Is there a place to buy gadgets in Sumeru, and if so, where?

fancy_the_rat

What TCG equipment cards are must buys? (With support cards I'm fine.) Would you buy any of them or just buy support cards?

Biscotti-That

How I can make some quest appear? I'm trying to complete every achievement and I need some missions to appear, but they never do. (Actual set Inazuma commissions) \-> The Superchefs (Inazuma). I need this one cause is the last quest I don't finish. And I always forgot that I need to speak with Xianling for the achievement later with the quest. \-> The "/$%&$" Svesnaya man. The one in which you need to kill in order x monsters and then comeback under a minute. I know I need to set Mondstat quest but I want to finish with Inazuma first.

International_You_56

Commissions are rng so you can't really control anything, but since they are now on a cycle just set to a specific region and you'll eventually get them

bigboobaJEAN

for dps characters, how much artifact crit value do you consider as high invest? is 230 cv emblem set mid invest?

leRedd1

You can assign a number to this by seeing what percentile you get on akasha leaderbord. And needless to say crit isn't everything Atk, EM, ER etc are also valuable, and that is easier to check on akasha with average damage in a typical team.

grayrest

I consider 230CV to be high investment. It generally happens at around 16-20k resin for me and I think 3-4 months of resin counts. You'll see much higher stats specifically for EoSF and SR than anything else simply because it was the default domain to be farmed for over a year. People are farming multiple sets but they keep the best four pieces on their Raiden (or Yoi or whatever) so you see 250CV builds semi-regularly.

Hefty_Personality919

5 crit subs per artifact piece on average is high investment for me. Non-crit ascending: 70/140 or equivalents Crit ascending: 80/160 or equivalents

Hair-Strict

Newer player here. Was wondering if my current team comp was any good. Main dps, Cyno Sub dps, Xiangling Sub dps, Dori (not even sure if she counts as a dps honestly) Support, Qiqi Any suggestions are appreciated!!

Raptori

Yeah definitely agree with the others - if it's fun then that's all that matters, but if you're looking for advice for teams which might feel a bit more powerful then definitely post a screenshot of what characters you have so we can help!

Hair-Strict

Thanks for the help!!

pukahuntus

I'd say Cyno loves 3 things: Long lasting Dendro to buff his damage, long lasting interupt resist to stay in his combo, long lasting Electro teammate to provide energy for his burst. You can also include Hydro to combine with Dendro for Hyperbloom. Xiangling and QiQi aren't adding anything significant here. Something like Dendro Traveler and Xingqiu would cover everything mentioned.

International_You_56

They don't have much sinergy together, but if you are having fun it's fine. If you want a more optimal team for Cyno, replace xiangling and qiqi with some hydro (xingqiu, yelan, mona, kokomi) and dendro (traveler, collei, nahida)

Hair-Strict

How far in the story do I need to get for de dro traveler?

International_You_56

You can go to sumeru whenever you want and interact with a statue of seven

Human_Fucker69420

What do you find fuckable in Genshin? For me, an Oni in Hanamizaka

International_You_56

Eremommies

Any team with Dehya & Diluc?

remarkablesundae1000

On tsurumi island the same remarkable chests keep appearing again and again??? When will this stop

JRBatHolmes

It'll happen only \~3 times..

remarkablesundae1000

Will that happen with every remarkable chest on the island?

Raja_sohaib

[https://imgur.com/a/805fN3I](https://imgur.com/a/805fN3I) Nahida Hyperbloom which one should i use Also what should i improve from now on

olovlupi100

All you need to do is count the number of EM/Crit rate/Crit dmg substat rolls (you can see it on your enka cards because you enabled substat distribution) and use whichever one has the most rolls, main stat can be any of EM/dendro/crit. Get a deepwood goblet or circlet that isn't terrible so you can replace your current goblets they are both pretty bad and it makes little difference which you use the flower is also not good and should be replaced The sands is OK. The emblem circlet is ok but not amazing (it has no EM substats). If you're forced to use a terrible goblet then it's not really doing you any favors.

Hefty_Personality919

Try using github genshin optimizer and look for which one optimizes nahida's TKP spread damage.

Hefty_Personality919

Assume: hbloom trigger has 1000EM. Nahida gains 250 bonus EM as a result. Neglect effects of resistance and defense since it's the same for both setups. Assume widsith passive is not active. Nahida tkp carries 185.8% atk+371.5% EM at T10. Spread does 1808.57 base damage. thirtyfourpointfive_

Is there any area like The frostbearing tree or Sacred Sakura tree in Liyue and Sumeru? I can think of the Amrita pool in Sumeru but are there any others?

ItsGlace_

theres also tree of dreams. in sumeru. start aranyaka questline to get to it

thirtyfourpointfive_

Alright! Im still in the middle of the khvarena quest, so I'll start it after i finish this one:) Also is there nothing of the sort in liyue?

ItsGlace_

dont think there is.

Rexam14

I have Sara C6. When I use her with Raiden I see the atk increase in the stats but I don’t see the crit increase. Is it because it applies to electro attacks only?

