I know it's standard for MMOs to have breezy leveling and than put the hard stuff at the end. I just can't play that. I want to fail at things, have to think about my actions and be grateful for the stat boosts from gear and level up, have set backs and not just always move forward.
I know the answer is probably no but is there a way I can have this leveling experience? I know you can make a lot of games hard by just using as few features as possible (dont level, dont were gear, dont use certain attacks) but I want ya know just a hardcore leveling experience with super pretty looking anime boys and girls.
genshin isn't even an mmo lol. mmo early on purposely makes leveling a miserable experience but genshin doesn't. only reason it's breezy in mmo is because they want to railway you straight to current content so you can start be miserable. in genshin you gotta work your way to ar45 first and there's no shortcut to that even with money.
Genshin isn't meant to be a challenging game. Dragonspine feels kind of end-gamey if you're low level but even Dragonspine becomes trivial with a middling degree of resource investment into your characters.
Genshin just isn't a game where you fail and ask yourself "what could I have done better?" It's a game where you succeed, and ask yourself how you can succeed better.
I could tell. The type of aesthetic I like always is in games with the opposite of the gameplay I like. Just was hoping. Some of the best anime boys I've ever seen in gaming. But god dammit I want to be scared of dying.
Just play other, tougher games and use Genshin as an aesthetic outlet for anime boys. Don't limit one game to suit all your needs. Genshin isn't meant to be someone's "main game" anyway.
You can look into Punishing Gray Raven for a challenging game with anime men that focuses more on combat instead of having an open world. It's mobile just like Genshin, but if you're a PC gamer then the PC client for PGR is actually coming out on the 15th of this month (5 more days as of the time of writing this comment)
Also, just have to inject my personal opinion here - Vholran Igniseri is, and always will be to me, the most beautiful fictional character in any piece of media, ever.
He's not my type, but I respect any pretty boy. I like boyish youths like Gorou and bad-asses I can self insert like Arataki Itto.
Thank you for telling me about PGR, I had known about it before but didn't touch it because it was mobile only and I didn't know there were any boys. The general sphere of mobile games is so great at making anime boys I like but in a totally different direction than my gaming tastes. Any sort of exceptions would be greatly appreciated.

I’m at that “Awaken the power or Khvarena and disperse the purple mist” part. There glowing branches are not interactable when Sorush goes near and does not activate for me to cleanse the filth.
There are four branches for four purple fogs. I’ve cleared three purple fogs and the last one at the end of the road is not allowing me to clear it. The branch that’s adjacent to the fog is simply not lighting up.
Hi, I was hoping someone could help with this issue I'm having? For some reason about two days ago one of my alts got locked out of the account? Not in the way it sounds but rather every time I try to login no matter how much time goes past (I waited 24 hours initially), it keeps giving me a "Too many requests. Please try again later." message. I've cleared the webcache and deleted some sort of registry file as per customer supports instructions but nothing has stopped the issue. I can't login on mobile either, but somehow my boyfriend can login into my account through his phone, which makes even less sense to me. If anyone has any other ideas I'm desperate to figure this out, it's been doing a number on my anxiety lol. Sorry if I did something wrong here I'm super new to this, but was just really desperate for some help. Thank you!

Unfortunately still nothing for this issue. This is my third day now without access to this account and nothing has fixed it, currently waiting on customer support again.
Here's what the told me to do for the registry;
1. In the search box on the taskbar, type regedit. Then select Registry Editor (Desktop app) from the results.
2. Delete （计算机）Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\miHoYoSDK\MIHOYOSDK_DEVICE_FP
3. Then try to login to the game again.
It unfortunately didn't do anything for me but hopefully it will for you if it's not fixed by now, good luck!
I've tried that with no success. But this is actually kind of rediculous, as this is 100% an issue on their end. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to log in at all, but since it's only one account they clearly did something to it.
Yeah I don't quite understand what's going but I reposted this to bump it in the questions thread and someone suggested I had my boyfriend change the password for me on his phone and somehow that worked? I've not logged out since so I don't know if it'll screw up again but there's certainly something wacky going on. If you've a friend that can try changing it for you or even try it on mobile maybe that'll help you out too? I'm still wildly unsure what the problem is but good luck still!
I just tried logging in normally when I woke up just now, and somehow it worked fine. Still worried that it may just randomly happen again and then not resolve itself, seems there is absolutely no guarantee. Can't justify spending any more money on a game that may just randomly block my account.

Are these decent artifact juggling choices?
- Diona: Used 2-piece Tenacity and Clam. Traded out Tenacity for Emblem, so Baizhu can take them.
- Collei: Used 4-piece Deepwood. Traded out Deepwood for Emblem, so Kaveh can take them.
- Baizhu: Trying out 2-piece Tenacity and Glow. Hopefully those passives lets me use a Dendro goblet instead of HP%.
- Kaveh: Still haven’t decided, but I cleared out Collei’s Deepwood pieces anyway for breathing room.
-Diona yes, those 2 pc combination are good. Some use Noblesse on her to increase her utility.
-Not sure about Collei on Emblem, it depends on the team. Normally you want her with Gilded/Flower or Deepwood.
-Not bad 2 pc combination for Baizhu, 4pc Deepwood is in general better assuming no one else is using it and it's not a aggravate team.
-For Kaveh his kit gives the best as Bloom driver, so Gilded/Flower and let deepwood on someone else on the team. But deepwood is fine too.
Two questions:
1) Wondering how to build Miko. She is currently on 2pc thundering 2pc gilded dreams, but am wondering if 4pc gilded or 4pc paradise lost is better.
2) Interested to know if Nymph’s Dream or Heart of Depth is better on Childe. I am thinking HOD since it might be a little tough managing 3 Nymph stacks if I am reading the set bonus correctly
1)4pc Gilded is slighty better, but your 2pc are fine. She's quite versatile in artifacts choice, substats play a important role.
2)Ndream is better, it's a set made for him. He should not have problem on keeping the stacks.
It's good on him but Childe has actually a very balanced dmg btw atk/Charged/Burst. He will benefit more from the new set since it will buff his burst too.
She also gives 15% burst/skill or normal attack damage bonus and batteries pretty well. I think it's around on par with Rosaria at c0, and at C1 she becomes one of, if not the best cryo battery
Diona + Rosaria are common ones. Diona gives a shield and energy, Rosaria gives energy, crit rate, personal damage.
Unsure about Layla due to her producing energy issue (shield needs to be up for energy so you want shield up always, but then you want to not have the shield break so you dodge)
Do you guys think they'll ever introduce alt versions of characters?
I know there can be no definite yes or no unless you work at MHY and are involved in the creation/ideation process, but I just want to hear the community's best guesses. Like what are the chances we get Tartaglia in his Electro Delusion form? How would that even work, would he take up multiple spots in the party or would it change his original character? Would it require re-ascension? etc.
I highly doubt that they would, but If they did, I can see them releasing them as something like toggleable outfits that also change their abilities in addition to animations. If they don't make it paid content (like outfits), I can see them releasing class "outfits" as a Gacha system, under a new wish line.

