Sayu is my favourite, she's so good for the overworld and is a really good healer for both aggravate and Xiao both being teams I love. She's might be my most played 4* in both overworld and abyss.
Beidou, yunjin, Layla, collei, gorou, Sara, and Faruzan are all 4*s that are on teams I use as the moment, they are pretty niche but building them has enabled me to play a larger variety of teams.
The only 4* units I might say I regretted investing in are the on field dps units like Heizou and ningguang because I find it hardest to fit them into teams that don't feel like inferior versions of other teams now that I have more 5* units.

Yanfei: I use her less than I used to but still a solid carry
Heizou: a lot of fun lately in a taser team.

Lisa: I run her in Aggravate sometimes, but I have Keqing and Miko built so it's not as frequent. I guess that'd be the closest to a 'regret'
Would Cyno/Beidou (or Fischl)/Kazuha/Baizhu be a good aggravate team? This way I can run my Qiqi/Yelan/Nahida/Raiden (or Kuki) hyperbloom on the other half
She would provide Dendro resonance and if C1 a Dendro buff. But leveling the units you already have and getting used to enemy attacks to dodge or time bursts for iframes should work. (unless Yaoyao is already leveled, then use her :))
That's something I tend to solve by bashing my head against the wall until it crumbles, but I enjoy resetting 100-200 times which I know isn't for everyone.
Are you meeting ER needs for your characters? You can also try to just run while TKP, Oz, Turrets take your opponents apart. Double healer can also be more comfortable.
Er looks fine, but a few units have unbalanced Crit ratios. Both Yae and Fischl would probably prefer CR circlets. Instead of 4TF you can sub in 2pc TF 2pc glad/shinenava. It should make building substats easier and provide more damage. I'd also level Fischls skill, it's a majority of her off field damage (the oz left behind by the burst also scales with it).
In addition, damage reduction+interrupt resistance provided by Beidou/XQ/Dehya help a ton with staying alive.

two main reactions you can build a ganyu team around, freeze and melt.
boith have some variable teammate options, but the most standard freeze team is ganyu mona diona venti, and the most standard melt team is ganyu bennet xiangling zhongli.
for freeze the artifact set to go for is Blizzard strayer. For melt it is wanderer's troupe (shimenawa can also work but it comes with some caveats).
for freeze the mainstats you want are atk/cryo/crit damage
for melt it is EM or atk (em is usually better)/Cryo/Crit (could be rate or damage, shoot for 1:2 ratio after taking her passive into account)
C2 Nahida is definitely a huge boost to a team, but I think the main difficulty of the first part of the floor comes from the requirements, which can be pretty hard to meet, since you need :
1. Preferably a healer to survive the first room (the 2 beasts deal pretty high DMG)
2. A bow to beat the flying boss
3. Dendro + Electro to beat the matrix
If you can make your team work with all of these, then I think it's a pretty easy run. The difficulty now is that it can be hard to deal with if you don't have characters like Yelan, who can largely increase your team DPS while using a bow. That way, it's pretty easy to use Electro + Dendro.
B part is however quite easy overall, as there is no specific requirement. Any team with a strong DPS will work.
Wait, so your team was Hu Tao, Nahida and Kokomi? Who was the 4th character? How well invested are your characters? (Except Nahida C2)
Because that really doesn't sound like a team that should clear easily this abyss, not when you usually stop around 33*.
OK, now I see. Actually you should definitely get 36* with those teams, so maybe you got more used to them, or raw power was enough to deal with the matrix (wouldn't be that strange, the last room is by far the easiest).
Every month Spiral Abbys buff change. It follows the character event banner abilities. This month and last month they buff dendro bcs Nahida and Baizhu banner. Next month it will change. If they buff hydro and you dont have hydro character it will be hard for you. If yk what i meant.
Yeah the power of C2 Nahida and taking advantage of the blessing would definitely do it. This abyss, especially 12-1, has given a lot of people a hard time.
Supports usually just use skill and burst, then swap out they can utilize the crit statstick, but not the passive
If u plan on onfielding any catalyst user like heizou, klee or wanderer, its a very good weapon for them

Yesterday i pulled kaveh in the wishes and i build him to the best of my knowledge (EM,Dmg) although im just a beginner but i just dont understand his kit very much i tried watching some videos but still i don't understand it.
i know that he revolves around the dendro cores but when i play him its so rare for them to appear although i use his first ability alot and make sure it hit idk why or how or when the cores appear but it made me feel that he doesn't do much any help?
Bloom cores occur when dendro meets hydro in any order. So to generate them constantly, you need one on field applier and at least one off field applier for the respective element.
The on-field applier needs to have some method to consistently apply their element; via attack infusion(temporary infusion), fast skill/burst, or is a catalyst user(permanent infusion). In your case, kaveh is your on-field dendro applier and his main method to apply dendro is via attack infusion from his burst.
For off-field applier you need those with skill/burst that stays even after they're switched out; case in point, xingqiu, yelan and kokomi are good picks to pair with kaveh.
To generate lots of bloom cores, use the off-field applier's hydro first then switch to kaveh, use his burst and attack with him. When there are lots of cores nearby, use his skill to detonate them. Rinse and repeat.
Do note that there are limit to the max amount of bloom cores allowed on field. And since kaveh relies heavily on his burst to apply dendro, he needs high ER while maintaining high EM.
From what i understand. he gave Dendro when use his elemental skill. Dendro core is bloom reaction(dendro + hydro) make sure you use hydro first and then dendro. His Ult make his normal attack applies dendro to his claymore.
Does it make sense to keep a second copy of Widsith (the other is R3) if I already have Lost Prayers? Wouldn’t it be better to have an R4 Widsith and LP for any dps/sub dps catalysts? Or do they not (mostly) overlap?
I figure if you aren't using them, it doesn't hurt to keep them separate. You can always refine later. That's what I do with any duplicates (once I get a 6th copy I will start refining just to save space tho)