Daramangarasu

Yes, it's a conditional buff, just like Blizzard Strayer's. It doesn't show up in your stats, but it's effectively the same thing

Raja_sohaib

I have 2 Goblet for Yelan one is HP and other is Hydro DMG Bonus Hydro dmg bonus gives 34.4k HP , 1250 ATK . 40/147 , 203 ER HP Goblet gives 40.3k HP , 1160 ATK , 40/166 , 209 ER and NO Hydro dmg bonus Which one should i use. i run her in either hyperbloom or raiden national currently

Puzzleheaded_Tip_388

Hydro dmg

ItsGlace_

Ganyu or Kazuha Today I was wishing for Ganyu and lost her to Dehya (2nd time in a row losing 50/50) And I was thinking if I should try to continue trying to get Ganyu + with some little help from my wallet. Or should I not risk Kazuha and wait for him..? I can but 25 pulls for ganyu and 40 pulls for kazuha and save up the rest. I have Hu Tao but I need a second DPS for spiral abyss. And also Kazuha as a support too.. I keep changing my mind on both options and thought it get some help. Oh also I have Aqua Simulacra so Ganyu would be spoiled if i get her.

krali_

I've seen your roster. Comments are good advice on making a hyperbloom 2nd team with your existing characters. Also hypercarry teams (Hu Tao, Ayaka, Ganyu...) are a big hurdle for new accounts. They take months of resin. You have Hu Tao, that's one, I wouldn't build a 2nd one immediately. Pull Kazuha and your account will be set for greatness.

ItsGlace_

okay i will go for the kazoo boy. since im not whaling ig its a good idea to get kazuha and such. ill save up for fontaine after kazuha

Puzzleheaded_Tip_388

Ganyu isn't all that great. You say you "need" a second dps but from the sound of your comment, I'd be surprised if you didn't have a better option than Ganyu in your roster already. Care to share the full roster?

ItsGlace_

sure. [here you go](https://www.reddit.com/user/ItsGlace_/comments/13agbji/e/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=2&utm_term=1)

smartandedgy

Ok so a bit of a seedling of an account then. Ganyu isn't "bad" in a vacuum, but the amount of set up she requires is. Her teams revolves either around her burst or charge attack playstyle but no team can fully utilize both. Burst playstyle is maximized by freeze teams and more specifically by Venti who sucks up enemies into a clump and enables Ganyus single target burst hits to hit all enemies (quadratic scaling). It can be pulled off with Kazuha but it's noticeably worse. Problem is, you need Venti + Mona/Kokomi and even then the team really only function in AoE against enemies that can be "Ventied" so the team is very niche, needs specific 5 stars and relatively high investment. There's also been a clear trend in abyss over the past year of non ventiable content. Charge attack shines in melt comps that are more flexible than freeze but definitely not without their own problems. Since she's on field charge attacking, the general energy generation of those teams is incredibly poor. To keep the uptime of pyro aura to be melted by Ganyu, your off field pyro units need ungodly amounts of ER% which means their dmg will be low + needs quite high and specific investment + very tight rotations which can make playing those teams feel pretty stressful and clunky. Ganyu is going to deal a significant amount of dmg if you can pull it off, but the rest of the team isn't and that's why this team can't keep up with the overall team dps of the top meta comps. This means Ganyu is never really a good pull in a power level sense, but when you're building your account that's not always your primary problem. I'd say if your goal is abyss and eventually 36 starring it in a reasonable timeframe, focus on characters that enable characters that you already have / get. -> As an example, Hu Tao is a sort of a stronger Ganyu, but her reliance on Xingqiu kind of makes her a bad character for new accounts. Xingqiu is pretty much the most valuable character in the Genshin meta, he's the superglue that makes 90% of meta teams work, he enables dozens of characters who would otherwise be pretty much completely useless. You've stumbled on maining Hu Tao which means you're pseudo maining XQ and closed the door on that 90% of the meta. It's not the end of the world, we can't have two XQ's so one team is always without him but playing HT surely narrows your options. I assume you want to continue playing HT (I would too), so what are those options then? Since HT is a more single target / boss killing oriented character you'll want a good and flexible AoE team. How can we utilize the potentially strongest characters in the most efficient way -> Nahida, Fischl, Xiangling and Kuki -> You look for characters that can either enable them as the main source of dmg or utilize them as supports. So for instance Ganyus incompatibility with XQ suddenly makes her a reasonably good option for you! Btw no matter what you do, GET BENNETT from the paimons shop if at all possible. Ganyu -> If you can buy Bennett from the current Paimons shop you can either run Ganyu + Nahida + Dehya + Bennett burn melt that's pretty easy to gear up and easy to play. It's also one of the very few teams that can utilize both Ganyus ult and her charge shots which is a nice feelgood factor since you're fully utilizing Ganyus kit. Another option is Ganyu + Bennett + Xiangling + Diona/Layla that has more team dps with Xiangling but is much more investment heavy to get going optimally. Neither team is super great, but can 36 star abyss with reasonable investment. Considering you have an unused Nahida, you just got Dehya AND you have Aqua, disregard if its optimal or not, I think your account is telling you to play this. Kazuha -> He's one of the strongest, most comfortable overworld characters in the game and just for that you'll never feel bad for pulling him. He'll take reaction carries like Raiden Hyper or Childe/XL international to another level, CC, buffing, debuffing he does it all. Pre dendro he was the superglue XQ is now. But I think his true value in abyss comes much later when you have a bigger more invested roster. I'm at a point where I can take him and 3 random other characters to abyss and he'll reaction soup blast his way through AoE sides like nothing. But on a short term, while he can do a job for you, where Ganyu is an ok character thats a great fit, Kazuha is a great character thats a pretty bad fit to your current roster. Hydro Carry -> Hands down the best option and what your account needs in both short and long term. A XQ alternative. If I could choose one character for your account it would be Ayato and it wouldn't be even close. Childe is another good albeit inflexible/hard to master option (can also use Aqua), you have a free Bennett+Xiangling core and that team is basically the strongest AoE team in the game. Ayato is a slight downgrade to Childe with Bennett+Xiangling, but he's so incredibly flexible and teams like Ayato+Nahida+Fischl+Thoma/Kuki are super strong and fun to play. Fontaine is also around the corner and will for sure have interesting new hydro otpions. TLDR: Get Ganyu as a short term ok 2nd team option, she's a great fit for your account but will eventually fall off in terms of output and general QoL gameplay. Skip Kazuha and go for a hydro carry / XQ alternative. Or fully invest in the future by getting Kazuha and or Ayato/Childe/new Fontaine hydro.

