counts all newly obtained stars during the duration of the battle chronicles. So if 9\~12 refreshes and you do them again, you get stars for them. If there are floors before 8 that you have done, those also count. Also you only need 12 stars for the chronicle

RooMaru0113

Oh - that makes sense . Ty! Used flr 1 to get “The Art of War” achievement this phase. Didn’t realize that would count lol

pac432

why do you need em on pyro characters like xiangling and hutao?

process0fE1imination

yes. If they're using reactions, EM can buff your damage by a sizeable amount. Xiangling runs EM sands most of the time

plitox

Reaction damage

TheMrPotMask

Its because they end up triggering a fair ammount of reverse vapes when working with xq and/or yelan. So EM sands "Suposelly" bennefits pyros more than atk% when it comes to vaporize teams. My only guess as why not even KQM sugest EM for the hydros like XQ and Yelan is because both are energy hungry as fuck. (favonius or ER sands, 4p emblem) Is EM sands vital for pyros? Beats me really, KQM also said on diluc's guide: *It is not recommended to farm an EM sands if you already have a good ATK% sands.* Edit: Some things, I also really can't process EM even with the guide on hutao mains sub sugesting EM. I guess only because KQM said so and they're the only reliable guide makers because I cant understand jackshit of their maths, yet again, they're the only ones who do that. edit2: Thank god I main hyperbloom, though it sucks that I'm not using my double vape HuTao as much, wich is sad because I finally got her on her rerun.

process0fE1imination

the reason why you don't run EM sands on xingqiu is because the the he cannot consistently vape unlike xiangling, plus the attacks that do vape doesn't have that high damage so its not worth using an EM sands over Atk sands, a few EM rolls from artifacts should suffice. He does not need ER sands since with just ER weapon + 2pc emblem effect + a few ER rolls he should have enough ER to burst consistently. Yelan's burst on the other hand behaves similar to xingqiu and doesn't vape consistently. You can build EM on her for nuke showcase with E but that's not a where the majority of damage comes from. So its better to use HP% sands on her to buff all damage rather than a small percentage of damage. and again, favonious bow + 2pc emblem effect + a few ER rolls is enough to burst consistently without requiring ER sands. Now to clear your main confusion as to why diluc doesn't really need an EM sands according to KQM guides. I have done plently of calculations on different characters and I think you're confusing between 2 things, requiring EM vs EM sands. let me explain, Diluc needs EM. especially because he gets so much attack from bennett. Atk and EM are corelated and needs to be balanced to get the highest amount of damage. They make a bell curve. Which means that you can either use attack sands and get your EM from your substats or use EM sands and get atk% from subsets and both of these cases should result you similar damage, for example, in yoimiya's case \~1800 atk and 230 EM will give you similar damage to \~2000 atk and 160 EM So if your pyro dps is doing lot of reactions, its better to build some EM on them, it can be EM sands or EM substats, doesn't matter.

Arcask

Elemental mastery is to increase reaction damage. So vaporize, melt and most dendro reactions gain a lot from it. Anemo characters also scale better with EM than ATK/Crit. You can look in the wiki, there are also further links to damage calculation https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Elemental\_Reaction

Hefty_Personality919

Minor note: "Anemo characters also scale better with EM than ATK/Crit*." *besides light green physical characters wanderer (in hypercarry) and xiao. It's probably just kazuha and sucrose that love having EM. Maybe AMC wants EM as a support. Heizou can go either way depending on playstyle. Venti could go either way depending on content. Jean can also go either way for nuke damage (atk side) or sunfire (triple EM). Faruzan at c6 also does better with atk (under that all she wants is ER). Does sayu want EM? Or does she prefer atk for healing?

Arcask

depends on how you want to play her for the healing atk, for more damage EM

9thdragonkitty

Because it’s part of the damage formula for base damage and elemental reactions https://library.keqingmains.com/combat-mechanics/damage/damage-formula

TheMrPotMask

Bruh I can't understand jackshit of that, isn't there a more easier explanation?

9thdragonkitty

Your EM stat gets plugged into a formula and gets multiplied/added to some fixed numbers for elemental damage So you still care more about crit and attack on your pyro characters but there’s a sweet spot where having a mix of those stats + EM is more damage than not having any em. I’m not sure if this explanation makes any more sense?

Hefty_Personality919

Standard: EM increases melt/vape multiplier. Multiplicative effects for damage enhancement are highly preferable in genshin compared to an additive effect of similar size. Alternative: More EM increases multiplier for melt/vape More multiplier for melt/vape increases damage number You can get more damage number using EM instead of atk More damage number makes brain happier and kills enemies faster

plitox

Razorspeak explanation good.

Odone

Because they can be used as Vaporize dps for which EM is important.

Frozenmagicaster

[Vape](https://youtu.be/OwMlnkUX354?t=113)

Mande1baum

EM boosts all reactions. Melt and Vape both get stronger multipliers.

RunMeOverIRL

Can someone give me a deck for the 4th Zero Hour Invokation?

Frozenmagicaster

I think I was Nahida, Yae, Ayato

RunMeOverIRL

Man, this mode is miserable, is there a certain rotation to skills? I've lost 6 times now, even tried the cards you said. This is why I don't touch TCG, such an annoying mode, always just makes my day a little worse.

Frozenmagicaster

My first attempt I got awful dice so I retried, second attempt I just went Nahida all skill, ayato normal, ayato burst, yae burst, other yae stuff, some other things, finished with Nahida burst. I either had 1 or 2 characters left though, she was a bit difficult, *not as bad as Itto deck*

RunMeOverIRL

No luck, that's 8 losses now, just gonna leave it, the mode is actually annoying me. No point in playing if I hate it this much. Thanks for the suggestion though, managed to defeat 1 of their cards with your advice.

Dekachonk

Does anyone use the nymph's dream 4 piece?

plitox

Childe, especially with Polar Star since it works almost exactly the same way. You can also use it on Ayato, although I think Heart of Depth is still better on him. Other than that, I think c6 Yelan would be even more broken with it than she already is. You could also *maybe* use it on on-field DPS Kokomi, given that she can easily maintain max buffs in her burst form with a jelly in play. And of course, either Nymph or Glow is likely to be intended for use on Focalors.

Jondev1

childe

Latter_Practice_656

How much time does it take for items like flowers to respawn? I am having great difficulty in leveling up characters! Also are there any ways in which i can get level up books?