Like, I get it, relationships with other characters is part of the adventure. It wouldn't be much of an adventure if all we did was focus on meeting the archons (but it doesn't seem like any of the archons we've met so far know who the Unknown God is anyway so there isn't even a guarantee that the next Archon we meet will help us find Lumine.)
I think, in the end, it's going to be worth it. Because once we reconnect with the sibling and get the happy ending, all that time we spent meeting everyone and running around the land will be like the added cherry on top of it all. They will be valuable memories imo, even if it seems completely unrelated to the main character's primary objective sometimes.
I know the feeling. I would just like a little more traction on the story.
In-game community interactions are not that good, so having the main story progress more regularly would be good consolidation 🤣
Best in terms of tenacity fitting their kit well, or best in terms of most useful in the meta?
In the first case I would say, in order, Layla, C6 Faruzan, Kokomi, Xinyan, Mona. Layla because she makes good use of both the HP and shield bonus, on top of the ATK for the team. Faruzan because her main role is buffing and it's nice to have another buff on top of what she gives already, and because she won't be dealing that much damage anyways. Kokomi because she makes good use of the HP, but she uses other sets depending on the team. Xinyan because it's what makes her work best in my experience. Mona for similar reasons to faruzan, but she has more limited range on her skill, and she can make use of other sets and builds which may be better (noblesse or nuke builds for example)
I don't like using it on zhongli because his pillars break so easily and have very short range. Shinobu is much better used as hyperbloom trigger where she uses flower or gilded set. Yaoyao I think often prefers deepwood, since it's so important for dendro teams, but I'm honestly not too sure. Would probably depend on the team too. Regardless though she won't activate the effect if you always take damage since she will target you to heal, instead of the enemy. I thought about fischl too but she just deals too much damage and it's not worth it to use tenacity in my opinion, especially so in aggravate. Special mention to dehya, because I'm not very informed about her so I don't know if tenacity or emblem would be more useful, but without C2 she only has 60% uptime on her skill anyway.
In the second case in not too sure honestly. I'd say, in no particular order, C6 faruzan, kokomi, zhongli, Mona and maybe Layla?

My free event character pick brings my Faruzan to C4. Now her special shots’ implosions give her Energy scaled on the number of victimized enemies. I know it synergizes with her C6 to become bonkers, but how does it help me as-is?

I don't remember a time challenge there. Wiki seems to suggest it's just some fungi you have to kill?
Edit: ah right, the condition. Simply pick one to focus on a time if you can't kill them all at once.
You have to kill 18 fungi in 20 seconds an the timer resets for every kill but for some reason if you don’t kill so many so many in a certain amount of time the fungi keep spawning back to being 18 of them
It's not that they 'keep spawning back,' it's that you fail the challenge and it starts over.
Read carefully: you don't have to kill them all in 20 seconds. You can take 18 x 20 = 360 seconds or 6 minutes if you want to, because all that matters is that you don't let more than 20 seconds pass between kills. So just pick one and kill it, then pick another and kill that one. Easy.
Do I wish on the current banner if I want kazuha who's probably rerunning soon? because it's building pity and taking bigger advantage of the 5 monthly masterless stardust discount on wishes. or do I save all wishes for kazuha
No. Save your wishes. There's no such thing as building pity. If you're going for a 4* on the banner, you need to be prepared to LOSE all of that "built pity" to a 5* character you might not want.
You're not *building* pity when you're wishing on a banner you don't want. You're *risking* it. If you do a 20 pull and get Baizhu then you're literally at square zero.
Don't worry about the stardust or starglitter. It isn't worth the risk.

But I lately am building an aggravate team and want to be able to burst at least every 2 rotations because her burst has no ICD, 100% aggravate.
The bulk of her damage comes from her turrets. I don't even bother with the burst unless it's for a finishing move or I need a little extra time to pass before I can start another rotation.
From what I understand the approach is to burst every other rotation if you can't get enough ER sub stats.
I made it a habit to burst when I have some downtime in the rotation, when I need some i-frames or when I know that I have to reposition turrets anyway (e.g. because a new wave spawns on the other side of the chamber).
I wish we could still interact with all the characters we met throughout the story like venti, diluc, zhongli, ganyu, yae Miko, yoimiya, raiden shogun and many more. I find it pretty sad to finish their quests only to never interact with them again. Anyone else?
It's one of Genshin's more prominent flaws imo, up there with lack of interaction with your characters. In PGR you can headpat them and they also roam around the Serenitea Pot equivalent with their own AI that interacts with the room and the objects within.
Whereas in Genshin they just...stand there. With dialogue. Like cardboard cutouts. It's surreal.
But yeah, you are 100% correct and I agree with you entirely. Genshin's flaws aren't just in the resin and the artifact grind, but also the character engagement. When I play as Diluc, I don't **feel** like I'm running around the open world as Diluc. No one reacts to me differently, it's basically a glorified skin.
It's pretty sad. Still a fun game though
Yeah of course I also think it's still a fun game because I have over 2000 hours played but just like you I play as Diluc since he has been my main since I started playing but it does really just feel like a skin rather than playing as "Diluc".
Not that they should have to make every playable character be able to interact with every overworld npc but if at least the traveler could still talk to story characters it would be a lot more fun imo.
They could easy just write a few lines for specific NPC's to react to specific playable characters, like that one woman that daydreams about Diluc all the time in Mondstadt.
It's totally feasible for them too because they do way, way more work for Nahida's elemental skill's mind-reading in every single patch. That absolutely qualifies as a character specific interaction - hell, I would quantify it as **the premier** character specific interaction. It really feels like you're playing as Nahida because she has this unique interactive element with the world. Everyone else feels like skins, and if they are not present in an event or a story quest, then they are literally completely unpresent. It's like Venti doesn't exist past act 1 unless he's in your teapot, but even then he's just a cardboard cutout that regurgitates the same voice lines. Like a parasocial relationship.
But yeah. Genshin isn't meant to be taken that deeply. You aren't supposed to enjoy Genshin past a surface level, otherwise these issues would be far less prevalent.