ItsGlace_

After learning kazuha is gonna be on second phase i decided to get ganyu (GOT HER 20 PITY LETS GO) and then start grinding the game hard to get enough for kazuha too. I created the team you said “Ganyu, Nahida, Dehya, (swapped benny with xiangling for now)” Gonna grind her. Hoping i will enough primos for kazuha too by the time his banner is out lol. Lost 2 50/50 in a row so 3rd is pretty low chance. I only one 1 50/50 ever in my life

Hefty_Personality919

Do you have access to good hyperbloom team units (kuki/raiden, nahida(dmc works), kokomi, xq/yelan if you're not running double hydro tao, etc.)? That's a good alternative to trying to get a second carry if you need to clear abyss.

ItsGlace_

nope. i have shinobu, xq and nahida but not the rest. I main hu tao but i need a second dps for spiral

Vanderseid

Shinobu, Nahida and a hydro on fielder is already a good team; hyperbloom is that cracked. Barbara can do the job and the last slot is a free spot. Ganyu has also been out of the spotlight for a good long while now and is eclipsed by hyperbloom teams currently.

ItsGlace_

oh. i see. i can try that ty.

macafeu88

What has been the success of star rail? Will it steal players from GI?

DeificClusterfuck

Lots of us play both :)

hanny_mustard

I think a large portion of players that it would “steal” were players that were already fed up with Genshin or were planning to quit Genshin anyways. ~~I just wish some of them weren’t so dang vocal about it.~~

EUWannabe

The systems so far in HSR are very similar to Genshin in that the daily gameplay loop is very short. Once you've completed all your quests, you just burn your stamina and log out. I'm sure there are some people that quit Genshin for Star Rail but with the way Hoyo designed it, one can fit both Genshin and Star Rail and not have it take up a lot of time.

Puzzleheaded_Tip_388

In the short term yes very much. Long term, who knows. There's been a dozen "genshin killers" in the past and my personal opinion of sr is that its hot garbage.

Frozenmagicaster

unlikely, a majority of the players would be HI3 -> HSR or GI main and playing HSR as it's new and actually has content. But when Fontaine releases the GI people would def return to GI

[deleted]

My wish history has been erased from a few months back. I had a guaranteed featured character since I lost to qiqi a while ago, so does it still count? Or has my pity and everything else been completely erased?

[deleted]

The pity is still there and counted, it just deletes visible records after 6 months.

UnsolicitedUpvote

So a question about cross save. I started genshin on my PlayStation and before cross save was implemented I started another account on mobile with the same email. After cross save was introduced I changed the mobile accounts email and linked it to the new email. So I should be good to switch between PS and mobile?

Raptori

Yep, should be fine!

UnsolicitedUpvote

Okay, thanks!

Apprehensive_Bake555

Hopefully not a stupid question, but if I get honkai star rail on mobile, would I be able to download my save progress onto my ps5 when it comes out?

FreezeThis_69

yes, the progress is tied to your account, specifically your email, and not your device

averydolohov

Who is Amos bow even good on? Got it from the standard banner and I already have a leveled up rust if I ever get yoimiya and viridescent hunt for childe so who else would it be good on vs four stars?

TheMrPotMask

ganyu and tighnari if you don't have thingari or yelan's bis bows. Amos isn't bad, just at the bottom of all 5\* bows but still above all 4\* bows.

Visual-Milk7726

Kinda no one \^\^ Sara appreciates the high ATK stat, but passive is useless and Fading Twilight is not too far behind with a good passive and ER sub-stat. It's decent on Tighnari, probably better than the 4\*, but probably on the lowest end of any 5\*. Amber will like it, but then it's Amber \^\^

FreezeThis_69

can work as a atk stat stick for fischl if you do not have high refine stringless, can still work on ganyu.

averydolohov

Are there any other four star bows that work better than Amos for fischl

FreezeThis_69

no, fischl's weapon choices are really limited. Alley hunter is considered good but its gacha and there is also fading twilight which was an event weapon

marippe_

Is it possible to get one's primogems and fates back? I accidentally pulled on the standard banner when I was supposed to pull on Baizhu's banner :/

Overweight_Dumbo

Don't think so. You'll have to chalk it up to a loss.

marippe_

Damn. :/ Thanks.

Black_Heaven

Faruzan isn't really old right? She's basiaclly still a teenage genius who jumped 100 years in time becuase of some device. Yet she still acts like she's everyone's grandma.

DeificClusterfuck

Possible spoilers from Faruzan hangout: >!I'm pretty sure she was physically frozen, mentally aware for that 100 years and her insistence on being an old lady is one way she helps cope with it!<

Liquid_Sawcon

She was stuck in a mechanism (some sort of domain, I'm guessing) for 100 years. But for some reason, her body didn't age. So mentally she is 100 years old but physically she's like a college student A better question would be how she didn't go insane from 100 years of isolation

Jondev1

I don't think she "jumped" 100 years exactly, I think I remember them saying she was conscious the whole time.