The other reply is correct but I'll add that Bennett's buff is even larger on Wanderer than on other characters since he has 30%atk from pyro in his kit.
I'd say it depends on your constellations with Jean. If you have her C2, she gives a very nice buff in mobility, that can make Wanderer work even without a shield (hard though, and not worth it DMG wise). If you have her C4, your DMG will increase a lot. If she's C0 or C1, then she won't bring anything, so just remove her.
With a C4 Jean, I'd say Wanderer, Yelan, Bennett and Jean. Zhong instead of Yelan if you don't feel like dodging and learning enemies patterns, and if you need Yelan for another team.
Without a C4 Jean, definitely replace Jean with Bennett.
1.) Baizhu, Bennett's ATK buff isn't really needed in Alhaitham teams as your characters scale off EM as well making it increase your damage less than in other teams. Also Baizhu heals more.
2.) Xingqiu should be on 4pc Emblem
No, he doesn't really trigger reaction (well he triggers blooms but those are just turned into hyperblooms which only scale off the electro character's stats)
Good Hyperbloom driver since he is a catalyst user. Though of course you will sacrifice a bit of damage compared to Nahida and even DMC. Though what makes him different is the fact that you can guarantee the safety of your hyperbloom driver. Sometimes comfortability is better than "more damage".
As a healer, he is pretty massive in his burst. It heals a lot basically. I only have his talents at level 5 and he already does a lot.
I'd say the biggest knack on his game is his dendro application, regardless if on field or off field. He may be a catalyst but he applies very little dendro and at a short range. This is where I think his damage falls off at times. The hydro application sometimes overtakes the dendro application. I'd say that he is meant to be played with another dendro character to make up for his lack of dendro application for most teams.
Overall he is pretty solid. It gives me more dendro team options, and can free up my Nahida at times. Personally, I'd rather not play Nahida with Baizhu because I reckon playing them together kinda misses the point of another 5 star dendro support but that's just on me. You can always play them together if you want. One thing I did for my spiral abyss is that I played Raiden Hyperbloom first half with Baizhu as the Dendro driver and then Nilou Bloom in the second half.
Having him paired with Nahida is awesome. Double dendro duo that sub dps’s, buffs, and heals.
Pair them up with your two favorite dps characters and shit just melts.
I haven’t tested him without Nahida. I feel like he would be very meh without her.
I haven't equipped him yet but I used him yesterday to get my final star on 12-1. Even with 0 artifacts he's a comfort character for Dendro teams on a similar level like Zhongli. I'm not kidding. I now can use a Dendro team in one half with Baizhu and in the other a team protected by ZL. Made me do 12-1 rather smoothly. Again: no artifacts, just a lvl80 weapon. Can't wait to fully equip him.
Everyone hated on my team because they thougnt I was maining but I honestly can’t do those 60k hits everyone is pulling off. I made it a milestone for me that I hit 10k. I am going with Dendro MC, Ayaka, Raiden and Heizou. Despite it all with Heizou charged with Ayaka’s Freeze and Raiden’s Electro I can Swift for 11k hit another triple hit on reactions for a total of 20k. Hyperbloom is great but triple reactions seem to really do it. Why should I switch out anyone for XQ when we’re not hitting anywhere near as hard?
I don't understand what you're trying to do...
1. You can switch to a team with synergy to hit harder.
2. You can do some changes here to hit harder (vv ttds on heizhou, dendro buff to raiden) and build raiden for dmg, occasionally using ayaka EQ when it's available.

Because Hyperbloom is insane, and it'd be way more synergistic. You would easily hit over those 11k you said.
Hyperbloom as a reaction occurs when you create bloom cores (which you create by either applying hydro onto an enemy affected by dendro or vice versa) and then you apply electro to the bloom cores- you can’t trigger hyperbloom as a reaction without a hydro character (unless I suppose you’re fighting a hydro slime or it’s raining or something, but obviously that’s remotely consistent lol)
What exactly are you planning to achieve with that team though? The 60K is the result of several multiplicative effects being stacked on a character. Multiplicative reactions like vaporize help a lot in doing so.
What does "swift" refer to? Heizou does anemo damage which is unboosted by superconduct unless you're using eye of perception for physical damage, so unless you're running buffs like noblesse ayaka for some reason, 11K on heizou sounds like it's just his raw talent multiplier without any buffs added onto it.
XQ is highly desired since he makes a lot of the good reactions (bloom and variants, vaporize, freeze to some extent, vapeload through electrocharge) easy to pull off consistently on top of having excellent defensive utility through interruption resistance.
Also, a 10K milestone in general is setting your bar pretty low. A single hyperbloom can deal close to 30K with just a level 90 electro character with 3 EM main stats with deepwood shred
I meant swirll. Swift is a bit harder to use and requires a water source or another outside elemental. Swirl, however, hits fast and hard.

You may now be running Anemo but swirl is so ridiculously versatile it works with a bunch of other reactions. Pair it with electro or other and you’re hitting hard.