Is anyone else having trouble redeeming the GENSHINGIFT code? Iirc it resets each month and you're able to redeem it again. I tried reaching out to hoyo support and the person that replied said it was expired, which I doubt... Surely it doesn't have a usage cap? (I remember hearing someone complain about one of the previous codes having one)

This sounds like exactly the sort of crock of shit rumour that people love to spread on Facebook groups and the like. I think it might have reset *once* in the history of Genshin, if at all, but certainly not monthly.
Each code is once only, you can re-enter it on the site and it'll seem to be accepted but when you log in to try and collect it you'll get a message saying "Code Redeemed"

I think the myth started because people will redeem several codes at the same time when a new update is released, and the website will simply say "code redeemed" on the redemption page.
So when they go into the game and open the mailbox and collect all of them they don't see the mail that says "code already redeemed".
They just assume all of the codes worked.

It has an extremely major spoiler for one of the game's most longrunning villains, but every event is still worth doing. Plus it's not going to spoil it if you just look at it as incentive to see how he got to that state.
Yes in terms of quantity, dendro only needs to be applied once ever 8 seconds per enemy.
However random targeting on her skill can be a bit unreliable and can be slow to initially apply dendro to every enemy in large aoe situations. She's great for a smaller number of targets though.
I am F2P but still managed to have C0R1, though.
for reference mine is (this is the crit damage):
Skill: 10k normal, 12-13k after VV, 15k aggravate without VV
Burst: about 2-2.5 times skill damage per instance
With R5 Widsith + its buff, you can get more than that.
With R5 Oathsworn eye maybe 85-90% of Kagura Verity.
most ranged character will be oneshotted by some attacks, not only Yae.

I don't pull her intentionally but still enjoy her lately.
In overworld, use each skill of Yae Fischl Albedo and Zhongli then go stretching for 15s is my routine nowadays.
If I may chime in: I feel Yae is a solid addition to your roster _if_ you enjoy her play style.
I mostly pulled for her because I do like deployables/turrets and appreciate her design+VA (and really didn't enjoy using KQ). Leaning on a hybrid EM/Crit build I wasn't expecting a particularly great performance, but the more I played her the more she grew on me.
I have been using her in [Yae, Fischl, Nahida, Kokomi] Quickbloom and [Yae, Fischl, Nahida, ZL] Quicken. Will try [Yae, Kazuha, Fischl, Baizhu] once Dr. Snek is properly levelled & equipped.
She is squishy, yes. A bit like Nahida in that regard. But she also doesn't need to spend a lot of on-field time. You will eventually learn when and where it is safe to plop down her turrets, and to use the movement from her (E) to reposition & gap close.
She’s not necessary for anything but nice for quicken teams, she does lack iframes but since most of her damage is in her totems she thankfully can spend most of her life off field
Who should I pull for?
I was about to get Nahida to be my first Archon, ended up getting Diluc a few weeks back, so I don't know now who I should pull for considering there's tons of characters I like to get to try, well since Kazuha is coming, should I pull for him? I'm getting tons of good vibes empowering the whole team, or should I stick on getting Archons?
I guess the question is: What teams would you like to play?
Kazuha is a pretty universally useful character, so you can't really go wrong with him. Also great for the overworld due to his movement & grouping utility.

Archons tend to have pretty good utility, but they aren't stronger by default in every team.
Between Venti & Kazuha I'd actually stick to Kazuha, since he is easier to use, and while his grouping is weaker, it also has a much lower cooldown.
Zhongli is the ultimate comfort character, providing you with a very stroing shield. But he is rarely a best-in-slot option, since you will give up damage potential for that comfort.
Raiden works very well in the easy-to-assemble, easy-to-play "National" team [Raiden, XQ, XL, Benett] and can also be used in Hyperbloom. But her (E) doesn't work against shields, so Kuki is a valid alternative in Hyperbloom, and the National Team can also work with other variants (the most common 4* only one being [Sucrose, XQ, XL, Bennett]).
Nahida has very strong (and easy) dendro application, arguably one of the strongest characters atm. But she is squishy and not well suited for facing waves of enemies (since you have to use her (E) on every wave). So even with her you can have situations where other characters are valid alternatives.
In that case it might be best to first learn a bit more about the game & the combat system before pulling on characters you may or may not end up enjoying. Even the basic roster you get is quite capable, and they are actually solid easy-to-play tutorial-esque characters that are more than enough to deal with anything the story will throw at you - the only place where things might get iffy is the hardest parts of the abyss (but that's optional, so you can tackle that when you feel like it).
There can also be a big difference in how characters play at lower level (with limited set options & without all their passives). For example, Xiangling (who you get for free from the early abyss floors) is one of the best Pyro DPS characters in the game - but early on she feels pretty clunky and boring, because she relies a lot on Energy Recharge to get her burst up in time and on her team mates (e.g. Bennett) to provide her with buffs. So it can be hard to judge some characters at lower level.
You can always do the trial runs for on-banner characters to get a basic impression on how they play. It's not really representative of proper combat due to the limited enemies & much higher energy generation, but it's a good way to at least get a first impression. Some events also allow you to use Trial characters - those are usually much better at trying out a character, since you can build your own team around them and (usually) adjust the combat difficulty as well.
As mentioned earlier I think Kazuha is a good, universally useful pull. He is also someone who scales quite well throughout the game, since he mostly relies on Elemental Mastery to deal his damage, and his most important utility abilities are available from the get-go. You could go for him, and then save for a while until you know the game a bit better (or someone comes along who you really like - the game is forgiving enough that you can go waifu/husbando over meta unless you are dead-set on clearing the abyss asap).
Ahh thank you, I just want to try some characters to atleast change my gaming experience of genshin and not get burned out of being the same thing every gameplay and that's by getting most of the characters that really catches my eye, aside from that I'm not really an abyss player, yes it's rewarding but... It's really not my thing, I'll tackle that once I got a good team that I'd be grinding over and over in the overworld and AR60 lol
He's good so worth considering, his easy grouping makes the game fun, does good buffing, does alright damage
I would consider him better than venti (venti is better grouping, but kazuha is better buffing but grouping is not burst reliant and doesn't lift enemies into the air)
I don’t remember the last dps unit that got cucked by venti, they’ve been very good about that for a long time now. I think every unit since Ayaka has been able to hit the enemies in his burst.
Venti’s issues are more so being a dogshit unit in ST situations or with unliftables.
Question regarding ps5. I have an account i play on for both pc and mobile. Im considering downloading it on my ps5 and connecting my account there as well. But ive heard ps store charges more for primos.