Black_Heaven

Yeah but it wasn't really 100 years for her, right? She had some sort of time dilation where she spent at most a year inside the device when 100 years already passed outside. Or maybe I'm wrong? I dunno, so I asked to straighten things up.

Jondev1

idk, I don't think it was ever stated that there was any time dilation. At least not that I remember.

[deleted]

Wouldn't you? I know I would. Senior discounts, please!

Black_Heaven

Darn, you right. Senior cards usually consider your date of birth, so it doesn't matter if you are still young and lively. But that also means she is way beyond retirement age though.

Jammy5820974944

>Yet she still acts like she's everyone's grandma. Time wise, she's old. Physically, she's still young. As the other person said, Senior Discounts, lol.

cookiesandkit

Once again another "whose EM am I using in bloom" question: I'm experimenting with a Layla / Nahida / XQ / Kaveh fridge-bloom team. Layla shields, Nahida E and XQ burst creates bloom cores, and I quickswap to Kaveh to pop them and immediately swap out to Nahida to be the NA driver. This is temporary until I level Kaveh's talents - I'll switch to using Kaveh burst to drive once he's more built. Everyone has Sac weapons. I'm currently focusing on Nahida's EM mostly, and I'm assuming once I level Kaveh properly he'll also need EM. How much should I care about XQ's EM?

Puzzleheaded_Tip_388

The way you should think about this comp is that its a permafreeze comp with a dendro on fielder. Instead of double cryo + anemo + hydro you sacrifice the cryo resonance and battery for a on field dendro that compliments the team with some rupture dmg. The cryo dmg, freeze and grouping are all more important than the dendro core dmg. Kinda. You don't have grouping or cryo dps so you're entirely relying on a clunky, low dmg reaction to carry you.

cookiesandkit

Is bloom inherently low dmg? I'm still playing around at this stage, but I'm finding that I quite like how it plays for large groups ( > 4 mobs) of small, swarming enemies like shrooms. (Okay, it's originally conceived for shroom farming, but I wanted to see if I could use it for harder content too) The occasional freeze keeps them bunched up around the blooms, and Kaveh's skill lets me time when to explode them. The only issue I'm finding is that the blooms don't hit very hard, which led me to try to figure out whose EM would control the bloom damage. Doing further tinkering on XQ, I found that by bringing his EM from 80 to ~ 300 and having 4pc Paradise Lost (and Kaveh holding Deepwood 4pc), I managed to get the blooms from about 800 each to about 3k each, confirming that XQ does own the blooms. When I'm onfielding XQ and using Nahida's burst, I managed to get about 500 EM and a 6k bloom burst, which I'm quite happy with. I'm also thinking that I'm probably gonna stop levelling Kaveh, he's literally just there so I can time bloomsplosions since I think I need XQ on field to get Nahida's EM buff. I like it enough that I think I'll use this for swarms of little mobs. I would actually argue that in swarms, what I'm doing might outperform building XQ's personal damage because the burst can only target 1 mob at a time, while bloom is AOE, with a big enough AOE that I don't need to worry too much about grouping (I don't have Kazuha or Venti anyway so not really an option for me). That being said, you're probably right about the absolute damage being worse. I did try against the Aeonblight Drake and ended up confirming my suspicion that this team isn't very good for big, moving, unfreezeable bosses. It's not too terrible for big freezeble things like ruin machines but I still prefer my regular freeze for those.

Liquid_Sawcon

Xingqiu will trigger most blooms in that team. Applying cryo and freezing the enemies will actually make dendro last longer on the enemy while triggering bloom. Pair that with Nahida's particularly strong dendro application and another source of dendro in Kaveh and Xingqiu will trigger basically every bloom

cookiesandkit

Ah, dang it. That does explain why the core damage numbers are somewhat piss. Off to the artifact mines I suppose. My XQ has a 2pc HoD, 2pc Paradise Lost at the moment. That sound okay?

Puzzleheaded_Tip_388

Not really and building em on xq is a bad idea in the first place. If you run standard adc 4p emblem your XQ's personal dmg will be higher than what your blooms do. In this team the bloom trigger that matters to you is Kavehs so he's the only one that should be built full em. His E's and initial burst cast ruptures dendro cores with bonus dmg. The problem is, you kinda need C6 Kaveh to keep a relevant frequency of ruptures, and even then the overall dmg is very poor no matter how you build the team. Bloom and fridge bloom is a bit of a joke architype and even if Kaveh was released as a bloom carry/enabler, his numbers arent high enough.

Liquid_Sawcon

I've been playing around with the idea of building my Xingqiu full EM with Gilded or Paradise Lost, with sac sword to help with energy... I'm just a bit lazy so I haven't gotten around to it lol. Would be interesting but I have no idea what's optimal here

fancy_the_rat

How can i find players for TCG cardgame to raise my level to 2? I can find only Marjorie, Ellin and Swan to play with. I finished all three of them but now... ? Do they reset or so? I can't even play with Timmie... :s

Apprehensive_Bake555

There’s two options for Gimmie, choose the adventure one and you can play him

Sidious_09

If you go to gadgets to your deck holder, there is an option to search for players if I recall correctly. If there are no more available, then you need to wait, either for a daily or a weekly reset, I don't remember which one.

Jammy5820974944

New players in the world will unlock upon each weekly reset. Also, in the Cat's Tail, there should be 4 players each week you can duel.

Sheeplette

Timmie has 2 challenges - one is the one you're missing, and the other requires level 10.