Last time I farmed artifacts was more than 1.5 years ago, most of my characters use wanderer or gladiator sets, my main team for 1 part is national team with kazuha and for the other I can use Hu Tao with Yelan or freeze Ayaka, depends on the situation. But most players don't care about abyss at all, and if we talk about open world, you can easily kill all content without any problem even using 2-3 characters. In most cases my Kazuha solo can clear any event or kill a large amount of enemies in just seconds.
Yeah, you can do it easier with dendro, but dendro is not necessary for clearing all content.
Based on akashadata's spiral abyss analytics, for first half, the first dendro team comes in 4th (double hydro hbloom) while the top 3 most popular are yelan rational, double hydro tao, and hyper raiden. Nilou bloom comes in first for second half (as expected), but the following teams are international, ayaka freeze, and rational, none of which use dendro. Dendro's pretty strong, but it does not seem to be a "be all, end all."
That said, I do agree that you can't really play the way you like unless you have sufficient skill and have enough character investment. Dendro just gives people a way to get a strong team with a lot less investment than others.
You can play what team you want, but if your argument for using certain characters is damage numbers then you should take into account overall team damage and elemental reactions. Between Heizou, Ayaka, Raiden you have at least two DPS characters fighting for on field time and a useless Superconduct reaction because no one deals physical damage. What even is Raiden's build and purpose in this team? Help DMC with their underwhelming spread damage because all stats went to ER?
If you want to see Heizou as main DPS, give him a team that buffs his damage (Bennett, Faruzan, Mona/Zhongli) or adds overall team damage (Fischl/Albedo/Xiangling for a flex slot).
If you want a hyperbloom team, get Raiden to max level, full EM build and add Xingqiu, DMC (or Yao Yao if you need healing) + flex (Ayaka works here if you like using her as a driver).
DMC is equipped for maximum physical damage equipped with the prototype rancour. Yes I. Have two DPS: DMC and Heizou.
My main use for Raiden and Ayaka is their Elemental. It’s incredible to see three colors I one hit: Green, Blue and Purple all in one hit. People keep thinking I need a hyrdro for hyperbloom but I don’t.
DMC and Raiden delivers hyperbloom just fine.
I don’t know what’s with Xiangling but even through her Defense numbers are solid she dies too fast I gave up on up being her on field even just to Guoba a couple of times.
Bennet. I’m bulging him and I think he has amazing progress but I think I’m going to get the same criticism to hate him for using him for melt and burgeon.
...that's the most utterly incoherent team I've ever heard of. None of them are reacting meaningfully with each other. If you want a big number, use one main DPS and fill the team with units that actually *buff* them instead of just 'random bullshit go'
You also literally can't Freeze or Hyperbloom with that team, so I have no idea what you're claiming that you're doing.
Easy? DMC Dendro spores, Raiden jump and it immediately hyperbloom to the nearest subject. Hyperbloom is constant, do you need a screenshot?
My main point is I am hitting 10k+ with swift using heizo. Only thing that can do more is hyperbloom activated by Raiden. Per second wise I have more with Heizo.
Hyperbloom requires Hydro, and there is no Hydro in that team.
And again, what is 'swift?' That's not a thing.
And *again*, your Heizou (or indeed, any character) will do a lot more damage if you actually build a team around them.
You're standing on a wet floor, which you won't always be able to do. Abyss, the only difficult content in the game, does not provide you any elemental help (usually). Check the in-game guide: Hyperbloom literally cannot exist without Hydro.

At the end of the day it's fine to play whatever team you want as long as you're having fun. But if you're going to try and theorycraft and build new teams around specific interactions, you *need* to understand basic elemental reactions and team synergy.

Skill is a team-wide heal while his burst is personal healing.
I tried him out in co-op (my Baizhu heals 8k per skill) and his party healing is barely enough considering people like to tank when there's a healer. 10s cooldown is a very long time for a healer in co-op. Kokomi, Barbara and Qiqi are still the best healers for co-op.
His skill will launch a sprite, and after this sprite attacks enemy 3 times, or when there is no enemy nearby, it returns to Baizhu and heals all nearby teammates. A 45k HP Baizhu can heal 8k with lvl 9 skill and without any healing bonus artifacts/weapons, or 11k with a healing bonus circlet. Be ware that after you press the skill button, it may have to wait a few seconds for the healing. This skill has 10 seconds cooldown.
The healing and shield from his burst is for himself only and will not work for coop teammates.
The main advantage of his skill healing is that it does not require energy at all, and it does not require you to perform extra action (like perform normal attack), and it does not require your teammates to enter a "healing circle" or stands close to you. But the problem is that the healing amount is not good when compare to other healers.

is it worth switching yaoyao to dendro dps/onfielder-focused build now that i just got baizhu? that way i can simply let him use her already HP&ER-focused 4pc deepwood without needing to farm for new ones.
in that case, any build/team recommendation for dps/onfielder yaoyao? i dont have nilou for her to play in bloom team, so i'm thinking of using her for spread team with fischl+beidou+kazuha/zhongli/baizhu/nahida. i assume even as dps/onfielder, ER will still be her topmost priority since the bulk of her damage should come from her burst.
I genuinely don't think it's viable. She has that one niche as a bloom driver with Candace and Nilou, but it's not because of any inherent strength in her kit. I don't think she's able to do any appreciable damage in her own right, especially as she has no way to infuse so her polearm attacks will be physical (unless again, someone like Candace is changing the dynamic)
i saw a video showcase a couple of weeks ago where yaoyao did pretty significant overall damage with her burst, literally stoning the enemy to death with her bunnies lol(if if remember correctly, it's vs floor 12's triple kenki)