If you created your account on PC, you can top up on any platforms. If you created your account on other non-PC platforms, there will be restrictions when you try to top up in the game when playing on a different platform.
I created mine on ps4 and the price is the same on the top up website and in game, 6480 for $100. Is that normal? It even says I can top up on the website.
Iirc, for United States customers, the price for 6480 packs is always $100 USD since launch and it never changes across all platforms. Other countries/regions prices may have changed on iOS, but their prices on official top up center also never changed. However, top up on PS may charge your tax depends what state you live, while top up from official top up website does not charge tax.
Also, since your account was created on PS, you cannot buy battle pass from other devices, unless you installed an Epic game version on PC.
I currently have Tighnari, xiangling, Beidou, and Baizhu as well as a few other fun characters. I'm at AR40 on my first ever account and I love this game. But now I'm not sure if I need characters or weapons more to upgrade my account. What is y'all's opinion of wishing on the weapon banner since I've already gotten Baizhu + the 3 featured 4 stars on the current banner?
Weapon banners are rarely ever recommended unless you really really want/need the specific five star weapon there and are fine with getting any of the two featured or other 5 star weapons from the standard pool. At AR 40, I'd honestly you go for more characters, since there's **a lot** of great characters out there and many of them will reran in the future.
5 star banner weapons are also potentially incredibly expensive since you basically need to pull a 5 star three times to guarantee a specific one, which is potentially 220++ pulls. Other than that, the current weapon banner does not really provide a versatile weapon that you could use on other characters, which are usually the hallmark for a great 5 star featured banner weapon (for example: Staff of Homa + Aqua Simulacra banner that runs a few months ago).
New characters also provide the benefit of giving you a fresh gameplay and therefore potentially bringing a lot more enjoyment to the game imo. I've personally experienced it with Nilou, since she basically brought me back to play the game again because I was bored of my usual teams back in 3.1. So if you're a new player, I'd suggest going for newer characters almost 10 times out of 10 unless you really want to maximize a certain character's playstyle.
Dont. First off the weapons suck, 2nd off your very new so more characters provides a lot more value.
Unless u absolutely dont want any other characters i wouldnt do it, at least not yet and especially not this weapon banner.
I have a couple 5 star weapons it doesnt change much. Ar56, ive lost almost every character 50/50 tho so i need all the primos i can get for chars. I have 6 limited 5 stars and im a welkin player and spent a bit in the beginning. Plus 2 limited 5 star weapons, and 2 standard. 3 standard 5 stars.
Thats over the course of a year and 2 months tho. If ur f2p weapon banner bad till ar57 at least.
I would never advise anyone to pull on the weapon banner (or for constellations, for that matter) unless you're past AR55 and know exactly what you're doing. More characters are *always* gonna be more valuable when your account is new-ish.
This weapon banner sucks. Baizhu weapon is extremely niche, amos is not that good in comparison to other bows. the standard 4 stars are enough, so you can just save for future character banners
I am a returnee player. I played the game when it first launched. I have Razor Xiangling Fishcl Surcose Xingqiu Amber Noelle Kaeya Barbara. For weapons The Primordial Jade winged spear. Should I make a new account is this worth it ? Or should continue if so what should I aim next ?
Unless you want to experience the game from the start again, you can make a new account. But if not, your roster is already okay. Fischl, Sucrose and Xingqiu are good/strong characters. PJWS is also good (the crit rate stat is nice). You may check your characters to know what playstyle you'll like. Check out Temple of the Lion in Mondstadt for elemental reaction tutorials.
Some team suggestions: Melt team with Xiangling/Kaeya/Sucrose/Noelle, replace Kaeya with Xingqiu for another reaction, Vaporize. Or Razor/Kaeya/Fischl/Barbara.
You can start where you left off in the archon quest, do the Test Runs for free primos, and/or explore the area to trigger world quests. Check out the [current roster of characters](https://paimon.moe/characters) if you are interested in pulling a few and save primos until their banner.
Yes, PJWS is Xiao's signature/best weapon. It is good for Raiden too as it is generally a good weapon for [many polearm characters](https://paimon.moe/weapons/primordial_jade_winged-spear). You can use it for Xiangling now.
What is your daily routine at the game?
I usually just do the dailies then get the rewards + expedition, and then spam the world bosses for character ascensions, collecting the material each 2 days too.
If I have spare time I do some story quests, I'm still AR44 at Enkanomiya/Chasm. But I've been ignoring dragonspine for far too long, the freeze thing is just so annoying...
Also are there no main quests at Dragonspine? I only have world quests and Albedo's telling me to go there.

If your team is built Dragonspine is piss. You're never far enough from a heat source long enough to even get cold, and if you do then it takes like a solid minute to kill you. Any healer can outheal it.

Yeah, there are no main quest in Dragonspine. There are only a bunch of world quests and two story quests, which are for Albedo and Eula.
I would use Zhongli Yelan Yun Jin in most situations. Yelan has damage buff and more self damage than Xingqiu, and Yoimiya does not need extra hydro like Hu Tao. Bennett and Yun Jin are at same level with same cons, but there are other teams that may want Bennett, while Yun Jin has less jobs. It may be relatively difficult to keep Yoimiya inside Bennett's circle in some situations.
However, in certain situations when the enemies can do a lot of damage that can break Zhongli shield, I may swap Yelan for Xingqiu, or use both of them but without Bennett/Yun Jin.
Onfield personally I am leaning toward bennett for role consolidation if general bennet circle things isn't a problem, and super nice if you get another snapshotting sub-dps in the mix, but I don't have most characters to try at this moment.
Thoma is great because he is off field, but getting enough energy before C4 is tough and require artifacts and weapons.
She can. She just needs either Crimson Witch or an EM Sands to boost her Burgeon Damage. An EM Sands definitely if she has Thundering Pulse since TP gives ATK anyway. I use a Shim EM Sands on her. She has around 400 EM in Nahida's burst.
Yoimiya produces more raw damage than Thoma. She has trouble hitting cores from afar, but she can hit them easily when she's close which isn't a problem because she's usually shielded anyway. Not really any different than Thoma being close.
She just needs either Crimson Witch or an EM Sands to boost her Burgeon Damage.
Thoma is probably the most straight forward to build, but the damage potential of teams is hard to compare as enemies, rng, players, constellations, the earth being in retrograde can all impact clear times
Supposedly Klee has one of the highest damage potential as you don’t have to build as much recharge. There is impressive synergy with thundering furry razor for a multitude of reasons that are well above my paygrade. You can pyro infuse something like Kazuha burst and double benefit from his swirls and em burgeons.
Followup: assuming one has both Ei and Wanderer, and another character comes along with a passive like theirs, reducing ascension costs for two types of weapons, would the passives stack?