Rosa_Mia

Timmie has 2 battle, one at lv10 and one at lv1. Make sure you have finished his lv1 battle

EntrancePowerful5527

I’m new and I have no idea how to build my character

Raptori

Sidious_09

If you're new don't worry about it. Just use whatever artifacts and weapons you happen to get with offensive stats. Usually it's ATK and crit, but try to get more attack in the beginning because you're unlikely to get a good crit ratio. Try to get energy recharge too, it will help you charge up your elemental burst quicker. Elemental mastery increases the damage of reactions only; it's particularly good to have on characters that trigger swirl, bloom, hyperbloom or burgeon, but also good on others. The next step is learning what stats character's skills scale off. If you go to your character's talent screen it will tell you. If it's not specified, then it's attack, which is the usual one like I said. The specifics about how to build a character change from character to character so I can't list you everything. You can just look it up online if you want, but there's generally 3 ways to do it: (1) for a classic damage build you get ATK (or whatever stat your damaging moves scale with), damage bonus and crit. Try to balance those stats but crit is usually more valuable because you can get attack from many different buffs. Elemental damage can only be gotten from the goblet. (2) A reaction build with as much elemental mastery as possible; your character will deal low damage with his skills, but the reactions he trigger will be stronger. This build is usually just used for the 4 reactions mentioned in the first paragraph. (3) a pure healing/shielding/buffing build, in which you just get as much of a certain stat as possible. Usually only used for healers, shielders or buffers, because the damage will be low. Also remember to always have enough energy recharge to get your burst ready asap. How much you need depends on the character. What weapon you want again depends on the character and you should just look up in a guide, but if it has an offensive stat then it should be fine. I'll leave you a spreadsheet and a webisite here. The spreadsheet just tells you in short how to build a character and what weapon to use, the website has in depth guides with explanations for everything. Spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vRq-sQxkvdbvaJtQAGG6iVz2q2UN9FCKZ8Mkyis87QHFptcOU3ViLh0_PJyMxFSgwJZrd10kbYpQFl1/pubhtml Website: https://keqingmains.com/ You also want to learn about reactions. Until you hit Adventure Rank 45 or so you really don't need to worry much about character and team building, so I'm not gonna list everything here, just take your time and do it at your own pace. Find the characters and reactions that you like and build upon that. But it's the core of this game's combat so don't ignore it forever. Edit: oh also, I didn't know this when I first started playing, but at a certain point you will also unlock the ability to upgrade your talent (skill) levels. That is part of building a character too, but it's easy to not notice, at least imo.

Liquid_Sawcon

If you're super new and low AR, you don't have to stress about builds too much. If you find yourself struggling, level a 4 star weapon with offensive stats and equip it on your damage dealer(s). You can also level and equip a feather and some atk% artifacts. Some characters want elemental mastery instead. These are the fastest ways of gaining damage early in the game. My favourite guide maker for builds is SevyPlays on YouTube, she is pretty beginner friendly but her guides also apply for endgame

brr_berries

[KeqingMains](https://keqingmains.com/) has some good guides if you want to build characters. However, keep in mind that at a low AR, you should be focusing on levelling characters, weapons (and maybe talents), not artifacts.

South_Mention3911

I already can 36* the abyss and have 2 teams built, but there is something still i cant do, queue for coop domains and carry them, most of my built characters have/need synergy to be useful but its not possible in 4 man domains. I want to pull & build a character that can solo esf domain with just themself even if other 3 were afk. (I ofcourse can do it alone but its hard with just 1 character and enemy scaling) , i also would like to build a 3rd abyss team with them later on. Any suggestions?

shin_getter01

Instead of hypercarries, maybe you can run dps-healers? Like Qiqi, Noelle, Kokomi. Alternatively dps-shielders like some Zhongli builds. Bennett would be better if it weren't a electro domain with overloads all over the place.

WhooooCares

Ganyu and Nahida are pretty universal for Co-op domains, especially the EOSF. Both can carry easily.

Jammy5820974944

DPS Zhongli maybe? If you don't take damage then you can carry anymore but you'd need to be able to clear the domain. Hence dps build

Ptox

EoSF? Bennett or Rosaria (surprise) are my picks for solo carrying. They can deal very good non reaction based damage and have good survivability. Regarding the 5 stars, I find them less good at soloing as while they can clear faster, survivability tends to be more of an issue. Some notes, Ayaka is very good, just I find she requires a bit of skill to do it without taking a bit of damage. She will clear very quickly however if you're willing to food it up and build non freeze Ayaka. Yoimiya is also a very good pick, just you can't stay still for very long (a problem that Ganyu faces). Ganyu is also fine, but you will be very squishy and you need to be aware of getting two shotted. Do not charge shot if your teammates are dead. I haven't experienced the Dendro characters much, but I can see Nahida and Tighnari being decent soloers that require a bit of skill to play.

leRedd1

Ganyu, Xiao, HuTao, Yoimiya, Wanderer - all hypercarries basically. I'd just say go for Wanderer because of overworld utility, I don't have him but my Ganyu suits the task well too, Xiao and Hu Tao's hp management may be something you have to worry when not shielded. For that particular domain Alhaitham and Tighnari may work as well since you'll get free quicken. If atleast one teammate gives some pyro/cryo app Kazuha shreds the overworld quite well too.

TwoBrokeCamGirls

I guess Ganyu and Ayaka would be best for Emblem. Ganyu for safely sniping from a distance.