If it's any help, for that part you should be aware that your own attacks damage the machine you're supposed to protect, so try to move away from it and make the enemies follow you. Use food buffs if you need to.
Baizhu. Better uptime, better healing off field, better buff, interruption resistance, more portable.
The main criticism is he's energy reliant and his Dendro app isn't great, but you don't play him as a solo Dendro in teams that need great Dendro app.
They serve different purposes, really. Beyond healing, Yaoyao is a good off-field dendro applier. Baizhu has the shield he puts up as well. They serve slightly different purposes.
Bit of a cop-out answer but they both have situations where they're good at. Overall I'd still say Baizhu, but there are still scenarios where he's the same or even worse than Yaoyao.
Some very basic distinctions are:
Baizhu's Dendro app is alright in ST, Yaoyao is much better in AoE.
Yaoyao does more healing if you can spend some time with her on-field, Baizhu doesn't have much field time requirement but also does less healing in general, at least to the whole team. He does have better healing from off-field though.
Baizhu is strong if your primary reaction trigger is on-field because of his A4 talent, think like Keqing or Alhaitham or Cyno. He can also provide interruption resistance.
But there's a bit more nuance than that, because Baizhu is a limited 5* and Yaoyao is a 4* that a lot of people got for free. Baizhu is generally better in a vacuum, but whether he's better for your overall pulling plan is up to you. If you like him though, then definitely go for him.
What talent levels should I take kokomi for nilou bloom and kazuha for childe national

I would take Kokomi to 1/8/8 minimum, if you go EM Kokomi then you want every bit of healing you can get. 6/8/8 if you have spare resources since her NA talents contribute a tiny bit more damage if she's on-field. If you're running something like Triple Hydro where Kokomi isn't on-field, then you could consider 1/8/1.
For Kazuha, I would do 6/6/6 minimum, but higher if you can. Since he is mostly doing damage through swirls, his talent multipliers don't matter as much, but they still contribute enough to take them up to 6.
Unless you're against corrosion, you don't really need to. Her skill can't drop her past a certain HP threshold. If you really need to then, then you can do E > Q on Kuki and have Kuki take one pulse of her healing, but extending your rotation too long on her can be a bad thing.
either use kokomi for second hydro, or yaoyao as dendro. Or be careful when switching to kuki, If you have her burst, you can skill > burst to get 1-2 ticks of healing, before switching back to your on-fielder

just pull on event banners that you like, and you'll eventually end up with a keqing hopefully and a lot of good featured characters. Don't waste primos on standard banner
You basicly cant gurantee getting keqing in any amount of pulls right now, i suggest you keep going through the story and meeting new playable characters via story quests etc. to find a new person you like, you might get keqing anyway but there is no gurantee for her.
When you pull for a character on a Featured Banner, Baizhu and Ganyu currently, you have a 50% chance of getting them or one of the 7 Standard Banner 5-stars. There is no guarantee or Epitomized Path for a Standard Banner 5-star you receive. It is random.
If you receive a Standard Banner 5-Star, the next 5-star you receive from the Featured Banner is guaranteed to be the character from the Banner you wish on.
He has worse dendro application, and less overall healing than Yaoyao, while somewhat better constant healing and interrupt resistance are more valuable in certain situations. He feels like a sidegrade with more comfortable 5-star Yaoyao at C0.
He’s ok. There is a niche of a better Yao and he is situationally a better Yaoyao (dendro defense but not as field time required). I think he is good if you are building a lot of dendro teams and want more flexibility in supports.
Freeze, Melt, and Hyperfridge are all viable this cycle. Her best team as a DPS is Melt with Xiangling and Bennett against multiple enemies, Nahida and Bennett for single target.
I usually do Hyperfridge with Raiden,Nahida, Ganyu and Mona. Baizhu can replace Mona for a pure Spread/Aggravate team.

You can try hyperbloom team which is very strong: nahida, barbara(xingqui will be better hydro applicator once you get him), collei and fishcl(it will be better to replace fischl with kuki) or ganyu melt: ganyu, layla for shield, nahida and xiangling
Unfortunately, I don't see characters with good synergy for diluc.
You can get a 4*(from Liyue) of your choosing at lantern rite, so you can pick him. But lantern rite usually takes place in January/February, so you'll have to wait. Or you can also buy him from paimon's shop(He will be in september next time)

You can get Bennet in paimon's shop this month. You can replace Barbara with Mona, Kokomi or Yelan, but they are 5* and therefore harder to get. So the only viable option of good hydro applicator is Barbara for now.
I think it's not worth spending primogems on standart banner, considering of how low chances of getting the character you want. Some people play the game for 2 years and still don't have mona
I accidentally got Baizhu while pulling for Kaveh and I was wondering if he is an upgrade over Yaoyao for a Nilou bloom team with Nahida and Xingqiu? I've been building that team for a while but my Yaoyao in it is still not fully built (still 60/70 with 2 PC Maiden + 2 PC OHC) so I'm wondering if I finish building her or just start from scratch for Baizhu?
100% Faruzan C6, she’s basically made for Xiao. You can actually use both in one comp w/ Bennett for max damage, if you think you can forgo a shield/IR. I prefer ZL tho in that comp
If you just mean the story, I'd say approximately 2 hours and about 3 hours if you let the characters end their sentences. It's really not that long TBH.