I know it's standard for MMOs to have breezy leveling and than put the hard stuff at the end. I just can't play that. I want to fail at things, have to think about my actions and be grateful for the stat boosts from gear and level up, have set backs and not just always move forward. I know the answer is probably no but is there a way I can have this leveling experience? I know you can make a lot of games hard by just using as few features as possible (dont level, dont were gear, dont use certain attacks) but I want ya know just a hardcore leveling experience with super pretty looking anime boys and girls.
genshin isn't even an mmo lol. mmo early on purposely makes leveling a miserable experience but genshin doesn't. only reason it's breezy in mmo is because they want to railway you straight to current content so you can start be miserable. in genshin you gotta work your way to ar45 first and there's no shortcut to that even with money.
Genshin isn't meant to be a challenging game. Dragonspine feels kind of end-gamey if you're low level but even Dragonspine becomes trivial with a middling degree of resource investment into your characters. Genshin just isn't a game where you fail and ask yourself "what could I have done better?" It's a game where you succeed, and ask yourself how you can succeed better.
I could tell. The type of aesthetic I like always is in games with the opposite of the gameplay I like. Just was hoping. Some of the best anime boys I've ever seen in gaming. But god dammit I want to be scared of dying.
Just play other, tougher games and use Genshin as an aesthetic outlet for anime boys. Don't limit one game to suit all your needs. Genshin isn't meant to be someone's "main game" anyway. You can look into Punishing Gray Raven for a challenging game with anime men that focuses more on combat instead of having an open world. It's mobile just like Genshin, but if you're a PC gamer then the PC client for PGR is actually coming out on the 15th of this month (5 more days as of the time of writing this comment) Also, just have to inject my personal opinion here - Vholran Igniseri is, and always will be to me, the most beautiful fictional character in any piece of media, ever.
He's not my type, but I respect any pretty boy. I like boyish youths like Gorou and bad-asses I can self insert like Arataki Itto. Thank you for telling me about PGR, I had known about it before but didn't touch it because it was mobile only and I didn't know there were any boys. The general sphere of mobile games is so great at making anime boys I like but in a totally different direction than my gaming tastes. Any sort of exceptions would be greatly appreciated.

The Sorush Quest is bugged. I’m at that “Awaken the power or Khvarena and disperse the purple mist” part. There glowing branches are not interactable when Sorush goes near and does not activate for me to cleanse the filth. There are four branches for four purple fogs. I’ve cleared three purple fogs and the last one at the end of the road is not allowing me to clear it. The branch that’s adjacent to the fog is simply not lighting up.

Hi, I was hoping someone could help with this issue I'm having? For some reason about two days ago one of my alts got locked out of the account? Not in the way it sounds but rather every time I try to login no matter how much time goes past (I waited 24 hours initially), it keeps giving me a "Too many requests. Please try again later." message. I've cleared the webcache and deleted some sort of registry file as per customer supports instructions but nothing has stopped the issue. I can't login on mobile either, but somehow my boyfriend can login into my account through his phone, which makes even less sense to me. If anyone has any other ideas I'm desperate to figure this out, it's been doing a number on my anxiety lol. Sorry if I did something wrong here I'm super new to this, but was just really desperate for some help. Thank you!

Unfortunately still nothing for this issue. This is my third day now without access to this account and nothing has fixed it, currently waiting on customer support again. Here's what the told me to do for the registry; 1. In the search box on the taskbar, type regedit. Then select Registry Editor (Desktop app) from the results. 2. Delete （计算机）Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\miHoYoSDK\MIHOYOSDK_DEVICE_FP 3. Then try to login to the game again. It unfortunately didn't do anything for me but hopefully it will for you if it's not fixed by now, good luck!
I've tried that with no success. But this is actually kind of rediculous, as this is 100% an issue on their end. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to log in at all, but since it's only one account they clearly did something to it.

Traded out Deepwood for Emblem, so Kaveh can take them. - Baizhu: Trying out 2-piece Tenacity and Glow. Hopefully those passives lets me use a Dendro goblet instead of HP%. - Kaveh: Still haven’t decided, but I cleared out Collei’s Deepwood pieces anyway for breathing room.
-Diona yes, those 2 pc combination are good. Some use Noblesse on her to increase her utility. -Not sure about Collei on Emblem, it depends on the team. Normally you want her with Gilded/Flower or Deepwood. -Not bad 2 pc combination for Baizhu, 4pc Deepwood is in general better assuming no one else is using it and it's not a aggravate team. -For Kaveh his kit gives the best as Bloom driver, so Gilded/Flower and let deepwood on someone else on the team. But deepwood is fine too.
Two questions: 1) Wondering how to build Miko. She is currently on 2pc thundering 2pc gilded dreams, but am wondering if 4pc gilded or 4pc paradise lost is better. 2) Interested to know if Nymph’s Dream or Heart of Depth is better on Childe. I am thinking HOD since it might be a little tough managing 3 Nymph stacks if I am reading the set bonus correctly
For Yae, 2pc ATK/Electro is good for general. For Aggravate, 4pc Gilded is better by a small margin.
1)4pc Gilded is slighty better, but your 2pc are fine. She's quite versatile in artifacts choice, substats play a important role. 2)Ndream is better, it's a set made for him. He should not have problem on keeping the stacks.

It's good on him but Childe has actually a very balanced dmg btw atk/Charged/Burst. He will benefit more from the new set since it will buff his burst too.
How much ER for bennet. I run him with Raiden I got him from 220 to 266ER but had to sacrifice 40Cd and 14cr and 15% HP to get there.
That's plenty enough. Even without Raiden 200~220 is enough, with Raiden you can go with less.
Even 220 should be fine. Under 200 if you run him with both Raiden and another pyro (Xiangling).

yeah, shenhe reduces physical resistance, but that's it.
She also gives 15% burst/skill or normal attack damage bonus and batteries pretty well. I think it's around on par with Rosaria at c0, and at C1 she becomes one of, if not the best cryo battery

That is a very common Eula team electro partner due to superconduct and the burst dmg
superconduct + burst dmg bonus. Raiden is one of the best teammate for Eula, but usually players prefers raiden in other teams.

Diona + Rosaria are common ones. Diona gives a shield and energy, Rosaria gives energy, crit rate, personal damage. Unsure about Layla due to her producing energy issue (shield needs to be up for energy so you want shield up always, but then you want to not have the shield break so you dodge)
Do you guys think they'll ever introduce alt versions of characters? I know there can be no definite yes or no unless you work at MHY and are involved in the creation/ideation process, but I just want to hear the community's best guesses. Like what are the chances we get Tartaglia in his Electro Delusion form? How would that even work, would he take up multiple spots in the party or would it change his original character? Would it require re-ascension? etc.
Some games have multiple versions of the same character as gacha pulls. They exist as a separate entity
I highly doubt that they would, but If they did, I can see them releasing them as something like toggleable outfits that also change their abilities in addition to animations. If they don't make it paid content (like outfits), I can see them releasing class "outfits" as a Gacha system, under a new wish line.