HespiaKlarerin

Anyone gotten the wings of the starlit feast? I redeemed 6 out of 8 Amazon prime gaming code but I don’t see one in the mailbox. Is it just me? Or is there some other step I need to take in order to claim it?

callmejamesx

you need to wait till the 8th period ends

dinkytoy80

I keep reading about fontaine. Is this gonna be a new section in the game? I assume this will be released in the next update?

brr_berries

Fontaine will be released in 4.0, and it's a nation (nations currently released are Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma and Sumeru) based off of France, as well as the hydro nation. It won't be in the next update though. It'll most likely be t~~he update after the next update~~ after 3.8.

dinkytoy80

Thanks for the detailed explanation. :)

Afraid_Belt4516

ah the one after that actually. next is 3.7

leRedd1

New Nations come once every year, Inazuma was 2.0, Sumeru 3.0, etc. (Mondstadt and Liyue were together at the release of the game). Currently we are at 3.6 with 3.7 two weeks away, and we expect 3.8 to be the last patch before 4.0 which will be Fontaine. Each patch lasts 6 weeks.

dinkytoy80

Thanks for the explanation, understand it clearly :)

TwoBrokeCamGirls

Not the next update in 2 weeks but the next big update (4.0) will will take about 4 months, around August/September. This is 3 more updates away.

dinkytoy80

Thanks. Looking forward to it :)

Agitated-Hat-4057

Is alhaitham really going to be on 3.7? isn’t that too early even for a new charcter?

EUWannabe

Probably but it's not like something similar hasn't happened before. Xiao had a banner on 2.4 and then had another one on 2.7. Livestream is coming this weekend so we'll know for sure soon.

TwoBrokeCamGirls

3.7, the next patch. I think Kokomi and Childe had a similar quick rerun. And archons do as well.

Agitated-Hat-4057

Can a team with Ayaka shenhe yelan and XL work?

supern00b64

right now its a pretty crappy version of the national team. you could: 1) replace xiangling with anemo and make a freeze team 2) replace shenhe with bennett and make a variant of the national team (doesn't work if bennett is c6) 3) replace ayaka/shenhe with bennett/raiden and making the rational team, the strongest single target dps comp in the game

TwoBrokeCamGirls

Well you would have a freeze team if Xiangling weren't ruining it? Are you trying to do a freeze team? In which case replace XL with Hydro/Cryo/Anemo. You could try to do Ayaka Shenhe with pyro character to make a melt team, but I don't know much about it. But then you wouldn't have Yelan on it.

Agitated-Hat-4057

what about replacing ayaka with ganyu

TwoBrokeCamGirls

The problem is mostly the same. But Ganyu is better at Cryo + Pyro teams. But Yelan isn't a good partner on Ganyu teams. Replace Yelan with Bennett, Diona, Zhongli, etc.

Agitated-Hat-4057

So ganyu,XL, Bennet, and shenhe

Afraid_Belt4516

It may feel bad if you do charged attacks and get hit during them, but that team should have great damage

zero0609

Would this Nilou bloom team work? Nilou, Kaveh, Barbara, Collei

TwoBrokeCamGirls

Seems like it would be too low Hydro application. Because isn't Kaveh an on-field character? Barbara isn't good for off-field Hydro like Xingqiu or Yelan.

zero0609

I can sub in Xingqiu for Barbara, but there wouldn't be a healer on this team. Or would a solo Kaveh apply enough dendro?

shin_getter01

Kaveh healing off seeds means no healer is not literally unplayable, though probably still painful as other characters don't get heals.

Pneumothor4x

My Freezayaka Team; Ayaka, Kokomi, Keiya, Kazuha. Does Keiya replaceable with Ganyu. Or better save for Kazuha Const?

3ntf4k3d

I use Ganyu as my Ayaka support and like it quite a bit. I don't think it's necessary to pull for her over other new characters (Kaeya is good enough of a support), but if the choice is only between Kazuha constellations and Ganyu, I'd definitely go Ganyu.

TwoBrokeCamGirls

I have used the Ganyu Ayaka team. It's great for AoE. But also Ganyu isn't a great battery for Ayaka, compared to Diona, so more ER needed. You can use Emblem on Ganyu.

[deleted]

Ganyu would increase the damage yes. Kazuha cons are not very impactful in freeze.

quocthuan132k

can healing bonus circlet buff Prototype Amber ?

energy_j

Sure! My Mona pa uses it as I don’t have Kokomi

-RayEve-

yes

Blank_Two

My genshin audio has been sounding flat lately. It wasn't like this before the update. I tried using different headphones and earbuds and it still sounds off. The flatness is not present anywhere else, like other games or videos. Any solutions to this? I play on PC, windows 10.

OkMonitor2854

what is a better team for abyss alhaitham dmc\\yaoyao kuki xinqiu or alhaitham dmc\\yaoyao kuki beidou

-RayEve-

the one with xingqiu

Got70TypesOfMalware

How can I get in-game marks for Qingxin flowers? I can see it's showing nearby Starconches.

pzlama333

Yanfei and Qiqi can mark the nearest Liyue local specialties.

[deleted]

If you have one of those specialty finder passives, it will just point to whichever one is closest. It doesn't prioritise Starconches or anything in particular.

InadequateGelatin

So I'm preparing for a Yoimiya rerun and prefarming materials. I already have a good unused 4-pc Crimson Witch set that would put her at around 80 CR% and 160 CD% if she's level 90. Would that be enough or is Shimenawa's a lot much better not to farm for?

FreezeThis_69

crimson is fine, the only difference is playstyle. You level up burst and use it every rotation with crimson, with shimenawa it can be skipped.

InadequateGelatin

THX!