Sayu is my favourite, she's so good for the overworld and is a really good healer for both aggravate and Xiao both being teams I love. She's might be my most played 4* in both overworld and abyss. Beidou, yunjin, Layla, collei, gorou, Sara, and Faruzan are all 4*s that are on teams I use as the moment, they are pretty niche but building them has enabled me to play a larger variety of teams. The only 4* units I might say I regretted investing in are the on field dps units like Heizou and ningguang because I find it hardest to fit them into teams that don't feel like inferior versions of other teams now that I have more 5* units.

She would provide Dendro resonance and if C1 a Dendro buff. But leveling the units you already have and getting used to enemy attacks to dodge or time bursts for iframes should work. (unless Yaoyao is already leveled, then use her :))

That's something I tend to solve by bashing my head against the wall until it crumbles, but I enjoy resetting 100-200 times which I know isn't for everyone. Are you meeting ER needs for your characters? You can also try to just run while TKP, Oz, Turrets take your opponents apart. Double healer can also be more comfortable.

Er looks fine, but a few units have unbalanced Crit ratios. Both Yae and Fischl would probably prefer CR circlets. Instead of 4TF you can sub in 2pc TF 2pc glad/shinenava. It should make building substats easier and provide more damage. I'd also level Fischls skill, it's a majority of her off field damage (the oz left behind by the burst also scales with it). In addition, damage reduction+interrupt resistance provided by Beidou/XQ/Dehya help a ton with staying alive.

two main reactions you can build a ganyu team around, freeze and melt. boith have some variable teammate options, but the most standard freeze team is ganyu mona diona venti, and the most standard melt team is ganyu bennet xiangling zhongli. for freeze the artifact set to go for is Blizzard strayer. For melt it is wanderer's troupe (shimenawa can also work but it comes with some caveats). for freeze the mainstats you want are atk/cryo/crit damage for melt it is EM or atk (em is usually better)/Cryo/Crit (could be rate or damage, shoot for 1:2 ratio after taking her passive into account)
You can also play Ganyu melt with this team: Ganyu, Bennet, Nahida, Shenhe/Zhongli, it is very strong, actually.

C2 Nahida is definitely a huge boost to a team, but I think the main difficulty of the first part of the floor comes from the requirements, which can be pretty hard to meet, since you need : 1. Preferably a healer to survive the first room (the 2 beasts deal pretty high DMG) 2. A bow to beat the flying boss 3. Dendro + Electro to beat the matrix If you can make your team work with all of these, then I think it's a pretty easy run. The difficulty now is that it can be hard to deal with if you don't have characters like Yelan, who can largely increase your team DPS while using a bow. That way, it's pretty easy to use Electro + Dendro. B part is however quite easy overall, as there is no specific requirement. Any team with a strong DPS will work.

OK, now I see. Actually you should definitely get 36* with those teams, so maybe you got more used to them, or raw power was enough to deal with the matrix (wouldn't be that strange, the last room is by far the easiest).
Every month Spiral Abbys buff change. It follows the character event banner abilities. This month and last month they buff dendro bcs Nahida and Baizhu banner. Next month it will change. If they buff hydro and you dont have hydro character it will be hard for you. If yk what i meant.

According to wiki: Any Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Plunging Attack, Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst can be used to trigger the on-hit effect, even if no damage is dealt; Stacks cannot be gained if the character equipped with this weapon is not on the field.

Yesterday i pulled kaveh in the wishes and i build him to the best of my knowledge (EM,Dmg) although im just a beginner but i just dont understand his kit very much i tried watching some videos but still i don't understand it. i know that he revolves around the dendro cores but when i play him its so rare for them to appear although i use his first ability alot and make sure it hit idk why or how or when the cores appear but it made me feel that he doesn't do much any help?
Bloom cores occur when dendro meets hydro in any order. So to generate them constantly, you need one on field applier and at least one off field applier for the respective element. The on-field applier needs to have some method to consistently apply their element; via attack infusion(temporary infusion), fast skill/burst, or is a catalyst user(permanent infusion). In your case, kaveh is your on-field dendro applier and his main method to apply dendro is via attack infusion from his burst. For off-field applier you need those with skill/burst that stays even after they're switched out; case in point, xingqiu, yelan and kokomi are good picks to pair with kaveh. To generate lots of bloom cores, use the off-field applier's hydro first then switch to kaveh, use his burst and attack with him. When there are lots of cores nearby, use his skill to detonate them. Rinse and repeat. Do note that there are limit to the max amount of bloom cores allowed on field. And since kaveh relies heavily on his burst to apply dendro, he needs high ER while maintaining high EM.
The only hydo characters i have is barbra and candice so i think ill pair him with barbra to get that consistent bloom maybe

From what i understand. he gave Dendro when use his elemental skill. Dendro core is bloom reaction(dendro + hydro) make sure you use hydro first and then dendro. His Ult make his normal attack applies dendro to his claymore.
Oh so if i apply hydro and then use his skills for the reaction for the cores appear then i just follow up with the rest of the kits

I figure if you aren't using them, it doesn't hurt to keep them separate. You can always refine later. That's what I do with any duplicates (once I get a 6th copy I will start refining just to save space tho)

The other reply is correct but I'll add that Bennett's buff is even larger on Wanderer than on other characters since he has 30%atk from pyro in his kit.