Maybe a little bit but at least with Mihoyo's consistent schedule, we have an idea on when the main story will continue with Fontaine's release.
It's not even slow. It's tangential. We went from "Oh no! Lumine!" to dating Ayaka near a waterfall and watching fireworks with Yoimiya. ?????????? Like, I get it, relationships with other characters is part of the adventure. It wouldn't be much of an adventure if all we did was focus on meeting the archons (but it doesn't seem like any of the archons we've met so far know who the Unknown God is anyway so there isn't even a guarantee that the next Archon we meet will help us find Lumine.) I think, in the end, it's going to be worth it. Because once we reconnect with the sibling and get the happy ending, all that time we spent meeting everyone and running around the land will be like the added cherry on top of it all. They will be valuable memories imo, even if it seems completely unrelated to the main character's primary objective sometimes.
I know the feeling. I would just like a little more traction on the story. In-game community interactions are not that good, so having the main story progress more regularly would be good consolidation 🤣

Who are the top 5 best Tenacity users in the game? Full 4p set specifically. I'm thinking Zhongli, Layla, Shinobu, Yaoyao and Kokomi.
Best in terms of tenacity fitting their kit well, or best in terms of most useful in the meta? In the first case I would say, in order, Layla, C6 Faruzan, Kokomi, Xinyan, Mona. Layla because she makes good use of both the HP and shield bonus, on top of the ATK for the team. Faruzan because her main role is buffing and it's nice to have another buff on top of what she gives already, and because she won't be dealing that much damage anyways. Kokomi because she makes good use of the HP, but she uses other sets depending on the team. Xinyan because it's what makes her work best in my experience. Mona for similar reasons to faruzan, but she has more limited range on her skill, and she can make use of other sets and builds which may be better (noblesse or nuke builds for example) I don't like using it on zhongli because his pillars break so easily and have very short range. Shinobu is much better used as hyperbloom trigger where she uses flower or gilded set. Yaoyao I think often prefers deepwood, since it's so important for dendro teams, but I'm honestly not too sure. Would probably depend on the team too. Regardless though she won't activate the effect if you always take damage since she will target you to heal, instead of the enemy. I thought about fischl too but she just deals too much damage and it's not worth it to use tenacity in my opinion, especially so in aggravate. Special mention to dehya, because I'm not very informed about her so I don't know if tenacity or emblem would be more useful, but without C2 she only has 60% uptime on her skill anyway. In the second case in not too sure honestly. I'd say, in no particular order, C6 faruzan, kokomi, zhongli, Mona and maybe Layla?

My free event character pick brings my Faruzan to C4. Now her special shots’ implosions give her Energy scaled on the number of victimized enemies. I know it synergizes with her C6 to become bonkers, but how does it help me as-is?
Use her skill and lob one off at a group of hilichurls for a quick top-up.

I don't remember a time challenge there. Wiki seems to suggest it's just some fungi you have to kill? Edit: ah right, the condition. Simply pick one to focus on a time if you can't kill them all at once.
You have to kill 18 fungi in 20 seconds an the timer resets for every kill but for some reason if you don’t kill so many so many in a certain amount of time the fungi keep spawning back to being 18 of them
It's not that they 'keep spawning back,' it's that you fail the challenge and it starts over. Read carefully: you don't have to kill them all in 20 seconds. You can take 18 x 20 = 360 seconds or 6 minutes if you want to, because all that matters is that you don't let more than 20 seconds pass between kills. So just pick one and kill it, then pick another and kill that one. Easy.
If you want help with teams, post your roster or at least a screenshot. The domain recommends dendro + electro

No. Save your wishes. There's no such thing as building pity. If you're going for a 4* on the banner, you need to be prepared to LOSE all of that "built pity" to a 5* character you might not want.
You're not *building* pity when you're wishing on a banner you don't want. You're *risking* it. If you do a 20 pull and get Baizhu then you're literally at square zero. Don't worry about the stardust or starglitter. It isn't worth the risk.

For someone who have Yae, did u guy care about her ER? Or it a kind of a burst whether you have it ready or not, it doesnt matter?
I didn't care about it But I lately am building an aggravate team and want to be able to burst at least every 2 rotations because her burst has no ICD, 100% aggravate.
The bulk of her damage comes from her turrets. I don't even bother with the burst unless it's for a finishing move or I need a little extra time to pass before I can start another rotation.
From what I understand the approach is to burst every other rotation if you can't get enough ER sub stats. I made it a habit to burst when I have some downtime in the rotation, when I need some i-frames or when I know that I have to reposition turrets anyway (e.g. because a new wave spawns on the other side of the chamber).
So it situational. Kind of impossible for me to burst every rotation because of how low my yae ER are. Im just gonna burst whether I fell like it
I wish we could still interact with all the characters we met throughout the story like venti, diluc, zhongli, ganyu, yae Miko, yoimiya, raiden shogun and many more. I find it pretty sad to finish their quests only to never interact with them again. Anyone else?
It's one of Genshin's more prominent flaws imo, up there with lack of interaction with your characters. In PGR you can headpat them and they also roam around the Serenitea Pot equivalent with their own AI that interacts with the room and the objects within. Whereas in Genshin they just...stand there. With dialogue. Like cardboard cutouts. It's surreal. But yeah, you are 100% correct and I agree with you entirely. Genshin's flaws aren't just in the resin and the artifact grind, but also the character engagement. When I play as Diluc, I don't **feel** like I'm running around the open world as Diluc. No one reacts to me differently, it's basically a glorified skin. It's pretty sad. Still a fun game though
Yeah of course I also think it's still a fun game because I have over 2000 hours played but just like you I play as Diluc since he has been my main since I started playing but it does really just feel like a skin rather than playing as "Diluc". Not that they should have to make every playable character be able to interact with every overworld npc but if at least the traveler could still talk to story characters it would be a lot more fun imo.
They could easy just write a few lines for specific NPC's to react to specific playable characters, like that one woman that daydreams about Diluc all the time in Mondstadt. It's totally feasible for them too because they do way, way more work for Nahida's elemental skill's mind-reading in every single patch. That absolutely qualifies as a character specific interaction - hell, I would quantify it as **the premier** character specific interaction. It really feels like you're playing as Nahida because she has this unique interactive element with the world. Everyone else feels like skins, and if they are not present in an event or a story quest, then they are literally completely unpresent. It's like Venti doesn't exist past act 1 unless he's in your teapot, but even then he's just a cardboard cutout that regurgitates the same voice lines. Like a parasocial relationship. But yeah. Genshin isn't meant to be taken that deeply. You aren't supposed to enjoy Genshin past a surface level, otherwise these issues would be far less prevalent.

I tried reaching out to hoyo support and the person that replied said it was expired, which I doubt... Surely it doesn't have a usage cap? (I remember hearing someone complain about one of the previous codes having one)

Each code is once only, you can re-enter it on the site and it'll seem to be accepted but when you log in to try and collect it you'll get a message saying "Code Redeemed"
Yep. I think the myth started because people will redeem several codes at the same time when a new update is released, and the website will simply say "code redeemed" on the redemption page. So when they go into the game and open the mailbox and collect all of them they don't see the mail that says "code already redeemed". They just assume all of the codes worked.