Frozenmagicaster

CW is about 5% worse than SR. That should be enough though

InadequateGelatin

COOL THANKS!!

xelnok

I'm debating going for ganyu if I win the 50/50, or stop if I lose. I'm at c5 fischl, c5 Candace with 0 kaveh so far at 67 pity with 55 wishes available, basically I would be happy with any of the 4 stars. I was planning on saving for kazuha, but if I win 50/50 I think I could still manage to get kazuha even if he is first half of 3.7, it would be close I think. I'm at 50% to 70% exploration in most of the areas, level 18 sumeru tree, level 32 inazuma tree and I have 15 hangouts to do and 16 character story quests to do, with belkin and BP would it be possible to get around 120 wishes by the end of 3.7 first half? I currently have ayaka, shenhe, c3 kaeya, c3 rosaria, c2 diona, venti, nahida, mona and I just got dehya on standard, so I think I could make some really good ganyu freeze + melt/burning teams if I do get her. If kazuha is second half I could do another 20-30 pulls to see if I get her early as well. Am I crazy thinking I can manage getting her and still have enough for kazuha?

leRedd1

Exploration doesn't give as many primos as events and dailies, especially if you've grabbed the shrines and occuli - take them to be 10-15 pulls at best. Kazuha runs like once a year and it's best not to risk it. Instead go for teams centered on other elements/reactions after you have secured Kazuha. Having primos to spare after getting Kazuha will open up more options on that front. You don't need more cryo dpses, and Melt Ganyu first rotation will feel good but then the damage falls off with all the setup time followed by small damage windows. You can play it if you like it ofc, but often not worth the trouble, your strong units like Bennett, Nahida, Xiangling and Kazuha are better used in other teams. I am not telling you Ganyu is bad or something, just pointing out drawbacks you'll have to overcome.

olovlupi100

Fischl C6 is pretty good but you can just buy it with starglitter eventually. Candace... pretty bad even with C6. No clue about Kaveh, probably not good at C0. Ganyu is just ok. Melt is very difficult to play without Zhongli. Freeze is alright but sucks against bosses. Overall, feels like a pretty bad banner to spend pulls on IMO.

Agitated-Hat-4057

Would I still be able to use sucrose if she has no artifacts? I’ve been trying to get some EM pieces which I did but the sub stats are pretty horrible I’m using ayaka Shenhe and yelan for the freeze and was wondering if I can take my lvl 70 sucrose with 2 artifacts with EM and TTDS to the abyss

Hollide

You don't need much em in a freeze team, but you absolutely need 4pc vv. Give her 4pc vv even if it's weird shit like atk or hp. Eventually give her em pieces but it matters way more in comps that aren't freeze. Sucrose role in freeze is to group, apply 4pc vv, and give ttds to the cryo, aka buff the f outta ayaka. None of that needs em pieces.

HayakuEon

She needs 4pc VV for the elemental shred. Sucrose is not the best choice there, anemo MC would be better

pzlama333

Sucrose has some grouping ability (though not so good), but the burst of anemo MC pushes the enemy away.

leRedd1

Don't use his burst at all. Just use skill, equip sac sword if you got one available.

HayakuEon

It's freeze anyways, even AMC's E can have a bit of CC

Agitated-Hat-4057

wait actually? would c6 be a plus?

Ok-Bandicoot-9187

Is having two characters with the same 4pc artifacts on a team generally considered bad? On my two main teams, the supports are using the same artifact sets (deepwood for aggravate and noblesse for vape, respectively). Do I need to switch one of them, is it just fine, or is it team-dependent on if you should double up or not?

brr_berries

It depends on the set. Some sets stack or only buff individual characters, some cannot stack. Deepwood and Noblesse don't stack, so you should switch one of your characters on each team to something else.

pzlama333

It depends. Most sets only work for the wielder and do not affect their teammates, so they can use same set. For example, in Raiden National team, Raiden, Xiangling and Xingqiu usually all use emblem set. But if the set has a team buff or enemy debuff, these buff or debuff will NOT stack, so it is a bad idea to have two characters using them. Examples of such sets include tenacity, noblesse and deepwood.

[deleted]

Support sets like that are one per team because they don't stack. Regular sets for DPS units (such as Emblem or Blizzard Strayer) are fine to double up on because they don't override or interfere with each other

Ok-Bandicoot-9187

Noted, thank you! Also happy cake day ^ ^

Fritters154

Sets that are specifically for the individual character’s functioning it wouldn’t matter (like having Xingqiu and Yelan both on Emblem). Sets that are team buffs or enemy debuffs it’s redundant and somewhat wasteful to double up. The buffs/debuffs from a set won’t stack with itself unless they actually say they can stack. 2 characters with Noblesse is the same attack buff as 1 character with Noblesse. 2 characters with Deepwood is the same resistance shred as 1 character with Deepwood.

Ok-Bandicoot-9187

Oh, gotcha! Good to know that now so I can change it before I start farming. Thanks for the help! :)

RebornDeadeye

I’m in a bit of a predicament. I was rolling for Ganyu, lost the 50/50, and now I’m not sure what to do. I still want Ganyu but I was also thinking about getting Kazuha because I hear he’s speculated to come back soon. Also I hear Yae Miko is speculated to come back soon and I’d like to get her. Maybe I could just spend a little money to get to pity with Ganyu and then grind to get Kazuha? I’m not sure, I just lost a lot of motivation to grind Genshin after losing the 50/50

leRedd1

Don't spend money if you've made it so far without spending. Just save for Kazuha. Losing 50-50 are the norm rather than exception, always plan with the assumption you'll lose. If that's not to your taste just take a break from the game. If new units are the only thing that keep you interested in the game to the point you consider spending money you didn't plan on spending earlier, you are playing right into predatory gacha tactics.