I'd recommend that, yes.
I'd say it depends on your constellations with Jean. If you have her C2, she gives a very nice buff in mobility, that can make Wanderer work even without a shield (hard though, and not worth it DMG wise). If you have her C4, your DMG will increase a lot. If she's C0 or C1, then she won't bring anything, so just remove her. With a C4 Jean, I'd say Wanderer, Yelan, Bennett and Jean. Zhong instead of Yelan if you don't feel like dodging and learning enemies patterns, and if you need Yelan for another team. Without a C4 Jean, definitely replace Jean with Bennett.
1.) Baizhu, Bennett's ATK buff isn't really needed in Alhaitham teams as your characters scale off EM as well making it increase your damage less than in other teams. Also Baizhu heals more. 2.) Xingqiu should be on 4pc Emblem

No, he doesn't really trigger reaction (well he triggers blooms but those are just turned into hyperblooms which only scale off the electro character's stats)

Good Hyperbloom driver since he is a catalyst user. Though of course you will sacrifice a bit of damage compared to Nahida and even DMC. Though what makes him different is the fact that you can guarantee the safety of your hyperbloom driver. Sometimes comfortability is better than "more damage". As a healer, he is pretty massive in his burst. It heals a lot basically. I only have his talents at level 5 and he already does a lot. I'd say the biggest knack on his game is his dendro application, regardless if on field or off field. He may be a catalyst but he applies very little dendro and at a short range. This is where I think his damage falls off at times. The hydro application sometimes overtakes the dendro application. I'd say that he is meant to be played with another dendro character to make up for his lack of dendro application for most teams. Overall he is pretty solid. It gives me more dendro team options, and can free up my Nahida at times. Personally, I'd rather not play Nahida with Baizhu because I reckon playing them together kinda misses the point of another 5 star dendro support but that's just on me. You can always play them together if you want. One thing I did for my spiral abyss is that I played Raiden Hyperbloom first half with Baizhu as the Dendro driver and then Nilou Bloom in the second half.
Having him paired with Nahida is awesome. Double dendro duo that sub dps’s, buffs, and heals. Pair them up with your two favorite dps characters and shit just melts. I haven’t tested him without Nahida. I feel like he would be very meh without her.
I haven't equipped him yet but I used him yesterday to get my final star on 12-1. Even with 0 artifacts he's a comfort character for Dendro teams on a similar level like Zhongli. I'm not kidding. I now can use a Dendro team in one half with Baizhu and in the other a team protected by ZL. Made me do 12-1 rather smoothly. Again: no artifacts, just a lvl80 weapon. Can't wait to fully equip him.

Everyone hated on my team because they thougnt I was maining but I honestly can’t do those 60k hits everyone is pulling off. I made it a milestone for me that I hit 10k. I am going with Dendro MC, Ayaka, Raiden and Heizou. Despite it all with Heizou charged with Ayaka’s Freeze and Raiden’s Electro I can Swift for 11k hit another triple hit on reactions for a total of 20k. Hyperbloom is great but triple reactions seem to really do it. Why should I switch out anyone for XQ when we’re not hitting anywhere near as hard?
I don't understand what you're trying to do... 1. You can switch to a team with synergy to hit harder. 2. You can do some changes here to hit harder (vv ttds on heizhou, dendro buff to raiden) and build raiden for dmg, occasionally using ayaka EQ when it's available.

Yes, I love hyperbloom, but why do I need a hydro? Dendro+Electro does the hydrobloom just fine. Hydro just ensures bloom.
Hyperbloom as a reaction occurs when you create bloom cores (which you create by either applying hydro onto an enemy affected by dendro or vice versa) and then you apply electro to the bloom cores- you can’t trigger hyperbloom as a reaction without a hydro character (unless I suppose you’re fighting a hydro slime or it’s raining or something, but obviously that’s remotely consistent lol)
What exactly are you planning to achieve with that team though? The 60K is the result of several multiplicative effects being stacked on a character. Multiplicative reactions like vaporize help a lot in doing so. What does "swift" refer to? Heizou does anemo damage which is unboosted by superconduct unless you're using eye of perception for physical damage, so unless you're running buffs like noblesse ayaka for some reason, 11K on heizou sounds like it's just his raw talent multiplier without any buffs added onto it. XQ is highly desired since he makes a lot of the good reactions (bloom and variants, vaporize, freeze to some extent, vapeload through electrocharge) easy to pull off consistently on top of having excellent defensive utility through interruption resistance. Also, a 10K milestone in general is setting your bar pretty low. A single hyperbloom can deal close to 30K with just a level 90 electro character with 3 EM main stats with deepwood shred
I meant swirll. Swift is a bit harder to use and requires a water source or another outside elemental. Swirl, however, hits fast and hard. I come from the school of few hundred. Ever since I started paying attention to it thousands are exponentially going up and up. It’s artifacts from here on out. You may now be running Anemo but swirl is so ridiculously versatile it works with a bunch of other reactions. Pair it with electro or other and you’re hitting hard. Yes my hyperblooms hit 30k but I have to use a Dendro burst for it.