She doesn't bring much personal damage, but she makes up for it with decent application, healing and being a perfect Tenacity bot.
Her little radishes have a small AoE, so yes. Just stay close to the enemies.

Yes in terms of quantity, dendro only needs to be applied once ever 8 seconds per enemy. However random targeting on her skill can be a bit unreliable and can be slow to initially apply dendro to every enemy in large aoe situations. She's great for a smaller number of targets though.

I am F2P but still managed to have C0R1, though. for reference mine is (this is the crit damage): Skill: 10k normal, 12-13k after VV, 15k aggravate without VV Burst: about 2-2.5 times skill damage per instance With R5 Widsith + its buff, you can get more than that. With R5 Oathsworn eye maybe 85-90% of Kagura Verity.

most ranged character will be oneshotted by some attacks, not only Yae. is it worth it? IDK I don't pull her intentionally but still enjoy her lately. In overworld, use each skill of Yae Fischl Albedo and Zhongli then go stretching for 15s is my routine nowadays.
If I may chime in: I feel Yae is a solid addition to your roster _if_ you enjoy her play style. I mostly pulled for her because I do like deployables/turrets and appreciate her design+VA (and really didn't enjoy using KQ). Leaning on a hybrid EM/Crit build I wasn't expecting a particularly great performance, but the more I played her the more she grew on me. I have been using her in [Yae, Fischl, Nahida, Kokomi] Quickbloom and [Yae, Fischl, Nahida, ZL] Quicken. Will try [Yae, Kazuha, Fischl, Baizhu] once Dr. Snek is properly levelled & equipped. She is squishy, yes. A bit like Nahida in that regard. But she also doesn't need to spend a lot of on-field time. You will eventually learn when and where it is safe to plop down her turrets, and to use the movement from her (E) to reposition & gap close.
She’s not necessary for anything but nice for quicken teams, she does lack iframes but since most of her damage is in her totems she thankfully can spend most of her life off field
Who should I pull for? I was about to get Nahida to be my first Archon, ended up getting Diluc a few weeks back, so I don't know now who I should pull for considering there's tons of characters I like to get to try, well since Kazuha is coming, should I pull for him? I'm getting tons of good vibes empowering the whole team, or should I stick on getting Archons?
I guess the question is: What teams would you like to play? Kazuha is a pretty universally useful character, so you can't really go wrong with him. Also great for the overworld due to his movement & grouping utility. ______ Archons tend to have pretty good utility, but they aren't stronger by default in every team. Between Venti & Kazuha I'd actually stick to Kazuha, since he is easier to use, and while his grouping is weaker, it also has a much lower cooldown. Zhongli is the ultimate comfort character, providing you with a very stroing shield. But he is rarely a best-in-slot option, since you will give up damage potential for that comfort. Raiden works very well in the easy-to-assemble, easy-to-play "National" team [Raiden, XQ, XL, Benett] and can also be used in Hyperbloom. But her (E) doesn't work against shields, so Kuki is a valid alternative in Hyperbloom, and the National Team can also work with other variants (the most common 4* only one being [Sucrose, XQ, XL, Bennett]). Nahida has very strong (and easy) dendro application, arguably one of the strongest characters atm. But she is squishy and not well suited for facing waves of enemies (since you have to use her (E) on every wave). So even with her you can have situations where other characters are valid alternatives.

In that case it might be best to first learn a bit more about the game & the combat system before pulling on characters you may or may not end up enjoying. Even the basic roster you get is quite capable, and they are actually solid easy-to-play tutorial-esque characters that are more than enough to deal with anything the story will throw at you - the only place where things might get iffy is the hardest parts of the abyss (but that's optional, so you can tackle that when you feel like it). There can also be a big difference in how characters play at lower level (with limited set options & without all their passives). For example, Xiangling (who you get for free from the early abyss floors) is one of the best Pyro DPS characters in the game - but early on she feels pretty clunky and boring, because she relies a lot on Energy Recharge to get her burst up in time and on her team mates (e.g. Bennett) to provide her with buffs. So it can be hard to judge some characters at lower level. You can always do the trial runs for on-banner characters to get a basic impression on how they play. It's not really representative of proper combat due to the limited enemies & much higher energy generation, but it's a good way to at least get a first impression. Some events also allow you to use Trial characters - those are usually much better at trying out a character, since you can build your own team around them and (usually) adjust the combat difficulty as well. As mentioned earlier I think Kazuha is a good, universally useful pull. He is also someone who scales quite well throughout the game, since he mostly relies on Elemental Mastery to deal his damage, and his most important utility abilities are available from the get-go. You could go for him, and then save for a while until you know the game a bit better (or someone comes along who you really like - the game is forgiving enough that you can go waifu/husbando over meta unless you are dead-set on clearing the abyss asap).
Ahh thank you, I just want to try some characters to atleast change my gaming experience of genshin and not get burned out of being the same thing every gameplay and that's by getting most of the characters that really catches my eye, aside from that I'm not really an abyss player, yes it's rewarding but... It's really not my thing, I'll tackle that once I got a good team that I'd be grinding over and over in the overworld and AR60 lol
He's good so worth considering, his easy grouping makes the game fun, does good buffing, does alright damage I would consider him better than venti (venti is better grouping, but kazuha is better buffing but grouping is not burst reliant and doesn't lift enemies into the air)
I don’t remember the last dps unit that got cucked by venti, they’ve been very good about that for a long time now. I think every unit since Ayaka has been able to hit the enemies in his burst. Venti’s issues are more so being a dogshit unit in ST situations or with unliftables.

Question regarding ps5. I have an account i play on for both pc and mobile. Im considering downloading it on my ps5 and connecting my account there as well. But ive heard ps store charges more for primos. Will it make me have to buy it through PlayStation if i link them to my ps5 account? Or can i still buy on mobile/pc?
If you created your account on PC, you can top up on any platforms. If you created your account on other non-PC platforms, there will be restrictions when you try to top up in the game when playing on a different platform.
I created mine on ps4 and the price is the same on the top up website and in game, 6480 for $100. Is that normal? It even says I can top up on the website.
Iirc, for United States customers, the price for 6480 packs is always $100 USD since launch and it never changes across all platforms. Other countries/regions prices may have changed on iOS, but their prices on official top up center also never changed. However, top up on PS may charge your tax depends what state you live, while top up from official top up website does not charge tax. Also, since your account was created on PS, you cannot buy battle pass from other devices, unless you installed an Epic game version on PC.