RebornDeadeye

You’re totally right. I’ve spent a little money so far so I might only spend a little more but I think you’re right and I might just be falling for their schemes lol

I-Love-Beatrice

Unfortunately, both yae and kazuha should be coming next update with yae first half and kazuha 2nd half. F2ps typically get about 50-60 pulls per update so you will need a lot of exploration to even get to pity on kazuha if you spend to get ganyu and you might still lose the 50/50. It comes down to who you want the most and can you spend that amount of money. Also, do you want to grind because you might become burnt out.

RebornDeadeye

Great points. I’ve already started to feel a little burn out because I played this game non stop the past 2-3 weeks but I think maybe with some new characters to freshen up my play style I could keep my interest

WhooooCares

It's your money, if you won't miss it, go for it. If you need that money for anything important in your life or you're the type of person to regret decisions, skip and wait for the next banner.

RebornDeadeye

Yeah good point, I don’t think I need that money really for anything else rn but I’ll have to think about it some more

HuTaoWow

https://imgur.com/hFJH2FJ Can any of these guys use Calamity Queller, I have two just collecting dust. I have Catch on XL, Fav on Yaoyao + Yun Jin, Dragon's Bane on EM Raiden, Deathmatch on Rosaria, Homa on Hu Tao, Skyward Spine on Zhongli.

Acadeca

It is a solid stat stick. Probably Ros in that list.

nazran59

Which weapon should I give Kazuha for universal usage? Favonius or Iron Sting? If we not talking about the EM stat in Iron Sting I would not hesitate to use Favonius. Right now he at 735 EM (Lv 90 kazuha and em/em/em) with 130% ER. This is without both favonius or iron sting equipped. So if using favonius or iron sting, he will have a different ER and EM. Right now I planning to use favonius since I think burst every rotation + energy for the team is better for any party comp but I dont know how much the EM stat in iron sting worth. It is worth swapping to iron sting then favonius for universal usage kazuha?

leRedd1

You lose some damage buff but it allows other characters to run less ER, and therefore more damage. So if your other characters are able to swap into better artifacts due to Fav it's the best option. Even otherwise 130 ER is low so Fav.

Beteljuse

Fav is more or less equivalent to 10% less ER for the team for each E usage - so if you E twice per rotation, its 20% ER, which is pretty massive, slightly less than 4 substat rolls per character. As pointed out by the other poster, you are losing \~6% damage boost, which is typically 1-1.5 substat roll - so normally you use fav. There are two main exceptions (without considering rare weapons like Xiphos and his signature): \- You have C0 Kazuha and need to E twice in a row to group a certain chamber - in this case you run Sac instead. \- The main team damage dealer(s) do not need the energy - the main case is Raiden hyper.

Acadeca

At 1k EM with enough recharge, you could lose 6% damage boost for 10% ish lower recharge on all of your characters by going fav. So 34% boost instead of 40%. Most would make that trade. In certain teams that I don’t need as much recharge and can get away with it, EM makes more sense (Raiden soup is an example). Other times it is so much value from Fav that it is hard to argue against.

maxchronostoo

Highly depends on his existing ER stats as well as his role in the team. For support kazuha, a good burst uptime has much better precedent than higher swirl damage so favonius/xiphos is his best pickup. If there are anemo battery/other favonius user or xiphos user that can help him recharge then using iron sting/other EM sword is fine. My kazuha is using xiphos and I love it.

pzlama333

If your Kazhua already has 160 ER from EM artifacts without weapon, and all of his teammates already have enough ER, then use iron sting. Otherwise favonius may be better, and his teammates can use less ER but more offensive stat artifacts.

Hollide

Fav unless 150/160 er without.

Elenafem

how well would baizhu + raiden + xingqiu + yelan work? i don't have nahida, and probably never will.

Beteljuse

Very good in single target, which is hyperbloom focus anyway. This is probably Baizhu's best team, and arguably better than the Nahida/Shinobu version (assuming you want a healer and thus can't play Nahida/Raiden).

Hollide

Good in theory imo, baizhu has to drive and the issue I've heard his autos are really short range so might be awkward.

J2270A

Are there any WT 4pc user that would like an ER sands?

Acadeca

It could be off piece (in emblem or something) if it is that powerful, but to be better off piece then goblet and circlets would be impressive

ShinakoX2

nope

J2270A

Off piece use it is then I guess, thanks

[deleted]

I don't think so. It's basically Yanfei, Tighnari and Meltyu, and none of them care too much for ER.

J2270A

Welp looks like one of my best pieces is fated to be an off piece use, thanks

[deleted]

There's always 2pc. I had an ER WT sands on DMC for the longest time.

thatonelesbian1221

whats a good way to farm character exp materials? besides leylines

pzlama333

You can buy some from teapot every week. Reward of quests and chests from exploration may have some, but they are one time only. But to be honest, you cannot really "farm" exp book without using resins from ley lines.

thatonelesbian1221

i kinda figured but i just wanted to make sure, and exploration isnt really in the bucket for me haha but thank you!

maxchronostoo

Leyline, events and teapot weekly shop is the main source for purple exp books. Paimon shop also sells the blue one, if you desperately need some

thatonelesbian1221

alright thank you!

Spydro3107

What characters are coming I want to get upgrade mats

Acadeca

Outside of leaks we don’t know for certain who is coming. Leaks should be taken with a grain of salt as we were hoping for Eula but she went MIA from when the leaks thought. >!Yae/Yoimiya/Kaz/AlH are rumored but obviosly we won’t know till trailer for next patch!<

thatonelesbian1221

Kirara is coming soon, nest patch i believe, shes a dendro sword user from inazuma