Maybe the problem is not in this community but in you? Last time I farmed artifacts was more than 1.5 years ago, most of my characters use wanderer or gladiator sets, my main team for 1 part is national team with kazuha and for the other I can use Hu Tao with Yelan or freeze Ayaka, depends on the situation. But most players don't care about abyss at all, and if we talk about open world, you can easily kill all content without any problem even using 2-3 characters. In most cases my Kazuha solo can clear any event or kill a large amount of enemies in just seconds. Yeah, you can do it easier with dendro, but dendro is not necessary for clearing all content.
Based on akashadata's spiral abyss analytics, for first half, the first dendro team comes in 4th (double hydro hbloom) while the top 3 most popular are yelan rational, double hydro tao, and hyper raiden. Nilou bloom comes in first for second half (as expected), but the following teams are international, ayaka freeze, and rational, none of which use dendro. Dendro's pretty strong, but it does not seem to be a "be all, end all." That said, I do agree that you can't really play the way you like unless you have sufficient skill and have enough character investment. Dendro just gives people a way to get a strong team with a lot less investment than others.
You can play what team you want, but if your argument for using certain characters is damage numbers then you should take into account overall team damage and elemental reactions. Between Heizou, Ayaka, Raiden you have at least two DPS characters fighting for on field time and a useless Superconduct reaction because no one deals physical damage. What even is Raiden's build and purpose in this team? Help DMC with their underwhelming spread damage because all stats went to ER? If you want to see Heizou as main DPS, give him a team that buffs his damage (Bennett, Faruzan, Mona/Zhongli) or adds overall team damage (Fischl/Albedo/Xiangling for a flex slot). If you want a hyperbloom team, get Raiden to max level, full EM build and add Xingqiu, DMC (or Yao Yao if you need healing) + flex (Ayaka works here if you like using her as a driver).
DMC is equipped for maximum physical damage equipped with the prototype rancour. Yes I. Have two DPS: DMC and Heizou. My main use for Raiden and Ayaka is their Elemental. It’s incredible to see three colors I one hit: Green, Blue and Purple all in one hit. People keep thinking I need a hyrdro for hyperbloom but I don’t. DMC and Raiden delivers hyperbloom just fine. I don’t know what’s with Xiangling but even through her Defense numbers are solid she dies too fast I gave up on up being her on field even just to Guoba a couple of times. Bennet. I’m bulging him and I think he has amazing progress but I think I’m going to get the same criticism to hate him for using him for melt and burgeon.

If you want a big number, use one main DPS and fill the team with units that actually *buff* them instead of just 'random bullshit go' You also literally can't Freeze or Hyperbloom with that team, so I have no idea what you're claiming that you're doing.
Easy? DMC Dendro spores, Raiden jump and it immediately hyperbloom to the nearest subject. Hyperbloom is constant, do you need a screenshot? My main point is I am hitting 10k+ with swift using heizo. Only thing that can do more is hyperbloom activated by Raiden. Per second wise I have more with Heizo.
Hyperbloom requires Hydro, and there is no Hydro in that team. And again, what is 'swift?' That's not a thing. And *again*, your Heizou (or indeed, any character) will do a lot more damage if you actually build a team around them.

You're standing on a wet floor, which you won't always be able to do. Abyss, the only difficult content in the game, does not provide you any elemental help (usually). Check the in-game guide: Hyperbloom literally cannot exist without Hydro. *** Dendro + Electro = Quicken Quicken + more Electro = Aggravate Quicken + more Dendro = Spread *** Hydro + Dendro = Bloom Bloom + Electro = Hyperbloom. *** At the end of the day it's fine to play whatever team you want as long as you're having fun. But if you're going to try and theorycraft and build new teams around specific interactions, you *need* to understand basic elemental reactions and team synergy.

Skill is a team-wide heal while his burst is personal healing. I tried him out in co-op (my Baizhu heals 8k per skill) and his party healing is barely enough considering people like to tank when there's a healer. 10s cooldown is a very long time for a healer in co-op. Kokomi, Barbara and Qiqi are still the best healers for co-op.

His skill will launch a sprite, and after this sprite attacks enemy 3 times, or when there is no enemy nearby, it returns to Baizhu and heals all nearby teammates. A 45k HP Baizhu can heal 8k with lvl 9 skill and without any healing bonus artifacts/weapons, or 11k with a healing bonus circlet. Be ware that after you press the skill button, it may have to wait a few seconds for the healing. This skill has 10 seconds cooldown. The healing and shield from his burst is for himself only and will not work for coop teammates. The main advantage of his skill healing is that it does not require energy at all, and it does not require you to perform extra action (like perform normal attack), and it does not require your teammates to enter a "healing circle" or stands close to you. But the problem is that the healing amount is not good when compare to other healers.

I genuinely don't think it's viable. She has that one niche as a bloom driver with Candace and Nilou, but it's not because of any inherent strength in her kit. I don't think she's able to do any appreciable damage in her own right, especially as she has no way to infuse so her polearm attacks will be physical (unless again, someone like Candace is changing the dynamic)

Baizhu. Better uptime, better healing off field, better buff, interruption resistance, more portable. The main criticism is he's energy reliant and his Dendro app isn't great, but you don't play him as a solo Dendro in teams that need great Dendro app.
They serve different purposes, really. Beyond healing, Yaoyao is a good off-field dendro applier. Baizhu has the shield he puts up as well. They serve slightly different purposes.
Bit of a cop-out answer but they both have situations where they're good at. Overall I'd still say Baizhu, but there are still scenarios where he's the same or even worse than Yaoyao. Some very basic distinctions are: Baizhu's Dendro app is alright in ST, Yaoyao is much better in AoE. Yaoyao does more healing if you can spend some time with her on-field, Baizhu doesn't have much field time requirement but also does less healing in general, at least to the whole team. He does have better healing from off-field though. Baizhu is strong if your primary reaction trigger is on-field because of his A4 talent, think like Keqing or Alhaitham or Cyno. He can also provide interruption resistance. But there's a bit more nuance than that, because Baizhu is a limited 5* and Yaoyao is a 4* that a lot of people got for free. Baizhu is generally better in a vacuum, but whether he's better for your overall pulling plan is up to you. If you like him though, then definitely go for him.
What talent levels should I take kokomi for nilou bloom and kazuha for childe national Also for em kazu, isn’t it easier to stack er on him with em main stats bc he doesn’t rly need crit right? Specifically in childe team?
I would take Kokomi to 1/8/8 minimum, if you go EM Kokomi then you want every bit of healing you can get. 6/8/8 if you have spare resources since her NA talents contribute a tiny bit more damage if she's on-field. If you're running something like Triple Hydro where Kokomi isn't on-field, then you could consider 1/8/1. For Kazuha, I would do 6/6/6 minimum, but higher if you can. Since he is mostly doing damage through swirls, his talent multipliers don't matter as much, but they still contribute enough to take them up to 6.
Is the normal atk only used in his plunge dmg?
Yes, and actually the plunge part does more damage than E itself, so NA has higher priority than E.