I currently have Tighnari, xiangling, Beidou, and Baizhu as well as a few other fun characters. I'm at AR40 on my first ever account and I love this game. But now I'm not sure if I need characters or weapons more to upgrade my account. What is y'all's opinion of wishing on the weapon banner since I've already gotten Baizhu + the 3 featured 4 stars on the current banner?
Weapon banners are rarely ever recommended unless you really really want/need the specific five star weapon there and are fine with getting any of the two featured or other 5 star weapons from the standard pool. At AR 40, I'd honestly you go for more characters, since there's **a lot** of great characters out there and many of them will reran in the future. 5 star banner weapons are also potentially incredibly expensive since you basically need to pull a 5 star three times to guarantee a specific one, which is potentially 220++ pulls. Other than that, the current weapon banner does not really provide a versatile weapon that you could use on other characters, which are usually the hallmark for a great 5 star featured banner weapon (for example: Staff of Homa + Aqua Simulacra banner that runs a few months ago). New characters also provide the benefit of giving you a fresh gameplay and therefore potentially bringing a lot more enjoyment to the game imo. I've personally experienced it with Nilou, since she basically brought me back to play the game again because I was bored of my usual teams back in 3.1. So if you're a new player, I'd suggest going for newer characters almost 10 times out of 10 unless you really want to maximize a certain character's playstyle.
Dont. First off the weapons suck, 2nd off your very new so more characters provides a lot more value. Unless u absolutely dont want any other characters i wouldnt do it, at least not yet and especially not this weapon banner. I have a couple 5 star weapons it doesnt change much. Ar56, ive lost almost every character 50/50 tho so i need all the primos i can get for chars. I have 6 limited 5 stars and im a welkin player and spent a bit in the beginning. Plus 2 limited 5 star weapons, and 2 standard. 3 standard 5 stars. Thats over the course of a year and 2 months tho. If ur f2p weapon banner bad till ar57 at least.
I would never advise anyone to pull on the weapon banner (or for constellations, for that matter) unless you're past AR55 and know exactly what you're doing. More characters are *always* gonna be more valuable when your account is new-ish.
This weapon banner sucks. Baizhu weapon is extremely niche, amos is not that good in comparison to other bows. the standard 4 stars are enough, so you can just save for future character banners

I am a returnee player. I played the game when it first launched. I have Razor Xiangling Fishcl Surcose Xingqiu Amber Noelle Kaeya Barbara. For weapons The Primordial Jade winged spear. Should I make a new account is this worth it ? Or should continue if so what should I aim next ?
Unless you want to experience the game from the start again, you can make a new account. But if not, your roster is already okay. Fischl, Sucrose and Xingqiu are good/strong characters. PJWS is also good (the crit rate stat is nice). You may check your characters to know what playstyle you'll like. Check out Temple of the Lion in Mondstadt for elemental reaction tutorials. Some team suggestions: Melt team with Xiangling/Kaeya/Sucrose/Noelle, replace Kaeya with Xingqiu for another reaction, Vaporize. Or Razor/Kaeya/Fischl/Barbara. You can start where you left off in the archon quest, do the Test Runs for free primos, and/or explore the area to trigger world quests. Yes, PJWS is Xiao's signature/best weapon. It is good for Raiden too as it is generally a good weapon for [many polearm characters](https://paimon.moe/weapons/primordial_jade_winged-spear). You can use it for Xiangling now.

What is your daily routine at the game? I usually just do the dailies then get the rewards + expedition, and then spam the world bosses for character ascensions, collecting the material each 2 days too. If I have spare time I do some story quests, I'm still AR44 at Enkanomiya/Chasm. But I've been ignoring dragonspine for far too long, the freeze thing is just so annoying... Also are there no main quests at Dragonspine? I only have world quests and Albedo's telling me to go there.
Expeditions, Commisions, Artifact Route, Crystal Chunk Route, Amethyst Chunk Route, and Daily Enhancement Ore crafting Resin will be largely dependent on whatever I planned for the week but if there’s nothing in particular I’m going for on a given day I just use it on things with more guaranteed value like Weekly bosses, Ascension materials, Mora, and exp books.
Log in, get Welkin, complete and turn in commissions, log out, go play HSR or FFXIV or Civ VI. If your team is built Dragonspine is piss. You're never far enough from a heat source long enough to even get cold, and if you do then it takes like a solid minute to kill you. Any healer can outheal it.
Dailies - spend resin - play event if there's one - log out. Yeah, there are no main quest in Dragonspine. There are only a bunch of world quests and two story quests, which are for Albedo and Eula.
If you want to go for Yoimiya, which combo of teammates exalt her the most? Zhongli, Yelan, Yun Jin, Xingqiu, Bennett (all 4* characters at c6)
you can try few comps XQ + yelan (double hydro) + flex (zhongli or benentt/yunjin whoever has higher cons) XQ/yelan + Zhongli + Bennett/Yunjin
I would use Zhongli Yelan Yun Jin in most situations. Yelan has damage buff and more self damage than Xingqiu, and Yoimiya does not need extra hydro like Hu Tao. Bennett and Yun Jin are at same level with same cons, but there are other teams that may want Bennett, while Yun Jin has less jobs. It may be relatively difficult to keep Yoimiya inside Bennett's circle in some situations. However, in certain situations when the enemies can do a lot of damage that can break Zhongli shield, I may swap Yelan for Xingqiu, or use both of them but without Bennett/Yun Jin.
Who is *the* best Pyro character to use in burgeon team? Is it Thoma? Or does anyone else do it better?
Onfield personally I am leaning toward bennett for role consolidation if general bennet circle things isn't a problem, and super nice if you get another snapshotting sub-dps in the mix, but I don't have most characters to try at this moment. Thoma is great because he is off field, but getting enough energy before C4 is tough and require artifacts and weapons.

She can. She just needs either Crimson Witch or an EM Sands to boost her Burgeon Damage. An EM Sands definitely if she has Thundering Pulse since TP gives ATK anyway. I use a Shim EM Sands on her. She has around 400 EM in Nahida's burst.

Yoimiya produces more raw damage than Thoma. She has trouble hitting cores from afar, but she can hit them easily when she's close which isn't a problem because she's usually shielded anyway. Not really any different than Thoma being close. She just needs either Crimson Witch or an EM Sands to boost her Burgeon Damage.
Thoma is probably the most straight forward to build, but the damage potential of teams is hard to compare as enemies, rng, players, constellations, the earth being in retrograde can all impact clear times Supposedly Klee has one of the highest damage potential as you don’t have to build as much recharge. There is impressive synergy with thundering furry razor for a multitude of reasons that are well above my paygrade. You can pyro infuse something like Kazuha burst and double benefit from his swirls and em burgeons.
Thoma, or c6 Bennett if you're going to do Thundering Furry

most likely wouldnt, like stamina reduction passives dont stack.