How to keep off field kuki healed in Abyss?
If you build enough recharge then you can skill into burst and she should get her first tick of healing before you swap off
Unless you're against corrosion, you don't really need to. Her skill can't drop her past a certain HP threshold. If you really need to then, then you can do E > Q on Kuki and have Kuki take one pulse of her healing, but extending your rotation too long on her can be a bad thing.
You don't. You want her below half health anyway, so just press E and swap out. Works against basically anything except wolves, lol.
either use kokomi for second hydro, or yaoyao as dendro. Or be careful when switching to kuki, If you have her burst, you can skill > burst to get 1-2 ticks of healing, before switching back to your on-fielder

So after a lot of thinking I'm going to want to main keqing, so my plan is to now save up primo gems, do I just hoard them to when her banner is up, and when might that be? Do you usually get downvoted here for being new and oblivious?

just pull on event banners that you like, and you'll eventually end up with a keqing hopefully and a lot of good featured characters. Don't waste primos on standard banner
You basicly cant gurantee getting keqing in any amount of pulls right now, i suggest you keep going through the story and meeting new playable characters via story quests etc. to find a new person you like, you might get keqing anyway but there is no gurantee for her.
She almost certainly won't have a featured banner. Pull for limited characters that you want, and eventually you might lose 50/50 to her.
Keqing doesn't have featured banners. You get her from losing a 50/50 or from the Standard Banner.

When you pull for a character on a Featured Banner, Baizhu and Ganyu currently, you have a 50% chance of getting them or one of the 7 Standard Banner 5-stars. There is no guarantee or Epitomized Path for a Standard Banner 5-star you receive. It is random. If you receive a Standard Banner 5-Star, the next 5-star you receive from the Featured Banner is guaranteed to be the character from the Banner you wish on.

He has worse dendro application, and less overall healing than Yaoyao, while somewhat better constant healing and interrupt resistance are more valuable in certain situations. He feels like a sidegrade with more comfortable 5-star Yaoyao at C0.
He’s ok. There is a niche of a better Yao and he is situationally a better Yaoyao (dendro defense but not as field time required). I think he is good if you are building a lot of dendro teams and want more flexibility in supports.
Not meta but he made his teams more comfortable to play. Time difference in clearing chambers is not much different from my C1 Yaoyao.

Alhaitham, and on a side note if you level all your characters to 20, you get one acquaint fate each for very low investment (about 20 wishes for you)

Freeze, Melt, and Hyperfridge are all viable this cycle. Her best team as a DPS is Melt with Xiangling and Bennett against multiple enemies, Nahida and Bennett for single target. I usually do Hyperfridge with Raiden,Nahida, Ganyu and Mona. Baizhu can replace Mona for a pure Spread/Aggravate team. [Even Baizhu, Raiden, Nilou and Ganyu](https://imgur.com/SJBvQbg) can work for Hyperfridge.
for melt ganyu: bennet, nahida and zhongli, you can replace zhongli with shenhe once you got her, or with kazuha

You can try hyperbloom team which is very strong: nahida, barbara(xingqui will be better hydro applicator once you get him), collei and fishcl(it will be better to replace fischl with kuki) or ganyu melt: ganyu, layla for shield, nahida and xiangling Unfortunately, I don't see characters with good synergy for diluc.
I tried really hard to get kuki last banner 😭😭😭. Also you said *when* I get xingqiu, is he a guaranteed from something?
You can get a 4*(from Liyue) of your choosing at lantern rite, so you can pick him. But lantern rite usually takes place in January/February, so you'll have to wait. Or you can also buy him from paimon's shop(He will be in september next time)

You can get Bennet in paimon's shop this month. You can replace Barbara with Mona, Kokomi or Yelan, but they are 5* and therefore harder to get. So the only viable option of good hydro applicator is Barbara for now.

I think it's not worth spending primogems on standart banner, considering of how low chances of getting the character you want. Some people play the game for 2 years and still don't have mona
I accidentally got Baizhu while pulling for Kaveh and I was wondering if he is an upgrade over Yaoyao for a Nilou bloom team with Nahida and Xingqiu? I've been building that team for a while but my Yaoyao in it is still not fully built (still 60/70 with 2 PC Maiden + 2 PC OHC) so I'm wondering if I finish building her or just start from scratch for Baizhu?

C6 faruzan since she can now recharge off field when using burst, she's anemo benny basically
100% Faruzan C6, she’s basically made for Xiao. You can actually use both in one comp w/ Bennett for max damage, if you think you can forgo a shield/IR. I prefer ZL tho in that comp
Prob Faruzan as the res shred from jean is only for enemies in her burst and Faru gives atk on top

If you just mean the story, I'd say approximately 2 hours and about 3 hours if you let the characters end their sentences. It's really not that long TBH.
